Badsha referring to Omar Badsha a famous South African documentary photographer, then we get to Tamarind which is a tree bearing fruit that grows throughout South Africa mainly in the SUDAN (Sudanese model bearing Brad’s fruit?)….Oh SR, thanks again, this is such fun~!!

STOP THE PRESSES – PUZZLE IS SOLVED! I have found almost all of the phrases posted in this article by Ian in various articles in a magazine called LA Magazine, October 2009 edition! Sorry folks there is no hidden meaning in this puzzle re Brangie – it is Sugar/Ray’s Ian’s little joke on us – he took out descriptive phrases that he found while reading the magazine! If you dont believe me, just go to the LA Magazine October 2009 issue and look through the various articles (HomeGrown, The War Within, Little India article is where you will find the first six phrases here – another article is about returning veterans (The War Within) etc etc . Do I get a reward Sugar Ray/Ian for solving the puzzle! ha ha – it was fun trying to do it! :D :P

Because if you take it apart, a pattern starts to develop as follows:

lychee – the king of fruits
Badsha – roughly equivalent to Christian Emperors or the ancient notion of “Great King”.

and there’s a lot more but I won’t continue trying to figure it out if its all BS- LOL

Saffron Silk – a lipstick called Addiction by Elle
Kumbaya – “Kumbaya, my Lord” started out in the 1920s as a Gullah spiritual sung on the islands of South Carolina between Charleston and Beaufort – wasn’t Angie reported to be into the voodoo magic,
Iconic Casablanca – the Greatest Love Story Ever Told

Hi Stranger! Just a bunch of random meaningless quotes from a magazine is my guess. He knows we love to “read into the depths” of these puzzles and ascribe all kinds of meanings to them. I think he is just playing a game with the quotes and knows that we love to think they have hidden meanings when they dont. That is my opinion of course. It doesnt bother me – it is a puzzle that still can be solved by just finding the sources of the quotes – its all a fun game. :D

Well all the early references are to south Asia – the Gujarati are a people in the north of India with a crossover to Pakistan and Iran – Badsha is an Indian King (spelt wrong I assume, should be Badshah), tamarind is a fruit commonly found in south-east Asia, lychee is similar, saffron is again from India. So that’s where it’s based. “As iconic as Casablanca” – are we talking about a place in India which is iconic as Casablanca, or is it a reference to the doomed romance of the film? Some dumb slip-ups/mistakes. No idea what “ghostly wallpapered pages” means. This bit: “drives her to Kumbaya…booming and bonking…fusion scores” – could be a reference to the proselytizing James, preaching and banging” maybe. I think “bee removal service in autumn” means that there will be some pest control taking place in Autumn – Ian being the pest I assume. That’s my thoughts on Brangie anyway, but oddly, this post reads more to me like it is about some of the people who have been reading and commenting here. There are a few references which stick out. I could have totally made that up though.

“facebook and yahoo” – she added Ian as a friend on FB thinking she would find us, only none of us are friends with Ian on FB!
“bee removal service in the autumn” removal of pests from IUC.
    “the war within”
Lots of comments about false assumptions, getting things wrong, stupid mistakes, garbage, fantasy worlds, frought (conflation of fraught and fought) with irony etc.

My first impression is that Ian is saying he is pissed with his readers/commenters. Might be totally wrong though!

Lol people~! A good ole Snake Oil Salesman could twist anything to have double meanings. It’s all in how individuals perceive it. I’m a Glass Half Full person. My take is that it is another puzzle, intended to give us the entertaining fun of solving the clues to find the hidden meaning. Nothing dramatic about it. SR has done how many of these? And why in the world would IAN or SR want to insult the very fans who have stood by him regardless of what BS was tossed at them? Nah, he’s too classy an act to stoop to Elementary School Playground Power Plays…. It’s not about who is or isn’t mad at whom at the moment, it’s IAN and SR doing what they have always done, and do it well. ENTERTAIN US with a fun puzzle to solve. Does it really matter where he pulls the phrases he uses as long as they give clues toward solving the hidden meaning? Hasn’t he used phrases out of Angie’s favorite book, The Color Purple ? Why then would this be any different. Give up wearing the Defeatist’s Cloak and work on the puzzle in the manner in which it was given…FUN~! Yano, some people would burn a winning lottery ticket if they believed those who said it wasn’t a real ticket. Silly analogy, but rings true here as well. Have Trust! Believe! Until we KNOW for certainty otherwise, don’t borrow problems that aren’t ours to begin with!

