Ian do we have to look at her nasty sagging tits, lol come on , some people have little kids around, can’t ya find a better picture, she has plenty that are nasty, but that one is just gross.
Well let’s see , do any of them up there volunteer in the National Guard, with the Fire department, are any of them on the Security patrol in their neighborhoods, any of them ever given a kidney, donated for a patient dying of leukemia, have any of them sat for hours and hours with a child dying of cancer, not one hour, not given toys, I mean weeks and days on end til they cry all night long. Have any of them cooked dinner for a family that has lost a loved one, cleaned their bathroom, the toilet, changed the sheets? Have any of them stood up for someone knowing that if they did, they would be blacklisted by their own? Have they donated money that is their money, not knowing if tomorrow they will not be able to pay their rent, feed their kids, pay their electric bill. It is easy to give money away that is not yours, easy to give away something that can be replaced with another smile, another picture.
It is the ordinary people that built this country, they donate to it, with their blood, their sweat , their tears, their lives, that give every day to their neighbors, in a completely selfless way that are the true heroes. The teachers, the police, the fireman, the sanitation workers, the ones that sit with the dying, that deliver the food, that protect our country, our streets, our children , our elders, that really sit and talk with the homeless and spend endless hours helping them. That does not mean getting your picture taken with them on Thanksgiving.
No, none of them are heroes, until them begin to clean up their own backyard they never will be. Jon Bon Jovi, at least gets a little closer to home, but the real heroes are the ones we never see their picture anywhere.
IF the question is though, who is the one that is the most sincere in their efforts to try and make people believe they are giving back to the global community, then the answer would be George Clooney.
Before anyone wants to get pissy about this, the answer is -yes.

I was wondering if this is some kind a riddle? Like there is supposed to be something that link all of them.
For instance bot Jen and Angie are naked in the pic. What else?
Btw, Ian. I hope you change this blog so we can see number on the comment box. So each comment have a number on it, just like any other blogs! Thought I just say something constructing for this blog.
NO one has surpassed Paul Newman. I doubt anyone will.
The world’s largest family of camps for children with serious illnesses and life threatening conditions.
More than 100,000 seriously ill children from 34 states and 31 countries have attended the Camps free of charge.
Three hundred million dollars. No so called fauxmanitarian can touch it. Newman also raced his cars to benefit various charities. NO fake photo ops, no traveling makeup, camera and photographers, no child pimping. Just PN and his organic food that launched Newman’s Own.
There is not a single one of the tools in this post who comes close.
Perhaps some of them do their heroics in private. Others who make a difference:
Kevin Costner, who’s doing his best to clean up the oil spill.
Sean Penn, who continues to speak out for the Haitian victims of the devastating earthquake.
Oprah Winfrey, who features all kinds of stories about how we can better our lives.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who toils on behalf of the Special Olympics.
Actors working behind the scenes, who use their talents to benefit minorities, and others who need tons of encouragement. Like us, they respond to anyone in need. It’s just that the paps aren’t notified, so they can boost their careers.
@alif:
That just makes them decent. Not a Heroe. Those men and women that scraped through bodies at Ground Zero are heroes, some died doing it. In my book, unless you are giving selflessly &completely, expecting nothing in return, that does not qualify you for that term, or a saint. Decent and a good person, compassionate and caring. sure. We all have different standards though, not picking on you Alif, I always enjoy what you have to say and your insights. I am just so tired of these glorified twats patting themselves on the back because they believe they are the saviors of the world, as long as it is done, their way.
I agree about Paul Newman, very decent man. He suffered his own share in his life too.

Btw, keanne, you said Leo was gay in that post. Really? Not bi
Replyyou have to have very low standards to figure there is a hero in show-business
ReplyOf the ones pictured above, Joaquin Phoenix for outspoken animal rights activism. Everyone should see Earthlings, narrated by him.
ReplyYou are right on Kate!!

Of this bunch, I vote for Johnny – he’s incredibly generous (esp to kids’ causes) and has a heart of gold.
