IUC Exclusive: GaGa no show for We Are The World Haiti Benefit – Was She Too Busy Having a Holly Jolie Time?
Yesterday, the world’s music elite gathered in L.A. to record We Are The World for the benefit of Haiti. Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion and Snoop Dogg were among the dozens of stars to show up. Incredibly, Lady Gaga was a no show, sparking further speculation that she was too busy spending time with the new love of her life. Randy Phillips, one of the organizers, said his “one regret” was the absence of dance-pop star Lady Gaga. Several actors also showed up for the benefit. No sign, however, of world renowned philanthropist Angie Jolie. Could it mean Gaga and Jolie were too busy doing acts of humane things together to better the world?
Nope I think she was too busy cooking up another total BS fako relationship PR story a la Billy Bob Thornton post the “I’m so in love with my brother right now”, I’m going to snog him at every available public outing episode to deflect from the genuinely awful truth threatening to come out about her right now. That’s what I think.

ReplyOh, just popped into the supermarket and saw that Grazia (and by association of course OK) have now dumped the ho and are Team Pitt – let the world rejoice! The cover story said the split was a matter of “when not if”, that Angelina used carefully orchestrated photo opps to manipulate the press (particularly the trip to the grocery store when she wore high heeled boots – can I give a shout out to Number One Fan of those nasty old boots, our Tam – despite the fact that neither of them cook! Talked about how Brad went along with it for a while as he was in “awe” of how she manipulated the media but is now completely over it and doesn’t think they need any more publicity than they already have (we might have noticed this Brad). It also brought up the “I doubt that fidelity is essential to a relationship” comment and how she is jealous of all the women in his life but in realtity the only constant in his life has ever been Jen, but went to great pains to say they had only ever been good friends. This was a two double-page spread and the cover photo and headline was actually of Jen not Ange, and they used a flattering photo of her too for a change, very pretty and natural looking in contrast to the ho. This is the beginning of the spinning of Brad out of the relationship with Ange and more than likely back into one with Jen IMO. So Grazia and OK are Team Pitt (this will make a major difference to her press in Europe BTW, these are the major celeb mags and dominate the market), so I think the only question left to ask is: which team is Ian on – Team Gagalina? Lol
ReplyI don’t know about this whole Gaga thing, but I did read on the Awful Truth today and Ted C. is hinting that the split is true this time. Remember when Ian reported Brangie had split back a few months ago? Before the book I mean. Ted C. answered a question in his Bitch Back column that said Brangie had not split …. yet. Today, he posted a very unflattering Q & A about a BRangie sighting in New Orleans a couple of years ago, and a story about Jon V. He is definitely hinting that he thinks Brangie is really over.

ReplyI never quite got that entire Whole Foods shopping trip except as a photo op. I mean what emergency could they have had that required she unbuckle two kids from their car seats, collect the blankies, assorted kid paraphernalia and her purse, trot through the aisles, stand in line and then run the gauntlet of the inevitable photogs and fans on the way back to the car all with the risk of a kiddie meltdown. Plus, whatever was in those bags would not feed a family of 8 for more than half an hour. Don’t they have a cook who shops? Or couldn’t she have sent the driver inside? Think, woman, think! Ah well, at least she didn’t repeat the plastic bag uh oh from last summer. Btw Gagalina … very funny.

Jon Voight: Angie & Brad Just Having a “Bad Day”? Uh-huh

We still have our doubts whether Jon Voight and estranged daughter Angelina Jolie really have reconciled…especially if he keeps talkin’ to the press about her life with partner Brad Pitt. But we like hearing about it, so we’re not complaining!
While at Clive Davis and the Recording Academy’s Grammy party over the weekend, Jon did his best to defend his daughter and her possibly-on-the-rocks relaysh with stinky Brad:
“It’s a very, very hard thing these days to be a celebrity, and to be the No. 1 celebrity in the world…it’s very hard,” Jon told us concerning the press interest in—make that obsession with—Brangelina’s status.
“You get all sorts of nice things,” he said. “But you get a lot of crazy stuff coming at ya, too.”
We pressed Voight a bit to see if he had any idea how Angie and Brad are handling the breakup rumors. If appearances really are everything, then you’d think Brangelina is happier than evah, considering their obvious PDA at the DGA Awards over the weekend.
Says Jon:
“How they deal with it…whether it’s my daughter or the other fellas…some have good days and bad days, I guess. [The rumors] are a pain in the neck. It’s like listening to static half of your day.”
By the way, all press at the DGAs, where Brad and Angelina supposedly made their everything’s-fine appearance—were sternly warned not to even breathe personal questions in Brad’s direction when he came backstage. Like idiots, they all obeyed as the still-wan, hairy, somewhat distracted Inglorious Basterds star appeared. Pity I wasn’t there.
I mean, why all the keep-mouths-shut biz, if everything’s so cool?
What do you all think—convinced now that everything’s just damn peachy in the land of Brange, or does something still smell fishy to you, too?

Replyvoight is SO loving the attention he’s getting right now over this. i saw him @ downtown disney/disneyland a few weeks ago, he was strolling through there practically asking people to stop and photo-op with him, it was kinda weird, def not low key. I’m super happy to see this post by TedC, just confirms my belief that the end is nigh for Vagelina and Squirrels are living in my Goatee Guy.
ReplyI am not so sure that I believe this. Don’t get me wrong, I despise Brangie and their phony, for show, do gooder behavior but this particular one I am having a hard time with.

ReplyP I can answer that. This blog is almost always about JP exclusively, particularly AJ; unless some previous prediction didn’t pan out. Then you will see a flood of stories about other stars. People who have never been mentioned before will suddenly be outed as gay/lesbian. Stars I didn’t even know were dating will be rumored to be breaking up. There will be the occasional exclusive scoop but, if you do your research you’ll see that another rag was in the process of printing it in their daily when it popped up here. Anything to flood these pages and water it down and into just another gossip site. Last time, AJ was sleeping with Madonna I think.

ReplyI kind of feel sorry for him, I agree with Ted somewhat, I doubt he has spent any time reconciling, poor guy, has to be hard to be treated like that by your child. I guess since he knows she has so many mental problems makes it tolerable for him, at least there is a way to excuse it.

Now I will update you with the truth since Meah does not have a clue. IAN reported in the last chat that he heard at one point she had a miscarriage, but after that she did not and she did in fact have the baby. He said he has no reason to doubt his source (for those who remember he knows her sister from years ago ) It is a small small world after all. So model and baby are living somewhere healthy and happy as far as we know . Did Brad pay her off? That would make sense if indeed it is his child. IAN also stated that without a DNA test there is no way to no for sure.
That sounded accurate to me.Meah didn’t do her homework.
Reply@ Meah – yep Madonna is the “female rock star” Angelina was alleged to have had an affair with and who I think Brad caught her in bed with. I think Ange’s affair with Madge is pretty widely accepted.
