Do I really need the Demon of Babylon pontificating about something that more appropriate parties have already addressed? No. When she speaks, my initial reaction is to want to do the opposite of what she is advocating. When will she just STFU already?

As if anyone would care that Angie is furious about the plan to burn the Koran. She knows little about everything, and a lot about nothing imo. No one would be influenced by her opinion either way, she has never walked the talk, and only creates photo ops that she considers best in her own interests. I’ve read that after all these pleas for people in crisis/need she removes the native dress and returns to her five star luxury hotel.

If this know-it-all bitch knew at least as much as I do about Muslims and what they are really about, she would never defend their bloody book. They hate our world and would gladly see it erased or at least transformed into something similar to theirs. The world’s best-kept secret is that the world would be better off without Muslims. Go educate yourself, Angelina … then fuck yourself … and shut up! At least that’s something you are good at!

Oh the irony of the woman with $150 million dollars in the bank asking for the world to donate cash to Pakistan.

Oh the irony of a woman who has made her career on selling every detail of her sex life and body to the mass public donning a head scarf to talk religion to the world’s media.

Oh the irony of modern celeb-dom.

If we ever want to know what modern western society is about just take a look at this woman, she sums it up in a nutshell.

We have tax cuts for these idiots and everyone else who makes to much money. Were I live you can’t drink the water due to the coal, nuke plant and the changes made in the epa laws in the year 2000. If there was ever a time when a movie celeb was needed to speak out about non-biz news, it was when the Muslim woman who was caught in adultery was condemned to be stoned to death.
Now THAT would be a noble thing to do!

I understand the pastor has 50 people in his congregation. For a pastor, he has a hardened, almost evil look; so full of hate! He said that the christian religion is THE ONlY religion that is true. He has some mighty harsh words for anyone who isn’t of the christian faith. His stance is similar to the pastor from the midwest who is always condemning gay people to hell!
I can say unequivocally that the great majority of christians do not hold the above views.

Too many people hide behind their god to hate and do hurtful things. Christ was the first true socialist until greed got a hold of the word and destroyed it. I try to treat people like they treat me. If someone needs something and I have it I will gladly give. I was raised catholic and when to their schools, I couldn’t read well until 7 th grade but I new god hated me, I was a sinner and I’m going to hell and don’t trust other reglions, they will lie to you. This was reforced from 1st to 5th grade. I must have been a weak soul because I was scared for the longest time. Those nuns were evil unless you had money.

That was also my first thought about her ridiculous comment. She must not be aware that her fornicating and adulterous ways would get her stoned to death in the very country she’s pretending to help. Until she adds the corrupt govt. there to her list of long standing problems, the Pakistani people surely see her as just a mouth piece for the govt.
I agree with your take on this so called pastor, but maybe the real story here is the fact that the MSM chose to play this story to the hilt, while passing on many stories that we should be told about, like what is really going on in the Gulf. Or the real background of Obama.

Jolie is part of the corrupt goverment. Knows them all on first name basis. Isn’t that what they say? Her tax cuts alone would insure millions of kids and put less strain on the everyday peoples taxes, instead it buys big houses in other countries. Do you think those saved tax dollars t help pay for CEOs who like to repent by flogging so they could appease their god for their greedy ways? I read when one CEO like to be put naked in a dog cage with a collar and food in a dog dish, does their saved tax dollars pay for this?

I also hold the view that there are so many media manipulaters out there. And a zillion “cover-ups”.
Evildoing is being rewarded constantly. Not that we are saints, ourselves; but the media is hailing Angelina Jolie as a “saint”. What a twisted, perverted point of view!
And the pastor is using the bible to expound anti-christian ideals. Yet another media manipulator!
Be aware that all this was prophesied. And we are to not panic, but to hold true to our faith.

I think Angelina Jolie would be too frightened to go over to Pakistan, in person, to protest that unconscionable act by their government. She, however, would use that terrible tragedy for her self-promotion, if she can. And we already heard she owns the media.

