IUC Food of The Month: Two restaurants I recently visited in NYC were mouth watering and spectacular. Bobby Van’s offered the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Located in Midtown, each side (potatoes, green beans) was good enough for 3-5 people. Service was amazing, combined with great ambience. I put Bobby Van’s in a league of its own when it comes to fine dining. Very few steak houses match the elegance and quality of this unique eatery.
Another culinary delight was Ivy in Midtown West. Hip and casual chic, Ivy is a great place to take a date or hang after a long day at the office. The chicken and brussel sprouts were a delight. Hit of the night was the steak spring roll – a must try. Good music, great cocktails. Ivy is a sure bet to satisfy.

How fun ! A new clue already ! Thank You Ian !

Where to begin ? I choose ” trying to be the bigger person “. The first thing I think of is how good Jennifer handle all bull sh*t from Brad.

Hurry cane: Assistance for traveling over difficult terrain.
You and the restless: Is it supposed to be young and the restless? Soap opera?
Flying like superman in a dream: rise above, moving at the speed of light
Stalking the wild pendulum: New level of consciousness, proactive, limitless possibilities?
    Sippin some lean: Dangerous, drugs,
Floating like a goat: Floating like a Goat,” probably my favourite story of the 10, is a rather biting, critical letter from a mother to her child’s grade one teacher. “The point of art, Miss Subramanium, is in not meeting expectations,” writes Anne, little Georgia’s mother. “Ha! Yes, that is the point! … Art, and here I include dance, music, film, and belles lettres, is perhaps the only human activity where not meeting expectations corresponds with success, not failure. … This ability of the few to defy, to subvert, expectations gives the rest of us something to live for….”
Living like a hermit: Alone, closed off
No going to chapel: No wedding.
Living the orange life: Home Depot Challenge July 15th for healthy living.
Trying to be the bigger person: Self-explanatory
Coming up for air: Book about trying to go back and recapture past glories
Starting a business in Nice: France, wine making
Trying to conceive after depo: Hormone shots to prevent pregnancy, can take up to 18 months to get pregnant
Running on a full stomach: Not advisable.
Never looking back burn it: ??????????
Starting over again in a new city: Restaurants indicate NYC
    Can’t decide what is art????
A dog of flanders: Novel, boy and his loyal dog. Movie changed ending. Real ending is the man and his dog died in the cold because the church doors were closed. Movie ending – someone covers them up and saves them.

Picture: JA is pissed. Not on board.

tags: booby (not bobby?) van’s — the recent surgery, ivy, and JP (jolie-pitts)

my take – JA and BP have been communicating, as friends only. She’s unhappy/miffed about some of his recent and some of the upcoming JP shenanigans (AJ trying for another bio?). Maybe AJ trying to talk BP out of continuing to go along with the brand plan? No weddings for anyone: AJ, BP or JA, JT.

Referrences to Angie in this riddle. CLUE: ” sippin some lean”

One of the recipes for “lean” calls for using Arizona Iced Tea Co.watermelon fruit juice cocktail as the beverage of choice, and Skittles candy…

Thanks to Tetta: Be the Bigger person

This week I will be writing about being the bigger person in life. Everyone gets angry and wants to fire back at someone. Everyone gets hurt, or has someone that talks about them. Everyone will lose someone they thought was a friend.
What do we do when it happens to us? We let it go and be the bigger person. By reacting to someone that is trying to hurt you or talk about you, all we do is become that person. And believe me, that is the last thing you want. Think about how that person has no confidence in them-self. Think about how that person wishes to see you suffer. Think about that person who is trying to make self look better by talking about you. These people are bullies. Today they are known as “Haters.”
    ============================================================================

Now doesn’t this sound familiar? Who can’t keep his mouth shut about his ex-wife and marriage? Who has the appearance of a cave dweller? Who’s partner is into drugs?

MMmmmm, “starting a business in Nice”. David and Victoria Beckham were in the news recently for planning to start a new business in Nice, France since David has retired. How this would fit I have no idea, unless it somehow ties in with Brad’s vineyards and the sale of Miraval wines.

I think Jennifer has been the Bigger Person in regard to the Brand using her to create interest in Brangelina, the Brand for money/fame/etc. Now however, with Justin in the picture, whom Jennifer stated does a great job of protecting her…..all bets are off. Justin will not sit back and allow the bullish treatment of his fiance’ to continue. It’s even been said he contacted Brad through his people about a past story bashing Jen. So! Jen and Justin are trying for a baby, Justin is in protective mode, Brad’s failing at everything, Angie’s doing her usual extreme efforts to remain relevant, and drugs are back in the picture for them both imo. I think this relates to a break up, a huge break up…..of the Triangle as we knew it. Brad and Angie dream of “flying high” like Superman, but it’s just a dream and never came to fruition, while Jen and Justin are making their dream come to reality. Tune in next week for Us and the Restless…..fans and Brangie.

These last two riddles are Ian’s exclusives to us which he promised after her double m. announcement. He said he had a lot to share so I expect these are just the beginning – wee, what fun! Kind of like the beginning of the puzzle!! (though I do wish he would just say it!)

So “Back Off…” and “Hurry Cane” connect. Back to the previous riddle….

Ugh! Mad at myself for not connecting this earlier…RS said back off boogaloo was written because a friend kept repeating a word (our repeated word is break-up). It was released as a single at the time when PM initiated lawsuits to end the Beatles. The only way to end the group was through legal means. This is an analogy to our subject matter. “Lawsuit” in our case may not be literal but simply mean the force used to end the group. I think BP is still boogaloo (he’s the whip) and JA is not happy about how he wants to do this but “call her crazy” is going along with it.

The Beatles = Fab 4 = BP, AJ, JA, JTx

I’m changing my initial guess the end of the riddle doesn’t relate to his move but the game they play as a business model. This is how I now read the previous riddle.

A pandas enemy is humans esp. poachers. Poachers are those who hunt and fish illegally on the property of another = the media/tabs

    Waiting so long
    irresitably attracted
drinking a beer and smoking a doobie
planning a careful catch and release
    feeling very guilty
about the children? in the role playing game
    media/tabs the enemy
the Impressions, BP having a good time
everybody’s grooving = they’re all in on it
comfort at night and rest easier
asking friends and acquaintances for positive regard = to keep the secret
    professionally produced PR
large amounts for loads of fun
record of business operations (money in and out)
    with each step more lies
creating the face you want people to see
playing a game, is business model

“call me crazy” for agreeing to his irresistable draw to that which is attractive (more fame & money) and for following his plan for the end of the quad. Call Me Crazy premiered in mid-April so that might be when this plan was agreed upon. Shining a light on mental illness still relevant because if done slowly will cause less stress to the fish (AJ).

    End = (BP -AJ) + (JA – JTx) = BP + JA

    Game. Business Model.

Thanks for your searching and thoughts. I built my ideas off them since I’m short of time. Again, not sure on all of the clue phrases; I always seem to lose the end of these. Also haven’t considered the restaurant write ups yet.

So this one seems to be pointing to Jen: she’s not happy but being a good sport about it. Her coupling ends first guaranteed to provide plenty of screeching headlines in the tabls and comments by her detractors.

    Difficult terrain
    this ongoing soap opera
having own personal sense of power
    with limitless possibilities
    and euphoric feeling
that people can defy expectations and give the rest of us something to live for
    living in seclusion
    no wedding
    with health and financial wellness
stifling reaction, being a good sport
go back and recapture past glories (BP + JA)
complicated paperwork to set up and run afterwards
can take up to 18 months
plan going forward but she’s not fully on board (?)
    beginning over again (?)
can’t decide if has been mislead*
the movie changed the ending (this must be the “whip” and wwz)

*”what is art” is Tolstoy. He argues against asthetic theories and believes art at (his) time was corrupt and decadent; artists had been mislead. Not sure if this is the idea on this clue phrase but just throwing it out there.

His movie again caused a delay. Will take up to another 18 months to pull off the “catch and release.” My current ideas…food for thought.

