Yeah they are hardly known in the UK, a lot of American stars aren’t to be honest. The only reason I’ve ever heard of people like this at all is through reading gossip blogs! When it comes to the likes of JoBros and Miley Cyrus, most people in the UK are like uh, who??? Lol
ReplyFrankly my dear, I don’t give a dam(n). LOL. I’m afraid the Miley Cirus (Hanna Montana) BS with her posing for photos seductively with daddy, and the stripper pole thingie as well as dating a man nearly 10 yrs her senior while a minor….well, I”m not into the tweens of today.
ReplyNO, I won’t miss them..think their 15 minutes fame is up. About 4 years ago my oldest grandchild,now 17, her mother and me went in a trip to the Caribbeean and to make the story short, we missed our flight and ended up in a fly that goes all over the US (lucky me). We were flying for about 16 hours but we made stops. In one of the stops, I think it was Chicago, the Jonas Brothers came aboard and they caused an uproar in the plane. You won’t believe the girls in the plane, were like whispering screams, the stewardess trying to calm them and my grandchild was acting ‘bizarre’ for this boys she has seen on TV and listen to on the radio. I didn’t know who they were then, now I know. She along with a mini crowd of 13 or 15 years old girls, kind of chased them when they got out in our next stop (I believed was Miami) for an autograph. There were really nice, concided and my older daughter even took a picture of them with her phone. This was in the Miami Stop I believe, anyway today if you ask my grandaugther for them and she will give you the ‘I don’t care look’ or annoy with this group look”. No she doesn’t care anymore and I think millions of fans either, so their time is up. I heard they are trying to bring a ‘little’ brother’ to join the group. They have a TV show now but I think is a ‘flop’. I wish them the best!

Does Scientolgy get a lot of money off dead Elvis? His estate has certainly done well with her running it, so i reckon she gives a nice chunk to them. What are your thoughts on this?
The Jonas Bros. may retire their act, but I imagine they’ll show up in the future as single acts and then of course a few tiresome ‘reunion’ tours. One of them was doing a solo act on Letterman the other night, so they are on that path already. I’m not into tween celebrities, but then if I refused to listen to every musical act that annoyed me, I’d probably have 10-15 minutes of tunes available.

Mooki – yes they were both having some sort of celebration at Graceland in honor of Elvis’ birthday yesterday.
If you have to part with your cash (which the French lawsuit and others claimed) it would follow suit that Prscilla gives the Scio’s Elvis money. Am I right or wrong on this?

For example Robbie Williams, didn’t even know who he was until he started getting in trouble and then landed on the cover of every news mag. And even then, it was only because I read the Daily Mail! hahahaha Same goes for the likes of Jade Goody and Kerri Katona, what were they famous for? Reality shows?

surprised that Lisa Marie and Priscilla are even going to these events together because L. Marie was closer to her father and I think she said in an interview that she felt betrayed when Priscilla left Elvis for the karate instructor.

I only thought about it because of seeing it yesterday and remembering things you had said on the topic. They also had Lisa Marie’s son on there. They were noting his Elvis resemblance.

For being famous primarily – we have a lot of those over here, it is a whole new career! Jade Goody was on Big Brother but didn’t win. Kerry Katona was in a mildly successful girl band until she quit to have kids with someone from Westlife who cheated on her and they eventually split (he is now with Delta Goodrem, very pretty Australian singer). She went on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here before the split and won. She was being represented by the company I was working for at the time, she used to call in every day (she was relatively normal then). My friends (her agents) coached her on how to behave in the jungle and it worked. She was a joke before, then became loved by everyone (this was the series that Katie Price and Peter Andre met on and was what made them so famous). She thanked them by promptly leaving that company for Max Clifford and it has all been downhill from there really. It’s a shame because her previous agents were nice people who cared about her. Max Clifford, uh, not so much!

L. Marie and the kids did not look like they wanted to be @ the Graceland event (especially Riley Keough and Ben Presley they had a “why the hell are we here?” look on their faces the entire time. L. Marie looked a bit hurried and a bit pissed in her interview)