I think Ian is saying the FF posters and the IUC posters are like a homegrown Brangie, constantly at war with each other. I think he wants us to kiss and make up and start banging again 12 times a day. I for one am up for it as I always fancied giving Constant Gardener a good shafting so I will extend the kumbaya pipe of peace to the FF brigade. Just as long as I don’t have to be Angie in this scenario, now that really would be insulting! Night all x

American Bandstand/ Payolla? Venture Capital Dollars/ Baby Photos Moneys not donated as stated…..and so many more lies, falsehoods from the lips of the Silver Tongued Devil Child…aka Angelina Jolie

I think the phrases coming from LA Magazine is a reference to Hollywood – you know, the movie industry where they make *most* of their millions. Cause they are soooooooooo over Hollywood and the industry – until time to film their next movie. Angie is now overdue to take how many years off? Several for each kid?

And frankly, my impression of Sugar is that she is far too intelligent and sweet to spend a lot of time on a riddle about – posters? Like why would she give a flip? Because we are the center of the universe or something? The title says Brangie so I’m going to go with that.

I think so cuze. I remeber originally IAN told us he planned to title the book “Brangelina, Beyond The Fairy Tale”….but i think he used that fairy tale thingie on another book he wrote, so apparently he opted to drop that part from this book. And i think that could be the clue to the twins also. Child Beauty Pageant…all the comments made recently about Shiloh’s manner of dress and comparisons to Suri Cruise’s dressing more girley.

I think the silver tongued devil might be a reference to AJ’s media manipulation (and/or her manipulation of Brad). And child beauty pageant – well, they (mostly AJ) certainly parade those kids around a lot. And war within refers to the current state of their relationship, and complex calculations to splitting up – time with the kids, shared assets, etc. Fantasy world drawn from fairy tales – well, that is the image they were trying to sell, the perfect couple with their big happy family, right? Who they almost never show all together because they don’t have a black SUV big enough to take them, 6 kids, and 6 nannies to McDonald’s or Toys R US, right? Oh wait, forgot the bodyguards…the twins apparently each have their own bodyguard, maybe all the kids do? Or is that bodyguard/nanny?

lol, sounds good to me TC. When Shiloh first appeared in the press dressed as a boy, and later dressed as a pirate, all Ell broke loose. Some people thought it may be deliberate, while others said a three year old knows what they want to wear. BUT, i noticed several gossip sites, and magazines made unfavorable comparisons between Shiloh and Suri Cruise do to the girly manner in which Suri dresses. I think that is what was intended with the Child Beauty Pageant. The plethora of nannies caring for the six children would double the number of warm bodies necessary to be transported to a “whole family” photo op, so they select which ones would send the best message of the day i think. And the winner of today’s Beauty Pageant is……….

I also get the feeling that California may be involved due to the mention of fault lines (San Andreas Fault is in CA). Careful calculations would have to do with where to make plantings? I just read that coca crops are grown on an incline so that the plants don’t get drowned in water.

i don’t believe for a second this means that AJ and BP are growing weed in california. maybe they are growing a business or growing their brand or growing their fairytale, but not weed. unless brad has a plant or two for personal use. There is a coke reference in there. maybe they are buying land in india or other countries upon which drug crops are being grown. just a wild guess. there was that weird trip to corsica AJ took and corsica has a long history of being heavily involved in drug trafficking. JMO. also, is damascus as iconic as ca sablanca? what about the movie “casablanca” maybe a reference to Aj losing the part in atlas shrugged?

Okay, this is what i have so far:

GUJARAI = Indo-Aryan Language. Native to Indian State of Gujarat. Was first language of Mohandas K. Gandhi, the “father of India”.

    BADSHA= Movie title.
Omar Badsha – Documentary Photographer from South Africa.

TAMARIND = A Tree native to South Africa and throughout the SUDAN (Sudanese woman pregnant by Brad?)

Lychee= Native fruit of China, Phillippines and INDIA. (most all of these refer to India in some way)
“White, sweet flesh” A love interest of Brads who is Sudanese?

KUMBAYA= Literally means, Come By Here. Lyrics to the song: someone’s 1)singing, 2)laughing, 3)crying, 4)praying, 5) sleeping. Dual personality? Bio-Polar? Needs to come by the mental hospital?

Okay, now for a rest. The PT session made me very sore today, and i have to do three sets of these exersizes twice a day….arghhhhhhh.

Yes, PattyAnn, there are so many references to growing, seeds, etc. Could there also be a reference to in vitro? Careful planning, seeds, etc. Also fall is harvest time. Could the Sudanese be due in the fall? Did Jolie use in vitro in herself or a surrogate for her twins?

