    hmm, don’t watch many sitcoms, would this have been when I was a kid or a teenager or now or when?

    Is he handsome, a dog, lol, married, have kids, no one to make a guess on this, can you throw out another clue here ? :)

    he’s been in the news for most of the past 15 years. Not sure if he’s a stud, depends how you view a stud.

    Charlie Sheen? If so…..I don’t think that would shock anyone.

    Could still be a shock if it was Sheen and someone 1) underage, and 2) male on video.

    @I’m on the bidet:
    They could write it into the script of his sitcom……at the end, he pours himself a scotch, and everyone laughs…….Oh Charlie, what are we gonna do with you? Hardy, har, har. ;)

    I don’t think Charlie Sheen would be described as legendary IMO unless his past activities are included as part of the legend. Ian, care to divulge if this sitcom is still on the air?

    Charlie Sheen had already been accused by his ex, Denise Richards, as being addicted to boy-on-boy porn.
    So that scandal would be old news.
    Another was that he made it known to any currnet s/o that he was to be free to indulge in being serviced by either sex. So that would be old news.

    Has to be someone we don’t associate with scandalous sexual behaviour; if it is to shock us!

    They could even rename the show to “Two and a Half Men and a Gallon of Vaseline”.

    Ugh, I didn’t know that about Sheen . . . I kind of avoided attending to anything about their ugly divorce proceedings. A sitcom star in the news for the past 15 years, but without any sex scandal . . . I’m at a loss, and will have to hope for more clues.

    I don’t think it’s Charlie Sheen because every major sex scandal involving him is already out. How could he get more scandalous. Besides he’s really been around for 25 yrs since the days of Wall St and only a sitcom star the past 10 yrs or so. Not to mention that his show is only big because there were no other sitcoms on for a few years.
    Major sitcoms in the last 15 years were Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier, Will & Grace.
    The Kelsey Grammer split and new girlfriend being pregnant is already out there so I’d rule him out.
    I’m gonna guess Seinfeld or Ray Romano only because the Friends guys have all been under the radar since Friends ended.

    The men of “Friends” have not reached legendary status, imo.
    I could almost say the same about Seinfeld and Ray Romano.

    Legendary is someone like Ted Danson. And it would be a huge shocker if it’s him.
    But would it be the end for anyone? Our society is forgiving about most scandals.

    oh goodie. . . I love celeb gossip! Firstly i’m going to say matt le blanc. Then courtney cox (if its possibly a woman) but my gut feeling is Jerry Seinfield sex scandal. . . . And as for Ted Danson- I’m a firm believes he’s bi or gay

    @Sparktwinkle:
    One thing Matt LeBlanc is not; and that is legendary!
    And he is bi, or gay!

    Ted Danson’s name was put out there as an example of one who has a solid gold image with most of the pubic, and that’s why it would be a shockeroo! Somebody like that.
    No one said it’s Ted Danson, btw!

    @HisHighness:
    In the new for the past 15 yrs? Seems like that applies mainly to movie actors.
    That, and he’s a legendary actor in sitcoms. Hmm.
    It couldn’t be Alec Baldwin. A couple of yrs ago, a New York paper quoted him as calling himself a homosexual. Nothing was made of it; or at least I hadn’t seen anything in print.
    Kelsey Grammer would certainly fit as a major star. He’s got a lot of emmys.
    Ted Danson managed to win one after all those nominations.
    I’m stumped for now.

    could it be Travolta?
    1) sitcom star (Welcome Back Kotter, iconic 70’s sitcom)
    2) been in the news a lot the last 15 years
    3) major sex scandal brewing

    Ashton Kutcher?, but I wouldn’t consider him legendary.
    Ted Danson, Michael J Fox, Bill Cosby were sitcom stars of the 80’s but not really doing much the last 15 years.
    I wouldn’t suspect Ray Romano, Jason Alexander or Eric McCormack. All three are married a long time with families (didn’t Jason Alexander just lose a lot of weight, isn’t that one of the signs of an affair).
    Baldwin and Seinfeld are the best guesses but not people I wouldn’t suspect. Maybe Steve Carrell, he’s leaving The Office to spend more time with his family. Could there be a reason for that? Definitely wouldn’t suspect him.

    The label, “legendary” is the stickler, here. But if one loosens a bit, here are more names who made in big in sit-coms in the last 15 yrs:
    Tony Shalhoub
    Tim Allen
    Michael J. Fox, Eric McCormack, Ted Danson, Steve Carell, Ricky Gervais, John Lithgow, John Goodman and Ray Romano were all nominated for, or won emmys in the last 15 yrs. But whether they were “in the news” during that period is open to question.
    My main guess would be Kelsey Grammer.

    @SparklingTwinkle:
    Well, they may have achieved “legendary” status; but I doubt it. Who remembers David Schwimmer besides us?
    The other two have been in the news, but nothing shocking, except that Matthew Perry had an addiction to a medication which threatened his life. He, thankfully, addressed his dependence and worked to overcome it.

    The key phrase is “He’s not a person you’d suspect.” Someone like Ted Danson, who was still being nommed for emmys in the last 15 yrs.

    Yeah and him being around 73 now you wouldn’t expect it from him, but if he’s really drugging women to get sex (creepy!!) and its a provable criminal offense rather than a civil case, that could end his public image.
