IUC Exclusive: Brad In Miami; Angie en route
The world’s paps will be waiting for Angie in a couple of hours when she touches down in Miami. Angie is on a flight right now…she’ll arrive after the big game has started. Meanwhile, Brad arrived yesterday with Maddox and will attend the big game. Will she head to the stadium for another photo opportunity for the glorious pair???? Sources told IUC they will not leave Miami together. Angie will be en route to Haiti. A source told IUC the couple is not getting back together. “They’re trying to do as much damage control as possible,” the source said. Never a dull moment.

Specifically, their marriage in Italy wasn’t legal because it was a Scientology ritual? And the article makes the comment that the two “reportedly were previously legally married” at their Beverly Hills mansion a few weeks before the event in Italy. Has the press or anyone else found legal documentation that they were in fact legally married in California? I would expect a marriage certificate to have a date on it.

Cover of Now magazine in the UK this week has a headline saying Brad is being bullied into doing what Angelina says by her threats to reveal secrets that could and probably would destroy his career. I think this is the beginnng and the end of why he is going along with it.

Well, if they are breaking up, the pictures that are candids from Belga Press Agency certainly don’t show it. They are hugging and kissing and both look very loving. The pics are obviously candids and taken from a telephoto lens. You can see them JustJared–look for the posts by QQQQ.

There are NO pictures of them kissing at the game. They share an awkward hug, in which they don’t even face one another, and Pitt’s hips are several feet away from her body. They are seen talking a couple of brief times in several hundred photos, and he helps her up the stairs as though it’s incredibly hard for her. Her weight must be down to less than a hundred pounds in these shots. Throughout the rest of the shots, they don’t pay each other much attention. Pitt even gives a high-five to a female staff member in their suite, yet he barely touches jolie except for the weird hug.
ReplyP.S.–why did she follow him there? She wasn’t shooting anything, and supposedly, they’re living under the same roof. Why not go together? And to dani–they obviously knew they’d be photographed. Brad had been photographed the previous day, and the public was well aware that he’d be attending the game. The shots were awkward and Pitt acted more like he was babysitting his grandmother than hanging out with his girlfriend.

He gives her a weird boob grab hug and the only person she kisses is Mad Max. Why was he helping her up the stairs? No big deal, just probably being a p-whipped gentleman. You know Pitt and Aniston hired a private judge to deal with their divorce so that no details became public. Only problem with this is that Pitt and Jolie were never married so they CANNOT be divorced. Whenever they split I am sure they announce through People mag website. We all know Angelina is as mad as a hatter and lives her life for photo ops, but I really cannot comprehend why Brad Pitt would go along with this charade, if the situation is as bad as Ian says. They must know that every blog, gossip site, and loads of publications are calling them out on their facade/showmance. I am really surprised that they staged this Superbowl nonsense, especially after BP declined to walk the red carpet with skelewhore at the awards thing the other night. It makes them both look utterly ridiculous.
I remember the NOTW publishing a story in September (ish) 2004 saying JA overheard phonesex between BP and AJ. It was denied but then lo and behold come January 2005 they split. Perhaps wimp Pitt is pretending to be her bitch still, and behind the scenes leaking stuff to the press to pave the way for the split? In the Mail on Sunday magazine yesterday, Ian wrote a article which said that Jen won’t take him back again, as she wouldn’t sleep with BP again even if he wore 6 condoms after going with that ho bag.

