She should be in Iraq with the refugees, seems to be a lot of killing going on over there. She could make her movie there, its like doing your own stunts.

wtf-since Ian linked this story, that alone is telling you that the story is not an exclusive, what he is reporting is that she bitter from being tossed aside in the past by Woody Allen. Yes we all know Angie is going to make a movie in Bosnia. I did not know about Woody though, thanks Ian.

Yes it will be a success but the botich will get so many people standing in line behind her to market this film, that at least it will get them in the doors. Of course we saw what happened when she tried to take control on the last refugee film, that was an epic fail.

A “love story” about a rapist and the victim and they fall in love with each other – this is going to another trampie flop! And I am sure that she is writing, producing and directing it – yea right.

Very droll joanne. I’d love to see kick-ass Angie battle it out doing “all her own stunts” on the batte fields of Iraq. Then we’ll all see what a bad-ass she really is!

As for this, well she is obviously resorting to trying to make her own films because she can’t book any jobs on anyone else’s films any more. My prediction: she won’t get it made. Not in this economy and with a subject as niche as that. The story of the balkan war, however tragic it was and however much I am interested in it personally, does not resonate with a worldwide audience, or even the domestic European market that much to be honest. This simply will not sell I’m afraid, and she will not be able to raise the funds to do it, full stop. If they can’t find any financing for the end of the Bond film, they sure as hell ain’t gonna for Ange does Bosnia. Sorry. And all this posturing about making her own films is really just a load of guff to conceal the fact that she can’t book shit any more, and hasn’t got the excuse of having or adopting more children to fall back on to fill the gap because she can’t do that either. So what do we have next for the stellar career of La Jolie? Well, she’ll write a book on her incredible life and humanitarian endeavours and write and direct her own vehicles to star in of course – easy as that if you’re Angelina. There really is no limit to what this woman is capable of. She is talent personified. I just hope that her skills as a screen-writer and director are better than her attempts to speak french (to honour her mother of course) on french television: “je ne – what is it? – he he – I’m not going to say it – je ne comprend pas en francais – he he”. Yes Angelina, you are more than capable of making your own movies! Nuff said.

Bitch is supposedly making this bosnia flick (announced through the bloody UN of course – does this woman get any more pretentious!) is being made by the same company who made The Tourist. A tiny and very recently formed British indie called GK Films. I am not surprised he is doing this (the producer), doesn’t look like he has anything else on the slate and we all know how few films are being made from the UK nowadays. I am guessing this production may be co-produced by Angelina’s army – ahem, excuse me, I meant, the UN? Very, very droll.

I read somewhere recently that in HW if Jolie wants to do something it gets done. Where did she get this power? Her box office is not THAT great. Why are they so in awe of this mess?

As to Pakistan. Yes, it’s tragic very tragic but the world is full of tragedy on a daily basis and money solves nothing it only makes the corrupt richer and rarely gets to the victims. War … people die. Flood … death. Mine collapse … gone. Earthquake … buried alive. Famine, and on and on as it has been and will always be and her pronouncements of tsk tsk tsk are beyond annoying. Please dear lord I hope they don’t take her calls in this Administration.

Keane, GK Films is Graham King that did The Tourist. I believe they also have Rum Diary with Depp coming out among others. Founded by Academy Award-winning producer Graham King in 2007, GK Films productions include “The Young Victoria,” “Edge of Darkness,” “The Rum Diary,” “London Boulevard” and “The Tourist.”
Also Production begins in London on Martin Scorsese’s “HUGO CABRET” for GK Films; Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield, Chloë Moretz star

Some of us have been saying all along, that AJ is a proponent of “The Hitlerian Lie”. And it involves telling lies that shock and repel the people at the start. They are then repeated again and again; so that, eventually, more and more people believe them.
We said that this is what happened with the lies about Jen. And the loonies bought it outright, and proceeded to spread the evil word.

Why does Hollywood willingly go along with a dictatorship? To begin with, most of the people don’t have a solid spiritual foundation. So it makes sense that they are unable, or unwilling to fight the evil within their midst.
One would think that Hollywood had learned lessons from Hitler’s rise, and the Great Holocaust!

Not that long ago, Tom Cruise was dubbed “The most powerful actor in Hollywood!” by a sleek magazine.
It was reported that he exulted upon learning of his “crowning”, and proceeded to brag about it.
Now, if one looks at a recent weekly rag, (Aug. 9th), one can see an emaciated TC. The photo is on pg 30.

More than likely, Woody Allen sees right through her. Woody has worldwide respect for his writing and directing. He also was oscar-nominated as Best Actor, once.

Hi anon, thanks for your input on GK Films, sounds like you’re a bit of an afficionado on small new British film indies. Just to recap quickly GK Films did The Tourist, which Depp apparently signed up for as a favour to his producer friend so I’m assuming that the other project with Depp was also a favour. Edge of Darkness starring Mel Gibson – how did that do at the B.O. I wonder? The Young Victoria although critically acclaimed did not make money. And London Boulevard? Not sure it has HIT written all over it… JMO of course. The point is is that they’re a very young company with very few credits to their name and therefore very little money. If Angie throws a few million at them and asks them to make her directorial debut or even just chucks them a few grand to use their name in association with a publicity statement they’re going to do it. Especially as The Tourist is going to need as much help as it can get selling tickets. Just saying – don’t shoot the messenger!

  16. anon said on August 26th, 2010 at 9:57 pm

OK Keane, I see what you are saying about it being a young company. I was assuming Graham King was pretty wealthy because of his years of producing Traffic, Aviator, Departed et al. I was thinking he would pour money into GK Films as needed but I don’t really know anything about it.

  17. Keane Cyber Queen Supreme said on August 27th, 2010 at 9:36 am

I’m not sure he would be mega-wealthy as a result of being a producer unless he had a percentage of the profits from the film. And even if he had that, it wouldn’t turn him into the leagues of the super-wealthy and give him enough money to finance these kind of films. He sure as heck won’t have a spare 50 million hanging about to finance his own projects. He will be using backers, and as anyone who’s worked in an investment bank offering films to their clients for investment will know, nothing’s getting made in the British market right now. Funding dropped right out of films in the UK when the credit crunch hit. All the money from hedge funds just dried up. If this guy is being offered millions by Ange to make this film then he will take it I’m sure!

Why do celebrities grovel to be in Woody Allen movies? He is a pedophile who essentially fucked his own teenage daughter when he was in his 60s. He hasn’t made a good or successful movie in two decades. Former fans – unlike liberal elites and the perverted Hollywood crowd who apologize for child-raping directors – have boycotted his movies for years!
