“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”

Interesting. Thanks Ian, for the fresh topic.
Hukilau: Hawaiian way of fishing where everyone shares in the catch.
Giant Hornets: China under attack from Giant Asian Hornets. China is ground zero.
World’s Fair 2014: To be held in NYC. Isaac Asimov’s predictions made in 1964 for this year’s WF2014 many of which proved to be quite accurate. Isaac said, “Men will continue to withdraw from nature in order to create an environment that will suit them better.”

Thanks Ian. I thought it would be easier, since the clue is shorter…but it wasn’t. Nevertheless, this is what I found:
Power concedes nothing- is the title of a book by Connie Rice about one woman’s quest for social justice in America. ~Is this how joLIE sees herself?
Visit to the worlds fair 2014- Is something Isaac Asimov wrote for the WF 1964 w/predictions for the WF 2014. The theme for ‘64 was “Peace thru understanding”. ~Is this about the JP’s?
Ban Hammers- Anti cheating software for video games
Gigantic Hornets- Known as yak killers becuz they inject a large amt of venom. ~Is joLIE a yak killer?
Missing a night of sleep- After 3 days of no sleep a person starts to hallucinate, clear thinking is impossible, lose grasp of reality…Easy to be brainwashed/manipulated. ~Is this about Brad?
Whut? Thee Album- No idea about this…1st song on album is Psycho Ward. ~could it be that obvious?
    Nicene Creed- Believe in God.
Going to a hukilai!!!- It is a way of fishing w/net…but it’s also a fun song that made me feel happy :) and now I have a craving for fried rice w/cabbage, pineapple and spam!

    @Up the Coast:

The shorter riddles are never easier!

The scroll says: are u ready

I would think this means something is coming.

the ban hammers – anti cheating software and
gigantic hornets – injecting large amounts of venom…both make me think of the media or planting/leaking something in the media

hukilai is a way of fishing with a net, often is a shared group activity, where the net is filled with leaves and the fish is LURED in

The full quote of “power concedes nothing” is a quote by Frederick Douglass who, after he escaped slavery, led the abolitionist movement.

The 1964 “visit to the world’s fair in 2014″ was written in Brad’s birth year and was a prediction for the future. So I would conclude this is a prediction for Brad’s future, or at least the near future.

    Reply
  9. rushdog said on January 15th, 2014 at 1:13 am

Oops…BP’s birth year is ‘63. But it was still a prediction.

Could this have anything to do w/the Oscar race? Throwing the net; to lure Oscar the fish in (that’s not why it’s called Oscar but an oscar is a type of fish. If the quote is supposed to be Douglass that”s about slavery so maybe the movie? Just an idea to consider.

Sounds pretty good to me. I’m wondering if “power concedes nothing” is to mean AJ won’t give up without a fight? And in that case possibly “going to be a hukilau” could mean ” a large number of family & friends work together for a common purpose. All who participate can share the catch. Angie is fighting to the death, giving no quarter, while Brad’s family and some close friends are attempting to take the catch from her as she’s not working with them. Sounds like possibly Brad is going to make a run for it this year. My guess anyway. @Up the Coast:

The funniest yet: oh oh 1964 so this MUST be about Brad Pitt because that’s when he was born. Oh, wrong year but STILL it must be about Brad Pitt because, well, you know because it MUST be. LOL!

Sorry. Didn’t mean to spoil the fun. Carry on.

Visit to the world’s fair of 2014: jenn is pregnant with brad’s baby!
Ban hammers: joLIE is starving herself and shooting heroin between her toes in between affairs
Gigantic hornets: Brad is gay! And bi! And possibly cthulthu!
Missing a night of sleep effects: Feeling sleepy = nodding off = jolIE’s heroin addiction
Whut the album: I have no idea what I’m saying but I’ll just throw it out there and you bored ladies will read something into it and this thread will have 600 comments that are mostly recipes
Nicene creed: Aniston is my shepherd, I shall not want

Ian has entertained us with these clues for some years now. And we are in it for fun !! No one is obsessed by Brad or Angelina. Perhaps some guests were obsessed in the beginning but they have left since they didn´t get the scoop they wanted. And it´s also fun that the clues still tell something about Brangelina. We have learnt a lot about them and that makes the clues easier to understand at the same time we can turn the words around a little more. Try it yourself ! Let´s see if you are a good pretzel !

I didn’t go thru the Asimov predictions (there might be a clue there) because if we are supposed to keep it simple, it could just be that the “numerous predictions” are the clue.
Just skimming the clues….A woman’s (joLIE) social justice, numerous predictions, anti-cheating, large amts of venom, losing sleep, psycho ward, believe in God, group activity (something that effects the group).

Dear, what IS your problem? You cannot handle even the notion of independent thought. Does everyone have to agree with you and your imaginings? I am interacting respectfully and having fun just like you. Of course I don’t say disgusting things about people I don’t know like you regularly do. Nor do I call posters jerks for simply disagreeing with me and having fun doing it.

I’d say just the opposite about who is and who isn’t obsessed. Old time posters who left may have just moved on so I don’t know why you would call them obsessive. It’s only common sense to see the posters who are obsessive are the ones who still come here every day and continue to imagine things about 2 celebrities who they claim to hate – and some of the most vulgar imaginings I have seen on any celebrity site. What is the matter with you?

I get Ian because he has a role to play and he loves to play it to the hilt and have fun with it like he has been doing for 20 years. Ian may be careless at times but he has never seemed mean spirited to me in the least. But some of you – not all – are not about fun no matter how much you pretend to be – for you this is serious and your inexplicable anger is palpable. For those of us who just drop in to visit and comment once in a while it’s either amusing or scary.

To each his own. Be well and carry on.

Dear Unidentified Person Hiding Behind The Nic “Anonymous”, it is difficult to take anything you say seriously when you choose to hide behind that moniker, but I think I understand why you do it. It makes you feel important and validated to be able to assert your ego on strangers who express an opinion without attacking other posters. It’s pleasurable for you if you can ignite a war of words with someone you read religiously on a blog, most likely because it’s the only place where you feel people HAVE to read your opinion, or should I call them “attacks”? In either case, it’s your life, spend it as you wish, but don’t expect to win friends nor influence people with your arrogance and haughtiness – you haven’t earned that right. Now post your opinions of the topic, not the posters please – it’s called respectful and adult posting. @anonymous:

Let´s leave “Anonymyous” behind ! Since the clue hasn´t any tags it´s not necessarily about Brangelina. The words power, China, Hukilau, Word Fair 2014 make me think of Obama. The book UTC referred to is about social equality and 2014 is an election year. Obama travels a lot and probably miss a nights sleep now and then. The republicans perhaps think Obama hallucinates when he says something, Perhaps they think the president needs psych ward when a new president enter the stage (”whut the album”). Since I´m not a US citizen i don´t have any political views on the clue. It´s just Ian´s choice of words. A horrible thought – perhaps AJ will candidate to be the new president !

If IAN is going to change the subject of these riddles, then he better tell us so! IMO every riddle he’s put out since back in ‘09 has been about the trio (BP, AJ, JA) except for maybe the first (which I think he put out clue by clue – the MD/CZJ thing?). He then started with the riddles because of the book and the information he couldn’t/wouldn’t put in plain English.

Because of the Frederick Douglass quote I believe that this is still about the trio. The quote is from the anti-slavery movement and from a longer quote about no struggle/no freedom. (Even if you consider that “Power Concedes Nothing” refers to the memoir by the civil rights attorney, the idea still flows in the same direction).

