Could this be the real reason for Brad’s mother coming to LA. If drugs are suspected, both angelina and Brad will be durg tested. In my state if a report comes in they are mandated to evaluate the situation within seventy two hours at the site. At least this is how it works in my state and I have worked as a proffessional with drug addiction and the department of department of social service.
ReplyOnce a case comes to the attention of department of social service, there might be restrictions concerning where the children are able to go ie out of the country if it is deemed that they are at risk.
ReplyWell if that is true we would have heard about an investigation by now! But there was nothing! Strange hm? It usually doesn`t take 2 weeks before the suspect gets a visit or does it? Because if it does they won`t find anything by now!

ReplyIf one person is brave enough to say something, don’t you think others will come forward. Sounds to me like the house of Brand is falling apart. Also, do you realize that if any professsional who is licensed as a professional sees something and does not report that they will be legally responsible and held culpable. ReplyIf there was an investigation, it is not broadcasted to the public, that’s for sure. Someone I know was investigated because she had just had a child with a wildly violent boyfriend. If a call is made to child services, an investigation must be made. Obviously, if it came from someone inside the house, it would be taken seriously. Also, the source of the call remains anonymous.
Damn, I feel so bad for those kids. Especially the little baby twins. I’ve heard they had to be sequestered because one of the other kids hurt one of them physically. One would think that with an army of nannies, things would be under control.
ReplyI also knew of another woman who was investigated. She up and left the country with her kid. It started her on a journey of moving from one country in South America to another (she had family there). Naturally, her incentive was avoiding the scrutiny that came from child services. One gets drug tested as part of the ongoing monitoring.
I have a hard time believing Pitt just agreed to handing over primary physical custody of the kids if she’s in the midest of a child services investigation. Sad situation.
ReplyYou finally found something I find hard to believe. I’m sure staff would have notified childrens services before this. By some odd chance that this is true and people know about this, how can they sleep at night? Britney Spears met with childrens services and it wasn’t kept private.

Glum Angelina steps out as dad Jon Voight blasts break-up rumours as ‘ridiculous’
Angelina Jolie looked sombre as she stepped out in public for the first time since reportedly breaking up with Brad Pitt.

Pitt was nowhere to be seen as the actress faced the cameras dressed in black with her brother James Haven on her arm instead.
Her first public outing came as famous father Jon Voight waded in to his daughter’s relationship woes by branding the rumours ‘ridiculous’.
After seven years of not talking with Ange, Midnight Cowboy actor Voight stepped in to insist she is still very much with Pitt despite Brad’s low profile.
Grilled over the ‘rift’, the Oscar winner said: “Nonsense. It’s all made up stuff.”
The actor’s rare comment about his daughter’s family life comes seven years after he and his Jolie fell out when he publicly said she had “serious mental problems” on a US TV show in 2001.

The pair reportedly made up at the end of last year when Voight, 71, said: “We’re in touch, but not regularly. We love each other and that’s the most important thing.”
Meanwhile, insiders say the whole ‘break-up’ storm engulfing Brangelina was sparked after they visited lawyers to outline a legal document similar to a pre-nup just in case.
“Brad and Angelina had a meeting with a top law firm in Los Angeles in December, where they worked out terms of a legal document similar to a pre-nup”, said a US source.
“The couple signed the document in early January. They agreed to share their money and assets and custody of their six children, all of whom would live with Angelina in the event of their parents’ break-up.”
Meanwhile, Jolie has diverted attention away from the bedroom after releasing a touching public tribute on the web to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, posting a family holiday video shot in Hawaii back in 1981.
Jolie, 34, and her brother James Haven, 36, used the clip to celebrate the anniversary of Bertrand’s death after she passed away from ovarian cancer three years ago.
A young Jolie can be seen playing with her mum and brother on the beach to the background music of Somewhere Over The Rainbow in the short clip.
A message at the end of the two minute clip says: “We Miss You Mom…With Love, Angelina and James.”
ReplyI don’t doubt for a second she is still doing drugs. But, I always gave her the BOTD and said she was a fairly decent mother that loved her kids. Why would Brad leave his kids in this enviornment? Then again, the dude is weak as hell. And, if all the reports about him trying/begging her to seek help are true, why would he give her primary custody? Apparently, she is unstable. Maybe, he is not the good day he portrays himself to be and is only concerned about his freedom. They have nannies, so they will be taken care of. Or, he could also be on drugs. I won’t say I think this is untrue b/c with these two, you never know. But, I trust Ian. He has been proven right too many times for me to doubt anything he say. And, he wouldn’t put this up, unless somebody really did tell him that. IDK, we will have to sit back and enjoy this ride because this will be one hell of a show.

