Jenny and the ess dog is a song found on you tube. My initial guess from looking at the clip is that jennifer’s relationship with Justin Theroux is winding down.

The media’s interest is no longer with her and Justin competing with Brad and Angelina, it is with George and Amal competing with Brad and Angeilina. They form the square.

If they weren’t competing then why would there be a press release on the day, (or day after), of George’s wedding about Angelina buying Brad a very, very expensive watch as a wedding present. It’s certainly a piece of information that they desperately tried to get out there so as to compete with George and Amal’s wedding.

Then there was another article exactly the same time about how Brad has been changed for the best with fatherhood. Now that’s desperate!

…Correction, they form the Rectangle not Square. I think Ian used the word Rectangle because they are “poles apart”

    @LG:
Actually, it was WR who called it a rectangle which is a pretty good description of the two couples. They are poles apart. If there is a PR war I think the Clooneys will win.

Jenny and the Ess Dog is a song about a young woman who dates an older musician and then leaves him to go to college. Ian uses the word Jennifer so I think this is about her too so maybe this is about her relationship with Justin. Here are the lyrics (I think):

Jennifer dates a man in a ’60s cover band
He’s the ess-dog, or Sean if you wish
    She’s 18, he’s 31
    She’s a rich girl, he’s the son
    Of a Coca-Cola middle man

    Kiss when they listen
    To “Brothers In Arms”
And if there’s something wrong with this
    They don’t see the harm
In joining their forces and singing along

See those rings on her toes
Check that frisbee in his Volvo
It’s a Volvo with ancient plates
They’ve got a dog she named Trey
A retriever with a frayed bandana around his neck

Trey has a window into their relationship
    The baby talk voices
And the post class-a nasal drip
But it all seems to function
At least in her dog’s mind

    Let me out of here
    Let me out of here
You got to let me out of here
You got to let me out of here
    Let me out of here
    Out of here
Out of here, out of here
Let me out of here ill hit the ground running

Jennifer left for school up in Boulder
And the Ess-dog came to visit when he could
But the strain was too much
They could not make up for distance
And the distance between their years

    Neither one listens
    To Brothers in Arms
    The ess-dog waits tables
    And he sold his guitar
Jenny pledged Kappa and she started pre-law
And off came those awful toe rings
Off came those awful toe rings

Waving the dead chicken; sounds like Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux since they both are back tracking on getting married. Why get engaged and claim people are putting pressure on you by asking ” When are you getting married? ” The couple is fake and bogus, they never planned on getting married. They just wanted the PR getting engaged would bring.

    @Guest2:
Thanks for printing the words to the song Guest2…….You have to give Jennifer Aniston credit where credit is due. Obviously with all her fertility problems, she would never entrap anyone with a pregnancy.

If it doesn’t work …so be it. She is comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t need our pity

Angelina has rubbed this fertility issue in Jennifer’s face without her responding….Good on Jen…..What Angelina is going to have to face is Amal’s magnetic appearance on the international stage with her incredible sense of fashion..,that is, Amal “gives good fashion”

They are both just as skinny but Angelina wants to come across as a busy humanitarian who is too busy for fashion.

Amal instead rejoices in fashion. She is not a fake. She exhudes warmth and sincerity. Angelina doesn’t. As much as she thinks she is respected and her self promotion is working, it is not. Everytime Angelina jets in for a brief photo shoot in a war ridden country, it won’t have as much impact as it used to.

The inhabitants of the world we live in are alot more savvy about the meaningless actions of celebrities such as “Brangelina”.

I know it appears Brangelina have it all wrapped up, but they don’t. The press they released to coincide with George and Amal’s wedding made them look desperate and way off the mark. The release about the “watch”…big mistake..phoney and ill conceived

I honestly never thought Brad would be that stupid. I always thought he was the one who kept that family together.