Following this is “visit the world’s fair in 2014 which is a prediction for life in 2014. So I’m guessing this:

Prediction for life in 2014 after the anti-slavery movement (TYAS campaign and Oscars; end of The Brand [see Ian’s previous post and my guess “….Since early 2009 Jen and her men have been TIED to Brad who has been CHAINED in a secret underground fight club…”]

AN ATTEMPT AT MEDIA SUPPRESSION AND CONTROL = movement to forbid the use of destructive tools (ban hammers)

AN INCIDENT REVEALED = East Asian “outbreak” with a potent venom (gigantic hornets)

AN ILLNESS = tired, irritable, no appetite, not fatal (missing a night of sleep effects)

AN INCREDIBLE, BLOW YOUR MIND DEBUT = September 1992 debut album w/Blow Your Mind as most popular single (whut, thee album)

AN ENGAGEMENT OR CONVERSION = a profession of faith to unify (Nicene Creed)

A FESTIVE GATHERING/WEDDING? = a festive beach gathering/family & friends throw the fishing net (going to a Hukilau)

    the tag: none

Hey guys! It has been a while since I have checked in. Glad to finally see another post from Ian. Unfortunately I don’t have anything to contribute right now. I’m not good with these riddles.

Tonight is the Critics Choice Movie Awards and BP is not in the audience. Lupita Nyong’o won for best
supporting actress. I didn’t see ‘12 Years a Slave’, but I thought she was well poised in her acceptance speech and she seems genuine and looked beautiful. She mentioned the other actresses nominated for best supporting actress, but did not mention Oprah! When it was announced that she won the camera kept panning to Oprah, but as soon as Lupita forgot to mention her, they stopped panning to Oprah. I lost a lot of respect for Oprah when she made a comment that entire generations of racists are going to have to die for racism to end.

I wonder if AJ will show up at Sundance:

I think so, too, especially if the blind about the actor on the plane having withdrawal is about brad. It seems his drug use goes back years and not just pot, it’s rumored he did heroin with juliette. He knew what jolie’s drug issues were when he hooked up with her (at age 40) and he went there anyway. He “chose” a frikkin junkie to be the mother of his children and bragged about it, the man is a damn fool. He’s 50 years old now with 6 kids, I’d say it’s time to grow the eff up and get himself clean. He’s got a good support network in his family and, despite what some at FF say, I think he still has friends in hollywood who would help him get clean and break free from the witch. But, like all addicts, he has to want to do it.

Unfortunately I don’t think the majority of those in the industry have morals. Did you see the Golden Globe tribute to Woody Allen? I was surprised they would give him a tribute when I watched it. The following was taken from CNN.com:

You know that tribute to Woody Allen’s lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes on Sunday night? Well, it left out one tiny detail, says his son.

“Missed the Woody Allen tribute,” Ronan Farrow tweeted, “did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?”

That’s a reference to Allen’s adopted daughter, Dylan, who accused the director of molesting her 20 years ago.

Thaks for the info. Unfortunately my bronchitis decided to kick up again, so I went to bed early and missed it. As for Oprah, yes, her comment that “an entire generation will have to die before racism will end” turned my stomach. To some idiots, it will be taken as a call to attack anyone they perceive as racist. Not a smart move on Oprah’s part, but then, she’s done many things that are shocking, but she gets away with them. So she thinks one more generation and racism will end? After ONE-HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY + years of freedom she still wants more people to DIE? Ridiculous. When I watch BBC America on television, I don’t see any skin tones whatsoever. Everyone speaks pretty much the same, the gestures are easily understood as they are more or less universal. The people all assimilated into that nation’s society and have melded into one. The difference here in the U.S. is that many who come here want to bring with them their nations and set it up on American soil. We have “Little Havana”, “Little Mexico”, and of course the entire socio-network of those who have never set foot on African soil yet demand to be known as African-Americans. I wonder how many have a drop of Africa in their DNA over One-Hundred-Fifty years of freedom in the U.S. Okay, I’m off my soapbox. Oh BTW, I am not racist, do not believe in separation of ethnic class, but I do believe some groups prefer to think of themselves as “different from” and demand by use of that word (you know the one) special considerations.@Guest1:

UTC, I think your comment below is the best so far. This clue is really hard since it just seems like words that are put together in a random way. I can imagine an angry Angelina is like a gigantic hornet but Ian probably has something else in mind.

“I didn’t go thru the Asimov predictions (there might be a clue there) because if we are supposed to keep it simple, it could just be that the “numerous predictions” are the clue.
Just skimming the clues….A woman’s (joLIE) social justice, numerous predictions, anti-cheating, large amts of venom, losing sleep, psycho ward, believe in God, group activity (something that effects the group)”

And missing a nights sleep effects could be like a drug. At least Daily Mail makes it sound in that way.

Excesses: drinking, drugging, traveling, working, promoting could lead up to a required intervention and rehab for one or both. Brad’s been drunk (or drugged) more than sober these past two years especially, and Angie is not using good decision making processes and is more psychotic than normal (for her) judging by her parading those uneven/unequal implants like headlights on a bus, and her rail thin frame. Neither looks or acts healthy.

A friend suggests IAN switch from riddles to Blind Items as it’s better than doing ambiguous riddles. Actually in over six years not one speculation has been identified by Ian as 100% correct. Anyone’s guess is as good as anothers, because we are ALL just guessing. At least with a Blind Item, we will know the facts but not the identity of the person, which will protect IAN as it does for others using that format. What do you think IAN?

When the camera panned to him at the SAG awards, he looked like he was expecting to be crowned king of show biz when TYaS got the ensemble prize.

Btw, the reason for the latter film’s lack of solid support, (despite the big push that it gets from The Los Angeles Times), is that hollywood was accused of not showing slavery as it really was. Well, that proved to be a false statement because Hollywood has presented slavery in its brutal forms, with shows like “Roots”, and many other films.

The downside is hollywood’s guilt. So even though there’s a better film to consider, (”American Hustle”) they may just give Best Picture to “12 Years a Slave” in order to deflect any charges of racism. I, for one, hope they don’t do so even though it would be “politically correct”.

Back to the clue for a moment. Is this the essence of World Fair 2014 in Ian´s eye ? Here is a quote from http://www.tested.com.

” Why were so many predictions of the 1950s and 1960s so wrong? Asimov and other futurists expected better of humanity. ”

If so I think it´s right. The humanity ignores all thoughts of fairness and acts in an selfish way when it
come´s to how we share the good things on earth. It´s not like the “Whut thee album” where people came together for fun. Very few cares about the “Nicene Creed” and we seldom share equal like they do in ” Hawaii when they go to Hukilau. Angelina ought to solve these problems in her work for a better world.

    http://www.tested.com/tech/concepts/459076-isaac-asimov-2014-worlds-fair/

Does Ian blame his own failed predictions on humanity ? Have the ban-hammers and giant hornets disturbed his thoughts ? Some very deep thoughts from me !

Never in the history of any nation has one word (racism) held so very much power. Now that the balance of the races in the U.S. are changing with the Hispanic taking the place of the Negro – how will that affect the power of that word? Just wondering. Evolution usually brings changes, but in the One-Hundred-Fifty-Plus years since President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation freeing Negro slaves has there truly been any evolving? I’m a swing-voter and I’ve never heard that King was a Republican (family is mostly Republican) so I had to look it up. Of course, the bit about Ronald Reagan is probably why I never heard much as at least one of my parents must have just about lost it when the speech below was given. If he was truly into equality, then I believe he wasn’t attached to any certain party. I’m not trying to argue with you and you probably won’t like what is below, but they are his own words (except for Snopes which I found first, then led me to look further). Truth be told, is there is bad on both sides of the political arena and are led by special interests.