I guess you missed his last few interviews. He said it LOUDER and CLEARER ..Angie is the love of his life!!! His life was miserable like 10 YEARS AGO… (lol). According to his associate, he did deeply care for JA at one time but, with Angie it was more exciting, adventuous. Damn, I recall hearing the same thing from another former beau. Oh that’s right, John ” I don’t want to sit around the kitchen petting dogs” Mayer. ” I’m only 32, I want some adventure in my life”.

Why you so upset after all these years? Isn’t JA getting married to the successful screenwriter worth $10 million?? (cough). No more Poor Jen. I personally don’t want to see another “People” Cover ” Jen 10 years after Brad”.

Eight Years? Six Kids? What has he been waiting for ??? Geesh. And if it turns out they married a long time ago but chose to keep it secret so they could use it for PR, well, that is just as bad imo, because it makes it clear there is no real love of sense of family there. OT. Dragged myself into a theater to see a 3-D movie, “Man of Steel”. Wanted to see Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe. I cannot recommend it, however. The actors were excellent. The writing is weak. The violence is necessary, but endless. The visuals are confusing, during the violence. The 3-D makes some of the movie fun. Much of it is not believable, but was used for the effects. The lead actor is very good, and I feel he could have a long career if he is savvy enough. The lead actress is Amy Adams, a name I keep seeing at awards time. She has good authority, but the part is not the best for any actress. Imo, the movie needed some more editing. Hans Zimmer’s music score was good; nothing special. And the noise throughout the movie, like being hit on the head to make a point.
I recommend waiting for the dvd. And, someone else might have an entirely different opinion of the movie. Jmo!

There was an actor/dancer, who used the name, Bobby Van. He was mainly in musicals. I was watching one of those “That’s Entertainment” specials, where he did an iconic dance along a street in Small Town, USA. It apparently impressed the stalwarts, Kelly, and Astaire.
    He died too young.

I agree that BP’s self-aggrandizing statement about not marrying until everyone can marry, was career-motivated. It also was a great excuse to NOT marry Angie, the “love of his life”. Then too, he got the gay community in his corner. There must have been congratulations all around. This is why he cannot announce he had married years back, if he did. The gays are in all areas of the entertainment industry. He must know they wouldn’t appreciate being used like that. Some actually believe that was him all the way through “Troy”, despite the publicity the movie garnered when released about a body double being used for some of the physique close-ups.
And they may have ignored the critics’ citing his character’s shampooed and styled, and lightened hair vs. the depicted time period.

Back to the beginning of the clue. Liv said:
” Stalking the wild pendulum: New level of consciousness, proactive, limitless possibilities? ” Liv is probably right. But there could be a simpler way to look at it. In the links below you can read about a book and an author who wrote ” Stalking the eternal return “. As a part of the clue I can see it as Brad and Angelina keep on with the same pattern again and again. Angelina reports from the third world. Brad keeps talking about how much he loves his family. He also continues to bash Jennifer. They talk / do this as promotion for every new movie thay take parts in. In short, they do what they do repeatedly. “Eternal return”.

An equal simple thought about the restaurants.

“Bobby Van” A fine restaurant, delicate food, enough for 3-5 persons. I can see BP and AJ with one or some more of their kids in this restaurant.

“Ivy ” “Hip and casual chic, Ivy is a great place to take a date or hang after a long day at the office.” Is seems to be a place where you could see jennifer and Justin.

Rush on the clue, coming up for air, there are 2 books. One by Patty Callahan Henry that has her two main characters reconnecting to work together , and gambling that they will not fall in love..but … OR. The one by Orwell.. Read through this site http://www.orwellsociety.com that could just be Brad , restless, driven, sticky situations, untiring work ethic, and no place to escape to..just a middle age family man with dreams.. it depends on which one fits best with the rest of the riddle, but in the film A Dog of Flanders , they changed the ending to be more optimistic, and that is also why they changed the end of WWZ, they wanted Gerry to be reunited with his family. How does that fit, or does it mean the ending of the plan was changed? Jen does look endearing in that photo, and it does seem to be in that context. She may be angry, but not enough to look like a woman scorned? I D K

Rainy day so re-reading Ian’s book, Brangelina: The Untold Story. Wow, so much there I’ve forgotten over the years. With all the Internet cleaning going on now, I can imagine Angie would love to burn Ian’s book as well. Canne, May, 2003 Brad and Angie’s affair was the talk of Canne? How did I forget that?

I can’t imagine that jen doesn’t know what’s in Ian’s book and has to look back on her marriage and wonder what other lies brad told. Even more reason to believe she’s over him for a long time now. How could you ever trust a man like that? This is why I think he and angie are well suited, neither of them is faithful and do whatever (and whoever) they please.

You are welcome. Yes, it’s apparently been 10 years since they began their adulterous affair, so I’m even more surprised Brad hasn’t wanted to put a ring on it. Six kids plus ten years and he still won’t marry her?? I wish he would get it over with, he might as well they are tied together for the rest of their lives anyway. It reminds me of those old western movies where two men have a knife fight with one arm tied to the other so they can not run away from the danger. @Guest2:

I don’t know for sure of course but I really think they are already married. She’s too smug and that tells me she’s got him hook, line and sinker. Didn’t Ian mention that somewhere along the way? Who knows, maybe the crazy keeps him from getting bored. Maybe he thinks being on a never-ending roller coaster ride is exciting. Maybe he’s afraid of what will happen to the kids if he dares to leave. Who really knows but after all these years of us thinking a breakup is coming they are still together. Maybe they like to keep us guessing, it gets them attention. I’m starting to get a little bored, though. Like Tetta summed up so perfectly, they play the same game every time they have a movie to promote. It’s becoming obvious to everyone what they’re doing. They need a new bag of tricks.

Again, I guess you miss the 2005 Vanity Affair article when her BFF at the time C. Cox said Brad told Ms. Jen that he was intrigued and interested in Angie.. ” Brad is honorable, so many men would never tell their wives they are interested in another woman” So Missy was never blindsided, she knew her marriage was over way before it was announced publicly.
Ian’s book had so many inaccuracies that’s why it was in the $1.00 book bin in most US bookstores a week after its debut. The biggest, he couldn’t even get the places/ birthdates of Shiloh and the twins right.

BTW, Uma’s concerns were about the Nanny , not Angie.. You know the Nanny that Ethan ended up having two kids with and I believe eventually marrying.

In one of the many interviews Brad Pitt said he´s never looking back and also that he never regrets things in his life. This song with it´s lyrics seems to suite what Brad thinks about.

Never Looking Back – Burn it to the Ground , Fragile Hearts
    The Linkin Park
    Release Year: 2007

I can feel it coming on and I refuse to shut down. To not feel anything at all. To not feel is already to be dead. This is my chance, to let it all go. To throw it all away and BURN IT TO THE GROUND! I’m letting it all go, are you with me? I’m letting it all go, ARE YOU WITH ME? To feel is to be alive. To hurt is to heal. I’m tired of running, of being afraid…of running from everything. I don’t ever want to feel like this again. NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN! This world doesn’t throw one rock, it stones you to death. So give me everything you’ve got. Let me feel it. I’m coming out, bruised bleeding with matches and gasoline. I’m letting it all go, I’m burning it to the ground (to the ground). Burn it to the ground! In the distance I can hear it. It’s the sound of hope ringing in my head. Be strong kid, BE STRONG! Be strong kid, BE STRONG! I’M NOT AFRAID (be strong), I’M NOT AFRAID (be strong), I’M NOT AFRAID (be strong), I’m not afraid anymore.

*When faced with any kind of personal tragedy too often we don’t know how to deal with it. Sometime we shut down to not feel anything. Sometimes we become so afraid that the same thing will happen again that we become too scared to even start over. But either way we start to deny the one thing we all have; our feelings. The moment we cheat ourselves is when we try to deny our feelings. This song is about seeing that and not being afraid to feel. Ultimately we can see the hope hidden in all of the tragedy.*

Stop being so delutional. Brad and JA getting together was all about GOOP. She was the rebound girl, the breathe of fresh air..that he thought would bring him some
happiness. Boy, was in for an wide awakening. She was insecure about her looks, her career, her mother, and didn’t want to have a family.
Brad looked at Angie, a 20 something year old and saw someone who was adventuous, couldn’t care about HW, beautiful, sexy, conquered her demons and cared about people around the world.