ReplyWell y’all I think they look happy and unposed in the pics. I neither love nor hate the couple, but find both the extreme haters (like many who post here) and the extreme loonies to be beyond comprehension. Or mine at least. None of you know the couple. I do volunteer work with animals in Africa and I can tell you from working with sponsoring organizations that Angie is very highly thought of in the UNHCR and by relief agencies. I also lived in NOLA for many many years and Brad’s work in the 9th ward is also very highly thought of down in New Orleans. Whether you like them or not, they are at least using their fame to do some good unlike all the celebutards out there. Maybe I’m being too Pollyannish–but it wold be nice instead of dragging them down and wishing harm and hurt to them if people focused on the activities and causes they do good for. At least they donate their income to the cult of Scientology which is cruel and hurts people. At least they aren’t promising programs in prison like Hilton and doing nothing There are many stars I don’t care for, but I can admire their devotion to their causes whether it is to gain personal publicity or publicity for the cause. I saw such cruel comment when the JP’s donated a million to help Haiti and yet other movie types who donated money after they did got thumbs up. I think what most people are sick of is the fact that EVERY TIME they donate or do something GOOD, they have to publicize it, because they’re fame whores. How many celebutards out there (as you call them) donate and do good SILENTLY. People aren’t questioning their giving, they’re questioning their MOTIVES. They were at a game, Brad loves football so it takes about 90 percent of the tension away right there, add Maddox and the crowd , the beer, not difficult to enjoy the game.I have heard they are not fighting anymore, just done. If they have to put up a front to deflect this story until they are ready they will. Janet Jackson was married for 15 years without anyone ever knowing. There are actors that live separated fro 2-3 years without the public being aware and when they do announce the divorce people are shocked, until they hear they were done years before. At the end of the day, who cares if they are in love? The truth is (and that’s the truth Jolie and Pitt will never want to look at because it will never do them the favour of growing into something prettier) the public would never engage in predicting their break up every day for the last five years if they didn’t trample on other people’s dignity and feelings to get together. They wouldn’t wait for the right time to display their affair; they wouldn’t consider anybody but their own wants and pleasures; they wouldn’t even wait a little longer to “get pregnant” – and everybody who calls the spade a spade is dubbed a “troll” and “hater”.
The bottom line is they deserve each other. Why would anyone want to see them split? Just think about it – Pitt chose to stay with a woman who showed that she was fully capable of anything and everything when it came to protecting her own interests: namely, organizing smear campaigns to drag her lover’s ex-wife’s name through the mud because she was oh-so-afraid that people would think she was a home wrecker again (which she was).
When he realized who he was with and also knew that she was pregnant, I wonder what looked more petrifying to him: the prospect of seeing his perfect image of Hollywood’s wholesome Midwesterner ruined to the base if he dumped Jolie despite her pregnancy OR the prospect of having an entire brood carrying the genes of someone with her history and total lack of scruples and human feelings because that would make his dirty little story look respectable.
He may have played Achilles on screen but off-screen he didn’t have the basic guts to make the right decision. I am so disappointed with him. He used to be my favourite actor. I guess I’ll still watch his movies because I don’t want to miss out on anything but things will never be the same anymore – I don’t think I will ever derive the same amount of pleasure from watching him as before. Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are suing the News Of The World newspaper after it published allegations about their relationship.
In a story published on 24 January, the paper said the couple would separate and had agreed the division of assets and custody of their children.
The couple’s lawyer, Keith Schilling, called the “widely republished” allegations “false and intrusive”.
He added the paper had failed to meet “reasonable demands” for an apology.
He said the pair had also asked for a retraction of the allegations, which had subsequently been “widely republished by mainstream news outlets”.

If they do go ahead and sue, it will be interesting to see if they settle out of court before it goes to trial. Many public figures call the publishers bluff and then back out and end up paying the publishers legal fees at the last minute (like Neil Hamilton and the Guardian etc)
Although the NOTW is a tabloid and tabloids do embellish stories, I do not think twat faced Murdoch would have put the paper in a position where haggerdalina could sue for defamation. It is not a fantastic scoop or exclusive for the NOTW to publish an article about Haggerdalina splitting when there are already so many similar stories all over the web and in magazines every week (E.G Now, Heat, Grazia, Look and in the states US Weekly, In Touch and Life and Style etc) Especially as they had the BIGGER story of John Terry’s affair to break. In tabloid terms that is the far bigger story in ENGLAND where it sells copies, than another break up story on two Hollywood cranks.

There are literally dozens of pictures on the net of her locking lips with her brother, even one from the cover of a magazine where they both have their eyes closed as they enjoy the kiss. It is as blatant as her declaration of love for her brother in her Oscar acceptance speech, she has just managed to distract people from it and so cover it up. There have been pictures about their love (False or NOT, ACT or NOt, Fake or not) but you had pictures. Now, all of you have the written denial in a newspaper and all the websites, and the threat of legal action that they will take about Tabloids, Ian and YOU….but it is not enough.
So my only conclusion now is, You see whatever you want to see, you believe whatever you want to believe, like Brad decided to go against the world because of HER (Angelina) and abandoned a beautiful, sweet and normal wife and NOW He has decided to be at Angelina’s side again, you can keep your choice to continue to waste your time with them, someday they will break up (I have told you several times, remember that), but when nobody expects that, not, when you or Ian want.

