Erin Hershberg (IUC Fashion Correspondent)
The self-proclaimed Zelig of the new millennium, fashion correspondent Erin Hershberg gets around. Based “any where you want her to be,” Erin Hershberg began her tongue-lashing in the frigid, rage- inducing city of Winnipeg. It was in this freakishly lonely city that Hershberg met world renowned, cult weirdo and film director, Guy Maddin. In a Charlie Kaufman-like effort to see himself for who he truly was, Mr. Maddin hired Ms. Hershberg at the tight-bottomed age of nineteen to be his diarist. So scathing, hilarious and honest was Hershberg’s record of Maddin that it was nabbed by Cinemascope and published. Erin Hershberg, the little girl with the big voice, prefers working where you least expect her – she has worked for yelp.com, Toronto.com, Cinemascope magazine, The McGill Press, and has even (odd, but typical) appeared on the cover of Woman’s World Magazine. Hershberg is frighteningly unique, brazen and a downright brat.