Brad look around and realized, I don’t want sit around smoking pot with my current wife, collecting a $10 million check and just known as Brad Pitt People Magazine” two time sexiest Male”.

Look at his filmology.. Nominated for an Oscar with Goop, Nominated for two Oscars with Angie.. Nothing (Nada) with JA during their 6-7 year relationship/marriage.. She brought him down.

Brad always said, I don’t go back, I don’t look back. It’s so interesting that his past relationships want to go back. They want to talk about him. Robin Givens (25 years ago), Goop ( 15 years ago), Sinita ( 20 years ago),
JA ( Marie Claire 2009 article, ” I still keep my phone messages from my husband”. Although, they had been divorced for 4 years.
Brad Pitt must have been some hot sh*t or that they know the only way to garner some press is to use Brad’s name..

Yet, Brad has never commented about them..

I understand, You don’t like the JA/JTX merger.. It’s boring, may not happen, he’s a goldigger, left his GF of 14 years, doesn’t seem to be into her, marriage is now on hold due to furniture buying and a HBO pilot (that may or may not be picked up).

The reality, if JA hadn’t married Brad Pitt we wouldn’t be talking about her today and if Brad Pitt had hooked up with Tina Fey after JA , instead of Angelina Jolie this triangle would be a non-issue..

A family Feud question.. Name a female you would love to look like? #1 answer Angelina Jolie!! that’s the person most US females chose.

Honestly, I thought most females would pick Charlize Theron.. But I guess, most woman would love to have long dark hair, blue-green eyes, and full lips.

I would expect that answer from the contestants on family feud. It’s hardly something to brag about. If brad is happy and doesn’t want to look back he should stop bringing up his marriage whenever he has a movie to promote. Jen hasn’t mentioned him in years. But it’s all he’s got to keep him relevant in the tabs because without tabloid coverage people would forget about the old codger with his ripped clothes and bad toupee. And if you think he isn’t still hanging around smoking pot (and goodness knows what else with his babaymama) you’re deluded. Tarantino outed him on that big time. By the way, any woman can have long dark hair, blue green eyes and pumped up lips, same way she does. She’s become a caricature of her own self.

Dear Guest #3, I was quoting a book, if you go to your local library you can read it’s content. In this book are statements verified by listed sources who were there at the time, ergo, in the know. You , of course, already know my opinion. Brad’s a cheater, brainless from all the drugs he’s been doing, an alcoholic or close to it by now, and a narcissist. I couldn’t care less whether he comes out of the closet or not. He’s living his life as a coward, so be it. Angie? All of Hollywood knows the real Angie so nothing new there, she continues her morphing into new personnas as she becomes bored with the old ones as her history proves. I’m sorry for you being so invested in the lies they have told over the years to influence people such as you, and I hope that when the day comes when you realize they’ve used you for fame and money yet do not care one wit about you your disappointment will not be too great. I’m serious here. There are people who wonder at the adulation you loons express for this faux couple, and worry about you as well.@guest 3:

Are you sure anyone had talked about Brad today if he not had married Jennifer ? The word IF could change a lot of things. If Brad never looks back he should stop ranting about Jennifer. It´s not she who keeps talking about Brad and how boring she found him to be. Who was it that draw people to the warm fire ? It wasn´t Brad. It was Jennifer. Their marriage probably had ended without Angelina. We will nener know but i guess so, as it´s Hollywood. But still, Brad made their divorce very ugly by playing family with AJ within a month after the break up was announced. You can never deny this fact. In a divorce there is most often one part that feels more hurt than the other part. Normal people tries to make it as easy as possible for this person and they don´t try to throw a lot of bad things in the other
part´s face. Brad fit it the opposite way.

Let´s say Jennifer and Brad spent six year together. As a common human being you still have some nice memories that you now and then look back to and laugh or feel a bit nostalgic. It´s modern times so today you have other kinds of memories than photos. If Jennifer kept Brads voicemails for a couple of years I find that normal. That was before Brad began to blame Jennifer about how bored he was in their marriage. Jennifer hadn´t forgot the good times they shared and kept them as the same way you keep a photo.

It´s stupid to go back ten years and compare what they said and what they did back then with what they say today. They are older and many memories have been forgotten during the years. After all these years they both must have changed their opinions about a lot of things. Today they are two different people who lives their own lives. If their agencies and the media still use them to earn money it´s up to them. And if Brad still continues to talk b*llsh*t about Jennifer it´s up to him. I find it unbelievable that they even think of each other more than twice a year. I don´t understand what Ian says but if he expressed himself in a normal way with normal words I think he also agrees that it´s impossible that Jennifer and Brad have any connection today. And to think that Jennifer wants Brad back is childish nonsense.

I don’t really know. I never followed brad before he left jen so I only know what I’ve seen since he hooked up with aj. If she is happy with Justin..she will not link with your idol..who btw kept mention or trashed about his ex marriage to Jen..over and over again..and Jen has no response..because she is move on.
Btw,,all the other brad exes..mention about him..because he is famous and the interviewer asked them about him..not because they want to get together…
Just be reasonable…a person can have a past relation, just because you prefer your current relation,do not erased the past.

I have the feeling that AJ doesn’t even like her loons; she hates them!
Well, if she follows this site so often, (as has been suggested), look for her to publicly kiss her fans’ collective arse. More pufflicity!

And if she’s off the drugs, then that’s good news, indeed. AND, if I hadn’t seen the photo on another site, wherein her neck had that large, ugly protuberance, and where her jawline is more masculine that Brad’s, I might consider the label they insist we believe about her: the most beautiful, etc! Not! Even Sharon Stone, who is older, looks better, imho.

Brad, was/is a PEOPLE magazine favorite. There are humans who chose him as the mag’s “Sexiest Man Alive”. However, some of us, other humans, felt he couldn’t even hold Colin Farrell”s jock straps. And we recall the report that AJ tried to get CF first, was rebuffed, and had to settle for Brad.

I was disappointed for BP, that his movie came in second to a film I hadn’t even heard about; after the tons of publicity generated by “the love of his life”, on his behalf. Also, next week we will have Johnny Depp’s new movie. The movie that some native americans frown upon, because it’s yet another “white man” who’s playing an “Indian”. But that’s partly their fault, because they don’t really support, or encourage the native american actors who are trying to get good parts.
You’ll recall AJ got the credit for “The Tourist”s success abroad. People didn’t even mention that her co-star, Johnny Depp was #1 at the american boxoffice at the time. Well, I hope he acquits himself quite admirably.

WR, I thought it was a really good movie. An excellent movie? No. But a really GOOD movie. I will be adding it to our video library, for sure. Non stop action, nice acting ensemble (you can’t go wrong with Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner as FATHERS of Kal-El and Clark Kent. I loved Diane Lane as Clark’s mother. She just tickled my funny bone in so many scenes. The special effects were amazing. Some of the best I’ve seen. Yes, I agree about the violence. It was huge, and it was necessary as it was a HUGE problem. Anything less would have been unrealistic. All-in-all, it was very entertaining and we left the theater happy and satisfied. Truthfully, that’s all I care about. I seek escape and entertainment in movies. And if, by chance, the main character happens to be as ridiculously good looking as the actor in this movie, well, I’m not going to complain about THAT! :)

Oh … I also have to admit that we’re going to see World War Z next weekend. And after that, we’re going to see Pacific Rim. One of my old highschool friends is the creator of a number of the monsters in the movie. Can’t wait to see his work! :) Kind of embarrassing, in a way, but I’m afraid I’ve never outgrown my love of superheros and fantasy works.

I know the answer to the RIDDLE!

It was just announced that Jennifer is named Women’s Cancer Ambassador…..now something like this just isn’t decided in a week or two, but months and months ahead.

Jolie, hearing it through the grapevine had to make sure that her little “double mastectomy” (BOOB JOB) was released in the news, before they publicly announced Jennifer as this ambassador.

This is why Jennifer is peeved. Jolie is STILL trying to steal her thunder, after all these years. Same thing happened last year with that bogus “promise for the future” PR stunt, that Brad even refused to talk about on his promotions for WWZ.