It also sounds like some of Brangelina’s money could be invested in crop cultivation maybe of the legal and illegal kinds. Perhaps they have illegal crops growing amongst legal ones to disguise the illegal nature. Interesting that they have a vineyard but I don’t know if Southern France has a climate for maryjane or coca.

coke and American Bandstand = drugs and payola money for favors and favorable press.

venture capital dollars = dollars / United States. Pitt’s investor’s moneys in NO. Something funny going on with his NO project.

frought with irony = filled with feigned ignorance/deception

drives her to Kumbaya = bi polar condition with range of emotions i.e. lyrics to Kumbaya: singing, laughing, crying, praying, sleeping. Mental breakdown of Angie

booming and bonking = Loud sexual intercourse

fusion scores = fusion is when two fuse together to become one (sexual intercourse), scores is to accomplish the orgasm.

savanna hums = African Savanna Lions make a humming sound, like purring, when being affectionate

There was a picture of Angie in LA next to a low-rent UK glamour model called Danielle Lloyd in the Londonlite today. It was entitled “Stars who look crap without slap” or words to that effect. How funny. Angie is really shooting herself in the foot with this trying to dress down business I think. She doesn’t seem to understand that the only reason she is famous is because of what she looks like, nothing else. Once she’s lost that it will be all over, just as it is for Nicole Kidman and increasingly, Kylie Minogue. It’s sad but when you’ve built a career on your looks then that’s all you really are. And at least Nicole and Kylie had a modicum of talent. If I were Ange I’d put that slap back on pretty quick, but then what do I know?!

You are right I think on the reference to the lipstick and addiction, that is a direct reference to Ted Casablanca being the Iconic Casablanca and his Fakey story or it seems to me. He is after all a icon of the gossip world, the King of all queens, not many of his competitors would dispute that. Gujarati Style, well as pointed out, that is the drug capitol of SE Asia, hash, heroin, so that ties in nicely. They made mistakes that were just dumb. Sounds like it was easy to track Angelina on her facebook or yahoo account , or her contacts that were passing information to someone, maybe in drugs, business or whatever business deal going down at the time.Cocaine, and a payoff? ????venture capitol money could be Dubai, MIR Cambodia, anywhere, JP Foundation , etc. frought with irony, drives her to kumbaya (sorry ladies at FF, this is not me, this is being used in a more sarcastic way, fake moralistic term imo, her sudden flux of humanitarian missions necessary to cover up whatever is going down. She is not genuine, right down to the new colorful rug with the crease still in it and her trying to figure out how to hold a new baby, right down to her wearing the exact white goddess wrap that a real humanitarian princess wore years before her time, and posing as her to the expression for the cameras. So yes, she was driven to Kumbaya, but were they booming and bonking, not so convinced on that if it means what it sounds like it does, some say that he still wants nothing to do with her, so I am not buying that as of yet. I suppose though if you give a dog enough treats even the most rabid will quiet down.or perhaps black majik, is that the fusion scores, the savanna hums, carved masks (or fake smiles)mouthwater hospitality (fake again)wholesake green thumb mystery , and chicken scratch and modern thinking (that sounds like his MIR houses lol, which I applaud his for but they are ugly) and pumpkin seeds (happy halloween ) and banana chips or Voodoo spell again.Or are these just the snacks for the kids, no more cheetos? Bee removal in the autumn? Well if you don’t remove them all they die? right? Is that what the war within is about, how to split up who and when and how and where? or at all? Tooling around the garage, we know that is not Brad , could me Mad and Pax on the dirt Bikes making their getaway before they go down with everyone else, lol okay I am just playing now, but serious, IAN were you hiding behind a tree? Carrying your clothes in a garbage bag? or is Brad planning his getaway like that? Ah such complex calculations when we weave such webs of deceit.Living on a fault line, waiting for it to explode again at any moment with a silver tongue devil, can not be easy. must be why they keep parading the kids out like they are in a beauty pageant day after day after day, cept little Shiloh gets to play the part of a fairy tale cause mommy lives in one all the time while she is floating away on her smack and crack and daddy is puffing on his stash of hash!

What is there to figure out? They are running from something trying not to get caught, and from each other, and all the while trying to keep they venture capital money. lol

She still has a career but the tide turned against her quite a while ago in the UK. All after she gained weight after her treatment for cancer, her botox started to distort her face and her stylist Will Baker dressed her in some awful outfits. She got a lot of negative press for it. These days she has a new stylist and looks a lot better but her face still looks pretty bad. Like Nicole Kidman, the over-use of botox seems to have permanently disfigured her face. It’s such a shame.

