Hubby’s gift just got here, and they are setting it up now – Sony Bravia 46″ LCD television and cabinet. Why did i do this? I hate those old time westerns he watches over and over…awww, not. BTW, Brange look happy in that coffee shop don’t they? And the comments under the pic on TMZ were hilarious. Not quite as popular as they used to be are they? My personal favourite: Speidi – The Prequel – spot on! Oh and still no sight of those pesky “twins” of course. Wonder why that could be? I guess they only like to go out to ice cream shops in Syria. Clearly at 18 months (well one of them at least), these “twins” are already telling mom and dad exactly what they will and won’t do photo opp-wise i.e. fast food joints and coffee shops in the US are so not worth getting out of bed for!

One of the highlights (tempered by the negatives at the same time) in my life in the Lower Forty Eight, is when I visited Reno, Nevada. It was the first time in years that I saw falling snow. It was dark and the city lights highlighted the big snowflakes. “Thought I’d died and gone to heaven!”

The reality is you crowd – IUC rejects., whatever people want to call you – are pissed as hell you didn’t back the winning horse (i.e. Ian) and you are all too proud and immature to admit it. Ian’s book has done well, it has made waves in the media and it has forced Brangelina’s hand like nothing before. I personally find watching them perform for the world like broken puppets in the light of it fascinating. It’s a shame you yet again, got everything wrong and thought Ian was a fraud. Newsflash: he’s not, it was a big achievement to get that book out there, it is the first chink in the armour of Brangelina’s near stranglehold on the world media, and in terms of freedom of the press, hugely, hugely important. The media was becoming like a Brangelina-controlled dictatorship there for a while and it was truly scary. Ian’s book has shown that money can’t protect you from everything. And thank the Lord for that.

So true. Have to say though as well that the hysteria that has been created around this Robsten supposed couple has taken the attention off Brangelina in a major way. They just aren’t the hot couple any more and people aren’t anywhere near as interested. At the end of the day the interest in Brange was always 100% superficial i.e. don’t they look hot together and make pretty children. I don’t think it ever amounted to any more than that. Now they are past their best and have played all their attention whore cards. And meanwhile. someone more interesting came along. Jolie will die when she starts to realise people don’t care about her as much any more and she is past her peak, in fact she probably is now. And as for Brad well I still keep asking myself the question: he was a movie star – why trade that in to be part of a tabloid couple? He effed up big time IMO.

Read the article and don’t look at the comments at all – they are extremely ugly as always and made by all the Brangie fans who jump from their idols’ topics to the topics about Jen. That’s the one thing that has always made me think that this blog has been on Brangelina’s payroll since the start.
On the bright side, the presenting job is such a sign of respect for Jen and her place in the movie business! She’s made a totally independent career for herself and doesn’t need any romantic connections to be in high demand and to be reckoned with. I’m so glad about it!
I wish everybody here fantastic holidays, many gifts and great time with all the people you love. May all your dreams come true! It’s interesting to be here and I’ll be back as soon as a new topic is created on Ian’s blog.

ReplyOMG! Yay, I didn’t miss it! I had to go to friend’s last night to do the christmas dinner stuff. Then we had to go to her other’s friends to see their amazing decorations including six full size trees fully done up – the woman is a maniac (and had magnums of champagne) and it got so late we didn’t even go home.