A commonly circulated item about Martin Luther King which is not included in this list is the claim that King was a Republican. Such claims are based purely on speculation; King himself never expressed an affiliation with, nor endorsed candidates for, any political party, and his son, Martin Luther King III, said: “It is disingenuous to imply that my father was a Republican. He never endorsed any presidential candidate, and there is certainly no evidence that he ever even voted for a Republican.”

National Labor Leadership Assembly for Peace
    Chicago, Illinois, November 11, 1967
“Now what are some of the domestic consequences of the war in Vietnam? It has made the Great Society a myth and replaced it with a troubled and confused society. The war has strengthened domestic reaction. It has given the extreme right, the anti-labor, anti-Negro, and antihumanistic forces a weapon of spurious patriotism to galvanize its supporters into reaching for power, right up to the White House. It hopes to use national frustration to take control and restore the America of social insecurity and power for the privileged. When a Hollywood performer, lacking distinction even as an actor [Ronald Reagan], can become a leading war-hawk candidate for the presidency, only the irrationalities induced by a war psychosis can explain such a melancholy turn of events.” (Applause)

After the 1964 Republican National Convention:

Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, back when Republicans were the kinder gentler party. Lincoln was responsible for abolishing slavery, and modernizing the economy. He was a great man. Sometime after his death though, the party began to change, and while capitalizing on free market, became more focused on business. Gradually it became the party it is today. More about rights, less about humans.

I suppose it’s so close to a person’ s heart they feel they must defend it….but everything changes with time. Just as Pep pointed out the Republican party has evolved into what it is today, so has the Democratic party under Obama’s leadership morphed nearly into Socialism. ( remember Margaret Thatcher’s comment as Prime Minister of UK? “Socialism is great – Untill you run out of other people’s money”….) As it’s been in history, and now in our time, it will be in the future. There are so many variables to things for anything to remain the same with the passing of time. I’m also in the swing vote section of politics.

Patty Anne: Alas, the people are too skittish to discuss any racial topics. Let’s see who come to the meetings. At one meeting, it’s made of about 50 males of all ages and 99 percent, caucasian. The topics are quite diversified, but we vote on them. For example, the lead member takes suggestions. The topics are voted on and one may vote for more than one topic. We usually have time (almost two hrs.) to discuss one, or two topics. The members don’t normally vote for anything to do with race, if it’s brought into the mix.

The second group; I’ve left that one. It’s too much of an “in-crowd” group for me. And I suspect it’s racist.

The third group is very casual. Mostly causcasian, but that includes three sicialians. And two don’t get along with one another. It ivolves about a dozen people, and more join as some leave. It can be heated, as some have been in show biz with their talent, and one in particular loves to gossip about the seedier things he observed about superstars of the day, as he was a musician.
Now, this group may tackle racism. It’s the most interesting group, to me, because they’ll discuss almost anything. One, would you believe, is a conspiratorial fanatic.
Don’t always go to the 50-member meeting, as it’s not as interesting.

I don’t think anything can be worked out without discussing it. Otherwise those who have opposing views will simply dig in and refuse to ponder anything. As long as we keep in mind to be respectful of one another’s pov and not resort to childlike name calling rather than using our intelligence to debate our differences, nothing will ever get better for everyone. Comprimise is always the solution to every problem, but getting opposing sides to agree to that is usually the problem.@WR:

I completely agree that there is bad on both sides of the political arena. As for snopes, I’m afraid they have a left leaning agenda to promote, and I don’t mean that in a bad way (since I am a Dem) just that most media seem to be ‘on the take’. So when we try to look at how we got from there to here….on this day in history, I find myself questioning the “historical road” that the Dems keep promoting, cuz it’s not the way I remember it…and I’ve been around for over 50 yrs of it :) Many of the changes have not been for the betterment of mankind, imo.

She sounded a little star struck to me in her speech about making a movie with brad pitt. The daughter of a friend of mine (early 20’s) loves pitt so I think he still has some movie-star appeal to the younger generation of women. He seems to have a fondness for much younger women and he probably has formidable charm when he has his sights set on someone. We, of course, know better.

That is why I left Snopes and looked at other websites. The rest was taken from his own speeches. I also copied and pasted the text of his words into Google for verification. We’ve been around about the same amount of time and we each take things from our own life-paths. That is why people should discuss things as Patty Anne has said. How can we learn unless we open our minds to others experiences and opinions? My family was not open to discussion about much of anything, but I have learned from life.

Not WR, but here is my two cents.

Ted Casablanca had blind vices about Trent Spent, who was guessed to be Brad Pitt. Here are some of his posting on Trent Spent:

One Luxurious Blind Vice – April 2005

BRAD PITT 24X36 COLOR POSTER PRINT For those of you out there who are sick of the same-sex Vices, hey, just write me an extra-vitriolic email (I can take it) and wait for next week’s installment, ‘kay? Otherwise, read room-service-ready on.

Trent Spent is rich as he is horny. He’s also as talented as he is successful in love. T.S. recently busted up with his significant other, Divella Sniffella, a heterosexual woman who was tired of dealing with Trent’s sexual preferences, which didn’t always happen to include her.

Funny. While Spent’s friends are busy amongst themselves with gossipy gab trying to figure out just which babely honey has replaced Divella, Trent’s been down south laughing at them all.

No, not down in Mexico. Not that far. Maybe halfway or so. At a luxury spot frequented by stars who like to let it all hang out–and then some.

You see, this red-hot enclave has developed such a reputation for protecting the percolating peccadilloes of movie stars that those salty celebs have become something close to lax once they arrive. Like, maybe, for ince, Trent not hiding the fact that he regularly romps around on those down duvets with other dudes. Down, boys! Those delish manly meetings are makin’ the maids talk. A lot!

One Secret Suck-Face Blind Vice – June 2005

Trent Spent should stop by to the following friskiness (as he likes a roll in the homo hay, from time to time), but alas, word might get out that he’s not actually as
superhetero as the box-office-supporting public likes to think. Bummer.

Because these private get-downs up in the Hollywood Hills are becoming the place to hitch a ride on the same-sex bus to bonk heaven! Translation: orgies. For men only. Got it, Gracie? Good. Get out a couple of Trojans and trudge on:

Up until recently, these semi-private poof-poundings have been harder to get into than Katie Holmes’ privates. But that appears to be changing, as certain regular guests (all of whom must be big-ish in the Biz, to insure privacy) have begun inviting lesser mortals.

Pete Poked is not happy to learn of these dangerous circumstances. As he and those of his in front of the camera have far more to lose–should the newbie commoners run screaming about their sweaty discoveries.

I have noticed Brad’s picadillos are kept better hidden than Angie’s are lately. There was a story out this past Autumn that Angie and her lesbian lover of the past TEN YEARS has broken up which put her into a mental spin. That’s longer than she’s been “with” Brad. Thinking now they are simply perverts who share the same lusts, as well as beards for one another.@Guest1:

Well, Patty Anne, I can only read what people on other sites, say. Posters here found out about the gay man he lived with: Thom Racine. According to one site, Brad became so petulant and very impatient just before “Thelma and Louise” came to his rescue, that he was heard to be considering porno. Thom allegedly talked him out of it. Now, in that odious profession, one has to be endowed. I have friends who watch those. I just tell them that watching those images chips away at their ability to love. Anyway, BP is not equipped to do that thing. So many of those performers commit suicide. They do not love themselves, so they kill the body that brings so much misery.