Could the voodoo references (savanna hums…carved masks) relate to how she was said to use a witch’s spell with batdust to make Brad fall in love with her? Has she used that again on him? The “mouthwatering hospitality” to me is that big wide mouth offering to put something of Brad’s in it to me – without a doubt! Maybe the cause of Ian’s remark that they are still boinking 12 times a day? Maybe why Brad hasn’t quite made the break yet – perhaps he’s just getting his money’s worth from his favourite whore, know what I mean? The “wholesasle green thumb mystery” bit is obviously about growing and harvesting something, wholesale means they are cutting out the middle man and getting it direct from the supplier – no need for a dealer. Yes that sounds like SR is implying they are growing their own drugs. “Chicken scratch and modern thinking” – chickens scratch at the dirt – could modern thinking mean that drugs are fine? Not sure what “pumpkin seeds and banana chip” means, maybe they’re planting something else to disguise it? But pumpkin does point to Halloween, not sure about banana though. “Bee removal service” in autumn – this means pest control pure and simple. Brangie will try to remove their pests: Ian, Morton, the sources etc.

“Tooling around in the garage” – sounds like someone being a tool to me – probably Brad. No idea what the “close to a stand of trees”, “civillian clothes in a garbage bag” bit means. Suggests someone is putting on a uniform of something?

Kate you’re spot on about everything else I think. The only thing I’m not sure about is what is being referred to by “iconic as Ted C”- who or what is supposed to be iconic as Ted – not quite sure what this means. You’re right, this is about how her feverish humanitarian “efforts” are driven by either trying to cover up the fakey story or sounds like something worse in terms of growing and harvesting their own crop. Buying their own drugs field maybe? What about the land surrounding her house in Cambodia? Or the projects they have opened in the names of Maddox and Pax? Probably the former in my view, it would need to be private. Didn’t people wonder why she wanted to buy all that land surrounding her house? Maybe that’s why they bought a chateau with huge grounds in France too. Interesting.

This post is very obviously about her trip to Kenya…

East Africa has been very influenced by both the Arabs and the Indian subcontinent. Hence the references to India, East Africa and Africa. And as iconic as Casablanca (Morocco) = a city in Africa. Nairobi (Kenya)? Khartoum (The Sudan)? Both might be iconic in different ways.

Kumbaya is derived from Swahili apparently. Spoken in Kenya.
Savannah = the Serengeti savannah which runs into Kenya
Mouthwatering hospitality = they are greeted as saviors, welcomed because people believe they might be valuable. As opposed to being a bit past their shelf live elsewhere.
Wholesale Green thumb mystery= life is cheap, the women are fertile, adoption or surrogacy from/in the country?

Pumpkin seeds= a common snack in Arabic countries
Banana chips= a common snack in African countries
Sudan= a country with internal war Arabic Muslims/Christian Blacks
Chicken scratch= slang for a language written in letters one doesn’t understand. Swahili used to be written with Arabic letters, not our ABC’s. Alternately, Arabic North (Sudan), Christian South (Sudan)
Modern thinking= revolution or implanting western ideals / wants / needs into a culture who functions differently.

Refugee camp of black Christian refugees from the Sudan in Kenya = Brangelina visit

The different sides are being backed over OIL. Look up Talisman (a Canadian company) who was more or less forced to divest in the Sudan because they were “supporting the Arabic Muslims” by being there. The Chinese took over from them, and they don’t give a cr*p about what the shareholder thinks, they are there to make money and get oil. Period The pressure put on Talisman was wasted, someone has assumed that would cut the muslim rebels off from their funds.

The only playing card left for the West is the “refugee” angle (which is very real of course), but is being used in a very cynical way. Useless in my opinion, because as stated above, the Chinese don’t give a hoot, as they are in the process of economically colonizing the continent.

Child beauty pageant… were they there to choose another child to adopt? Checking out the “strays” to see which orphan would look good in their family?

While there are a lot of references to Africa in this post (the “close to a stand of trees” is also one I think, it’s that classic African image of wide open space with just the occasional copse of trees), but there are also heavy, heavy references to India so that to me must also have some significance. (”I’m back…Gujarati style…snag a seat on the palm…Badsha dried tamarind….like lychees in the park…saffron silk”). I still think the “iconic Casablanca….king of the queens” bit still refers to Ted and I think the “miscues” bit could relate to the false info they have been feeding him to publish on his site this year. I think it means “miscue” as in a false lead rather than a mistake. Ian is saying the miscues they gave Ted were dumb or maybe that Ted was dumb to report them. Facebook and yahoo must relate to fake e-mails and accounts used to try to fool Ian and Ted into believing they were genuine sources. Maybe they have compared notes and figured this all out now? What is the significance of India though other than as a country they were trying to adopt from? SR is making it very plain from word go that India is significant – why?

