IUC World Exclusive: Gary Coleman Feared For His Life for Years

gary-coleman-300x225I don’t think we’ve heard the beginning of what really happened to child star Gary Coleman. According to a former Hollywood colleague, who knew Coleman well, the pint sized actor feared for his life. “Gary told me several times he didn’t think he’d live a day past 45,” the source told IUC. “He said too many people were out to get him. He became very paranoid. I once remember seeing him in the back of a Starbuck’s on Melrose crying his eyes out. I went up to him and gave him a big hug. He opened up to me for the next hour, telling me that his life was a mess and that he thought he was going to die. He claimed that the cast of Different Strokes was under a curse and that all of them were destined to die young.” Developing…

    He may have unwittingly attracted predatory people to his circle. It’s sad that he trusted too many in that cutthroat business he was in.
    It’s called a jungle; and for good reason. There are predators; there are prey. Our society, in general, is the same. Sad to say that we are becoming immune to savagery. Well, at least many of us. It’s in the news as never before!
    Many elders, shamans, holy people and religious pastors told me personally, and by the written word, that we are due for a worldwide “housecleaning”. By this, I’m told, we will experience disasters of which we have only seen previews!
    What sort of disasters, I ask. They said that it could be by either: 1) nuclear war 2) volcanic eruptions and 3) a great meteor. All this will stir up ashes that will obliterate the sun for a least three days. The holy ones call it “The three days of darkness!” They stated that not only the wicked will die, but the just. They further claimed that God will spare many unbelievers. They said it will be so that they, the unbelievers, will have solid proof of His dominance.
    In the books I”ve read, they further said that technology would be history. Out of the ashes would evolve a beautiful, pastoral world. People will again care for each other as in the olden times.
    Personally, I tend to be cynical about such prophecies. But I think it makes some sense.
    Thoughts?

    TMZ reports someone was trying to sell them pictures of Coleman in his hospital bed, and even when he was dead. Even in death Gary can’t escape people trying to exploit him! I’m sure his family will lower the bar even further by trying to sell his belongings.

    Alif I think society has as much or more to fear from slow strangulation by various problems – like overpopulation and dwindling resources – than sudden catastrophe. Its not going to be pretty when the oil runs out . . .

    @I’m on the bidet:
    Yes, I hear you!
    YouTube has the subject of “The Three Days of Darkness” in case anyone dares to check it out.
    Prime revelation: It will happen suddenly!
    No one wants to hear that; certainly not I.

    Um…the “Different Strokes Curse” is no where an exclusive and has been used as tag lines for “E! True Hollywood Stories” on Dana Plato, Todd Bridges, and yes, even Gary Coleman, long before his death.
    I feel terrible for that man used by everyone supposedly close to him. I hope in death he has found some peace. Alif—I believe it. It may not come how we all have been brainwashed.

    @blu:
    I do believe the part where they say that we are being brainwashed. And that this makes it easier for us to be un-prepared.

    I will miss Gary Coleman. He was a source of some comfort to me. A guy who seemed to have so very much to deal with and yet had a seeming heart of gold. He just didn’t know how many minorities and others learned from him about how to deal with our hardships.
    He ran for governor of the state of California, a few yrs ago. That was the time they had over a hundred candidates, if I remember correctly.

    I saw Gary Coleman in Vegas a few years ago at an event. I found him to be a sad figure, lonely and yet somehow scary. Can’t explain this gut feeling. A sad story. I felt sorry for him. RIP Mr. Coleman
