IUC Monday Soup: Brittany Foul Play; NY Post Tiger; IUC Personality of Year?

Posted on December 21st, 2009 by HisHighness in IUC:Bits, IUC:Entertainment, IUC:Exclusive

BRITTANY MURPHY OBIT- I guarantee this was more than just “natural causes”. My sources say the talented actress fought bulimia and drug addiction for years and surrounded herself with a bunch of undesirables. Another Hollywood tragedy. Very sad!!! RIP Brittany Murphy (Toronto Star)
- I apeared in Page Six yesterday – check it out (Page Six)
- Who do you think should be IUC personality of 2009? Let us know.

That honor should be given to Jennifer Aniston because she has behave like a ‘trooper’ in hard times. She is the target of negative side of the fence however very well loved by people including me. She behaved like a ‘lady’ when a ‘no such lady’ treated her like ‘crap’. If that was me and that was my hubby I don’t know what I would do. But Jen did ‘nothing’ but move ahead and she came out ahead indeed. And there is so much more I can say about Jen. Let’s leave at that.

Yano marty, that is so very true. For all her negative comments over the Ho stealing her hubby and the class and style with which she handled the entire situation for FIVE years I would say she deserves a medal in the least. She could so easily lost her temper and irrationally bit on the bait Angie put out there (Brad left Jen because she refused to have his child), when Angie knew very well what a low blow that would be to ANY woman. Brad showed what a male HO he is as well during this time. Congratulations to Jennifer Aniston, A Survivor with style and class! @marty:

Seem like I have a little more time to write now, so let’s see Gale: I always like and loved Britannny Murphy’s movies. Now I always also read the heading positive and negative about her and although I suspect foul play too there is nothing I can do but respect her and love her. I feel sorry and sad that she’s gone. I feel bad for her family too. I hope that if they find out someone is responsible for her death, they apply the force of the law on this person or persons. Or if she died or other cause we won’t know until they see the toxicology reports.

Poor Simon Monjack, he’s expectedly distraught over the loss of his wife, and now it appears Brittany didn’t update her will. It would be horrible to have to contend with legalities after such a loss. God bless him and I hope he has people around him who truly care and will be of some assistance. RIP Brittany Murphy, you left too soon.

As for those who are blasting us for discussing Brittany……..it is being discussed EVERYWHERE. Why should we not talk about it here? I think this girl had a very pure heart that people related too and feel really bad that she crashed and burned. If we want to share our thoughts on her you shouldn’t get so upset about it. Gosh! I didn’t know that, thanks Vittoria. Well, he didn’t make out in that case, reports are she never updated her will nor added a codicil after marrying Simon. It’s just so sad, so many young celebrities dying so young. I think it’s because no one is stepping in to say STOP to all the illegal drug use in HW….too many doing the same thing so they all form a clique who covers and hides it. Pity. To have so much and at the same time to have…nothing.@Vittoria:

My husband died suddenly and horribly. Now I know we all handle grief differently…. but this? No effing way. That is not normal. That’s telling.

For all you AJ lovers: I found these disturbing quotes of Angie herself after googling quotes. Go find this ppl, you’ll be amaze, have your head analize and run for the first psicological hospital you can find, but run. Here they are: (not in order, there’s more)
1( “If I didn’t have my films as an outlet for all the different sides of me, I would be probably locked up”. and quote.
Scary isn’t it? So her father was right, she even call herself ‘nut’?..you won’t be locked up unless you commit a crime or are crazy..hummm?
    2) “Theraphy? I don’t need that, the roles I choose are my therapy”.
This is more scary, usually the ‘crazy’ ones think they are not crazy or needing therapy. Someone in a right mind would welcome and appreciate it. Analize that! Soe her film career is declining as we all know. So if she going KOO_kOO??.. Now we now what BP mother meant with the phrase: “be careful’ to Brad. I would be too.
    3) There is something about death that is comforting, The thought that you could die tomorrow frees you to appreciate your life now” and quote.
This is is contradictory, does she value her life now? or after she’s death, after death there is no more life, just spirit as we don’t know because no one has come back literary from the death besides the few minutes some claimed. I myself not afraid of dying but it is different to what she says here. I don’t see death as comforting unless you are in a bed with a terrible disease the you probably wished you were death. Does this mean she doesn’t appreciate life now?.. The most SCARY one! If I was Brad, I sleep with one eye open. Ha, Ha, Ha!!