    @LG:

Brad is dumb, I believe. It was okay when he was young and pretty but now not so much. Now they are an old married couple with a bunch of kids and there really isn’t anything sexy or mysterious about that. I think that’s why they’re making the movie together, to recapture some of the old, sexy appeal. I think they’re day in the sun is over and if the Clooneys have children they will completely overshadow the brand and they won’t talk stupidly about the children. Ben Affleck was asked in an interview if his kids are excited about him playing Batman. He replied that his son is too young to understand superheroes and his daughters would be excited if he was playing a character in Frozen but don’t really care about Batman. That was a totally normal comment made by a parent who understands children. I wonder what nonsensical response brangie would have given to that question. I agree with you about Jen. She handled herself well throughout the ordeal they put her through.

I know there are rumors about Ben A., but this is at least a couple that most of us parents can relate too. Jen doesn’t go on about him being the best father blah blah like they are the model for parents. Ben gives her credit, and I believe she is a good mom, but he doesn’t make stupid narcissist comments about he is so glad that he chose her to be the mother of his children. Did you read Jen’s great comment about her bump that will be there forever due to each child she had? She comes across as so much more down to earth than a lot of other celebrates.

I thought George Clooney’s congratulation to Pitt and Jolie on their marriage via twitter an insult. Definitely not the appropriate response from a “best friend” of Brad Pitt.

There was an article right after BP and AJ married that stated GC had been shopping around to sell the pictures of his wedding. The article stated that GC’s wedding pictures would have been worth more if BP and AJ had not married several weeks before GC’s wedding. It wold not surprise me if the last minute wedding between BP and AJ was to undermine GC and his wedding. Maybe the over the top wedding pictures and wedding details of GC’s wedding was to piss of BP and AJ.

Does anyone know the magazine sales of BP/AJ wedding vs GC/AA wedding?

    @Guest1:
From what I’ve read, they aren’t “best friends.” Articles have Clooney stating in the past that they saw each other at the most once a year. Brad is the one always making comments about George and in the last several years their lifestyles are probably quite different. I read that entire family visted his Lake Cuomo home and the kids trashed it. Supposedly, Clooney doesn’t like Jolie and has been known to vacation with Jen and her friends. Not saying they’re great friends, but she is known to have been friends with Clooney before Brad. So Brad and Angie have considered themselves as whatever and now here comes GC with a humanitarian lawyer for a bride. George has his own humanitarian projects as well as probably political aspirations and away goes the spotlight.

If I were Clooney, I wouldn’t be happy with the circus. Both Brad and Jolie are known for hogging each others limelight as well as other celebrities. They are always putting out fax’s that aren’t true. Having George and Amal (whom she snubbed at the conference) get married before them wasn’t something they’d want. So they threw together their supposed wedding attempting to take away their spotlight. Brad wasn’t the best man like reported and they weren’t even invited. Brad has made some real snide comments about GC in the past and we know he’s made them about Jen. Brad uses people. Clooney sold the wedding photos for charity with one being a project of his. He may have been attempting to garner support for his project and Brad did or attempted to take away that attention.

If GC is planning on running for office, then he’s not playing around and I doubt if Brad and Jolie are people he and Amal are going to associate with if Brad and Jokie are still doing drugs and whatever else. Not saying GC is an angel, but he isn’t known for having that kind of behavior. If he knows that there is a lot of dirt that may become public about those two, then he may not want to be linked to those two. His comment wasn’t bad it was just cordial.

Not a GC fan, but I like him a lot more than Brad. I may be wrong, but whatever friendship that remained between those two is gone. Jolie doesn’t get along with other women and she was reported to be nasty to GC’s ex on a plane ride.

I don’t know if this is legit, but supposedly the Brand got 2 million for their photos and People hardly sold more than normal for that issue.

This is what I think happened. Clooney has not flaunted his personal life in the past so it was surprising to see all the photos of the beautiful and elegant Venice wedding. I think that was done intentionally and the fact that he then published his marriage certificate confirmed it to me. It seemed almost a taunt to brad like here’s my marriage certificate, now show us yours. Brad can’t do that because either his current marriage isn’t valid or they already married quietly a long time ago. If it’s the latter then Clooney would know and brad’s wedding stunt would have pissed him off for good, I would say. I know that some at FF still think brad was coerced into marrying jolie but I don’t believe that and I think he masterminded the wedding to try and upstage clooney. I also think the buttock fattock wording on her veil was a dig at JA (don’t loons call her fat-ass manny?). I think jolie is emotionally stunted and brad is a jerk. That’s why he’ll never leave her and she’ll never leave him. I doubt Clooney will forget or forgive what brad did. Not smart to piss off the king of Hollywood. I really hope this is the downfall of the brand, they really deserve it.