I was also raised in catholic schools; well, orphanages. And we were subject to abuses. It happened not that often. But it did leave emotional scars.
Yes, we had the “you are a sinner, and sinners go to hell” declarations thrown at us. It was the temper of the times. Catholics, Protestants, and others.
It was extremely frightening! We were not only terrified but many lost faith. And they quit the Catholic faith. Whether they eventuallly re-embraced the faith in adulthood, is open to question.
Some of the seeds of faith were sown on good ground, after all. And these people have sailed strong with the advance of impossibly stormy seas. I guess it’s out of fear of the unknown that many held on for dear life!
I”ve thought about the nuns. Most were of a happy nature. Some had their bad days, and out would come the strap, or the ruler.
I once saw a young nun, who was in charge of children walking a path to the main building on the compound. Her face had an unearthly glow about her. It has been etched in my mind since childhood.

Yet, all in all, they gave us life instructions that would keep us afloat when we went into the dominant culture. All their lessons gave us strength when we had to face racism on a daily basis. Because they pounded in our young minds that we are all equal before God. And God does not see the color of our skin. He, however does see the color of our hearts. He KNOWS what we’re made of, they strongly stated!
So some of us keep on “running the race” despite our numerous stumbles!
But we are assured that this had to happen and relief will eventually come.

A few years ago there was a farmer in Central CA who had some trouble with the IRS. He was being audited and they were trying to “get” him for not paying taxes. He was an old timer and a smart one too. He would pay his workers 1 silver dollar an hour. So for an 8 hr day, he gave them 8 silver dollars. When he did his taxes, that is what he declared. At the time, silver was worth about $14 an ounce, so his workers were getting paid a fair wage. The workers were also declaring that they were getting paid $1 and hour in wages. This caused a problem, apparently, with the IRS. They felt like they weren’t getting their fair share. The case went to court, the farmer won the case. This story only made it as far as the small local paper. Can you imagine the problems the IRS would have if more people were as smart as this old guy? The govt. does NOT want us thinking for ourselves, they want us to use their bullshit paper money that they print up whenever they see fit. It’s as useless as credits on a video game, but their minions keep telling us how money is soo good, look how much I have, look at all my good fortune. Work your 40 hrs a week and we will put this many credits on your card………Then some stupid, no-talent whore gets paid 20 million dollars for acting in a movie…….It’s no wonder that people with common sense feel like we are all teetering on the brink of this fucked up reality our govt. has created for us. The good news is……..there are more people coming of age right now than ever before and we all remember the good old days when honesty really was the best policy. ;)

Thank you although I don’t feel deserving of such kind words.

It was my sis who taught us about movie stars. Don’t know how she got hold of the info way up there in the wild. She seemed to know so much about them. The effect of the stars to we who had nothing, was similar to the people during the depression flocking to see Shirley Temple, who brought positive messages to the suffering masses.
My late cousin was another who taught me; as she was based in San Francisco. She was into serious jazz, as well as show biz. She was a poet. She told me inside info about actors who she said were gay. Some of it totally surprised me! What a gaydar she had! I also met other women in SF who were blessed (?) with the ability to sense who was gay.
Example: Once I was watching tv in mixed company when a popular, much-awarded soap actor appeared on screen. Now this actor was also prominent for his part in a hugely popular western in the past.
A lady friend took a look at him and declared, “He’s gay!”
“No way!” I protested, he’s married and has at least one kid. But she just “knew”!
And now I hear inside stuff from many others.

Even with all that trivial knowledge, I still believe strongly that one cannot get too much of a serious education.