This is TedC’s story from today:
Sometimes it’s the things you can’t actually see that explain it all.
Rumors have been hotter than ever that the oh-so-adored entity known as Brangelina is no more. However, myriad sources from Camp Brangie say everything’s peachy, too fab! But, we have not-exactly-great news on the gorgeous twosome ourselves, sorry.
“Something’s up…definitely,” ‘fesses our insider. Want to hear more? Well, cover your nostrils and proceed…
“Brad is looking horrible. Just horrible. He smells more than ever,” swears a worried friend.
Mon dieu! Why’s that?
“I’m not sure, exactly, but they are spending more and more time apart,” Deep Brange tells us about why friends of the power couple are starting to get quite concerned.
Brad, for instance, was recently without Angelina up in San Francisco, where our Brangie pal insists Mr. P looked, acted and smelled like “a wandering homeless person.”
Plus, it doesn’t look like the issue of separate locales is going to be reconciled anytime soon, with Angie heading over to Italy to shoot The Tourist with Johnny Depp.
Whatever is going on between Angie and Brad is taking a toll on Mr. Pitt, that’s for sure. Anybody with any olfactory sense nearby knows that.
And if you don’t believe us regarding Brad’s increasing disheveled appearances (and moods?), darling, we’re gathering photographic evidence; stay tuned for that tragic baby! But come on, ever since going with Jolie, the once impeccably handsome hunk has gone rapidly downhill.
Jeez, wonder whatever could be taking a toll on Brad. Surely it can’t have anything to do with A.J. being a Blind Vice Superstar? Sure, probably has something to do with it, but don’t think Pitt’s perfect, because remember, he’s one, too!
Still think we all are stirring the breakup pot? Yeah right. Just wait, you all… Brad and Angelina’s fairy-tale ending just ain’t gonna happen.

