Replyactually, the autopsy revealed lung disease which I said back in December. The autopsy that was leaked out was also inconclusive.

ReplyYep, you were right on about the lung disease IAN, people tend to overlook that fact. When i see so many elderly people in our country walkin about with portable oxygen machines I have to feel sorry for them. COPD ( emphysema and chronic obstructive bronchitis) are two progressive lung diseases most frequently diagnosed in the U.S. caused most likely by exposure to pollution and cigarette smoking. Any disease of the lung is life threatening. It amazed me how MJ was still able to belt out his songs that thrilled the world.

ReplyI must admit i shared that thought when i first read this topic. I was thinking of the latest attack in Afghanaston in which five U.S. soldiers lost their lives, and of the “secret” nuclear plant discovered in Iran, the request for additional soldiers to be sent to Afghanaston, and I found it impossible to even consider who may or may not be a sexy political personality. But that is just my take. Sometimes something so ridiculous can lighten a moment, perhaps that was the intent with this. Just guessing here, but it did give me a giggle or two.
Yes, even today they kill the messenger.
The warnings are all over the place!

ReplyThe entire planet has gone crazy. I can remember clearly leaving my doors wide open while I went to town shopping, and not a worry in the world about doing so. When a neighbor was sick, the entire block would take prepared foods, clean the house, do the laundry..without being asked to help, watch one another’s children as they waited at the bus stop nearest one’s home. Those days are gone forever, now it’s hate, fear, anger, rudeness, insults…we’ve regressed in our evolution process i think. Sad state of affairs. The world we leave our children and grandchildren is no gift. What we do have left is HOPE. The one thing about being human that sets us apart.
It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but I’ll give it a go. Easy choice among U.S. politicians: Palin. But only when she removes the glasses. Obama’s still up there, but he’s wearing out his welcome.
Strange story you have about Bill Clinton. Sounds like one of his paramours is trying to cash in on an extortion scam.

ReplyThanks for the reminder~! I had forgotten how hot Palin is..lol. As to the glasses, that style became in demand immediately she was seen wearing them. I was getting new glasses about that time, and my optometrist was lamenting she was unable to get those frames to sell. I really can’t think of a male political figure whom I consider attractive. It’s hard to consider looks when they have their hands reaching into my pockets….lol

ReplyRe: Ted. I’m not a regular reader, but I can’t help but sometimes wonder if someone is being threatened with bodily harm or career damage. (So easy to do!) Or if someone is being paid “under the table” to say nice things. It’s only speculation on my part. Also, a strong suspicion. JMO!
Can only put out there that the Cult of Scientology reportedly uses those tactics, especially the threats of bodily harm and career interference. And they have followed through with their threats.
There have been mysterious “suicides” of a few who knew too much about Tiny Tom’s sexual preferences and who shopped around for takers to sell their stories.
A few years ago, Tommy was suing accusers regularly until the wife of one of the accusers challenged him about her alleged involvement . Tommy, or the Cult of Scientology had to pay the costs of his litigation.
That was the last of the suits.
The Cult of Scientology will continue to grow and grow in power. Now is the time for those in power to stop them. But they seem to have their hands tied behind their backs, so to speak, because the Cult is masquerading as a church and uses that to avoid tighter scrutiny of its operations. Again, jmo!

Yeah it was definitely a leak as all Ted’s Brange stories but Fakey are, maybe to counteract the negative press about their extravagant lifestyle? They are definitely savvy enough to know that the lavish jetset life of a celeb is not going to make them too popular in this economy. Well we all know they read their press on the web and it’s bound to be a pretty common theme amongst bloggers. I think that’s the reason they’ve been pictured doing “regular things like regular folks do” like going to the store so they look all down-to-earth and humble. Obviously it’s straight back to the $40 million mansion afterwards to wash off all those nasty regular people germs they’ve picked up on the way. But hey Angie is a precious divine spirit don’t you know? She can’t live just like us mere mortals!

ReplyI seriously hope Travolta leaves COS, and it does indeed have a ripple down effect. It’s nothing more or less than a private group who work as one for money and power for all, of course paying the supervisory team well included. Just calling it Church, doesn’t necessarily make it a religion. Hopefully Kelly will wake up to reality also, but somehow i doubt that very much.

For some reason I’m really finding Jay Rockefellar very appealing these days. But Bill still has it. If people were to meet him in person they would instantly get his appeal. He just exudes warmth and charisma and that is sexy.
Unfortunately for Ian’s sources the Jackson autopsy completely repudiates the idea that Jackson’s lungs were in the condition Ian was led to believe. The autopsy results were quite clear that his lungs were functioning within a normal range and played no part in his death. Just watching the clips of Jackson’s tour rehearsals showed him to be in very good shape and not suffering from a lung disability.

My first reaction is, why the Hell-O don’t these actors just come out and say what or who they are? Why do they go through these elaborate fake relationships (Vanessa Hudgens, Reese Witherspoon)? Is it really for the public…for the tween girls who love guys like Zac Efron? And, does it really hurt their career more then help it when the public finds out they’ve been duped all this time, lied to, deceived. Which is more forgiving in the public eye, to be gay and proud, or to be in the closet and pretending to have a g/f. This whole “beard” thing has gotten way out of hand IMO. Yes, in the days of Rock Hudson, I can see the need for deception, but are we (the public) really so far entrenched in the 50’s mind-set that we would shun a young actor just because he’s gay? I feel iike we’ve evolved so much further then that, and these fake relationships only make me NOT want to support the actor who sets out to deceive. Do you hear that Jake….Zac…Tom….John….???
….why can’t a young man in high school who is gay have a young gay role model boy/boy couple to look up to, the same as a young girl who looks up to boy/girl like Zac and Vanessa? Wouldn’t that young man be better prepared for life, for relationships, for a healthy way of living if he didn’t feel he had to hide, if he could be out and proud and didn’t have to “hide” because there is the perception that he is “dirty, a freak”???

Yep mooki’s right – it’s the money people that’s the problem. Stars are the commodities that Producers use to get funding from financiers for their films. Financiers don’t want to gamble their cash on a risky venture, they want the best chance of a return possible. Give them an openly gay actor, that increases their risk. Give them a seemingly hetero one, that lessens it. Give them someone with a high profile relationship – real or otherwise – who garners a lot of publicity and press and you have a bit of guaranteed advertising, however dire the product turns out to be. Your risk is lessened again. Films are products and business ventures ultimately like everything else. The money people don’t care about art, they care about $$$$ – simple!