@alif: Grade school through high school was Catholic education. Oh to sit through first grade and chant: “1, 3, 5, 7, who will help us get to heaven, Sister Mary _____________________. I though was lucky to have a wise mother who tempered some of the “damnation & hell” pounded into our heads. Who knew those long rosary beads could be used as a weapon? Yet, the greatest gift I have been given was by a nun who reminded us every day that there would be no one we would meet that Jesus did not die on the cross for. I agree, a foundation was provided that we were all equal in the eyes of God. Oh, but the stories we tell when classmates get together. Our favorite is Marvin (real name). Marvin was obsessed with what was under their black robes and his poor parents spent so much time in the principal’s office because Marvin was constantly crawling down the hall on his hands and knees trying to look up their black robes. Blessings to you for your trials and positive attitude. And for Marvin, I hope you found what you were looking for.

Oh the arrogance of the woman to position herself front and centre in these atocious situations like it is all about her. Adopting the dress of the local women and a pained expression like she is on the ground living and suffering with them when the reality is she was parading around like a show pony in her sequined mini-dress with her trophy boyfriend to promote her dumb action flick only a matter of weeks ago. It is morally disgusting.

Did you all know by the way that donating $100,000 when you are personally worth $150 million is the equivalent of donating $20 when you’re worth $20,000? Let’s give the woman an award shall we.

I’ve only seen pictures of her on her “mission”, not the suffering that surrounds her. I feel the same way about what I consider her feeble donation (as do many others that have commented on different sites). It seems before every movie premiere she has coming up, she has a humanitarian mission to accomplish. If anyone can explain her apperance in NOLA I would appreciate it. I read conflicting reports – 1) she was with Pitt there for a short time, 2) they never crossed paths. I’m frankly tired of a woman who supposedly has “everything” appreciating nothing.

Getting some great press and some great feedback from the public with this one Angelina – uh, NOT. Looks like the world is not quite so keen on the “having it all” fantasy lifestyle you have shoved down our throats for so long now. Yes, people do see the incredible hypocrisy of pleading for people who have nothing when you have just splashed out on yet another $40 million mansion and stepped off your private yet and into your brand new Mercedes automobile. Good job your kids helped to “pack flashlights and food” for you like you were going camping hey? Bet they came in useful when the Merc broke down and the hotel ran out of hot food and water. Does this woman have any concept of how ludicrous she sounds with these comments (”Oh the kids are totally fine with all the blood and violence in Salt, we had them all playing with the fake blood and flying around in the harnesses on set” – yes Angelina, bet they were insured for that!)? Or so hopelessly out of her depth? “I met an old couple and they were really nice and the flood waters rose about 9m high!!!!” she gasps like a giggly school girl with a perma-grin plastered all over her face. It’s all “yes this situation is so horrible and tragic but I am still smiling and don’t you think I’m coming across as a such a lovely person in this interview?” – tragic. She is so out of her depth with this stuff that she has to claim she “is too emotional to speak as she has just come back from the field” as she “wasn’t expecting a press conference” and clearly hadn’t read her interview crib sheet or could think of anything to say! She remembered to put on her outfit and do her eye make-up but just hadn’t had time to gen up on where she was visiting! I can just see her sat in that private jet now getting her hair and make-up done and carefully selecting her outfit while thinking, oh, I’ll check out those notes when I get in the Merc. What an utter and totally shameless fraud. Methinks your time in the spotlight is coming to an end Angelina dear. Keep on dreaming with that Bosnia script!

    @joanne:

Yep it’s ihlarious, you have to watch it. She obviously only reads her crib sheets a matter of moments before she is due to speak. Her exact words were “I’m very sorry I’ve just come back from the field (”THE FIELD” for f*cks’s sake!!!!) and I’m very emotional and I wasn’t expecting a press conference. I will try to answer your questions but I don’t know all the answers yet”. The questions were so basic anyone who’s paid a moment’s attention to the evening news could have answered them. She comes across as incredibly stupid and ill-prepared in these interviews, there is literally no content or purpose to what she says. All she can seem to manage is trying to paint a little vignette of some sad old people/ orphans/ refugees/ whatever she has met and say how tragic yet brave and inspiring they were. I want to scream at her: YES ANGELINA BUT WHERE’S THE F*CKING CONTENT? WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS ISSUE?!

