Happy Holidays! I’m traveling so not much time to guess on this post. The last 5 posts, her initials change in the tags. First small, then three in caps and this is back to small. I would guess this is suggesting strength, or her strength of involvement, success or current mind set. The articles:
    Xmas holiday spin…unrealistic expectations.
    Flaunting…family trip photos.
Christmas movie prosperous…but is she really “unbroken”

Think this means things are not as good as the pictures being presented. It appears that Ian may be suggesting that there will be some family trip photos released soon that spin the perfect picture, but it’s just a spin. I don’t know how this movie can get nominated for any of the big Oscar categories.

Despite the box office and some positive wom, this movie has taken some hard, hard hits from both critics and movigoers alike. I think the studio “gave” her a workable illness after the leaks and continual bad reviews to get herout of the way so others could be used to sell the movie.

I never noticed that her initials were in both lower and upper case in the various clues. Maybe it has to do with the size of her ego at the time Ian posts. So, do you happen to be traveling in Eastern Europe? JK (I think). Happy holidays.

Just came across this blind item, not sure if someone brought this over in another thread. This I could believe.

This A+ list mostly movie actress who has been in the news a lot this week and not of her own doing. Well, kind of. Anyway, she usually sets up a couple of guys every year with women she has found who are willing to have sex and also pays for a vacation for the men and women to have sex. She didn’t do that this year and was snubbed. Angelina Jolie (Golden Globe committee)

If true this is hilarious – wonder whether that was why she was pissed that Winslet won that year – after she’d paid for the selection committee to get laid and everything!!!! lol

  10. Guest2 said on December 29th, 2014 at 5:54 pm

Was that the year the Tourist was nominated for a Golden Globe and Ricky Gervais made a comment about buying the nomination? Now we know what he really meant.

  11. siska said on December 29th, 2014 at 6:16 pm

    I think for whatever reason
People dislike aj, we have to admit she is still top star n one of rare woman in show business that can stand tall with other powerful male in HW. She has diversied tricks skill that other actresses not have..she is one smart one.

  12. siska said on December 29th, 2014 at 6:21 pm

I think because she is not afraid to use any tool to achieve her purpose.even maybe it hurt others..that’s why I think male like Pitt type find her fascinating. She is wore the pant in that relatioship..thats why maybe the relationship work.

  13. siska said on December 29th, 2014 at 6:25 pm

I find her fascinating, but I prefer my Jen who seem layback and surround by her loyal friends that might be a bit boring to others as my idol…on acting skill and personallity..Jen is better for my opinion.. I watch maleficent.. Not that impress with her acting. I sleep through he he

  14. Guest2 said on December 29th, 2014 at 9:06 pm

I went to see Maleficent at the theater with a group of teenagers and some adults (I had no choice, the kids wanted us to go with them). One of the women in the group commented that AJ is really hard to watch and she’s one who liked her. The movie was dumb and boring.

I thought AJ was good in Girl Interrupted but other than that she’s mediocre. If it were not for Pitt and the 6 kids I don’t think she’d be that big a star today.

I think that celebs who know how to use whatever they have to get ahead in Hollywood are pretty common. It seems that other celebs know enough to draw a line, which they will not cross. They have wisdom enough to know that the price for manipulation will be very high, indeed.
It just seems that AJ was never taught right from wrong. So she goes on breaking the rules of morality, not giving a second’s thought that all of us must pay for every moral transgression. Most of us know that if we subscribed to “The End Justifies the Means” rule of conduct, we are not being wise. But, others do not have that wisdom, and just go on and on, for what seems a lifetime. But, those of us raised by Fear of the Almighty
will not adopt that behavior. If so there would be anarchy as seemingly everyone decides to manipulate to get to their goals. We can be sure that no one is above the laws of the Universal Order of Morality. And that’s why many celebs are not held in so high esteem by observers. They refuse to give up living their sense of right and wrong. They are the wise ones.

Many sites have bloggers who noted that BP would morph into his significant other of the moment. Pictures were published which shows that to be true.