BP hasn’t been able to commit to, and love one woman. His partner in crime is not his wife. He grandiously stated that he wouldn’t marry until all people could marry. Well, his target audience now can marry. But still, no ring for AJ. Only teasers in the rags. Remember how often they were soon to marry? It seemed to always coincide with the good fortunes dealt to JA.

And their statements. Say one thing, and do another. That’s why I suggested that there should be a little booklet one can get at the supermarket. This one by an astute author who could title it, “BRANGIE TALKS!” On one side of the page, would be what they say; on the other, what they do, or don’t do after their announcements.

There are many red flags out there. Remember he used to look lovelier than many of the women he dated. Remember there was an article where a Hollywood studio worker declared that he, himself, was straight; but for Brad, he was willing to do whatever. Apparently, he’d be the man, and B the female. You see, in Hollywood, transsexuals are popular with male stars.
His closeness to GC. Early reports that AJ hated GC, and was jealous.

There was an item here, I think. But also, on another site, that B was observed being serviced by a pool.

I, for one, never believed that he fathered any child. To me, he’s similar to TC, who also couldn’t father a child. Nothing wrong with that. He’s adopted otherwise lost children. That’s highly commendable. And now he has the family he allegedly claimed he wanted so much. At least he should be happy, now. Instead, we hear that he’s getting loaded often.

I did try to intro Brangelina as a topic at various meetings. No one was interested.

In the 5th paragraph, the alleged server was a male.
Psycho-therapists say that such behaviour is common to narcissists. They say that the one being serviced doesn’t have to make any effort to participate; just play the role of an idol. Makes sense?

Yes it does actually. And I firmly believe Brad’s homosexuality is the reason he rushed from college and fled to California just short of graduating college in Missouri. Back then, and in that area of the country ( the Bible Belt) he and his entire family would have carried the brunt of any gossip about Brad being “discovered”…. The story of being Thom Racine’s “Pool Boy”, a term used in HW back then up to today, to indicate a sexual object “owned” by a rich , older man, was and is a very strong clue. The photos posted on FF of the elder man embrasing lovingly a young, drunk BP. And so much more.

There was a heartfelt interview from Sean Penn a couple of months ago. In it, he claimed that not one person ever truly loved him. He doesn’t know what it’s like to be loved. It’s presumed he meant other than his family. So the absence of love included his time married to Madonna. And it’s reported that Madonna claims Sean Penn is “the love of her life”.

Not too long ago, he was seen as “the actors’ actor”. Young thespians worshipped him. This was after Brando proclaimed him the best of that time in his life.

So if she is just “showing up”, and that’s certainly how it appears, why is the charade allowed to continue? It doesn’t make sense. The Coen Bros write a script for a movie they’re not directing and then the studio hires a tabloid queen actress with very little experience behind the camera to direct a WW II movie. The only thing I can think of that makes sense is that she is putting a LOT of her own money into this project. She bought herself the job. I guess the same with brad putting himself in movies he produces through plan b.

She’s there for photo ops, so that (in her mind) she stays relevant, because irrelevance is her biggest fear.

She probably was all jazzed up from the fresh supply of opiates she was getting….but she did NOT create the story boards, she was only LOOKING at them…big deal. And the nannies were mothering her children, as they have done every day of those children’s lives. She’s a director about as much as she’s a mother  Puhleeze! If you choose to believe in her delusional fantasy, have at it. But the only reason she pretends to work, imo, is because if she was at home with her kids all the time….she might be expected to get rid of the nannies and actually DO something motherly.

That’s rich when chastising someone for criticizing another woman when that woman is Jolie. When has Jolie ever been loyal to another woman? She slept with her own mother’s boyfriend, starting a lifelong habit of interference in other women’s relationships. While her mother was dying in LA, Jolie was partying in NOLA. Recently there was a solved blind about Jolie sleeping with her BFF’s husband. Please, there’s so few person’s that Jolie could call a friend and she has to have the satisfaction of one-upping even her BF? It would be terrible if a woman verbally attacked almost any other woman except Jolie. LOL But Jolie? Pfft. she gets no sympathy because she’s never deserved it.

That’s only one of the clues that add up to Jolie merely being a famous head. Think about it. there were articles about the hardships of filming the water scenes. When have you ever been near the water, whether beach or pool and no matter how high the SPF was, never got so much as a tan or a burn? Never. Even Jolie with that big hat and sunglasses should have the raccoon eyes tan from the sunglasses with the sun glare coming from below her hat reflecting upwards off the water. When near water, I’ve gotten a sunburn through clothing. If those scenes were on the actual ocean, she should have at least had wind burn chapping. Thanks to her constant photo ops, we’ve never seen any evidence that Jolie has been outdoor filming at all.

It can’t think of any intelligent rebuttal so everyone gets different ploys to stop them voicing their opinions. It tries personal attacks, it tries to guilt you, shame you. It does the Why why why? It does the attack on the ex wife and other deflections, but never any intelligent rebuttal or cede the fact that everyone has the right to their opinion and to voice it.

I would have never been so open to this Jolie criticism IF I hadn’t been a faithful poster at JJ for years fangirly for another actor and I noticed the loons were horrible and insulting about the ex-wife who happened to be in a picture at the same party as my old celeb hero. My sister was an ex-wife and I can’t imagine her having people talk about her that way and it put my back up. I did not like it and one day I wasn’t even in a AJ or JA thread and was attacked because I didn’t follow loon criteria that I had to hate every actor or actress that was better than the brandge. No one tells me who I can like and YOU can’t tell me who I can’t dislike. I’ll only dig my heels in more. :)

Believe the stories? Perhaps…because I have seen with my own eyes that she has yet to be in any relationship with any man that wasn’t in a relationship when she got involved. I have seen with my own eyes brandge deteriorate at warp speed. No one does that, let alone two people, a couple, without, IMO, heavy drug use and low and behold google Hollywood heroin addicts and who comes up on a list? The deteriorated duo that’s who. Blind Items Revealed — October 11, 2013 — The cheating on both sides of the relationship is fine with each of these A list mostly movie actors so I guess that means it would be an open thing rather than a cheating thing. What isn’t ok with the A list male in the relationship is the drug use by his female partner. She had stopped for about a year except for pot, but she is back heavy on the one she loves most and her skin is back to that deathly pale look that makes you shudder when you see it up close. Jolie always looks so desperate on the red carpets, clutching Pitt to the point that I thought he’d be dragging her, so I never thought she’d be rone to want out. The timing of these reveals for the blinds is interesting after the firing and during award season. There are a lot of posters who think that Jolie would sabotage Pitt rather than see him get any award, even a coat tailing one. Pitt has offended many in Hollywood over the years and then, has any talent escaped the loons’ abundant jealousy posted everywhere? It would seem to me the list is long for those who’s like to see Pitt or Jolie made an even bigger fool than they already are.

BP has a strong ally/friend/ and more, in GC. The latter has been warning certain hosts of a ratings-buster awards show “not to poke the bear”. It’s because one of the hosts mentioned GC’s women being so much younger, and not having staying power. On the show, they linked this joke about his appearance and departure in “Gravity” to his real-life dealings with young women. Now, these young women were/are most probably ordered to play their part in just a certain way. (TC had done the same thing).

So now GC is “threatening” the younger women “not to poke the bear”. Will the owners of that award show allow him to hurt their careers? Obviously, a book could be in the making here. Someone will spill, eventually. Can’t stop that, no matter how much he threatens. It’s not the same world of show biz of even twenty years ago. The world has changed, and the top leaders in the world have to adjust to the changes, by not ignoring the “common” people. If GC wants to dictate what goes on in the world of show-biz, he may have another think coming. Just sayin’!