Jennifer is getting so sick of these tit for tat, or making it look like Jennifer is always trying to one up Jolie, when it is the other way around. If I were Jennifer from now on, I would make damn certain as to who knows anything about my life, my business propositions, etc.

She’s been seen wearing a sort of band ring on her wedding finger before; it draws speculation and attention which is most likely why she does it. I laughed when the paps asked “Angie is that a wedding ring?”….and she surly snarled, “No!, It’s NOT!” as she got into her car. I don’t think Brad could put a ring on her finger now if he stapled one on. I truly believe she’s outgrown him now (in her mind).@Dream:

How could she carry that off, though, with the doctor and brad both involved? Or maybe she does carry the gene, had the surgery and timed the release of the news to coincide with the wwz premiere and to beat out jen. Was brad in on it? Where they both share the same public relations firm maybe things are getting back to brad through their publicists? That woman is nukkin futs for sure.

She lost her mother to Kidney Cancer….and that was one of the things that brought her and Richie Sambora together, because his father was also battling cancer at the time.

Unfortunately, most caucasian women don’t have those features. Can you please name one in HW?? I surely don’t know one in HW. The latest crop of HW Starlets are so blah.. Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jessica Chastain, I can’t even think of the girl’s name who appears with Leo in the Great Gatsby, Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway.. There’s nothing magnetic about them.. Without make-up and designer clothes they are average looking women that you see everyday in a grocery store or at your nearest Mall. You don’t look at them on screen and say WOW!! what beauty’s.. Believe me in 10 years, most of them will be doing docu-drama’s on HBO.

The actress in the Great Gatsby is Carey Mulligan and she’s gorgeous, a natural beauty. So is Jessica Chastain. And they are both talented actors, especially Jessica. Jolie’s beauty is the result of numerous plastic surgeries. You only need to look at her photos over the years to see how dramatically her features have changed. The fat nose and bug eyes are gone, the weak chin has been replaced by implants and she now has cheek bones, thanks to implants, that she never had before. We won’t even talk about the lip injections. I’ll go along with the eye color being hers. Maybe.

In 10 years angie will be lucky if she has the opportunity to be doing docu-dramas. She hasn’t had a real movie role since the tourist in 2010 other than cartoons.

‘According to Lainey ” Based in Canada not even Toronto” Gossip says Brad’s movie has to make $600 million to break even on $190 mil budget. Then Johnny’s “Lone Ranger” must have to generate $750 mil since it was budgeted at $250 mil. Superman ” Man of Steel” has to do $675 mil since its budget is $225 mil. According to Lainey’s mathematical calculations, Are there any box office hits in HW ??.. Damn a movie budgeted at $35 mil would have to generate $110 mil just to break even. To be considered profitable to a studio, I guess it would have to make $ 150 mil plus.
Congrats to Brad for making $118 mil in three days worldwide.

all this talk about the impressive money wwz has made to me is a bit premature as it must still run against new movies coming out in the following weeks. as for all this talk about peepaw overseas fame i do not really see it we in south africa do not get alot of movies but those that go tho the theaters are really not peepaws fans as most our youth and 20 to 30 do not even really know him and have no interest in the brand. she is mostly know for lara croft and that is it and he is just bland and not a good actor. we pay R60 for a movie ticket and that is a lot of money in these difficult times of high unemployment .
although the movie made some money they must still deduct the movie houses share and then the rest is to pay off the budget and the pr money after that it is then only profit. do they total in the people working behind the scenes salaries as well so yes it must make 600 mill to be profitable. which i doubt it will as for depp his star is fading as well so i hope he makes profit on this movie. jmo

    @guest 3:

“World War Z beat projections and earned an estimated $66 million at the domestic box office. Even if those numbers end up a little high, it’s still way better than the official projection of $40 million. World War Z, toothless adaptation of a beloved zombie classic.

Of course, it still came in second to Monsters University, which took in $82 million, but WWZ’s strong runner-up showing, and its B+ CinemaScore with audiences, means it should carry well into its second weekend, when it faces White House Down (which I’ve heard is abysmal, but I’m not sure that’s going to matter to people who want to see White House Down). Paramount is certainly crowing about their “victory”, claiming WWZ is the highest-opening original live action since Avatar. That would be true, if it weren’t an adaptation. I’m not sure how “adaptation” is equaling “original” here, unless they mean that it’s not coming from a pre-existing franchise.

That’s the game Paramount is playing, though. There’s some magic math and studio double-speak going on, because the other alternative is to be totally honest and admit that while it opened better than they expected, it cost so much to make and market they can never really achieve blockbuster status. They’re celebrating breaking even at best. It started with that lowball opening projection of $40 million, even when the box office analysts finally moved the line to $50 million late last week, Paramount stayed on their original projection—because it would look better if they beat it by a wider margin.

With a reported budget of $190 million (which seems…low), and another hundred million in marketing, WWZ will need to earn $600 million to break even (about 50% of box office goes back to the theater owners). Again, we’re just talking about BREAKING EVEN. All this is in service of not losing money, not actually making it. Can WWZ make a profit? Well, it’ll take a couple weeks to clear $100 million domestically, and this summer is super crowded, with major releases every weekend. The all-important international box office wasn’t quite as strong as domestic, not a good sign, and they’re shut out of the lucrative Chinese market. So it’s not likely. WWZ’s box office is a war of attrition.

And it’s not just Paramount’s pride on the line here. This was the hardest Brad Pitt has hustled in YEARS, and it paid off in not getting egg all over his face. WWZ isn’t remotely what it should have been, but Pitt isn’t embarrassed, either. And he’s being rewarded, not only with a better-than-expected opening but he’s getting the sequel the lame ending begged for. So we’re celebrating mediocrity with…more mediocrity.

It’s this triumph of mediocrity and it makes me nervous. WWZ was dumbed-down entertainment. When Brad Pitt threw down with Leonardo DiCaprio for the rights, everyone thought it would be the movie that finally won one of them an Oscar. That it could have done for horror what Lord of the Rings did for fantasy—make the Academy sit up and take a genre film seriously. Instead they made a castrated, family friendly zombie movie which is like being the toughest poodle. Because they’re going to make just enough money to avoid cratering their accounting department, Paramount is calling this a win and will make more of this generic crap. This is where the studio system fails—it would be better if breaking even was treated like what it is: a participation ribbon.”

    Congrats to no one……..

Then there’s Wimbledon. And no one to ask who they think will win. And why did the British hope, Andy Murray, develop the mind-set that he “may never win Wimbledon”? And, now that Nadal is out, and Federer is not as young, (tho still dangerous), can’t he be a bit more optimistic? After all, the mind can make you win, as well as lose. Oh, well!

I had to answer yes, but point out, not intimately. So I then asked if there was anyone she might have a special interest. She looked at me with an eager expression, and asked about the Kardashians. All I could think of was that time moves on very rapidly.
With that in mind, I remember that many “desirable” celebrities have an awful lot of help to make them that way. A lot! Wigs, toupees, nips and tucks, dye jobs, photoshopping, etc! etc! As someone used to remind us: “Fings ain’t what they seem!”

There is simply more space between the aisles and you have a tray that you can swing in front of your chair. You order the food prior to seating and then they deliver it to you at your seat. Very popular here and I believe there are plans for another dinner theater. It’s a fun, fun, fun place to go with family and friends, and HIGHLY recommend more of such theaters in the future! :) @WR:

My opinion is she is an amazing young actress and I am so happy to see her class of acting in the younger generation. Plain? There is nothing plain about her, except she doesn’t rely on trickery, makeup or surgical enhancement. She is a pretty young woman who can act circles around most of Hollywood … and goofy as heck. Congrats to Brad Pitt.. Bad Press means Poor opening.. It opened at $118 mil worldwide. They’re now talking about a sequel.. You don’t work in the film industry.. so, you don’t know how the studios/film industry works. There’s an article if you care to use Google about why certain movies are made into to sequels.. They actually used the Angelina’s movie as an example. It seems the public never knows how much a movie makes.. Lara Croft was made for $65 mil however the studio was out of pocket for only $9 mil and made big bucks cuz they sold the International Movie Rights that offset the production costs. So they made dollar for dollar or 55 % for whatever the Domestic totals . In the article, it referred to the Backroom deals of HW.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding.. Barely broke even .. It’s budget was very low , it seemed like it made a gazillion

Who are the top five male movie stars.. Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Leo Di, and Johnny Depp. Why? because they are International stars. Will didn’t fare well with his last movie.. But, if their movies don’t do well domestically they will make it up overseas, DVD’s, movie rentals, etc.
In this particular article they talked about how HW is trying to make the younger actors happen or replace those five as they age.. They tried with the two Canadian Ryan’s, and some US actors.. But it’s not happening , they can’t open a movie so they resort to the BIG Five listed above for the big budgeted movies. . They bring the International appeal.

