IUC Exclusive: Coke Lover Boy George Launches Comeback Tour
Michael Jackson could have sold out 02 Arena for probably 200 shows. Now, Boy George announced his comeback residency for 10 shows in a 400 seat theater, a far cry from the 800,000 tickets Jackson sold in a matter of hours. It all starts December 20 in London. Would you pay to see the convicted felon Boy George attempt to sing again? let us know.

The only way I’d sit through that is if I was handcuffed to a radiator! Hmmm . . . nevermind.
Replydid anybody see the latest cover of the Enquirer? “Kirstie Alley in Fat Farm”? Kind of confusing. Is she finally getting back to a non Scilon diet (is this what I think it means?)
ReplyNo, I wouldn’t pay to see Boy George, even at the height of his fame I was not a big fan. That was the dawning of MTV (back when it was all music videos) and he was a strange character who was fun to watch but very light on talent IMO.
Reply@Tamara:
ReplyHaha Tam, i second that ! I remember “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me”….and i’d say Ell Yea~! I used to laugh at his stage make-up as well. He was another Billy Ray Cirus, One Hit Wonder…..
@Pattyanne:
ReplyNow THIS would make a great survey on the streets of LA: Back in “the day,” when Boy George sang “Do you really want to hurt me?” what was your answer to that question? What do you think? I’m pretty sure most of us DID answer “yes” to that question at least a time or two. LOL.
@Pattyanne:
ReplyActually, PA, Billy Ray was a victim of his own song … Achy Breaky Heart. He is quite a talented guy and has a beautiful voice. He could never overcome his own image, unfortunately, which is too bad. I think he had a lot to offer country music … and I believe he still would if he set his mind to it. Now, of course, he’d have to overcome the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus thing. Regardless … I think he is still quite adorable.
@Togi:
ReplyAgreed Togi. I think a big problem BR has now is his image where his daughter is concerned. Her stripper pole dance at teen awards, and that infamous photo of father/daughter posing provocatively. A lot of little bad moves can add up to a tainted career. Fortunately Miley has managed to overcome it, but BR? Don’t know.
@Pattyanne:
ReplyLOL PA, I am so out of the loop when it comes to gossip! Honestly, this site is my only source. I had no idea about the pole dance or any infamous photo of BR and Miley. I had heard about her bare back pose in Vanity Fair, but not anything else. Truthfully, I think both of the Cyruses will be just fine career-wise.
@Pattyanne:
Now I have to go sleep off this darned fever and try to not cough a rib out of place! Sigh. Bed, here I come.
ReplyAlso, I’m feeling pretty darned lousy (thanks to whoever sent me the virus over the wires J/K
I would love to see the show…… just to see the Drag Queens Dress Up to the Nines ….. who cares about his singing ? It’s the girls (and guys) who are the show…. LOL
Reply@Ms Agatha:
ReplyHave you seen The Bird Cage? I LOVED that movie. Thought Neal Lane was fantastic in it. I laughed, i cried, and i felt touched. It’s in my library of repeat movies.
@Togi:
ReplyGet well Togi. I had to get antibiotics to finally kick it, as did hubby. Hope it doesn’t last long with you.
Did any of you see the autopsy report on MJ? Perfect health other than lung issues, and heck , i have asthma so that’s no biggie. What a shame he died trying to get some restful sleep. I’m beginning to believe being a weathy celebrity isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Reply@Pattyanne:
The original is a real fun movie…. St Tropez is perfect backdrop lol
@Pattyanne:
Did Ian not mention his ‘ lung problems’ ??? Like 6 months earlier ???
Reply@Ms Agatha:
ReplySo true about The Bird Cage Aggie, and yes, IAN did out MJ’s lung problems at least six months ago. Strange thing though, i don’t see anyone who doubted IAN returning to give an apology.
He tried to make a comeback here but was denied a passport. This was after the news of his holding a lover prisoner came out.
ReplyI remember him doing a duet with Stevie Wonder. Also when he sang “Karma Chameleon”.
He didn’t impress me with his talent as a singer; but he did with his entertaining.
Not long before his conviction he had a comeback tour planned in the UK. It was scrapped due to low ticket sales. Doubt this new comeback will be any more successful.
ReplyBoy George knows the truth about what really happened;that is why he still has confidence in himself.
Reply@Layla:
Replyhe actually did do the tour it was not scrapped and it was a sell out so i dont know where u got that from.oh and he still has a great voice.