Several pundits are indicating it’s a foregone conclusion that TYaS will win Best Picture. We already know that BP has been picking projects that are sure-fire award contenders. (Again, TC used to do that).

“Gravity” and ” American Hustle” are said to be vying strongly for Best Picture. Here’s where The Los Angeles Times weighs in. One of their columnists has been pushing “12 Years a Slave” ever since the awards season began. And the newspaper is heavily involved with the oscar publicity, and is circulated in the heart of oscar voters territory.
Before that, some viewers expressed dislike for the picture. They resented the “If you don’t give it the oscar, you’re a racist” implications. They already know that slavery has not been ignored in the long history of the movies. And it was reported they hated the violence. So they, the pro-slavery movie, count on “white guilt” to propel that movie to an oscar win. Now, will the public embrace it? Nobody among all the people I’m acqainted with has any desire to discuss it. They do rave over other current pictures, however.

Slavery has NOT been ignored in the history of show business. It has not been a single subject of a whole movie, but it has not been ignored. One has only to point to the ratings blockbuster, “Roots” to show what influence a film about slavery has. It was talked about in the black community, as well as the non-black.

The excess violence is the turnoff for most of the people I’ve talked with about this movie. They have no desire to see it. That was true of the violence in movies about the treatment of Native Americansa, that came out around forty years ago, or more.

The main topic I’ve heard today, is the weather. Weird weather. People are grateful to be in Southern California, but they’ve retreated to their rooms where they can enjoy their heaters.

Second most discussed topic was The Super Bowl. Heard most of the people say they think the Seattle Seahawks will win. When asked, I could only say that anything could happen. Easy way out, beings I’m no expert. Preparations for a big party here in the complex.

Third favorite topic is The Sochi Olympics. Some are concerned about the safety of the world’s participants. After all, they say, terrorists would willingly give up their lives for their beliefs.

And the local hospitals have instituted restrictions to entering the wards and even the cafes. Reason? The flu season is here in spades. So until next week, we can’t visit; some of us.

+2 “Roots” was enough for me. I have watched other films about the Civil War and they were also sad. I agree that most of us do not need to watch the horrific treatment of humans as you have put it. IMO, you can get the message better by reading the story. I have read Uncle Tom’s Cabin and books about Harriet Tubman.

I have also read stories of how the Catholic Priests abused the local Indians here in California, about the Trail of Tears, Japanese camps, female workers being burned to death, child slavery workers, abuse of Chinese workers, miners, sex slaves, how and why we came to have laws regarding the food we eat, and how workers today are dying in other countries due to the horrific treatment by large American Companies.

Maybe Brad and Angie should do a movie of child slave labor in relation to cocoa beans and other products! At least we have the ability to attempt to take action to stop the slavery and abuse that is happening now. However, I wouldn’t want to watch those movies either.

Reginald Hudlin, a black producer, who was nominated for Best Production last year, (”Django Unchained”) said: “While I am happy for the cast and crew of 12 Years to get recognition, I wish more worthy projects got similar attention.”
So he feels there were “more worthy” pictures due for attention.
“12 Years” received a lot of attention when a New York film critic, Manohla Dargis, (sp?) expressed her viewpoint that slavery wasn’t given its due in the history of moviemaking. That started the ball rolling. But many resented the implication that slavery hasn’t been given so much attention. The lack of attention is true of other ethnic groups. When did we ever see native americans depicted as human beings with capabilities of emotion? When Clint Eastwood did direct Adam Beach to such a role, he was given a backlash from Liz Smith, an octogenarian columnist. She was outraged that the Beach character cried and cried in the movie. A marine crying? So Beach was ignored for his supporting role.

Anyway, the academy is mostly old; mostly white; mostly male.

I’ve also read about horrific abuse and murder of native Indians (and their children) by the Catholic church in Canada. What I don’t understand is why people now think all whites should feel guilty about black slavery. No one in my Irish family ever owned a slave, so why should we feel guilty? The majority of people on the face of this earth have had to pull themselves up from poverty to build a life for their families and there are millions of stories that HW hasn’t told.

Speaking as one who suffered this H1N1 flu, please everyone, get your flu shot and be so very careful about being in large crowds of people. Here, in Central Florida, we’ve had 9 deaths from it, all ages and conditions from a child to a 30 y/o pregnant woman. I can never recall being so filled with mucus, even my doctor was concerned and ready to admit me to hospital. It chokes you, even spills out of your eyes when you have a coughing attack as your lungs attempt to expel the rubberlike mucus so you can get oxygen. I’m hoping that being so graphic about the symptoms it will encourage everyone to do their best to prevent it. Took four weeks to get “over” it, still weak , tired, and occasional coughing up small amounts of mucus. It’s not an easy one by any means.@WR:

I haven’t read the stories about the Canadian Indians, but I’ve heard stories about their mistreatment. My great-grandfather was good friends with a tribe up in the area where he lived.

I feel sad about the slavery that happened here, but I don’t feel guilty due to the color of my skin. Like you, my ancestors did not live in this country during that era (some in Ireland). In fact, according to what I’ve heard some of my family members had to flee due to their religion and war. My husband has an ancestor who fought for the Union.

Now, if you believe in reincarnation maybe some of us might be guilty or then again perhaps we were slaves. We can’t change the past; we can only learn from it to make a better future.

When my doctor asked me if I had a flu shot, I couldn’t honestly answer her. Did I? If I did, where’s the record? Wouldn’t it be in the computer files? Just don’t care for them, is what! But now, having second thoughts.

I did read some time back about a good recipe for treating a cold. It’s plenty of dark, leafy vegetables put together for a soup. Cloves of garlic; chicken broth and lemon slices, (with the rinds attached).
Then, about 1000 mg (1 Gram) of vit C. a day. (Optional). 25mg of zinc tablets. per day. But only for the duration of the cold. Stop, when you’re well. If you don’t, you could damage your liver.

For older citizens, there’s the one that’s highly recommended by some: A glass of apple cider, (about 3/4 full); apple cider vinegar, (about 2 Tbs), cloves of garlic, (about 3, at least); and honey (about a Tbs), in a cocktail. I tried it. It’s not very tasty, I should say. But, whether it works or not; well, couldn’t hoit!

Patty Anne, sad to hear you have the flu. It´s hard since it takes weeks to recover. But I thought you never need to have the flu in the sunny and warm Florida. And not in Carlifornia either. Obviously it´s impossible to avoid the viruses. In Scandinavia the flu will peak in February and March. then we have been without the sun for many months and people spends a lot of time indoors. Our immune system is in the bottom at this time of the year.

Get well soon, Patty Anne !

Speaking of slavery, has any movie been made depicting the Irish slave trade? The Irish slaves were treated worse than the African slaves.

Just read online that Phillip Seymour Hoffman died earlier today of a drug O.D. Very sad. I didn’t realize how many movies he had been in until I looked up his IMDb page. He was in ‘Along Came Polly’.