I tend to believe that Clooney is very smart and knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s been very successful in Hollywood on several levels and doesn’t really need to be a tabloid sensation. Maybe someday we’ll find out why he went so public with the wedding which seemed out of character for him. He has kept a pretty low profile since the wedding.

I agree it was out of character for him. There are several reasons why he sold those photos. One is maybe he did it as a favor for someone like many in business do. He gave to his pet charity project and maybe someone promised to match whatever he garnered through the sale of the photos. I haven’t seen the photo spread. I’m sure he had control of what was published. Whatever, his reason(s), including taunting Brad like you pointed out, I’m sure it pissed the Brange off…..GOOD! :)

GC isn’t a great actor, but he’s been in the business for years. He’s known for his rat-pack look, but he’s not a tabloid king either – just his wedding photos. He’s more hands-on involved with his charity causes than a certain someone else. Do a search for Satellite Sentinel Project. Sure, it could be used for the wrong purposes, but so can most things. I agree with he may be considering a political life, but seeing that you consider him as an actor with “little talent” means he won’t fool you then.

IMO he dated many women, but he was single and was upfront about not being the marrying/parent type. As far as I remember, none of his ex’s threw hissy-fits afterwards. If they had an arrangement that’s his/her business. If he runs for governor, he has that right, and who knows he may turn out okay. Somebody is going to run and at least he’s more involved than a lot of side-chair politicians. With elections coming up, I spend a lot of time looking into is funding the candidate. It can be quite ugly and often their ads show how out of touch with us commoners the candidate’s and their handlers are.

I like Robert Downey Jr., and plan “to see ‘ The Judge’. But in 3003 theaters, it only opened at $13,116,226 and landed in 5th place. THR stated, “In North America, the Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow title debuted to a disappointing $13.3 million for a fifth-place finish.” Deadline statd, “Coming in fifth was Robert Downey Jr.’s legal thriller The Judge, which was likely cannibalized it’s R-rated competition in Gone Girl. Though it scored an A- Cinemascore, it landed smack in the middle of projections, good for fifth place. Its 47% on Rotten Tomatoes could spell trouble for its long-term prospects.” If JA opened a movie with numbers like that, it would be called a bomb. Unfortunately this was not surprising to me.

When Ian started this blog he only talked in riddles when he assumed the persona of Sugar Ray.
I also vaguely remember his posts being what some would describe as quite “scandalous”

I often thought he started only posting in riddles for legal reasons or for his personal safety. I think he once mentioned having to go into hiding because his posts were hitting a nerve.

I think this latest post is putting it out there that George is hot to trot with some kind of career outside of acting (ie politics). He is the only one functioning on “the smell of an oily rag”. Meaning he has the energy to go the long haul with his ambitions, he is unstoppable.

My take is that Brangelina is not a happy couple. They must really get on each other’s nerves, given they’re a brand. There is no passion, there. Separation might just be the best thing they can do for their image.

Have no desire to see “Fury”, but the Brangelina media is building it up, just as they are beating the drums for AJ’s directorial effort. Their media minions are working overtime.
With that in mind, that aforementioned “lack of passion” may not serve them well. The public is not as dumb as we are led to believe. It can detect the phony marriage despite the Brangelina-owned media. NOT! The public is as dumb as ever! The Hitlerian Lie is alive and well!

Yes, I remember the juicy talk about the brand. And the mysterious talk of threats against His Highness.
But there were other details in other sites, such as BP caught being serviced by a young guy by a pool.

There was the photo in a paper showing BP looking at GC as a girl looks at her beau. Really! That disappeared, just like all the photos which proved beyond a doubt that AJ isn’t so beautiful at all.
Then the coloured photo of BP looking admiringly at a very effeminate, young, dark-haired guy. Is that still around?
Scientology must have threatened quite a few bloggers on behalf of TC. If it did, it worked. Again, Brangelina may have learned tactics from this fake church.