You could be right about the tamarind and lychee. Interesting to note that one grows in pods and the other in clusters like cherries. Both denote more than one fruit.

Facebook and yahoo, coke and American Bandstand are all very American symbols.

For information though, the tamarind is actually native to East Africa and was introduced into India from there, so that might be a bit of a misleading indication of India.

Anyways, I posted about the bits that I understood. The bits I left out were the one’s that I didn’t. Keep in mind that East Africa has a large population of people of Indian origin though. They could probably adopt an Indian child in Kenya just as easily as in India.

Canuck try to take what you know and out it with the rest. I think the first part is about Ted Casablanca being the King of Queens and being misled with info through emails and facebook, and that may relate the the Fakey blind, or it could be that Ted is the iconic Gossip columnist and Ian was mislead about some of what he posted through Angies sources through emails and her facebook accounts. One or the other. Then add to that your knowledge of Africa..how would you apply the reference to the style, is he saying he is relaxed or he is referring that being a drug capitol for SE Asia…he is saying pull up a seat and sit down..telling us he is going to tell us a story…that is a phrase used in India, grab a seat in a restaurant before you can’t…saffron silk as Tam pointed out is the name of a lipstick Addicted (is that too much of a stretch ? since it is placed right before Casablanca it seems to fit with Ted and his blind about Fakey.

How would all those things you listed fit with a drug sting, because the part about

brangie in fieles the war within -is spanish for faithful friend, and the part after that about tooling around in the garage , hanging by the trees, civilian clothes in a garbage bag all sound like either part of the sting, or someone about the bolt.

so is this last part about a faithful friend setting them up, and if so, for what, how do all those symbols you talked about fit for a sting? venture capitol funds.

Ok, this bit came from an article entitled “Little India”

    Gujarati style…snag a seat on the palm…Badsha dried tamarind….like lychees in the park…saffron silk…iconic as Casablanca…

This next bit came from an article entitled “Lost it’s cool” about social networking and how these sites need to start making money as they can’t rely on benevolent supporters to hand out cash with no returns for very long.

ghastly wallpapered pages…facebook and yahoo…coke and American Bandstand…venture capital dollars…

And from an article entitled “The War Within”, about Iraq veterans coming home and not getting the help they need…

the war within…tooling around the garage….close to a stand of trees…civilian clothes in a garbage bag

“booming and bonking” is from a song by someone called OJ Da Juice
    “fusion scores”, another musical reference

The “bee removal service in autumn” is kind of intriguing. On one hand, we could say she has bee-stung lips.

If the Casablanca reference is indeed Ted C, it’s maybe worth noting that he recently posted that despite Angie having said that they would like to quit acting and focus on humanitarian deeds, that’s not going to happen any time soon. Because THEY NEED THE MONEY. They made a combined 60+ million last year, but they need the money.

Thinking out loud with my fingers here, maybe some of this might go “click” in someone’s head.

    @Canuck:
So breaking that down in simple terms: They/she went to India because they need the money. They didn’t get the money because no one was buying what she was selling … and she/they lost their cool. War within (Brange?) insued. OJ killed his ex-wife and quite literally got away with murder. The bee (AJ, the red assed bee per earlier thread) will be “removed” in autumn. Just interpreting here, folks.

Well, they also went to India to film A Mighty Heart, which Brad produced and which bombed badly. And so yes, the public wasn’t buying what she was selling. Maybe that’s the profit angle, Brad doesn’t want to finance her career anymore through his production company since she’s been losing money in her films?

    @Canuck:
And that’s where the “venture capital dollars” comes from. “[F]rought with irony” … Jen used to own Plan B with Brad, and wasn’t she supposed to star in some of those movies, and then, ironically, AJ got the roles? And then the movies bombed. That’s pretty ironic, don’t you think?

    @Togi:
Yeah, to steal the man and the part from Jen and then bomb. Especially as it was Jen who actually procured “A Mighty Heart” for Plan B.

Not sure if “frought” is a clue or not, because it’s actually spelled “fraught”… fought, ought?

I just started trading Forex pairs and I need to be able to collect price data for the last 10 time periods (hours, days or weeks) so that I can input this information into my trading platform to give me an idea on where the price of the currency pair will move next. Can anyone tell me how to get this info into my yahoo finance page so that it updates with the movement of the currency pairs? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!! Patrick