    (((((Vittoria))))) on your loss.

It amazes and appalls me that it is now commonplace for the grieving family/spouse to be interviewed on the news or wherever immediately following their loss. I think in those cases the media are vultures – of course people need to talk of loved ones right after their loss, but not on TV.

Actually, I rather enjoy it when it’s dark and all the festive lights are on…just watching the little ones look of awe when they see so many pretties just for them is excitement enough for me, and the bonus is no more cooking for a week due to …..ta da! I think the “respect” has gone out of the paparazzi these days; how horrible it would be to lose your loved one and then have a million and one strangers extending a pole with a mic on the end in your face screaming questions at you. There is a time for paps questioning celebs, and a time to give them the same space to grieve anyone would deserve. Shame on the paps.
Vittoria, you have endured so much and said so little in complaint about it that I have to tell you how much I admire you. It can’t have been an easy road for you to be traveling, but know that you are not alone. It is said , “He never gives you more than you can carry”, true, I do believe that, but I also know that sometimes the load is all you can bear and one little bit more is too much. You have done a wonderful job with your family and your endevours and surely that will lead you to the reward you so richly deserve in this lifetime. God Bless! Merry Christmas.@too curious:

Off topic totally, can I just ask – Ian especially – whether there have ever been any rumours re: Guy Ritchie being a little, uh, “light in the loafers” (as Ian might say!). I only ask because of this Sherlock Holmes film coming out with RDJ and Jude Law in it (both bi or gay I would wager) and one of Ted C’s recent blinds about a multi-talented someone called Butter Pussy who wanted to come out but was concerned about the affect it might have on her extended family and husband (not sure if it said ex-) which I thought may well be Madonna. Can’t think of anyone other than her and Angelina who would fit. Plus, that whole marriage of Ritchie and Madge always screamed “desperate for publicity” to me more than true love. Plus he has always gone out of his way to act like he is this hardman cockney geezer which he most certainly is not (he’s actually rather posh). Then I read this blind about a beautiful blonde who had married into wealth and privilege who was a “late-blooming lesbian” and had been seen all around town (London) holding hands with and kissing girls. I guessed Claudia Schiffer and LockStock producer and Ritchie’s BFF Matthew someone for this. May be totally off base, but just joining up the dots. Any thoughts Ian?!

My personality of the year is, of course, Jennifer Aniston. She is one of the most graceful, resilient people I’ve ever seen and I think her class is very difficult to surpass. To those who use Brad Pitt as an argument that she is unlucky, my answer is: she’s better off without him. Whoever needs a cheater who is so devoid of respect that he leaves you in front of the entire world in the middle of making a movie and starts a family with his current co-star as soon as the two of you separated? No number of bio children and adoptions makes it look any better. Besides, she managed to accomplish something that makes me take my hat off to her – not only is she talented but she’s a big Hollywood star in her own right and doesn’t need any man, even Mr Pitt, to shine. She doesn’t need any power couple anymore because she’s got her own power but I don’t think she ever needed the power couple thing anyway. Hear Ms Jolie? She doesn’t need to play a lover, a wife, a partner to anybody big to be successful and YOU HAVE TO. This is something you yet have to learn and this relationship with Brad Pitt is all you have. Jennifer Aniston has a LOT more going for her than just the people she is with.

Angelina Jolie should be the personality of the year. I have never seen so many nutjobs, obsessed with one woman in my life. Angelina is the reason, the Jenretards live and breath it seems, without her what would they have to whine, moan, obsess and complain about. Angelina rules the Jenretard’s world. GO ANGELINA!!!!!