As a matter of fact, there are almost no bloggers who do not seem intimidated. Only those who play the Scieno-Brand game are allowed to publish racy material, as long as it’s not about them.

With all the wars on the internet, it’s highly perplexing, imo, to favor anyone in particular. Maybe that’s all orchestrated. At least in the opinion of “P”, my conspirator-oriented good acquaintance. He readily admits to being one, now.

A fourth person admitted he saw a UFO. This person is quiet, and the tall, silent type. He happens to be an African American. And it was local, he said. Only it was closer to our locale, than the others.

Wonder if there are silent observers around here. At the time the UFOs were seen, there had to be many others who could have seen them. It’s just too big a city to have been blacked out.

Ghosts, I’ve seen, but never a UFO. That doesn’t mean that I think they don’t exist. The thought does scare me though since they would have to be way more advanced than us. Are they friendly and/or we just a sideshow for laughs?

I have heard ghosts, but have not seen them.
This is a topic I hadn’t thought of introducing to our crowd. Now, it will be discussed.

My sighting of the UFOs was a long time ago. My neighbors’ was more recent. They separately described what I saw way back then. And I wasn’t the only one to see it. The whole university baseball game audience saw it. They flooded the police department’s lines as reported on the news that evening.
My acquaintances described a large, spherical object. A couple tried to see it clearer with binoculars. They said something thwarted their ability to see detailed outline of the object. They said it zoomed off over the ocean at incredible speed.
We agree that they may be getting closer to contact, and they see the mess of a world we occupy, and are willing to help in some way.

According to tv reports, there are close encounters all over the world.
Still, there are hoaxers out there that must be ignored.

I knew a very respectable man once who said that he saw a UFO when he was in the military on guard duty late at night. I sort of believe they exist because there have been so many sightings but they do scare me a little for the reasons you state, Kitty. I believe in ghosts, too, though I’ve never seen one. There have been times though when I’ve felt an unseen “presence” in my home. I chalked it up to an overactive imagination but still I wonder if it’s the spirit of a dearly departed. They say there’s more to heaven and earth than meets the eye so………

From what I have experienced and seen in my life, I believe there is life after death. I have felt the presence of someone I loved who has passed over and if your senses told you that your loved one was near, then they probably were. It can be a certain odor or warmth that you just know is them.

Not that long ago, BP made fun of GC, publicly. He more than hinted at GC’s sexual orientation. He did this on more than one occasion. Never mind that BP didn’t look at the guy in the mirror. The guy in the mirror lived with a gay man for two years, according to reports back then, and was even reported as so impatient with his lack of progress toward stardom, that he entertained the idea of doing porn. (If I’m not discovered soon, I’m going to do pornography, da–it! *Stomps the ground!*) His gay “benefactor” talked him out of it. Then came “Thelma and Louise” to the rescue.

I wondered at the time, why GC put up with that humiliation. GC can be pretty hard-nosed, after all. Then I remembered the photo of an adoring BP looking at GC as if he was looking at a beau. Then it made sense. If what that photo implied was a reality, then GC’s defenses would be down. But time passed, and BP was now over 50 yrs old, and no longer had the young body a rich man could want.

Re: entities: I will reveal a story told to we counselors about a dozen years ago. The teller was a young man who dabbled heavily into drugs, including alcohol. This was a brilliant young person. He could recite the AA book front to back, verbatim.

After a particularly bad binge, he said he woke up early one morning. He claims he saw the horror of a devil in the room. It was so incredibly evil, that he called upon the name of Jesus, the Christ. He normally didn’t attend church. He said the entity disappeared. He was incredibly shook up! That’s when he sought professional help.

I wouldn’t be surprised if certain celebrities are familiar with demonic beings. Worse, that they accept them, and use their help to climb the ladder of success.

I think the fact that the brand tried to upstage Clooney’s wedding probably ticked him off but there’s probably more to it. It is said that alcohol lowers one’s defense and allows the devil/evil spirits inside. I don’t think an occasional one or even a few drinks will suffice as I believe that actions you’ve taken/are taking in your life also lead a person down his path. I’m sure that at least certain drugs do too. I’m sure that many, including celebrities, politicians, and others with wealth and power have sold their souls in order to get where they are.