Girlfriend, if you really want to know and don’t work in the HW film industry or most likely never been to the US. .Use Google. We don’t work like Germany or Sweden or where ever you are from.

Hate speech is defined as bias-motivated, hostile, malicious speech aimed at a person or a group because of some of their actual or perceived characteristics. It expresses discriminatory, intimidating, disapproving, antagonistic and prejudicial. Included are gender, race, religion, ethnicity, color, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation.Hate speech is intended to injure, dehumanize, harass, intimidate. The sad truth about bigotry is that most bigots either don’t realize that they are bigots, or they convince themselves that their bigotry is perfectly justified.”

Guest3, you have reached a very low level in your comments. I hope you read Stella´s comment above and think twice. Math is math and business works in the same way in all capitalistic countries. Even the movie industry works in the same way. Sequels are made on the same premises. Hollywood isn´t unique. You havn´t written one single comment that make sense. Before I have thought that you are a mean person. Now I think you are a stupid mean person. In fact I think you are even worse than stupid and mean but I will not use the same low level as you do in your comments. Read what you have written once more and ask yourself if this is how you want to be seen. Stupid, mean and arrogant.

There is a semi-outdoor, tiny theater a block from my place, where they show oldies on the big screen. The cost of a ticket is the same as the regular theaters. I think they do serve food and drinks. I already have too much of a backlog of movies to watch, so I’ll have to wait and see.@Togi:
I am also an admirer of the younger generation of serious actresses. Also, I have seen some excellent talent on the small screen. They are getting ready to premier the new season of “Downton Abbey” across the pond. Great talent on that show. Hope Shirley MacLaine makes more appearances. Don’t know if it was wise to put Paul Giamatti in the lineup. But they know what they’re doin’ and I don’t.

As I say some of the time, I meet many different types of people in my wanderings.
Today, a sm group of us, very different types, discussed the world of today. Mainly, it was the environment. Of course, each had a different pov. One extreme pov is that the world may be coming to a housecleaning kind of end. Another would say, nah, things will go on as it always has. Mine is to agree with them up to a certain point. Have done an awful lot of research on the end times, and could find nothing definite; i. e. concrete evidence.

So I thought to ask them about Brangelina. A couple expressed disgust. No kidding.
The man who happens to be Italian, said AJ isn’t beautiful. He feels BP is stupid, for leaving “That beautiful wife of his for that …..” And the one who happens to be Irish saw nothing appealing about BP. The others didn’t bother to address the question at all.

Incidentally, Liam Neeson joined the 20 million a picture, club. Now, here is a genuine talent; a masculine presence, so much needed in today’s entertainment world. The others already in, are: Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr. and Brad Pitt.

It’s hard to guage the prospects of the Lone Ranger movie. Consensus seems to favor Johnny Depp’s interpretation of Tonto. But, will westerns still draw the crowds?

    Night, world!

And there are many people who doesn´t think the US people, or rather the movie directors , are smarter than people in other business and countries. Today, in the modern world, we all depend on each other. What happens in China affects what happens in US and vice versa. It´s the same with the whole world wide economy. Even the moviebuissness depends on it. Guest 3 seems to think people in Hollywood sits on an isolated island independent of the rest of the world. It´s very unsymphatetic to downgrade people outside the US like Guest 3 does. US isn´t the best, the biggest and most beautiful country in the world anymore. In fact, it has never been but som US citizens has believed and still believs it´s in that way. Guest 3 is one of them.

most people with a brain switch off as soon as a celeb starts talking about world events as they live the life of the rich and famous and really have no idea about what really goes on in this world. do u really think mr jolie and miss joho jolie are telling us what we do not know already and so not one war monger or war lord is going to stop the rapes and the killing of poor innocent people because she says so what a bloody laugh.
instead of preaching to others about how wonderful they are go out and help the poor and hungry in your country or donate ever month to a good cause. I give where i can and i think that i most likely give more than your idols on the little bit i have but i do not preach and tell governments what to do in their countries i pray for them and ask God to help. praying is also another way of helping. jmo

So many of us feel so safe and isolated here, that we’re on the top of the heap looking down at the rest of the world. Makes me sad for my country and fellow countrymen. Especially all the good, kind and decent Americans, of which there are many. One of the things I like about IUC is that voices from around the world mingle here. I read Guest3’s message last night and walked away. I really like Siska and enjoy reading her posts, but I didn’t want to get into an argument with someone who appeared to just want to make posters angry. I have been busy, so I haven’t spent as much time here lately. Which makes me wonder, why does someone take the time to post on a website where they don’t like the posters due to not agreeing about celebrities of all things. So, is she a previous poster that went under another name? Did she move or ? Anyway, Guest3 appears to have self-esteem issues.

IMO, the United States is a wonderful place that I call home. However, I wasn’t born here and my previous home is also wonderful. My grandparents came from Europe and I dream of one day being able to visit and see and enjoy the beautiful scenery and cultures that made them who they were. I received pictures via email the other day of places around the world that are absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful places such as Plitvice Lakes, Victoria Falls, Seven Sisters, Swiss Alps, and I could go on. The only place listed in the U.S. was the Grand Canyon. While we are all located in different areas, we all share the same planet.

A couple of days ago, we had north-eastern weather. It rained for two days and it was warm and humid! Not normal at all. Today and through the weekend we are going to experience triple-digit weather (up to 112 degrees in some areas).

As long as people acts like “loons” and attacks a group of undefined people I have no problems to ignore stupid comments. But when someone points out a certain group of people being stupid or less worth than others because they don´t live or work in a special place in the world I can´t keep quiet. I can´t accept foolish garbage. I agree there are many directors in Hollywood. Some of them are really good. But they don´t count the money. Business is business and it follows the same rules all over the world.

And what Jansa said, celebs should be celebs and the reasons why they should , are very true.

But now I´m done with Guest 3 and next time she comes here I will keep quiet. If she uses another signature I hope I still will recognize her. There are only a few persons who are as stupid as her so it wouldn´t be too hard.

The vast majority of loons are stupid and ignorant as we see from their comments here and on other sites. In fact, the only one I can think of who isn’t is lizE and I don’t understand why she supports them unless she is connected to them in some way. What kind of a fan goes to a site where they know their celebrities are disliked? It’s either someone who wants attention or is paid to cause disruption or to cast them in a positive light. Fortunately for us, there are very few who come here. It’s much more prevalent at FF where they continually disrupt threads especially the jen thread. It used to be fun to go there to catch up on jen news but the loons have made it much more difficult to read through it. I think that’s done deliberately. And while I agree with UTC I too have responded to “it” even after I told myself I wouldn’t do it anymore. NYC is a cosmopolitan city where celebrities move about freely and people from all over the world live there. g3 does not represent New Yorkers or America. It is an idiot.

@Patty Anne: Either you or Ian got his dates wrong. Mr & Mrs Smith did not begin shooting until January of 2004. Then Brad left the production to film Ocean’s Twelve from April thru July 2004. In May of 2004 he also went with Jen to Cannes to premiere Troy, not Ocean’s Twelve. Jolie was sleeping with JLM at the time, not Pitt. They announced their separation in January of 2005. In March during the reshoots Aniston filed for divorce. Almost a month later the first picture of them together on a beach in Kenya is taken. In May, Jolie goes to London to break things off with JLM.

