And itks worked hasn't it, the world is now talking about something completely different to the train wreck that is her relationship and family and gossiping about some utter nonsense about Depp instead. She sure knows how to quash one story - the trainwreck, her gills etc - with another. This girl is a fighter, she will literally do and say anything to stay afloat. It'll only come back to bite her on the bum though, people may be distracted in the short-term, but you can't keep distracting them forever. The truth will out!