Evil is out there. It came for someones soul one night when i was working in a nursing home. We could sense it but couldn’t see it. The woman it came for was terrified and she was a nasty being. She died when my shift ended and i saw a dark figure wearing a hooded robe. My neighbor saw it too. I saw many weird things right before people die but this was the only threatening one. Most are ready to go.

There’s a site called Allnurses.coms which has stories told by nurses and other health workers. One has to type in “Ghost Stories” in the space bar, then click on.
Heretofore, nurses would be silent regarding spirits they have seen or felt. Now, with the internet, they can tell their experiences in the comfort of anonymity.
    It is quite fascinating!

Yes, they do describe the presence of evil spirits. They tell of old people who talk of seeing long departed relatives just before they themselves departed.

I have read some matters of spiritual presence related in the mainstream news back when I served as a hospital worker.
Recently, there was a scientific report that when a person suddenly dies, their physical presence will function for a short while. I kept a clipping about a young person who was instantly killed in an Amtrack train accident.
His relatives began receiving phone calls from him throughout the night. The voice on the phone would start out fresh, and then began to fade out.

I’ve read that departed souls communicate through electricity or electronics so this would make sense. I remember a time shortly after my father died that I was talking on the phone with a friend when a lot of static came on the line and I heard someone call out my name with the unique accent that my father had when he said my name. It was really freaky but since that time I’ve come to believe that we live on and all that dies is the body.

“Fury” didn’t get a rave review, locally. Our newspaper critic in this, one of America’s biggest cities, gave it a negative review. But a local moviegoer, aged 67, liked it. He would not, however, recommend it for those under age 18.

There is video out there that shows it, I think. But I also saw a photo of her in a 2-piece bathing suit where she looked like she could be in early stages of pregnancy so who knows what the truth is. This post is about MARKETING A PRODUCT. Colors are used to affect emotions when marketing a product. The trio used the triangle in competitive marketing from ‘05 through, I would say, 2013 to market their brands. Competitive marketing benefits both products. Ian said they were all microphonies (I think it was a Dec 2011 post about the three stoogies).

BRAND RECOGNITION = colors and emotions
TEST TO ANALYSE CONTINUOUSLY CHANGING VALUES AND DISCRETE PATTERNS = mixed signal oscilloscope
PROGRAM MODIFICATION SPYWARE TO REMOVE UNDESIRABLE FEATURE = wondershare mobilego crack
J/JTx INEVITABLE BREAKUP = Jennifer and the ess man

AN EFFORT TO SOLVE A PROBLEM BUT THE EFFORT IS EXPECTED TO BE FUTILE/JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY TRIED = waving a dead chicken
NOT COMPATIBLE = mixing wrong coolant

The undesirable feature is JTx because the song has the female with the money not wanting the ess man anymore. He’s the pest or the unwanted. The problem is the inevitable break-up because it can resurrect the triangle from the dead, but it’s not selling the products anymore.

No fidelity fund certificate literally means no faithful authenticity. No faithfulness to a person or cause.

bride fakes cabs – the band presented their music with a fake speaker, so there was no real music at all. The cabs (or speakers) were fake. Though I think both the recent nuptials were lavender, I believe this reference would be to JP.

WEDDING SHAM = no fidelity fund certificate
BRIDE A PROP = bride fakes cabs
MANIPULATED FIGURES IN A MUSICAL FANTASY ADVENTURE = puppet of the labyrinth

The clue “George is on deep fish” is a bit confusing. George is On is a 2005 album by Deep Dish. At first I thought “fish” might be a type-o. I think fish has referred to AJ in previous riddles. Or else this means that George is in the game as deep as the fish. The definition of “on” is continuing a movement or action.

I believe this means George is continuing the game far down or intensely against the fish/AJ.