@Reality Bites:you should just give up already, both Jolie and brad already admitted that they fallen in love at the set of the movie, and even their producer of that movie admitted about the affair that made Jen kick brad out of their home. The dates that you mention it’s a pr spin,to maintain their image. Sometime love happen and for most actors or actress mostly happen at the set, remember the movie start preparation way before the actual shoot. That’s way they said pre production, production and post production. Making movie took years of pre. And the actors usually doing screen test before the actual shoot.
But if you and your other similar brangie fans still want to maintain their “no cheating ” image,it’s your right anyway. It just must be so tiring to keep making excuses when your idol already admit it . He,,he.

@jansa: Well, technically that divorce was already granted (Aug 23, 2005) when she got pregnant. They must have celebrated a bit too much. It just was being filed in Ca which is a rare state that requires a waiting period for the divorce to make on the books.. they have a lot of documents to process so it takes longer. The courtesy waiting period to see if a couple can make it work would generally be between the announcement of a separation and the filing of a divorce. After that lawyers are used to communicate with one another for the most part.

@Siska: So that means Nicole Kidman is in on the lie about dates? If you change the dates of Mr&Mrs Smith, you then have to change the dates for Troy premieres, Alexander premieres, Alexander filming.. I mean once you start you suddenly have a mountain to move around and not a mole hill. Not possible. Jolie had to finish Alexander filming to begin and Brad had to finish Troy when Kidman dropped out because of how long Stepford Wives was running. Also the producer and the director admitted the stars hadn’t met each other until the first day of filming, so their chemistry was unknown. Also the Isreali producer even got the dates of the vacation to Anguilla with David and Courtney incorrect. He claimed Brad moved in with him after Ansiton “found out” and during shooting, but that is not true. They were very much together still through that last vacation and decided to separate then. He moved immediately into a cottage at the Chateau Marmot and there was no filming for M&MS at that time. Filming started back up in March around the same time as the divorce being filed. And the studio didn’t want to bury a so called affair since it was going to help ticket sales. Curiosity sold a lot of tickets. Why “cover” up anything. I am also not buying that Ansiton would blatantly lie all these years as well about the dates and what happened. Besides Ansiton began dating Vince the summer of 2005 and yet we do not accused her of cheating on Brad while married. During a divorce and especially by the summer when they were at the end of the divorce and it was about to be granted in Aug.. each person is free to see who they want.

Here is an example of how the laws apply here in California (true story). A man and a woman (who had filed for a divorce) became involved to the point where they were talking marriage. Anyway, she became pregnant with this man’s child and they had even picked out names. A week before her divorce was to become finalized, he had to leave town for a business trip for a week. When he returned, the woman had decided to go back to her husband. Legally, the woman’s husband is the child’s father. The biological father is not allowed any visitation rights to the child. So, up until the day the divorce is finalized you are still legally married in the state of California.

Jolie herself made the comment about their kids seeing the movie where their parents fell in love. You can justify the timelines all you want and maybe you are right or maybe not but the perception by most is, and ALWAYS WILL BE, that jolie wrecked the aniston-pitt marriage. Nothing they do will change that. Pitt can talk all he wants about being bored in the marriage but all it does is make him look a cad.

Yea, that’s it, they must have “celebrated” too much….. CA is not a “rare state” that takes longer process divorce documents. It only takes 6 months to finalize. If people can’t keep it in their pants for 6 months….then they are in lust more than love….with no respect for the other person’s situation or current partner, imo.

When Jen was filming the final episode of ‘Friends’ in Jan of ‘04, Brad wasn’t there with her. Sometime, prior to that, joLIE came on the set of ‘Friends’ to (supposedly) meet Jen….so joLIE was already playing her fucked up head games in ‘03. The filming of MMS was stretched out over ‘04-’05….during that time, Vince Vaughn told Brad to GO HOME to his wife. Everyone on the set knew what was happening, they were making everyone uncomfortable, as a matter of fact. This is ancient history anyway….the fact is, joLIE is a homewrecking whore! Nothing has changed that.

IAN ,did not make an error in his book. Patty quoted the book. It is the way it was edited. Brad and Jennifer went to Cannes in 2004: not 2003. When it refers to Cannes, the reference is to 2004, but the wording is ambiguous. Ian makes it clear in his book they began the affair “within weeks of filming” and that was Jan. 2004. We have argued this timeline for many years. It is pointless now, they did cheat, there were many on set that today still talk about it, and DL blabbered about it a private functions while it was happening in very graphic terms. Now that is over. Brad does not hate Jen, and Jen does not hate Brad , by their own admission. They have the same networks and it you mapped it, you would realize just how played this is. imho.. hat is the reality. It is just biz, and luv has very little to do with it. Again imo. I am only commenting on this bc I don’t think it is fair for Party to keep getting called out on this, all she did was quote..

I agree they were free to see each other once she filed, she was seeing Vince, if you want to really call it that, and we know what he was doing. It is well documented, and no point going thru this all over again, what his intentions were in the early months. It just does not matter.. I thought it was interesting he rated up there with the other two boys , Will, Tom, and Brad. We have 3 Super stars who all live in relationships that are questioned by many, and are known to be a fraud by their peers. Hmm. Then there is the comment he made in that first interview when asked if he would marry again. It could be a episode on FRIENDS, not screaming, just respecting the show..it would be called, “The One He Said Softly”… samcc..now why has he never hotter married, is it the the triangle that made the headline , or the one from that episode? lol… 50/50

, Oh, one more thing, one of those two who said they did not meet, is the same one who privately spilt the deeds and lied later to the public when the tabloids hit the news, which was ahem , suggested, was done intentionally to drive up interest in the film, from his own mouth…set photos, and there are set photos and set video that contradicts the, it was after Larry, it was after”..lol…but just to drive make sure this is clear, Many have seen them, including , me. I think is nice that a Brange fan defends their honor that they did not cheat, because there are far too many that get all emotional, and mushy watching the unrated uncut love scene from MMAS and say straight up they believe they were having hot sex, and how lucky Brad was to get it, and too bad for blah blah blah…and that is a sad state of our world when women can rally on a cheating husband because it turns them on. What an amazing role model their sons and daughters. It is one thing to understand a complicated situation and have a little compassion, but yikes, are we in s Roman Collesium

@Up the Coast: Brad was missing because they had just began filming Mr & Mrs Smith and they needed to get as much done as possible before Brad had to break to film Ocean’s Twelve. Jolie never “went to the Friends set to met Aniston”. Both claimed they randomly ran into one another on the Warner Brother Studio property and in passing said hi. Not exactly the same as Jolie showing up on the set of Freinds for a tête-à-tête. Vince’s quote has no source except a tabloid. And as for saying now they fell in lvoe while filming.. well hindsight is 20/20. And filming extended until the same time as the divorce filing. And as for Jolie’s notorious home wrecking.. she must be the most successful one in history to never have any conclusive proof of wrong doing during a marriage and managing somehow to get everyone involved including the jilted parties to stay mum. She is all myth and no concrete evidence. She at least should get kudos for pulling that off.. if it is true.

Do you consider the NYTimes a tabloid? That is the paper that quoted her as saying, her and Bradlee fell in love during the making of MMS. It’s also the paper she chose to announce her new boob job. I agree that it brings the NYTimes down to the level of a tabloid, but I guess it sells papers. As for the “Vince quote”, I didn’t read that in a tabloid, I heard it from someone I know personally who was on the set! So you can try to re-write history all you want….but I already have conclusive proof of what kind of woman AJ is.
Now…how about her incestuous brother lovin’??? How do you want us to remember THAT digusting mess? :)

You know what I think is the most interesting re-write of all? Brad decided at one point, and you will remember this because they tried very hard to say that Jolie adopted Zahara all on her own, and technically that is true, but they planned it together while he was still marrried. Reality Bites can try to deny that, but Brad admitted it in a interview. (No, I will not go link it) Furthermore , that was backed up by others when he admitted. Now the only thing to debateon this is, did he lie before when he told his friend at dinner, he had no intention marrying her, this aS just for fun, that is a nice way to put it, or did he lie later to build a foundation for Zahara? I can definitke understand the latter and think Jen would even go along with it because she is an empathic soul. At the same time there is a mountain of evidence that supports he was actively involved in the process from day one. Jolie began leaking little tidbits as the years went by and h finally just admitted it , because as he sais, “isn’t there a stattute of limitations” on these things, and he was exasperated. I get that . He is in the middle, trying to balance kids he loves, publicly honor the motherr as he should, and not puss off his ex who he still needs , for whatever reason. Biz, secrets, who knows.I bet between Angelina and Jennifer , those two ladies could send him into exile without hurting their own careers one bit. What did he say, “we planned our family early, starting with Zahara” paraphrased.. yes he’d did,, this was after mama had told everyone he was there for the 2nd home visit and they laughed when the social worker implied they were in it together. Very very sly AJ.. Strike that from the record..sorry Brad..too late. Everyone got it, now raise your right hand and tell the truth…lol .