And the channeling of Mother Teresa and Jesus Christ in her outfits and press photos is truly astounding. She has gone way too far this time and it is more than obvious to everyone who sees it. The over-riding questions are: what is she doing there? what on earth qualifies her to answer questions like this? why is some dumb HW bint being asked to speak on behalf of millions of displaced people in Pakistan – what the hell gives her the authority? She looks miles out of place in these pics and sticks out like a sore thumb. She cannot expect to pitch up at literally every major disaster that happens on a solo mission which is made to seem more important than anything anyone else has done that has absolutely NO EXPRESS PURPOSE. It is like whenever a major tragedy occurs the poor people are just waiting for the arrival of Angelina to what – TOUR IT? Smile beaitifically for the cameras with some tragic victims? Recount a heart-warming anecote about some “simple yet dignified” folks who she has met on her travels? GET HER F*CKING PICTURE TAKEN???? It is too much, it really is, and it must be stopped, at all costs.

And can I just add that everything this woman has ever done has been for publicity, including the adopotion and conception of all her children. The adoption of Maddox was clearly for publicity too. It was enable them to transition her image from “tom boy wild child” to “feminine adult” and to deliver the clear line of: “he has made me a woman”. It was timed to coincide with the release of Tomb Raider and they filmed her flying out of Cambodia in a helicopter with him for that express reason: action hero saves asian boy child and becomes a woman in the process. They got a boy because a little girl would not have made her seem more feminine. He played the ying to her yang and was lined up as the Mr to her Mrs in that dreadful photo of the two of them sat on the bed together like man and wife. She had nannies – yes always plural, never just one – from word go. When she was interviewed on Ellen after the Oscars when she showed up in the white princess leia dress she said she “tells them to keep him up, cos I want to be the one to put him to bed” – ok Angelina, who is “them”? The nannies of course. Maddox, like all the other children, was, very sadly, a PR trick and nothing more. When she talks in interviews she barely sounds like she knows them. Then comes out with absolute clangers like: “the babies speak more french than they do english” when she could barely manage to stutter out “je ne comprends pas francais”. Right Angie – so how do you understand what they are saying then???? These interviews she has had to do to promote Salt have been totally revelatory and damning to her without a doubt. She simply cannot tell a convincing lie any more. She has her “children flying around on the wires” when making Salt and “helping her pack torches and flashlights” when she goes by private jet and chauffeur-driven car to stay in a five star hotel in pakistan? She supposedly has her twins in France and gives the girl twin a French name to “honour her mother” but when questioned about her French heritage by the French interviewee says: “she has never really researched it” – so she chose to give birth to her children in a country whose language she doesn’t understand because she had a vague idea it might have somewhere fed into the ancestry of her mother but she never really checked it out????? IS THIS BITCH FOR REAL???? Seriously, this has become like a comedy of errors now. It is truly astounding she has got away with it for this long.

She’s photogenic and she attracts attention (or maybe she schedules attention – I guess it depends on how you look at it). But it doesn’t matter if she’s prepared because a large amount of the public just shrugs their shoulders because she does so muc good for the world and has changed her life. She just can’t understand how to be a goodwill ambassador genuinely. It’s too tied into her own marketing and self-promotion. Way too much awareness of self. It’s all so over the top. The liquid eyeliner in the field is my favorite. And you know she has no friends. She’s stated that now, only talks to Brad. It’s on my MSNBC home page as a new article. I can’t decide why she said that. Is it more maneuvering for the public end of the relationship (Brad loves me, he’s the only one I talk to) or did she just slip up? No, she said it for a reason.