GEORGE CONTINUING THE GAME = George is on deep fish
ABSOLUTE MINIMUM INVESTMENT (easily because he doesn’t like AJ anyway?) = smell of an oily rag
HE IS THE EXTERMINATOR (who gets rid of the pest/the unwanted) WHO DISCOVERS THE TRUTH AND LENDS HIS SKILLS IN AN AMERICAN HORROR SERIES = who is the rat catcher in the strain
Did the triangle become a square?

    tag: JP

The television program The Strain premiered in the US on July 13, 2014. This is the same day that Hague resigned his position as foreign secretary. This is relevant, imo.

I think it means that the competitive marketing of the square became a necessity in mid-July with Hague’s resignation. (I think Hague was the “she’s on remote” from Ian’s tweet around Feb 2013). He’s been calling the shots, imo, in whatever nefarious activity these people have been involved. I agree with Deanne – there is something. I’ve felt this since back in mid-’11.

And the “wedding” left JA in a relationship that began as “pain relief” when BP decided that Moneyball would be the WHIP and determine the beginning/end. (From the “Prissy and Pink” riddle from the fall of 2011).

George steps in to help her get out. And it may be a reason why JP were not in Venice. Can’t very well create a marketing square if they are celebrating the nuptials.

My feeling was that he had what it takes to continue being a strong up-and-comer if he would just cool it!

Again, the similarities to TC and BP. There has been a lot of discussion on the internet about “Top Gun” being a love story. Now, that was a big hit for TC. TC’s character’s love interest being Val Kilmer’s character.

Often wonder if TC gave BP a strong lecture during their co-starring in “Interview with a Vampire’. We recall that TC was a flamboyant type early in his career. Then he got a part opposite Sean Penn. It’s been reported that Penn gave TC a stern lecture about how to behave if he wanted to be a big star. Shortly, thereafter, TC joined the Scieno cult, and some members purged TC’s gay magazine photos and interviews.
It was further reported that TC then started to single out any gay workers on his sets, and made fun of them.
Some insider on the set probably has some juicy things to say if an enterprising reporter got them to talk.
Won’t be surprised if that was already processed by their minions, and any probable blogger would be threatened.

Censorship; It’s all over society. It certainly is practiced in Hollywood. There’s only certain things they’re allowed to say, if they want to continue working in the industry.

Of course, anything bad said about Christianity is allowed, and even encouraged. I saw an old movie, and was enjoying it, until a leading actor cursed the name of Jesus, the Christ. I quit watching immediately, because if I continued, I’d be giving my approval of that movie star’s cursing the Holy Name.

He’s probably aware of the innumerable lies associated with Brangelina. How could he not? Funny people see through a lot of BS. Joan Rivers did. Robin Williams did. Richard Pryor did. OT; Re: Renee Zellwegger: She has endured a hell of a lot of cyber bullying because of her natural looks. Now, she is getting reams of copy because she had them changed.

Here’s the thing: The bullying got to her. She is a Taurus. That’s the toughest sign, as far as bullying being not successful goes. It’s because Taureans are noted for being very stubborn. So I thought she’d dig in psychologically. But the bullies kept at her on the numerous gossip sites. They, of all people should be sensitive to why minorities try to look white. Now the minorities see other whites making fun of what Mother Nature gave to one of their own. Now, I think that I, or one, should have written to RZ, and told her she is beautiful just as she is; She is unique; so make it, her eyes, her own beauty trademark.

Another thing: Asian women have been known to have eyes nips and tucks, so they can look occidental. They have been influenced by the Western Movies racial propaganda. The Barbie doll look has its influence all over.
South of the border, it’s the same.

    JMO!

If she’s happy, that is the main thing.

“Walk a mile in my shoes”. That came to mind, as I pictured RZ enduring cyber-bullying from the very same people (media types) who should know how it is to be bullied.
    (JA knows!)
Anyway, it would be too much for a lone person to be constantly pecked at. Man or woman; we would be far too outnumbered by the cowards. And, bullies are cowards; that’s no lie!

Here in America, we are getting ready for the much-anticipated mid-term elections. The pundits claim the GOP will make a success of all the anger, by the electorate, directed at the Democratic Party.

We notice that Sarah Palin, McCain, et al, are rather subdued, lately. “Don’t rock the boat?”.