As I said, before, The Los Angeles Times and The Hollywood Reporter, for just two magazines located in the voter-rich area of The Academy, has been pushing AJ for Best Director. This was before the reviews came in; many of which were not flattering to say the least. Nevertheless, the film was widely seen last weekend.
Whether it has “legs”, has yet to be seen.

If you remember, I said way back then, that if one tells an outrageous lie the first time, they will be loudly put down, just as the Hitler youth was back in the ’30s. (Didn’t put it that specifically, but the meaning was clear).
So the liar(s) repeat the lie, over and over. The public doesn’t speak out as it did, before. Eventually, the public believes the lies. You remember we pointed out these last years, that AJ and BP were telling lie after lie. Now, even some bloggers admit that Brangelina has the media in their pocket.

His Highness; We sure lost some big talents this year; more than usual, it seems.
Guess the suicide of Robin Williams was the biggest shocker.
So many big names; Shirley Temple; Mickey Rooney; Joan Rivers, are just a few.

  18. Keane said on December 30th, 2014 at 12:33 pm

Very wise words all round WR – what you say is too true. It is a shame for Angie though that she can manipulate her way through practically anything but winning that which she most desires – a little gold man on a plinth. I am hoping Jen is lucky enough to win this year just to see the look on old competitive, desperately ambitious AJ’s face – it will be priceless!

  19. Keane said on December 30th, 2014 at 7:39 pm

So AJ disappears with “the pox” when she is getting slated in hacked e-mails and reappears again when she hears that she has done good box office – how predictable!

Today, we lost one of the all-time great actresses, when Luise Rainer died. She was 104. Read that she was blacklisted by MGM studio head, Louis Mayer, after her back to back Oscar wins for Best Actress. If I remember correctly, it was because she refused mediocre parts that Mayer demanded of her.

  22. WR said on December 31st, 2014 at 3:52 am

And the media already forgot about the car “accident” earlier this month. It was supposedly timed for the Oscar season. When that didn’t engender the publicity desired, then came the shingles “episode”. Some bloggers reported that she had already had shingles earlier in her life, according to her own account back then.

Now will the Oscars take a giant step backward, and nominate her for Best Director, after the bad reviews; when there are mature and intelligent directors, who don’t have the media clout?

  23. WR said on December 31st, 2014 at 4:06 am

Movie directors choose the Best Director nominees.
The directors of “Boyhood” and “Birdman” are considered locks.
Now, there’s much acclaim for the directors of:
    The Grand Budapest Hotel.
    The Imitation Game.
    The Theory of Everything.
    Mr. Turner.

Less seen, and therefore harder to get the voters’ attention, are:
Nightcrawler. This director greatly deserves a nomination, IMHO!
    American Sniper.
    Into the Woods.
    Gone Girl.

Many times the directors branch will choose to honor a foreign director. So the 5th spot could go to the director of “Ida”, for example.

So, the media darling, AJ is supposed to get a nom, just because she’s who she is? That would indeed set back the Best Director Oscar back quite a bit. They’d lose credibility; esp. with all the worthy candidates out there.

  24. Keane said on December 31st, 2014 at 10:57 am

She won’t get nominated – no way!

  25. Siska said on January 1st, 2015 at 9:18 am

@Guest2:The movie isn’t my cup of tea..but some people and proven by her box office win..they like it.. She seem to have a luck and big fans specially overseas.
I don’t think BP and kid the only one that made her still fascinating..I think she orchestra it by herself..she knew the tricks to pull it. She knew how to deflect any bad press to be positive..
I think she has the movie star aura and she is good in present herself to the media and public..which Jen seem lacking.,Jolie seem more comfortable in talking publicly..Jen seem a bit stiff mostly..but I bet when she is with her inner circle..she seem to be more fun.. Maybe she was burn before by her interview in the past.. I love her old interview.
I notice,,that the negative review of Jen cake performance seem to be arrive ..wonder what or who behind it? He.,he,,very childish…I think both ladies can compete fairly in different spot..if they deserve it.,
I really hope Jolie really actually direct the movie..not just a title only..if she deserve to nominate..she should get it.,but not because of pr reason.