    Hi Joanne!
I don’t know if I can help but I usually listen. If one has emotional scars from any time in their life, they might benefit from a therapist. It shouldn’t be such a stigma. We, who took classes in counselor education had to see one. Some places such as a university have classes in counseling, and they offer free counseling to anyone so as to educate their practicing students. It helps the client a lot just to unload their psychological burdens.
I could tell you that the nun who did that, had problems with her own self. But she was in a leadership position, and she abused it. She should have made amends to you, after she confessed to the priest.
Back in those days, we kids were not to speak unless and until we were spoken to; so they determined.

Yes, I am American. I said that early last year. I also said I wouldn’t talk about personal things; however, I couldn’t let the bad stories about the nuns pass. So I had to reveal more about my background than I wished.
The reason I know so much is not that I’m brighter than anyone. Heck no! We had teachers from all kinds of caucasians. The nuns spoke French in our presence, (They were from Canada.) The priests and brothers were all types. Some were German, Irish, English, and all sort of mixed ancestry. We were, as well.
That is why we picked up on the way people spoke. Later, we even “borrowed” from different parts of America. We were well-rounded that way.

    That was funny!
We too had the sexual energy even tho we were separated into age groups.
Years later, I heard from a student who was there, about the sexual activities of the older boys and girls. We were also in different buildings. So the girls could do their thing, and the boys did theirs.
I heard no discussion about the Sisters in any way. They were considered “holy”.
The priests had their own building, also. They were more knowledgeable about the world. And whenever it was my chore to sweep and clean their place, I smelled the heavy odor of cigars and cigarette smoke.
None of us boys could even smoke a cigarette in secret. No chance!

And again the movie stars. The girls knew every one of them!
The boys knew only the western stars. They also had pictures of an actor who played Tarzan.

But just to prove that we could do something naughty, here’s an incident:
Down in the Father’s basement, there were barrels of altar wine. A few of us were assigned some work down there. Someone thought of bringing a small nail and a hammer. After they punctured one barrel, we were handed small straws to sip the wine. Only a little, as it was all new to us.
But it was only the bigger boys who had the sexual experience. And as I said, I found out very much later, that a few experimented with each other.

Yes, I’ve been to therapy it helps. It looks like we had different experiences. Sometimes it boils down to an outgoing child to that weird child in the corner nobody likes. Anyway, love your posts.
Does anyone think the mosque builder will meet with the wannabe koran burner?

This would be a great meeting if two righteous people weren’t involved. One is ofended by the burning koran and the other about the location of the mosque. They could say yes we are free to do this but out of respect to each other we won’t. I don’t see thsat happening though, To Jesus like.

    @Keane Cyber Queen Supreme:
The contrast is staggering in the photos. I was looking closely at a photo of her sitting there in her traditional garb – no doubt made of the finest silk – next to an elderly woman who was barefoot in the mud wearing a very old ratty and dirty scarf with a lined and dirty wrinkled face – the pain etched in her very features (what is the name of their dress? sorry I don’t know!) while Angie sits there in her finery, fine leather boots and perfect skin and makeup – it was ludicrous – and as an American I was offended that she is over there representing us in this manner. She shouldn’t try to BE one of them, she should go in a t-shirt and jeans without makeup and stop trying so hard to look the PART. She is just screaming out LOOK AT ME not at the situation. My blood is boiling. Yes, she is there to raise awarenes,, well, you’d have to be living under a rock not to know what is going on over there, but AJ didn’t come up with anything more than we already know, what would have been way more useful would have been to address what we can do – or what should be done – not use it for another one of her moments! She is truly sickening.

She looks like the grim reaper sitting next to that old lady, the poor thing is probably wondering why death is trying to talk to her.