ReplyI don’t know which of Ted’s blind items are Pitt, but its been rumored for a long time that Ted’s “Fake-a-la Ferocity” blind items are about AJ, and they usually have to do with drug use. That, and Ted’s use of the word ‘pot’ in the last paragraph, make me think he’s suggesting drug use, perhaps encouraged by Jolie, is the reason for Pitt’s decline and the end of Brangelina. I’ve read rumors for a long time that Pitt smoked pot – and he admitted as much during interviews about ‘Inglorious Bastards’ – however, I didn’t think he was dumb enough to get into harder drug use, like heroin. But, Ian’s item today about Brangelina’s house being a drug den makes me wonder anew . . .
I knew AJ was F a la F, and I assumed the drug use was AJ’s. Do you now suppose BP has progressed to harder stuff than pot?
ReplyThe maids and housekeepers are starting to talk. Not terribly sure I believe everything I’m hearing (though I have been entertained) but it IS something that all these people suddenly aren’t so afraid to share. Before everyone was all zipped up (except the bodyguard). Now…..not so much. Now some of the multitudes of servants are starting to sense a weakness and probably an end to the household. They aren’t as afraid of protecting their jobs because they aren’t so sure about their jobs if the household splits.
ReplyAnd it’s common knowledge these two use drugs. QT talked about smoking really good hash with Brad (and Brad left town for France the day after that tidbit hit the papers and stayed gone until the quote was forgotten)—AJ has videos on the internet of her using drugs and she’s talked openly about using drugs.
The only question is whether they leave stuff out. Well….if the nannies are taking care of the kids and the maids are cleaning up and know to leave the drug stuff alone—-it seems plausible. “Drug Den” was probably strong—it was probably some marijuana or hash laying around. Still not great for kids to be around in case they eat it—but then again that’s what why they pay the nannies, right? Maybe that’s how the thinking goes in the house.
My guess: Brad’s pot is laying around. I think whatever Angie is using is probably much more potent and is probably in a drawer by her bed. Just a guess.
ReplyLiving with Angelina would have me doing every drug available to man. This woman will never have a lasting relationship because she is too screwed up. And, if she is left with the children, she will mess them up as well. Like I said before, maybe Brad has turned to harder drugs. It wouldn’t be all that surprising. How many times have a person in HW hooked up with another person on drugs only to end up doing drugs themselves?
ReplyIf Brad is aware (how could he NOT be) of Angie’s hard drug use around the kids, and he lets it go on , he’s culpable under the law. Seems he cannot get his man-up to legally force AJ into rehab, take the kids and leave for their safety, therefore I do think Brad has graduated into the hard drugs as well. His appearance, his whipped attitude, his pathetic personal hygene or lack of all indicate a druggie. I’m glad staff, friends, family are now speaking out for it appears to me we are not far away from reading an obit about one or more of the Jolie-Pitts. Pitt Family! Take Charge and get them help! Because daddy Voight, and lover-boy James certainly don’t seem to have any plan to do so.@pickwick:

If this is true, how sad. Sounds like he’s kind of strung out and heading for a crash and burn. Might explain why the family and friends are so involved with “interventions” and other efforts. She really took him to the dark side, didn’t she?
But I’m also entertaining the possibility that this is an exaggerated negative bs story planted by an AJ friend/flack/relative to make him look bad as they go their separate ways. Maybe the cold war just went hot.

ReplyI don’t know. His appearance, I think, is more akin to a guy who just woke up in the gutter after drinking all night. Looks like alcoholism to me, and the inability to DO anything–the apathy—fits in perfectly with depression and pot-smoking. I think he would be losing weight—not getting a little puffier—if he was doing something harder. AJ, however, is wasting away and obviously doing something much different than smoking a little pot and drinking too much.
If Brad Pitt has a theme song right now it’s something like Tom Wait’s gravelly voice singing “I don’t want to grow up” with Keith Richards.

Oh my God that video tribute stunt is repulsive, do these two (Angelina and James obviously) have no shame? Disgraceful.
And as for the drugs thing well quelle surprise again. Just to put this into perspective I would like to state that virtually all celebs do coke. Even the ones you would think wouldn’t even know what a drug was (famiky favourite, national treasure type TV presenters in their 60’s etc) are major cokeheads. A lot of production staff in the TV industry do coke, hell a lot of my friends who do very respectable jobs do it too, and pills and definitely hash. It is so common. So to think that there might be one or two drugs hanging around the house of someone who is a self-confessed former junkie is not exactly the hardest thing for me to believe right now. And no I don’t think it would just be hash, which is not the sort of thing a child would necessarily pick up and try to eat. What they may try to eat are pills, little bags of powder that look like sherbert etc. Like Sadie Frost’s daughter did when she swallowed an ecstasy pill that she supposedly found on the floor of Soho House. Yes, right. I can say that I’ve been to Soho House and it is definitely not the type of old warehouse type establishment where you might find drugs lying around on the floor, it is a very upmarket, exlcusive, expensive, members only bar. And this was at a children’s birthday party in the day-time too. I think we all know Sadie and Jude’s daughter did not find that pill on the floor. I wonder what Brangelina’s children find, and where.