@Kate: Zahara was born in January of 2005. Jolie and Pitt went together to Ethiopia to see her and sign the papers for Jolie to adopt her. The home visit would be shortly before since she has already adopted previously and two after the adoption. Either would be after the divorce began and during the time they freely admit to being a couple.

And for the record I do not idolize “the whore”. I find it curious that so much is piled on her notched belt without any real evidence. My mother cheated on my father and left us when I was 6. Believe me I have no love for cheaters and cheating. I do however find this situation beyond fascinating since all three pretty much stick to their story while the world claims to know more and better then the three involved.

On the cheating, there are too many who saw them. That is not even up for debate anymore. They have all moved on from it, the only ones who have not is the media, and the fans. It is a non issue at this point. Jennifer has supported Brad in some of his past projects well after he became a daddy. Whatever issues there are now with these aging actors and actresses, is not that. I suspect trying to slide out from under the latest slab of baloney is a bit stressful. Maybe there will be another Jodi Arias and no one will Cate and they can l just slither out. lol and get on with their lives without looking sideways.

If the first one is Jolie wanting revenge the only thing that makes sense on the 3-5 is how it relates to either kids or total family unit.

They already admitted ,so why you so hard pressing on painted that Jolie is innocence ? But whatever we said, you and your kind will never believe it anyway, so why keep talking in circle?
I am Jen fans, and I admitted that Jen and Justin relationship also might involving messy stuff like cheating and stuff, even though jusjen still never admitted that their fallen at the set,but the photo evidence were there just like brad and Angie. Brangie actually admitted, finally.
For you keep on saying about the time line of their relation basic on what their pr spin it,it’s a bit gullible.
Remember Jen and brad still represented by the same agent.
You can spin it all you can, but the fact still there. And so what? They all move on and happier with their new partner, for how and when it’s all began,on the end they seem find better partner for themself.
The difference was Jusjen pr spin never drag mud at Justin ex. Not like Jen who keep being accuse of the selfish wife who denied her hubby a kid or a loser by direct or indirect pr spin of Brangie .

:) Between TC and BP, it’s my opinion that TC is by far the BETTER actor. I always love his his characters because I do like characters that are confident and with swagger. (Perhaps this is why I love cats, Australian Cattle Dogs and Corgis so much! lol) I haven’t seen a lot of BPs newer movies because the subject matter hasn’t appealed to me. KTS and TOL, never saw and have no plans to do so. Money Ball was pretty good. Loved the young actor in it! And WWZ really is an exciting ride. I mean, it takes only MINUTES into the movie for it to get up and go. Just crazy fun and highly entertaining. Never seen BP in anything like this before. We didn’t go to see it because BP was in it, but because we wanted to see a ZOMBIE movie. hahahha. The older I get, the more I really don’t care what people do with their private lives. Though many of my “religious church” friends TRUMPET otherwise, I am completely THRILLED about my GAL friends and family being able to marry. I can’t believe how much flack I get for voicing my feelings on this issue. One of my favorite workouts is INSANITY, put together by the GORGEOUS Shaun T. Already pretty much KNEW he was gay and everyone around him knew, but he recently came out publicly. It made me so happy to see him happy about it. And even happier to see that BY FAR MOST people supported him. Also, now I’m hopeful for my cousin, who has spent the last 17 years with the love of her life. I may rot in hell (I somehow don’t think so :) ), but I am happy as heck today.

So true UTC! I’m wouldn’t even begin to classify myself as a “political” person … mostly because I HATE politics and all the vitrol and division they cause. This is one of the few issues I have no qualms about speaking up about. I’ve had so many discussions about it with brothers and sisters in Christ. A sin is a sin is a sin, and to put one sin below (or above)another (with the exceptions of murder and all other personal and physically violent acts) is nothing more than POLITICAL! I am SO much my father’s daughter … he was always playing Devil’s Advocacy during arguments. When people were black and white in their thinking, he would just automatically take the opposite stance and argue it. The argument isn’t so muh whether or not someone is right or wrong, but that there is ALWAYS more than one freaking side to a coin. hahahahha. @Up the Coast:

Thanks for the link, Guest2. After reading it, I went to the comment section to see what folks had to say about it. Not surprisingly, most comments attacked the author. You know … the typical accusations of being “a far left liberal,” and “blaming society,” blah blah blah. Forget the fact the author wasn’t BLAMING anyone. He was simply explaining WHY he saw Aaron Hernandez’s case as a REFLECTION of today’s society. Anytime anyone states a different point of view, their own character is assassinated by those who disagree. Ridiculous. Another sad reflection of our society. Kind of makes you sad to think of where we’re headed, doesn’t it. :( @Guest2:

BTW … where the heck have I been? I didn’t know JayZ was a “former” drug dealer. How does someone become a “former” drug dealer in the world of drugs? ANYWAY, regardless of that small point, I am now absolutely appalled that even a FORMER drug dealer would be welcomed into our country’s White House. A former drug dealer can be welcomed into our White House, but a woman on a TV channel can be torn down because of a racial slur she used long ago. Wow. Yep. Political correctness is a one-way street. :(

Yes it is! No one is up in arms by what Alec Baldwin says….why? He said hateful things just yesterday. In our attempt to please everyone, we are now fighting for the right to murder babies and defending thugs who walk around emulating gang bangers in prison yards. Is there even any clear lines between right and wrong anymore? IDK. The motto seems to be: Don’t Judge. But our human instincts do not work that way…we were made to ‘judge’ our surroundings in order to survive. They have turned us into robots and sheeple…and they are killing us for profit.

This is my personal take on righteous judgment. Does an action hurt another in a physical or psychological way? If the answer to that question is “yes,” then it is MY RESPONSIBILITY to make my own judgment. If it isn’t hurting anyone else and it is something that I am merely uncomfortable with, then I feel compelled to NOT judge. So many issues that should be non-issues are over-examined and dwelled upon. Issues that are causing harm to MANY, MANY people are being ignored because everyone is afraid to say something wrong. A single photo of the mass gatherings in Egypt tell me people, in numbers, CAN do something. There is still hope for us. Always hope.

So many celebrities, politicians, and sport stars do/say many things that are bad, but aren’t hung out to fry like this.

I honestly don’t know anything at all about Paula Deen. I’ve never seen her on TV before … have only seen her face on publications. As far as what she said and when, I don’t know anything about that, either, except whatever it is she said supposedly took place a long time ago. I’m just guessing that what she said or did way back when (people DO change their opinions after gaining experience and knowledge, after all) couldn’t possibly have been worse than someone being a “former” drug dealer. I could be wrong. Been wrong before. But that’s my current uneducated guess.

Here’s another thing I’ve noticed about the Aaron Hernandez case. I’m a HUGE football freak, so I am following this case closely, myself. I’ve noticed that it seems to be quite alright to downright CONVICT Hernandez in the media. I haven’t read the word “alleged” much in articles pertaining to him. Quite different from the Boston Marathon bombers, who are called “alleged bombers.” I wonder if Hernandez’ case would be different if his name was Henderson, and he was either white or black. What if he was white and killed a black man. What if he was white and killed a black man. What if he was black and killed a black man. What if he was white and killed a white man? It should ALL be the same, regardless of whether he is Hispanic, Asian, black, white, or pink. Whether he’s Muslim, Jewish, Christian. These are just observations and nothing more. :) @WCKitty:

Everyone should be equal no matter their race, religion, sexual preferences, or what side of the tracks you were born on, but unfortunately it is not always the case. I haven’t followed either of these cases due to taking care of other things, so I guess I need to catch-up. I used to watch every 49er and Raider game. Then the Raider games started being “blacked-out” due to not selling out, so I quit following the Raiders. I have seen many of hispanics who consider themselves white. Over the years, I have read this, as well as heard from their own mouths. Even some brown-skinned mexicans have adopted the “I am white” persona. It’s mainly because, and it’s widely known in “latin” countries, that darker-skinned people are looked down on as being inferior. This is why I have observed decades of mexicans exhibiting an inferiority complex. And it still goes on. As they gain more power, it has lessened somewhat, however.