He didn’t “go against the world” – he tried to collaborate with it and get it on his side by pretending that he was in love with her. If you really love someone and are prepared to go to any length for your love, you can wait and you will wait for the right time to show it, so that nobody has anything bad to say about it. Ha. Yes, I have been reading this site for ages and enjoying all the comments by the regulars, before I posted yesterday. I thought that she may have been a paid person for Brad’s camp, but she doesn’t seem intelligent enough. I really don’t know where she finds the time to post, berating everyone else for posting; isn’t she supposed to be on a whistle stop tour of Thailand?
On another note, I really cannot abide Murdoch and all he stands for, but on this one occasion, I hope he flexes his global media clout and wipes the floor with these two ragged upstarts.

Interesting how some people use multiple aliases to convince the others that their opinion is backed by many people on the same blog. It looks like schizophrenia to me. Oops! Lory, I hope a word like “schizophrenia” doesn’t sound too intellectual to you – you seem to get depressed by anybody sounding even remotely intellectual. Perhaps you should buy a dictionary for advanced learners, so that you enrich your vocabulary and stop feeling depressed.

I followed the posts on Katie’s “pregnancy’ in the latter months, on Defamer.com (which used to be “edgy” and is now quite lame). Bloggers noted the changing shapes of Katie’s belly. It was very well-noted. Many of the posters were women. Some actually supported the pov that Katie was indeed preggers! But most said that, no, it wasn’t real.
In like fashion, there were the discussions of Suri’s “birth certificate”. It looked fake, according to most. What they argued about was the actual month of Suri’s birth!; (thus the changing shape of Katie’s abdomen in the final stages of her pregnancy.)
One is suspicious that Tommy tried to convert BP when they made a movie, together. But he surely had his innings because they followed TC’s path. Now, they’ve taken to sue anyone who claims they’re through, just as TC sued anyone who questioned his sexuality. That is, until he sued the wife of a man who told her that TC and her husband did make out. Well, TC lost that one. The lawsuits stopped; at least, as of now!
And none transpired when one of the members of The Village People group stated (just last year) that little Tommy C. ” serviced” him.
There is a big difference, as well! TC dominates his partner, while BP is dominated by his!

Hi Astro! I haven’t been on a couple of days. I think you make a good point with people seeing what they want to see –even when there are photos that show the opposite. I have many times seen photos of a celeb fooling around with someone (not their partner) only to read comments that say that it’s obvious the two are just friends and everyone has a dirty mind to think differently.
I’ve wondered why these two–angie and brad—annoy me so much. I mean—I don’t like Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson but I don’t read about them, either. So what is it with this couple? It’s not the jennifer aniston thing because I’m not crazy about jennifer aniston. She’s fine but I don’t think about her.
I think it’s the image they’ve carved for themselves as the ultimate prom king and queen who are the ultimate idea of morality and ethics and all human kindness. This morning is a good example. I watch the Today Show and they made a lot of Angelina going to Haiti for a humanitarian mission. She stayed the night. And then left. What was she doing? Drawing attention to the plight of the Haitians? I think there is plenty of attention and that isn’t a problem. Did she DO something? I don’t think so. They didn’t mention anything on the news that she did besides land her plane. It just smacks of what John Edwards did: flying to Haiti and making sure the news media knew about it and then getting out of there. That kind of thing just annoys me. Also, selling photos of your newborns when you don’t need the money. Promising it to charity and not giving it to charity. Adopting a child sounds so loving, but she adopts a kid who is already at least seven and changes his name at the same time she pulls him away from everyone and everything he knows. Why change his name? Why bring People magazine to photograph this very vulnerable child in his most vulnerable moment—his first night away?
Does any of that bother you at all?
I do understand where you’re coming from when you wonder why bash people we don’t know. If these two would just admit they are normal people who happen to act in films I think I could accept them much easier. They don’t want to admit they are even human like the rest of us.