I agree. I am working in children’s services at the moment and see a fair few troubled children. It is pretty easy to spot even to the untrained eye. But you don’t need to be a professional to see that Shiloh and Pax are unhappy, vulnerable children. Those sad, confused little faces break my heart every time. Seeing them being dragged out for photo opps time and time again for the benefit of mom and dad is seriously disturbing to me. Well, unforgivable in fact. Who could possibly respect such individuals?

Today we hear Brad literally stinks to high heaven, is headed toward junkie crash & burn, dead-beat dad status and AJ & Brother Haven are being seen in public again after releasing a loving video tribute to their poor deceased mother, who evidently, they are not allowing to rest in peace.

ReplyWhy is Ang considered one of the most powerful women in Hollywood? She made a few movies years ago that were hits – but nothing successful in years. She can’tr act – doesn’t have a production company that is making hit movies – she doesn’t write or direct – all she IS good at is creating enough trauma & drama to stay on the tabloid covers. Is that what people think make her powerful?
Also – where does all Ang & Brads money come from? I know they have gotten paid top dollar salaries in the past – but not enough to support their seemingly lavish life style?

That photo of Angelina with James says it all though doesn’t it? If anyone is looking for confirmation of the split then this is undoubtedly it. So to deny rumours of a split, Angelina steps out on the town – for the first time in the history of Brangelina – with someone other than Brad Pitt. Her other long-time love in fact – her brother! It is too perfect! Her and James together doesn’t quite have the same effect as her and pretty boy Brad though does it? In fact, he only seems to emphasise the point that she is actually quite weird looking, with those big stare-y eyes, just like him. She just doesn’t quite cut it on her own does she? She was dependent on that pretty blonde, small-featured, symmetrical-faced Brad Pitt to off-set her more odd-looking charms. It has always been the juxtaposition of the two of them together to me that made them so visually powerful. It was like one of them provided the things image-wise that the other one lacked. He gave her blonde, regular featured, blue-eyed prettiness. She gave him exotic, sultry, haughty, dramatic seductiveness. On their own, he’s a bit boring and she’s a bit weird. The end. And so I think it will be.

A large cut of proceeds from the sales of the pics from all their pre-arranged supposedly candid photo opps. I have heard that they formerly had a deal with a pap agency where they took 50% of proceeds, but then told them they were going to have to up it to 2/3 of proceeds after they spent all that money on furniture for their $40 million French chateau. These pics make big money, literally hundreds of thousand per pic. And how often do we see pics of one or other of Brangelina? It’s pretty much on a weekly, or every other week basis, sometimes more. Plus a major source of revenue also comes from all the endorsements they do which peope don’t often realise are such. The photo opps at McDonalds, the carrying of bags of cheetos, the shopping trips to Apple and the Disney Store, all the clothes that Brangelina and the children wear, press releases about Angelina and kids shopping at Baby Gap and how much she loves the new palm pre. ALL paid endorsemnents, and we’re talking millions of dollars again. Ker-ching Brangelina! One thing you can say for sure about them is that they LOVE money and are massively greedy. They just can’t seem to get enough of the cold hard de niro. Sad.

Hm, well I don’t think even she is that crafty. I think it was a happy accident. They became mega celebs to me for that reason alone – just that they look hot together, nothing else. It is almost like between them they have every element of what we consider attractive, they are covering all bases. If you think about her with Jonny Lee Miller, or Colin Farrell or pretty much anyone else it just doesn’t have the same effect. Brad really was her best match publicity-wise in this respect. And it has always been purely about image and image alone. They are a brand, a sign without meaning. Any meaning that has been ascrbed to them (primarily by them) is arbitrary and doesn’t stick. Brangelina is about looking hot and having beautiful kids and going on loads of trips around the world. Nothing else. I don’t think Angelina quite gets this though. She was never going to get that best actress oscar, she was never going to be a politician, to do these things you have to have substance, not just style. Brangelina, as hard as they are spun by their people, just do not have this. And the whole oscar attempt on her part was just funny to me. She made two films in which the most absolutely essential thing in the character she played was to have a heart and portray to depth of emotion. What we got was someone who looked good in the period costume (Changeling) and someone who did a good impersonation of the real person because she was her mate (A Mighty Heart). There was absolutely no emotion in those performances whatsoever. She was never going to get an oscar for it in a million years. Like CZJ she can only play shallow. How ironic then that her people have tried to put it out that her invented nemesis Jennifer Aniston is a shallow, selfish nobody. I wonder if Angelina was their inspiration? Lol