Yes I think she has ended up looking truly ludicrous this time and from the comments on newspaper sites which are read by the mass public like The Daily Mail it seems like the world is really picking up on it now. Does she not realise how ludicrous she looks just suddenly pitching up at all these disaster areas as if she is there to save the day and suddenly changing from her normal attire into an outfit for the occasion rather than just covering her head with a scarf? She seems to be under the impression that she is the official spokesperson for the UN as well (”In my role as UN goodwill ambassador”) rather than just one of hundreds of celebrities, including the likes of Geri Halliwell, that they use to promote their causes. How she has the arrogance to insert herself into such serious events when she has no position of authority or influence is absolutely beyond me. By all means, show up, highlight the cause, donate a cheque and bugger off home again as is asked of you but do not have the audacity to act like you actually matter in any of these situations, because that really is sick. I don’t think bitch realises it but she is pushing it way too far now and she is about to reach the point of no going back.

It’s clear the break-up is going to be announced soon and Ange is trying desperately hard to get some saintly PR to defend her against the massive backlash that is about to ensue. Just look at the responses from people under that “no friends” story, people are going to say she deserves it because she is a homewrecker and what goes around comes around and all her hard work trying to lift up her image and career will be absolutely blown out of the water. And she bloody knows it too and she is skeeeeeered!!! So obvious.

It seems like she is trying to box in stuPitt. Her only friend abandoning her and her children, just like her daddy did. Poor Jolie. Not woman enough to keep the sexiest (barf) man around, had to rope him in with too many kids. Now she is traveling alone saying how happy they are. Poor Shiloh looks like she’s in her own world, Pax looks lost and the other two look confused. The twins? Something not right there.

Yes it’s quite odd isn’t it? I can’t think this is a good strategy, it’s only going to expose her for what she is: A TOTAL LIAR. Brad has clearly bailed on the PR now, he refused to be involved with the carrying Viv shot and the NOLA debacle. He has clearly put his foot down. Does she really think she can stop the announcement by continuing to act like everything’s fine? She is only going to come across as more of a madwoman than she does already. What with the night she turned up at the awards do and jumped on Quentin Tarantino to get a snap, her unexpected arrival at the SB and her obviously rebuffed attempts to maul Brad at different premieres it really is time to start coming clean. She is going to look absolutely mental otherwise, absolutely mental. I actually think she is living in her own world right now, a world where kids help pack mommy “flashlights and food” before she gets on her private jet to tour Pakistan in a merc, and people believe that someone can be a sexy kick-ass action hero one week and mother teresa pontificating on mass disasters and intervening in worldwide religious conflicts the next. Utterly, utterly bonkers.

i don’t care what anyone says, kim kardashian has one of the best sex tapes of all the celebrities. i was able to snag the part 2 of this tape at sextapes.com the other day. i’m pretty sure it will get removed so if you want the full version you should hurry and try to get it.

I saw that story about where she says her kids help her pack for UN trips – oh come on, who could possibly believe that!? Who could believe any part of that statement! I don’t for a second believe she talks to her kids about UN trips, that she packs anything herself, etc. She’s not that sharp during interviews, maybe she improvised this part of maintain the supermommy line, but good lord, what a load!

A little free advice to AJ: you have to deal bullshit the same way you deal cocaine – don’t get high on your own supply. That is, if you start believing the crap story you are selling, you are going to spiral down quick into insanity, and then up like Scarface, getting (metaphorically) shotgunned in the back during a gunfight. Or something like that. Get a new story to peddle, or better yet, shut the hell up, and spend some actual (supervised) time with your kids, they might actually redeem you.

Oh and you think you know ALL about the muslims? Pray tell… i’m a Muslim and i’d love to know what my real “agenda” should be because funny enough, i was taught by MY religion to be tolerant, respective of other peoples’ views and NOT racist !!! Has yours? Apparently not !!! Give your islamophobia a break… nobody is after your freedom and way of life… such statements only make YOU sound like a paranoid xenophobe.
The fact that you’re generalizing all the muslims because you may have had a personal bad experience with some doesn’t mean that “nobody knows Muslims better than you do”!
Stop being so intolerant and you might wanna practice what you preached to Jolie…. go EDUCATE yourself before spewing lies and hatred!

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