Pickwick I just wrote a post about the Haiti photocall on the other thread to the same effect. How is Angelina justifying this trip? What does she say she was there to do? They normally use the old chestnut that she is there to “draw attention to the cause” but we all know about this cause as we have had blanket coverage on the news. She can’t say it is to make sure the world doesn’t forget as it is so recent it is still in the forefront of our minds. So what was she there for? She has no authority or power in the UN, she is just an “ambassador”, like 50 or so other celebrities, one of them – correct me if I’m wrong – being Miley Cyrus. She has not been doing anything in the media with regard to fundraising like pretty much everyone else in HW. No, she considered herself too big to participate in that telethon, and didn’t want to come across as just the same as any other HW star. She had to separate herself out and act like the Queen of HW she thinks she is. So she waited a beat for the telethon to be over and the attention on people like George Clooney and Wyclef Jean to abate, and then she made her move. Last of all, so everyone would notice her. Previously she issued a statement through the CEO of one of her pet charities to the effect that “SOS Villages are there before and after the cameras stop rolling. So is Angelina Jolie”. That is actually what it said and to me it was breathtaking in it’s utter vulgarity. Why on earth would anyone seek to promote themselves when hundreds of thousands of people have just died? Who cares where Angelina Jolie is, before or after the cameras stop rolling (well apart from her obviously, she doesn’t do anything when the cameras stop rolling)? Why did she show up in the Dominican Republic today? Was it to get down on her hands and knees and start a 14 hour shift providing food and health care to the orphans? Was it to assess the situation and then return to the organisation she represents and spend weeks working on plans to help those in need and rebuild the city? Was it to decide how much more of her $100 million fortune she wanted to give to them and on what? I’ve heard this story reported in a number of news sources but no rationale as to why she was there. Perhaps one of her loon supporters or PR flack employees could enlighten me?

I couldn’t have agreed more! If they just admitted they’d had an on-set affair like other Hollywood actors in history, they would be instantly perceived as humans and soon forgiven by everybody. In short, they would have ended up more respected than they are now – but no, they had to adopt a holier-than-thou attitude and throw Jennifer Aniston under the bus to look better in the public eye. They had to portray her as selfish, career-minded, self-absorbed woman who ignored her husband’s feelings and put her own wants above his wants.
Five years later, the damage is done and nothing can change the fact that there are people who will always believe that she was left because “she was not all that”. I’ve come across horrible insults against her, including one that talked about “her dusty and barren womb”. Those insults are the product of Angelina Jolie’s orchestrated campaign. When you read something like that, you simply have no choice but to get involved and so I did! I wouldn’t be a woman if I simply looked on as another woman was treated like that while her husband’s bitch of a year posed for the cameras as the perfect mother and humanitarian with all the babies her money could buy.
You see, the bitch doesn’t mind building stability for herself with another woman’s husband on a quagmire of scandal and personal tragedies but she insists on being remembered as a saint even if that means the truth will be buried for ever under a mountain of lies produced by her brother, her manager and her entire team on her command! Strange, isn’t it, how sensitive she is to her own feelings provided she doesn’t care about the feelings of anybody else! She seems to be the most sensitive bulldozer that ever “graced” the public eye: “I may have smashed, injured and robbed other people of their happiness on my way but I insist on being known as someone who cares about the world’s suffering.”
Then, a couple of months ago, I was horrified to read those pages in Ian’s book, where he tells about Jennifer’s miscarriages because that was the first time I realized how deep her trauma was and where Jolie’s campaign actually hit. Jolie knew about the miscarriages from Pitt and yet she resorted to the smear tactic. Jennifer has taken so much abuse from these hypocrites and their psycho fans and still takes it and yet she’s found a way to live and let go. She’s damned if she speaks and damned if she doesn’t! Given how much abuse she’s taken for nothing, she carries with unbelievable grace! Yet I’m sure the loons will jump immediately to yell that this is nothing next to the abuse that “poor Angie has endured for just loving” as if someone that manipulative and mean can love anybody but herself.

And Keane, I was amazed to read the statement about Jolie being there after the cameras stop rolling. That’s a joke. The cameras are ALWAYS rolling when she makes drops down from the clouds to sit at a distance from a refugee. And she leaves with the cameras.
I do think that what you said is right. If they would just admit they are human. If she would go on Oprah and say “You know, it’s tough. I have a hard time doing it all. I wish I could be a better mom. I have some regrets. I’m only human just like everyone else.”—that would help. But her touch-down in Haiti was more of the same, and the same is profiting off desperate tragedies. Why does she never stay more than a day in any of these places?
Also, I don’t know how anyone could take up for her decision to take her young son to Iraq for a photo shoot.