In fact, a hispanic professor told us, his students, twenty years ago, that “Mexico is the most racist country in the world!” In fact, most countries south of the border are racist. This is generally true; however, there are always exceptions as one gets to know them. Refreshingly, so!
I’ve lived among them for decades; and I continue to do so. I observe them every day. I cannot wear blinders, when they use the race card in order to get primary jobs, over other racial minorities. Indeed, I have seen first-hand that they sometimes thwart the efforts of less-populated minorities circles to better themselves.

But this is definitely going to take too much time and effort to explain even tho I’m observing it clearly. Basically, they are in competition for primary jobs, and their methods of lionizing our affirmative action policies is understandable, but never will be justified, imo. But then, I hear it from other people when we have our talking circles. Some are in favor of getting rid of affirmative action, as it was supposed to be for blacks, mainly.

In our church, the ministers have been quiet regarding the recent Supreme Court ruling. It may be because at the present, they are still smarting from the lawsuits from the victims of pedophilia. They don’t seem to want to talk about it, voluntarily.
It could be they are waiting for parishioners to express outrage before they address the issues of non-traditional marriage. Or, they could be waiting for a directive from the Vatican.
Sometimes it seems to me as if there’s an elephant in the room.

Much of our joyful singing has been curtailed. We sing, or try to sing modern hymns. The meaning is there, but the tunes are so lame. Some love it, and others miss the old days of joyful, robust singing.

Yes, I very much agree that our society seems to be on the brink of deep, deep trouble. But where will the first salvo come from, I could only guess. Some of my acquaintances are amazed that WWIII hasn’t yet started. But, there is a site that claims it HAS started. I’ll withhold that info, at least for now.

It’s almost as if it’s the 11th hour. Don’t want to make anyone panicky or fearful. But the current climate of morality has been prophecied for a long time. It’s even written out. So what to do? Repent, is the word I get from some clergy. Repent. They add that now is the time to build up a strong defense against what’s coming; i.e. the ultimate challenge to our faith. Again, this is written out. The seers are unanimous in stating that Almighty God has the last word. If we repent, he will grant us peace. But we have to repent one way or the other. Voluntarily, or involuntarily. The former is when we put ourselves in His care; pray; make sacrifices; give alms, and fight evil in our society.
Involuntary repentence is when we are inundated with wars, diseases, collapsing of our finances, and family structure among many negative things.
This is what I’ve read from much research materials. It makes sense to me.
I always remind myself that I’m right in the middle of all this. I, too, must repent!
    Good night, all!

wr yes we are in bad times and whether it is near the end or not we all must repent which means ask forgiveness and not sin any more. some people think that after being forgiven u can then sin and ask time and time again well i am sure it does not work that way. but i try not to judge and it is hard as we are all only human but to mean the 10 commandments are law and i try not to break then, but the youth are still going through the trail and error stage i am sure some will get there so than later. our world is in turmoil and i pray that things will turn around that is why i cannot understand that the world thinks that any hollywood star is a role model for the young as they are all fake well most of then and flaunt their immoral lives while telling us how to live and what we should give when they live flamboyance lives and hoard riches and over indulge in everything. jmo

WE have the power to turn “things” around. All we have to do is STOP idolizing immoral people. Don’t allow our children to look up to people who are not decent role models. Just because our slavemasters have brainwashed us into thinking the lives of these unholy people are what we should aspire to, doesn’t mean we have to do it. WE have free will, and we need to start using it!!!! Before it’s too late. Thuggery is nothing new, it’s been around for ages….we know where it leads.

Yes, by coincidence, there was talk about the role of entertainers, on The View, this morning. The subject, being Miley Cyrus. Only saw snippets of the discussion. Whoopi emphasized that MC is no longer Hannah Montana; that she was a performer portraying Hannah.
Sherry, and the male guest co-host said that they, being parents are the role models for their children. All right and good, said another, but like it or not, entertainers are being held up as role models. Had to leave, but basically, that seems to be the way the discussion went.

In my church, as we sin, we are called to reconciliation. That isn’t as easy as it sounds. And it’s as easy as it sounds. The individual sinner makes it so.

The reason it intrigued me, is the question of whether AJ took pictures while he was high-as-a-kite, and now has solidified their partnership by her possession of same? Methinks he could spin any reveal in any way he pleases, so that the public will brush it off. Also, he’s got the media under his thumb, so it will do as he commands. If not, he’ll zap them and turn them into zombies, Ha!
And yet,…can he take the chance?

    http://www.opposingviews.com/i/society/guns/zimmerman-prosecutor-angela-corey-indicted-allegedly-falsifying-arrest-warrant

The George Zimmerman defense has recently gotten a lucky break. Angela Corey, Florida’s state attorney and the prosecutor against Zimmerman, has been indicted by a citizens’ grand jury for allegedly falsifying an arrest warrant and the complaint that led to Zimmerman being charged with the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin. The indictment accuses Corey of allegedly withholding photographs of Zimmerman’s head after the incident. Also, Corey allegedly falsely signed an arrest warrant under oath without including the pictures as evidence. Critics claim that Corey rushed the arrest warrant through because activists were rallying around the Trayvon Martin shooting, demanding that Zimmerman be charged with murder. Critics argue that Corey was attempting to secure a reelection with the support of the activists.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz stated that Corey’s actions were unethical and illegal.

So many questions that will never get answered because the Martin family gets a pass. A little common sense, on both sides, could have saved this kids life…but he still would have ended up in trouble, because that was the path he was already on, imo. She claims Paula and her brother used repeated slurs and inappropriate language for a workplace and that the brother sexually harassed her and that her repeated complaints to Paula were ignored. So according to the manager suing this was happening less than five years ago. When Deen had her deposition she admitted to using a slur 20 years ago but swore she couldn’t recall ever using it since except for perhaps in jokes. Now apparently more people with complaints are coming forward.

Reports are they are increasingly popular in Germany. How low can the world go as evil seems to be everywhere, and becoming more accepted every day.

The other not so bad news, but very surprising is probably old news to many. But, for me, it’s quite big. It concerns Dubya. It’s reported he is not the real father of the twins. But that’s only part of the story. Who cares? Let him be?

True, the “church” teaches us many wise things. Unfortunately, the “church” is made up of human beings and all human beings, no matter who they are or where they are from, are sinners. Perfection came just once, and that was in the form of Jesus Christ. :) And THAT’s the Good News! I was raised Roman Catholic but left the church when I turned 18. I now call myself, simply, a Christian, and belong to no specific branch of Christianity. It always makes me sad when Satan worms his way into the hearts of GOD’s people! Satan LOVES to go big … he shoots for the BIG guys and gals, where he can get the most bang for his buck. Leaders in particular need to be on alert and careful! Sheesh, I hate when Satan worms his way into MY heart! BLECH. Once he gets there it is impossible to evict him without God’s help. So … while we all feel betrayed by the “church,” we need to keep in mind exactly WHO the “church” is. It is Jesus, the Son of God, who knew no sin. :) Keep the faith and believe in HOPE! :)

Mass nowadays, is not like the old days in terms of length and ceremony. The main ritual is, of course, the miracle we believe in, which is the bread and wine becomes the body and blood of Jesus, the Christ. That is the main focus. They have done away with a lot of participatory joyful celebrations. They do have the handshake greeting of participants. Even this is shunned by people who are conscious of germs being spread. But that’s just a few. The majority do reach out. Interestingly enough, there are those who hold back from greeting some, while shaking the hands of others.