Reports that conservatives are thwarting blacks and other minorities right to vote are not as prominent, as usual. Are they purposely biding their time, until the next election?

Read that the GOP is grooming Jed Bush to run in the next presidential election is not news to us. (However, some die-hard democrats I’ve spoken to, seemed to be in denial about his potential). Well, it’s still early.

This, I’ve noticed: Many democrats don’t want Hillary to run. I can’t figure that one out. They don’t seem to realize that if Jeb Bush is selected by the GOP, despite his lack of experience, why reject Hillary, simply because of name familiarity?

A week from now, we will have much listening to do.

I really don’t know much about RZ, but I’ve enjoyed watching the movies she has been in. Her hooded eyes were one of the things she was known for, but from what little I have read, there are some people defending her due to knowing people who have had to have the procedure done since with time their eyesight became impaired (hooded lids). I haven’t read her reasons for doing so, but it doesn’t really matter. I’ve known a lot of people who have had work done and if it boosts their self-esteem then so what? I’ve never had anything done, but who knows what the future will bring.

OMG! I thought this interview was HILARIOUS! I mean, it was one of my all-time favorites. Seriously. lol. Brad was DEFINITELY on board, without a doubt. He was SPOT ON in his humor … after seeing Fury, I believe he was sort of “in character,” and some of the things he did were things his character did in the movie. OMG. I have watched this over and over and just cry laughing. It actually made me like Brad again. :D

Oh, and BTW … as stated above, I did see Fury because I actually like BP as an actor. (Not a popular choice on this site, but, oh well.) It was, for the most part, a really GOOD movie. Only one scene ruined it for me, but it did what it set out to do: showed the HORRORS of war. The acting was impressive pretty much all across the board. Certainly NOT a feel good movie, and the theatre was silent at the end. It took people a few moments to gather themselves to leave the theatre. I thought that was a good sign, that the movie successfully moved people to THINK. Don’t like to toot BP’s horn, but his character roles are evolving … as they should.

I admit that I don’t like Pitt, but I’ll be honest and say that I would’t see the movie no matter what actor starred in the film. I don’t like war movies to begin with, especially those that are graphic. I also usually only go and watch movies that need to be seen at the theater (in IMAX). That means that I haven’t seen a JA film at the theater nor have I seen all her movies, especially Marley & Me because of the dog (sniff, sniff).

I agree with you that the bullying has been terrible. I like RZ and think she’s pretty either way. She might have put some of the bullying to rest though if she admitted to having the eye surgery as it’s pretty evident she did. My mother (who is much, much older than her) has drooping eyelids and it’s impaired her vision so maybe Renee had the same problem. I hate to think that she did it because of the meanness toward her before the surgery. It must be very difficult to be a female in hollywood these days. They are always the targets of such hateful bullying and the men don’t seem to get it as much, not that they should.

Brad isn’t convincing as a manly man, to me. His ego is so gargantuan, that he expects people to melt upon seeing him. Some of us are not that way; but he doesn’t notice. He’s a true narcissist. It’s all about him!

HIs choice of movie material, as a producer/actor is directed at Academy voters. Really deep!
Some African American Oscar voters said publicly, that there were better movies to vote for, than “12 Years a Slave”. Others mentioned they didn’t want a movie to be rewarded that showed abuse of African Americans at the hands of brutal whites, just so the white moviegoers can be entertained.

I don’t think Brad Pitt served a day in the American Armed Forces. Not a day!

Maybe they’re too “Waspy” for them. They forget there are many non-whites who go to movies, and enjoy the efforts of those men.

IMO, he is a narcissist if not a sociopath. There are different types of sociopaths. He goes from being an expert at one thing and then he’s all the sudden an expert at something else. We are talking areas that normally take people years to become knowledgeable in along with an education. In reality he just attaches himself to someone who is an expert and then takes the credit. Then there’s his in your face lies about how he drives his kids to school and blah blah blah. The guy doesn’t appear to have a conscience and sociopaths actually believe their own lies.