I just saw it…how shocking! I thought he had been clean for many years. As for the Irish slave trade, I cannot think of any movies depicting this horrific time in our history. You are right about the Irish slaves being treated worse, because the black slaves were considered more valuable. The white/Irish slaves were a dime a dozen :(

We love sunny Florida, however when the tourists and winter vacationers come down, they bring with them virus’ we have no or little immunity to, then we get sick and pass it on to permanent residents. This year has been especially bad with this flu – 9 deaths in our area alone. A child, a pregnant woman ( the baby was saved), and others. This flu does not discriminate, and it’s horrible.@Tetta:

Perhaps your doctor was talking about you specifically. There is often a lower protective immune response after vaccinations in elderly or frail persons so that particular population may not get the full benefit of the flu shot. But the flu shot is designed to and does prevent you from getting the flu itself. Obviously it depends on the person and the flu viruses circulating that year and whether that year’s shot matches the predicted strains.

Everyone should get a flu shot.

Are we still trying to diminish Twelve Years a Slave as tired and been there, done that? Still bringing up 30 year old TV shows as a way to suggest TYAS is a waste of time? Amazing. Just amazing.

The Irish were not slaves in the true sense. They were indentured servants. Most were voluntary though there were those who were forced into it. Yes, they were often treated abominably but they could work their way out – if they made it. They weren’t all treated worse than African slaves at all. But because they were not “property” their futures were of little concern to those they worked for.

It would be a great topic for a film. Get on it.

“Many people today will avoid calling the Irish slaves what they truly were: Slaves. They’ll come up with terms like “Indentured Servants” to describe what occurred to the Irish. However, in most cases from the 17th and 18th centuries, Irish slaves were nothing more than human cattle.

As an example, the African slave trade was just beginning during this same period. It is well recorded that African slaves, not tainted with the stain of the hated Catholic theology and more expensive to purchase, were often treated far better than their Irish counterparts.”

    Can Flu Be Prevented?

“Getting a flu shot every year can help you stay healthy. A flu shot contains the flu vaccine, which could keep you from getting the flu. Medicare will pay for the shot, and so will many private health insurance plans. You can get a flu shot at your doctor’s office or from your local health department. Sometimes grocery or drug stores offer flu shots. The vaccine is the same wherever you receive it.

A flu shot won’t keep everyone healthy. But, getting the flu shot every year can mean that if you do get the flu, you might have only a mild case.”

Another reason to get the flu shot:

Getting a flu vaccine is associated with a lower risk of death in people with heart disease, a review of studies has found, and the effect is greatest in those who have had a recent heart attack or chest pain.

The review included five randomized trials that involved more than 6,400 heart patients. In all, there were 246 heart attacks and other major cardiovascular events, and 97 deaths from heart disease.

For patients with stable heart disease, a vaccination decreased the relative risk for a cardiovascular event by 36 percent. For those who had had a heart attack within the last year, the effect was greater: a 55 percent reduction in relative risk. Over all, those who were vaccinated had a 19 percent reduced risk of death.

The authors acknowledge that their conclusions are based on a relatively small number of cardiovascular events and deaths. At the same time, the review, which was published in JAMA, covered all randomized trials done on the subject, and there is no suggestion of inconsistency among them.

“People who don’t like vaccines probably don’t like dying from heart attacks either,” said the lead author, Dr. Jacob A. Udell, a cardiologist at the University of Toronto. “Maybe this is a good enough reason for the skeptics to go and get their flu shots.”

My doctor, and my mother’s, told me the same thing. I got the flu 8 or 9 years ago after not getting a shot for a couple of years because I didn’t think I needed it. I was home sick from work and beyond miserable for a week and after that it took about 6 weeks before I got my strength back and could climb stairs without getting out of breath. I’ve gotten the flu shot ever since.

It’s the same with the shingles shot. It may not always prevent getting shingles (about a 60% rate of effectiveness) but if you get it then it’s a milder case. It’s recommended in people over 50 that had chicken pox as a child. The virus lays dormant in your body for all those years and then as you get older the virus can resurface causing shingles which affects the nerves and is EXTREMELY painful if you’ve never had them. My poor mother had it twice and to this day she still occasionally feels pain in the area where she last got it.

The vaccines are not perfect but anything that can reduce the risk of getting sick is well worth it, in my opinion.

This is my PSA for the week.

Someone suggested that it’s because they’re black, that they get away with it. Could be. Another suggested that the pendulum has swung the opposite direction. The pendulum of morality, that is.

D brought up the “wardrobe malfunction” incident. He brought it up, when I ventured the info that there’s a slight delay at what we are seeing “live”. This, I said, is because the network wants to have enough time to censure any potential damage. It needs the time for any needed damage control.

I was reading this revealed bllind item at Cdan and it reminded me of another actress who looked pretty awful in her recent australia wrap party pics. What it is with heroin and hollywood?

To see this woman in the last few years of her life was to see a shadow. A pasty shadow who looked as if she would crumble at any time. I guess in a way she was the original coke mom but her drug of choice was heroin. Introduced to her by some musicians she met at a recording studio they showed her what to do and how to inject it. One of them also became her lover and that would have been a scandal still reverberating if it had been discovered at the time. For her there could be no crossing any racial lines like that. The last year or two of her life the forever A+ lister would wear long sleeves to cover the tracks on her arm. Is it any wonder her kids had such huge addiction problems?

I think hollywood was always a cesspool where drugs and sexual perversions were rampant. The only difference between then and now is that it used to be kept hidden. Now it’s all out in the open and in our faces and the cesspool is portrayed as the norm. We already have censorship of the truth in the media, it’s only the depravity that’s not censored.

IMO, it could be because I have continuously read in blogs that “Dylan was brainwashed by Mia into believing Allen molested her in order to get even with Allen since she was a bitter angry woman.” It may be believed if Mia were to speak up then the situation would be turned into a situation about her and how she is still trying to get even with Allen and not about Dylan’s charges against Allen.

Even if we take Dylan’s accusations out of it….I still think WA comes off as a child predator, by dating an underage girl (she was 17) when he was 42 and then by hooking up with Soon-yi. He took naked pics of her when she was 17, so he must have been “training” her for awhile. As for Mia, didn’t she defend Roman Polanski when he wanted to come back to the US and pick up an award?

Very clever of Woody Allen to deflect from Dylan’s accusations by putting the spotlight on MIa isn’t it? Now people are debating the relationship between a grown woman and a grown man and not that of a child and her adopted father decades older than she. If Woody is so adamant of his innocence, why is he not addressing Dylan’s accusations directly? After all, she is an adult now and wholly capable of responding with the facts as she knows them. Memories are funny things, the most vivid we carry into old age are the most pleasurable and the most painful. I imagine each of us can recall something about our childhood that struck us and sticks in our memories, so why is Dylan being dismissed so cavalierly by so many in the biz? Check some court records of cases where the child was 9 y/o and the pedophile was old enough to be their father…they weren’t wealthy, nor were they famous and/or influential and they were convicted. Woody Allen is by no means special, he is a man with male urges and who knows what direction they lie. BTW, why did he and Soon Yi adopt two girls and not boys? or one of each? Just a question….just a question.

    @Up the Coast:
I don’t know if Mia did, but that’s what I’ve been reading. Another horrible case.

What I’ve read in response to the WA /Dylan case is sickening. I’ve read how some say that women throughout history have married older men. Thankfully I read at least one response that stated while true that it wasn’t usually by choice. I read where one poster stated that they work in a bar and that a lot of young women hit on the older men. Well as a woman it’s true that some woman also have ulterior motives and if their hitting up an older man it’s usually either because he’s famous and/or wealthy or married. Married men can be blackmailed or give the woman an ego feed that she got him to cheat on his wife. There must be a lot of pedophiles and men that just want to believe that a 19-year old girl would be attracted to a 57-year old man, especially that looks like WA!!! How many 19-year old men are attracted to a 57-year old woman? Oh that’s right…men look better as they age to a young woman.

