IUC Review: Check out The Stars at Penthouse 808 – Best Rooftop in NYC
Not exactly Manhattan, but breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline from a stone’s throw over the 59th Street Queenboro Bridge. A playful and sprawling rooftop, Penthouse 808 does an amazing job breaking the monotony and redundancy of Manhattan’s shaky, overcrowded rooftops that are too loud and claustrophobic to enjoy the views. This super cool rooftop has great service, amazing food and some of the world’s best DJ’s. It’s the closest thing I’ve seen on the east coast to South Beach. Located across the Queensboro bridge at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, Penthouse 808’s Pan Asian menu is second to none, featuring everything from mouth watering sushi appetizers to steak and fish entrees that will have you savoring every bite. This is premium dining with a twist, a full service seating on the rooftop with mouth-watering gastronomy amidst the best nocturnal views of Manhattan’s skyline I have seen. An amazing culinary expedition combined with the perfect sunset cocktail. IUC Rating: ***** out of *****
