Ian, I think no one should be laughed at or ridiculized the way you have been. It is not the end of the world but it is a lack of respect, I’ve seen and heard it during the whole interview, I felt sorry for you, no matter what your job is, if what you write is true or not, good or not, no matter your religion or sex or the way you dress (which is fine actually!)… Laliberté and Lepage are good in what they do but they do cross lines and go too far, I would like them to learn how to show some respect for brothers and sisters, that is you, me, the public, the guests, people who pay taxes, are hungry, thirsty, are sick and die while Mr Laliberté plays Star Trek and Mr Lepage laughes at those who are looking for the truth… Good luck, I’m behind you.

Yes Ian, do not listen to the guys who tell you to drop it – this is totally unacceptable behaviour and must be thwarted – the Human Rights Commission will back you up, but be prepared for a long fight of Denial (the majority here use the immature defense mechanism of denial all too often, sorry). I am in a similar fight that happened at the Caisse de Depot, and it has been 17 months now that I am waiting for settlement. Don`t stop Ian, keep it up, you are doing the right thing – my Canada includes Quebec and we have to enforce the rule of law because the lack of professionalism by the bullies in the workplace and often in the media only draws away investment from the province. It is time for this to stop.

I don’t really feel like I should get involved in this conversation, as I’m not able to assess what the two radio hosts are saying, since I don’t speak French, and I don’t know much about the culture of Quebec. What I do think though is that Ian isn’t a particularly fragile character, plus he’s a veteran of edgy/bawdy radio interviews like Howard Stern’s show, and the Opie and Anthony show. So, I find it hard to believe he’s responding this way to nothing, or to a cultural misunderstanding of comedy, as some comments suggest, but rather to what he perceives as a very serious level of racial insult. We can hardly expect him back down from that based on our level of interest . . . would you?

Oui M. Halpoerin je considère que vous avez été traité injustement, sans la nécessaire objectivité qu’un interviewer compétent doit avoir, ils avaient un agnda de critiquer et ridiculiser vos méthodes de travail, car ils n’ainent probablement pas ce que ous faites, et le livre que vous avez écrit sur leur bon copin, Guy Laliberté…
Mais de grâce n’en beurrer pas trop épais avec les accusations d’antisémitisme. Je suis certain qu’il n’ya avait pas 1% des gens (auditeurs, particpants, publics sur place, animateurs), qui savait que vous étiez Juif.

Assez étirer la sauce dsu racisme, de l’antisémitisme etc. Y a plus moyen de se faire critiquer de nos jours, si tu es d’une autre religion ou une autre race que ton interlocuteur.

Ils m’ont écoeurés avec leur manque de respect, mais moi et tous les personnes que je connais qui ont écouté, ne savions aucunement que vous étiez Juif. Celà n’aurais eu aucune importance pour nous de toute façon.

Poursuivez-les pour diffamation, atteinte à la réputation etc. etc. mais de grâce, lachez-nous avec l’antisémisme, vous allez perdre votre support des gens qui vous ainent et vous respectent dans cette cause.

Je considère que vous avez été effectivement très mal reçu sur le plateau de ”Tout le monde en parle”. Peu importe l’opinion que l’on peut avoir d’une personne, on se doit de la respecter pour ce qu’elle est, surtout quand on l’invite chez soi, ou sur son plateau de télévision. Guy A. Lepage, Dany Turcotte et Jasmin Roy dénocent le manque d’objectivité de votre forme de journalisme et ridiculisent votre carrière et, pour ce faire, ils font du journalisme de très bas niveau. Lors de votre passage à l’émission, j’étais scandalisée, non pas par vos propos, vos façons de faire ou vos livres, mais par le manque de respect flagrant de l’animateur et de son collègue à votre égard. Ils prétendent être mieux que tout le monde et se sont amusés à vos dépens alors que, selon moi, c’est eux qu’ils ont ridiculisés en allant aussi bas. Plus les saisons de ”Tout le monde en parle” se succèdent, plus ils se pensent mieux que tous et, rendus là, ils ne méritent plus l’attention du public. Du moins, c’était certainement la dernière fois que je regardais l’émission…

Il est temps que ce racisme fréquent sous couvert de l’humour soit sanctionné au Québec tant à la télé, qu’à la radio (le réseau des sports ouvertement pro-québécois-francophone et par moment totalement anti-joueurs-européens, dans le passé ridiculisant notamment les joueurs russes en les appelant “rustres” , mangeurs de “goulach” et faisant allusion à leur nationalité pour décrire leur manière de jouer au hockey (les russes sont ci, les russes sont ça, ils n’ont pas de coeur, etc…” ) … Il est grand temps que ça cesse!!! Enough already!!! Everything here is tolorated because they are all claiming: “It’s only humor, we’re joking.” But in fact, they’re not! They send racist messages to the public and if you ever listen to Le Réseau des sports on the radio, you’d be outraged at how they can be so racist towards the european hockeyplayers in the Canadian de Montréal hockey team, when they want to justify their wish of having more French speaking Quebecer players in the team!!! The radio hosts interact with the public and both parties participate freely in that racist bashing thing very often. They do that for so long and noboby tell them to stop spreading that nasty attitude. It’s time to make a change so everybody living in Quebec be respected regardless of their ethnicity because these people seem to forget that the Quebec audience is not only White French Canadian here!!! The public listenning to the radio and watching the TV can be from Russian lineage, Jew lineage ( or Black lineage as well (I’m refering to the Bye Bye 2008 when they were joking about Obama being Black). Stop dividing Quebecers! They are like the White French speaking Quebecer is the real Quebecer and the others are not, they are and they will always be second or simply strangers although they’re born in Quebec. The way the bunch of “Tout le monde en parle” treated Ian was exactly that way and the same way a lot of Quebecers from other ethnic lineage felt when M. Parizeau launched his racist comment after the 1995 Referendum PQ politic party defeat. It’s like there is first class Quebecers (les purelaines) et the lower classes (the others). It’s time to change and I support you Ian in what you do.

Je ne sais pas si leurs propos étaient directement lancé contre les juifs. Mais ils vous ont très mal recu. Moi j’étais outrée de ca. Ce n’est pas une facon de traiter ses invités a la télé. Moi aussi je vous félicite pour votre calme et la facon dont vous êtes sorti de là en gentleman. Que l’on soit d’accord ou non avec votre travail et vos facons de faire (ou votre look) , c’est légitime a chaque personne mais vous ne méritez pas un tel mépris sur la place publique. Bonne chance

US media is reporting that she has urged the Hollywood heartthrob to have a facelift.

“Angie told Brad he looked like a total wreck and needed to do something radical before she found him attractive again,” a source said.

“The sad truth is Brad looks like a pale shadow of his former self. His skin is in terrible condition and he’s grown this ridiculous beard to try and cover-up how bad he looks underneath.

“Angie has tried to be understanding and at first didn’t want to saying anything, fearing she could hurt his feelings.

“But with each passing week, she’s told pals, she was finding him less and less attractive. It’s finally got to the point where she was seeing him as a brother or friend than as a sexual partner.

“When Brad finally called Angie out about her lack of desire to jump in the sack with him, it led to an horrific argument. She told him he just isn’t the same handsome man she fell in love with and needed to do something to sort himself out.

“Brad couldn’t believe what she was saying, but once he calmed down he vowed to take action. He said he will have a facelift if that is what it takes to revive their relationship.”