Some posters state that it was okay because he wasn’t a father figure to Soon-Yi and that he has his own residence. So he adopted two children and had one bio with Mia and was around for 12-years and he wasn’t seen as a father-figure to those that had other adoptive fathers? Then there he wasn’t around Soon-Yi very often excuse. I see a man that took off a after a young girl (teenager) as soon as she was about the age of being legal and I believe that he noticed her long before. Even if he didn’t, if he had a conscience to some degree he would have backed off and would have let the girl have the chance to discover who she was and wanted to become. He would have also thought about those he was going to hurt. Instead Mia, found the photo of her daughter, naked, and I bet she was livid since WA and her daughter had betrayed her.

I wonder if some posters have thought about how unsafe it must be for foster and adoptive children when there are people who don’t think this situation is wrong. How scary it must be to date a man as a single mom when people don’t think there should be boundaries? My aunt had a neighbor who was molesting his new wife’s daughters. How many men go along with adoptions of little girls (WA?) so they can become their new sex toy (sometimes obedient wives)? The child sex slave ring is huge which just goes to show that there is an abundance of sick-perverted men out there.

Moses has said that Mia was an awful mom, and if she was, that would have made Soon-Yi a perfect target for a predator. Soon-Yi on her own may have been getting even with Mia for some reason as I know a woman who married a man to get even with her mom for some slight. Mia probably has her own issues and Moses could also be lying for his own personal reasons (money, career, attention, or ?).

Now, I read on other sites that there are bloggers paid to bash Mia and Dylan; but, mainly Mia. What I can’t figure out is why Mia and Dylan would allegedly accuse WA of such a horror! Doesn’t make sense. To what purpose? After all, he’s not even remotely attractive according to the standards of american society. So, why want WA, especially after Sinatra.

    @WCKitty:
I have no doubt that Mia’s intentions were loving and pure when she decided to adopt children and give them a good home. And people with good intentions and stars in their eyes tend to be blind to the evils around them, like pedophiles or other types of mental issues. So Mia might have thought that not having WA actually living in the house, was her way of focusing on the children’s daily routine and they didn’t have to compete with her attention. That is a good idea for any mother who is only dating a man, when she has children, imo. It seems that by the time Mia realized what had been going on with WA/Soon-yi…it was already too late.
Many young people, like Moses and Soon-yi, have ended up turning on their mothers because they felt slighted as children, whether it was true or it was spoon fed to them by WA, we’ll probably never know…I was reading something about Elijah Blue complaining about Cher yesterday…and he’s 37 yrs old. Some people just feel entitled and think their parents owe them forever. This is where good boundaries come in ;) We were taught to respect/honor our elders and everyone in the family should be looking out for the children…looking out for their safety that is, not looking at them as a sexual partner  WA can say, after all these years, that he’s not guilty….and this is a “he said”, “she said” situation….but he has two adopted daughters with Soon-yi, and I’m betting that they know the truth.

It seem with the proofs that he like to have young lady as his muse, married his partner adopted daughter, and his own quote from people mag, plus only adopted girls in his current marriage, made up my opinion about this man.
There might be very slight possibility that he might be innocent, but all the evidence and circumstance around him,it’s enough actually not blame or pointed finger of his “Victim” as a liar.
I can’t comprehend anyone blaming the victim ,specially her own brother call her a liar. He didn’t have the maturity and 24/7 access to witness his sister and his dad interaction at that time. So how dare of him to conclude is a lie from both Dylan n Mia.
I don’t think Mia or Dylan will gain anything by telling their story except closure and justice.
I had some slight suspicious that WA hooked up with sun yi seem very convenience to distract people from Dylan case, because it been used for painted Mia as the jealous ex who made up story to gain revenge of WA.
The problem is..WA is way richer than Mia,and he had tons of well paid people to play the pr game.

    @Up the Coast:

There are just no grounds to suggest grooming. By Mia’s own admission in her book, Allen had almost nothing to do with Soon Yi just as he had pretty much nothing to do with her other children she did not share with Allen. Mia herself says it was she who encouraged Allen to spend time with Soon Yi so he could get to know her better and that was when she was about 17. So to please Mia he took her suggestion and started taking Soon Yi to basketball games. None of that fits a grooming pattern at all.

I also do not think Woody is way richer than Mia. They are pretty evenly matched financially. They are both multi-millionaires.

As for Moses’ statements, he was 13 at the time this abuse is supposed to have taken place. He was present for the hours Allen was there that day and he says Allen was never alone with Dylan, they were all together in the public room of the house and that Allen and Dylan never went off together alone. The house was also full of children, babysitters, friends of babysitters, household staff – so kinda “enemy territory” at the time since they were in the midst of a full on battle.

I am very curious about Mia’s brother, recently convicted of child sexual molestation, who was actively molesting children of Dylan’s age during that period of time (1992 ). His whereabouts and any access he had to the children, any comments about him the children may have overheard discussed by family or staff – these may have played a role if false impressions, false memories, transference, etc. were involved.

@anonymous:wow just wow…you make a lot of excused to defend WA,it’s your right. But to suggest that a child will have false memories of a sexual abuse basic on conversation,it’s laughable..Dylan letter is clearly stated it WA molested her with all the detail and trauma of shame and anger that still reflected on it. Either you want to believe or not ,please be more common sense.
BTW with one simple statement that you think WA who directed a lot of box office movie till now, will be the same or less wealthy than Mia who rarely work as an actress anymore,it’s proof that your common sense way out there..

It shouldn’t surprise us that ‘joLIE’s biggest fan’ would also be a fan of another sick freak. WA is trying to re-write history, because the truth is… the court took custody away from him and described him as “self-absorbed, untrustworthy and insensitive.” Sounds like someone else we know and talk about here all the time ;) And sadly, she (joLIE) was also allowed to adopt children.

However, Ronan’s friend Jon tweeted: ‘A babysitter was so unnerved by what she caught Woody Allen doing to Dylan, his head in her lap, she sounded the first alarm,’ and posted the court statement by judge Eliot Wilks that read: ‘Ms.Farrow’s statement to Dr. Coates that she hoped that Dylan’s statements were a fantasy is inconsistent with the notion of brainwashing.

‘In this regard, I also credit the testimony of Ms. Groteke, who was charged with supervising Mr Allen’s August 4 visit with Dylan. She testified that she did not tell Ms. Farrow until after Dylan’s statement of August 5 that Dylan and Mr Allen were unaccounted for during fifteen or twenty minutes on August 4.

‘It is highly unlikely that Mr Farrow would have encouraged Dylan to accuse her father of having sexually molested her during a period in which Ms Farrow believed they were in the presence of a babysitter. However, I do not believe that Ms. Farrow would have exposed her daughter and her other children to the consequences of the Connecticut investigation and this litigation if she did not believe the possible truth of Dylan’s accusation.’

The judge continued: ‘In a society where children are too often betrayed by adults who ignore or disbelieve their complaints of abuse, Ms. Farrow’s determination to protect Dylan is commendable.’

He is accused of sexually abusing two men who at the time of the abuse, were “between the ages of eight until their early teens,” according to a media release put out by the Anne Arundel Police Department.”

“According to the police statement, the investigation began in August, 2012″

The court documents are telling and I agree with your assessment. Moses’s account of Mia’s behavior is also not very smart for a so-called family therapist attempting to protect his so-called dad. Anyone who knows about predators knows that they prey on those that are having a hard time with loneliness (like his sister Soon-Yi was having while away at college) and/or having trouble with their parent(s) like he accused Mia (but may not be true since he isn’t too smart). WA became her friend and confident and then she became entangled in his web.