There is only one thing that I know which causes that much dilation.
There were three actresses who were denied oscar nominations so that AJ would get one: Sally Hawkins, Kristen Scott-Thomas and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
One recalls about the oscar season a yr. ago; that Clint Eastwood, who directed AJ in “The Changeling” had a most distinct look on his face every time AJ appeared at the award shows. He seemed like a guy who had rec’d some kind of “special” satisfaction from the object of our attention.

They DO love money. I was really shocked to see that Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were the highest earning Hollywood couple. I rarely see their kid. I think I dislike Brad and Angie to the point where I would actually come here to vent about them because of the way they use their kids and the way the press is so afraid of them. They adopt kids from all over and there are some questions raised about whether the adoptions were done correctly and they didn’t address these issue and the press just got…..quiet. QT says Brad does drugs (and who cares? I don’t…..but the rules are so different for them. Regular adoptive parents would get in serious trouble for these kinds of allegations) and they leave the country and the press is …..quiet.
And no other Hollywood celeb uses their kids to the degree these two do. They behave like reality stars—as though they still have to claw their way out of obscurity.
They’ve been so image conscious from the beginning—that awful W spread (which also turned me off to them quickly). You’re right about the image and how his blond looks balance her looks, making her look exotic and more appealing.
Does Tom Hanks have kids? If he does, I haven’t seen them. I had never seen Travolta’s kids before they lost their son and they had the family photo released. Does Speilberg have kids? I wouldn’t know about Calista Flockhart’s son if they hadn’t released a photo when she adopted him. Nicolas Cage has a kid, doesn’t he? But I haven’t seen him or her. I’ve seen Jack Nicholson’s kids now that they’re older and go to the basketball game with him.
ReplyI saw something a few years ago, some story, about a weird guy who had gotten a Maddox tattoo. That was before Brad, I think, when she was parading Maddox around. Those are the types of people out in the world that you probably don’t want knowing every detail about your kid.

When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is getting ready to settle their relationship, in comes Billy Bob Thornton to join the battle. He is rumored to join the battle for his adopted son Maddox.
According to reports from Ian Halperin the 54-year old Academy Award Winner will demand full custody of Maddox, who was adopted by Jolie while in a relationship with Billy Bob, that made the actor, Maddox’s adopted father. But when Jolie separated from him, she received Maddox’s full custody. She then went to Pitt and Maddox got his title change to Jolie-Pitt as he and Zahara was adopted by Brad Pitt.
Last year there was reports that Billy Bob is planning to file case to gain the custody of Maddox as he believes that Pitt’s adoption was was fraudulent and he is still Maddox’s father. With the recent rumors making rounds that Brangelina is about to move away from each other’s life Billy Bob will surely use this opportunity to get what he wants. According to our sources the man has already started proceedings to set-up his custody battle for Maddox and it will be heartbreaking for both Pitt and Jolie if they lose Maddox to the “Sling Blade” star.
It is still not sure that if they are splitting but Billy Bob can easily execute his plan over all the silly issues that are going on in the couple’s life. Another report that is coming in from Showbizspy and again involves Mr.Halperin, states that Brangelina’s mansion is a “Drug Den” as he was informed by the housekeeper of that mansion and Billy Bob can surely capitalize on it. Hope he doesn’t get any chance to snatch Maddox from Jolie and Pitt’s life coz we really doubt Thornton as a father coz with 5 failed marriages the ma doesn’t deserve to have Maddox.