Exactly! And now he’s been targeting the Oscar voters, by choosing material he feels are sure-fire! Very manipulative; because, he’s counting on the “herd mentality” of the voters, based on their history. And, it certainly is there.

    Btw,
Harvey Weinstein is the “go to” person if a performer wants the gold statuette. He got the last one for Meryl Streep, when it looked certain that the African American community would finally have a good shot at a second Best Actress Oscar, for their own. She, Viola Davis, had won Best Actress at the Screen Actors Guild awards. No wonder she felt good about her chances. But, all of a sudden, (during the voting period), “someone” put it to the media, that African Americans were only relegated to play maids. Part B, was that “Meryl Streep” hadn’t won an Oscar in over 30 years!” Anyone who can think could/would repudiate that notion; if only based on the facts.
For example, There are many worthy actors/actresses who have never even won one Oscar in their career.
    (That’s only 1 counter-argument!)

To see a married man in woman’s clothing for show, is funny, indeed.
Have you ever seen a hypnotist in a public forum? He’d invite football player type young men up on stage, and hypnotize them. Then, he’d tell them to pirouette like a ballerina, which they did.

They are comfortable in their own skin. I, myself, could never understand why any male would do that, but it’s innocent stuff. In San Francisco, there was a showplace called FINNOCHIO’S up near the Italian area of the city. They had men do shows dressed as women. They were always a big hit with people from small towns in the boondocks.

Chose that, because when it came to facing it, my religion forbade killing a human being.

In my neighborhood, dogs are everywhere, on leashes. All kinds. And they are family to their owners. When one goes missing, the wanted sign may say something like, “He’s my darling baby boy!”; or, if it’s a cat, it has a human name, and the owner using extremely affectionate language. These pets help to extend human lives on many occasions.

Celebrities usually may be seen in the touristy areas, once in a while. I saw names like Jackie Chan, Jackie Mason and Nicholas Cage. One doesn’t bother them. It’s similar to New York, in that way.

It’s very dangerous to walk alone at night if one is white. Avoid The Tenderloin night, or day, no matter what color one may be. There are other places to avoid, but one can get that information easily enough.
It’s probably better to find out all this before going to that beautiful city.

As long as Brangelina owns the media, we will continue to see “news” about them that no one but loonies can relate to, or care about.

As I related in the past, I personally know a few narcissists. I found out one type cannot take strong criticism.
It doesn’t matter if one has no hate, but stays firm in telling them what they may have done wrong. Probably none of Brangelina’s friends/acquaintances has the courage to be firm with them, or tell them when they’re way out of line, when they continue to attack the victims they themselves created.

I don’t know if GC is a masochist, but he was publicly made the butt of BP’s jokes, when he more than hinted at GC’’s sexuality. GC did nothing about it. That’s understandable, but to stay BFs?
I thought then, that GC would make fun of BP’s own sexual peccadilloes. And BP is now about 51 years old. Not the pretty boy, any more. So was BP jealous of GC knowing someone younger, and just had to meow?

WR is correct that you need to be careful in the city. The Wharf isn’t as nice as it used to be due to the homeless situation. Many of the areas smell like urine :( . The Presidio is gorgeous and I just love the view of the Golden Gate. Many of the celebrities are spread throughout the region. I used to be afraid I’d see Sean Penn when I drove through the area around Ross (I believe he’s left the area). Summer is the coldest time to visit, but we have awesome sunsets. :(

I can’t compare the two climates since I don’t remember much about Boston (was a young child). I’d love to visit the city though since I love history. In fact, I’d love to tour the entire east coast and the New Orleans area. :)

SF climate can quickly change due to the fog situation. The fog is known as the natural air conditioner as it great for the inland areas over the hills where it can be over a 100 during the day. If you’re downtown and surrounded by the high-rises then in many places you won’t be hit by the wind. The fog comes in with the wind and it is a damp cold. We’d go to watch the fireworks on the fourth and the morning would be nice. However, way before sunset everybody is watching the Golden Gate Bridge and hoping that the fog will hold off until after the fireworks. Many times it will, but then one night you’re watching a display of colorful fog (if you’re even that lucky). :(

The Napa Valley is beautiful and the little town of Mendocino is a great visit.