I think,WA has good talent as director, just like Chris Brown has a good talent as singer, but their personality and private life is really not my liking. I can understand people still can appreciate their work, but to try to defend their private life just because their famous work,it’s not on. I think society including HW more forgiven to famous man doing bad things than to woman. They specially more forgiven to men who abuse woman, because unfortunately woman still second class citizen and also woman tend to be more defending men behave badly than their own kind. I just watched a case in Sydney about a man convicted thrown his fiancé over their apartment and killed her,but his new GF defended him blindly and made all the excuses for him.

I thought that GS and AJ were such good friends and yet her nemesis was invited to the shower. I wonder if that revealed blind about aj losing her last girlfriend after she slept with her husband was about Gwen. I also wonder if there was more than sex involved like maybe some heroin was shared too. Just pure speculation here but too funny that chelsea was invited to her supposed friend’s shower.

There was a blind item awhile back that was solved: Angelina Jolie. It was about an A list actress who was visiting her friend for a play date with their kids. The wife and someone else had to go out, and Angie had sex with the friend’s husband. It was said to be Gwen Steffani’s hubby, Gavin. I recall we never saw more photos of Angie taking her kids to Gwen’s for any more play dates either. You might be able to search it out on Blind Gossip.@Guest2:

The twins were born in 2008. On a positive note, it looks like they’ll both be at the Academy Awards. It should be fun to see what antics she pulls this year. I think it’s show some confidence of Jen to let Justin by himself. There are plenty of tech devices to close the gap for them to keep in contact. I’m watching it right now on the east coast, that is until my husband takes over the remote control. I watched part of it the other night.

I didn’t realize that Ringo had been so sick as a child, first with appendicitis that developed into a peritonitis, which caused him to fall into a coma. About 8 years ago I had an abscess on my appendix, and was in pain and had a fever for about 2 weeks before the diagnosis. The first doctor I saw was a real a-hole. He basically said I was having menstrual cramps. Luckily a week later I saw a physician’s assistant who immediately sent me to get a cat scan and I was told by the person who read the cat scan that I had an infection that needed to be treated with antibiotics, and to go immediately to the emergency room, that they would call ahead to advise I was arriving, and not to not even go home first. I was dumbfounded. I ended up in the hospital with IV antibiotics for 5 days and a year later had my appendix out. In the meantime I had to have 5 cat scans. Sorry to digress.

Ringo was then in the hospital with tuberculosis.

One thing I learned about Ringo that I don’t like is that he abused his second wife Barbara while he was abusing alcohol/drugs. But one thing that partially redeemed him for me was that he was at the bedside when his first wife died along with his ex-wife’s current husband.

I would be interested in reading an autobiography of the Beatles. Any suggestions?

Maybe it’s a lttle of both. There’s a little too much public PDA with Penn and Charlize for there not to be an element of PR. If only they knew how gross and disgusting it is to see that beautiful woman being kissed and touched by that creepy dirtbag. It’s not doing her any good. As for Depp, I do think he’s having a mid-life crisis and is probably quite taken with his young girlfriend. I think she’s in it for what it can do for her career. JMO, maybe theya re all really in love. Gag.

” It’s a harrowing film about a man called Solomon Northup who was sold into slavery for 12 years – but it is guaranteed not to win a single prize at tonight’s Bafta awards.

That’s because it’s a version of the true story used by British director Steve McQueen for his hit movie 12 Years A Slave – but this was screened 30 years ago.

The existence of the earlier film will surprise Bafta and Oscar voters who have hailed McQueen’s film as a highly original adaptation of Northup’s obscure memoir, which was first published in 1853.”

Looks like another huge failure for Brad. Being fired from Paramount, WWSnooze , and the list goes on. Seems his luck and fame began a downward slide about 10 years ago. I don’t see what he can do at age 50 to turn things around, but the question is — Why Didn’t He Know His Version Was A Remake? Or….did he?

Oh poor racist Patty Anne… to think that a TV movie made over 40 years ago was the true despiction of slavery in America..
I bet you one of those no teeth/obese backwards thinking Panhandle/ Central Floridian.. Do you have the confederate flag hanging on your front yard? Jim Crow probably didn’t exist either.. One-two generations removed from Blacks not eating from the same restaurants, using the same bathrooms or water fountains as whites..
If the movie doesn’t win any awards it’s because of white guilt.. Any movie about Holocaust will win because its German guilt. Do Australian’s feel guilt about the Aborigines? You know the country built on British murderers/rapists “have not’s” that raped aborigine women and abducted their babies. That’s their history. At least in my schools books and history classes in the US.

You shouldn’t worry too much about Brad/Angelina.Their net worth is over $200 mil. JA just turned 45, still no babies. Are you now looking for her to have a baby at 46 ? Do you think Justin T. will still be with her in a few years or will he pull a Ashton K and want to have a baby with a younger woman? Or was just all a PR stunt to raise his profile? “Ten years after brad” new people magazine cover. I still can’t believe it’s been almost decade and Maddox will be a full on teenager in August and Zahara is now 9 years old.

I knew when I posted FACTS that the loon-a-tic brigade would resort to ignorant name calling as they , for the most part, lack the intelligence to understand those words came from a paper and not me, ergo ( it’s a latin word dear loon) the story is based upon facts. It stated that the story was made into film that was SCREENED thirty years ago, or, around 1990. It’s not original, it’s not new, it’s a remake. BTW loon-a-tic, your brain has no color, so what does it matter to you? Oh, I see, you speak for yourself as a practicing racist. @Up the Coast:

I think she’s finally going back to being herself and letting go of the business Brangelina from her private life. This is the role she plays very well and could manage to succeed beyond her dreams IF she follows this path. She and Pitt were and are not suited to one another, just a lustful encounter that created more issues ( pun not intended) than successes. I hope she continues to be herself without trying to be the cheerleader. And for the dense loon-a-tic, yes, I’m complimenting Angelina Jolie.

I hope he turns out okay, and has a life of his own one day. We’ve seen too many celebrities kids suffering in adulthood.@Up the Coast:

It’s obvious you have invested the greater part of your existence in the Jolie-Pitt business, and for that I feel sorry for you. There is so much on the Internet about them both together and separately that all you need is to Google to read much worse than what has ever been posted here. You can’t win your argument based on emotions and conjecture, nor do you have the right to attack any poster who is giving their opinion of circumstances, and or speculation. Carry On@anonymous:

I recall brangie fans always screaming Chelsea h as racist just because she jokes and dislike angie. ..but calling Jen all sort of dispicable names is ok for their standard just because their idol ex wife still manage to survive well and live well after her divorcing her ex.

I can tell with bringing up another country history to this conversation that really not related at all.
Btw our ex pm already said sorry to the stolen generation, even though it’s not really his fault.
Awful history is good for lesson to learn not to,but to dangling around to make other who not responsible to felt guilty? I don’t think it’s fair. If brad movie is better than any other oscar nominate,it deserve an oscar, not because of guilty feeling of the US dark history. A movie or a person should winning an Oscar because of the overall best, not because a good champaign or lobbying or guilt ridden stuff or popularity contest. But unfortunately the reality is different, remember Gwenneth won oscar against Cate or Sandra won over M Streep..so I think you should not worry..12 years will win an Oscar. Don’t waste energy bad mouth poster or Jen with your boring stuff of racist, childless, pining for ex stuff, etc which a bit old.
Jen is happy, whatever the tab saying including People ( also still a tabloid) not always reflected her reality.
