IUC Travel: JetBlue Is Best Bet In The Air

jet_blue In our continuing quest to let you know about best travel options it’s important to suggest an airline that remains first class during tough economic times. Ever since JetBlue launched its inaugural flight back in February 2000 it has been my favorite airline. As a frequent flyer I am extremely sensitive to the current state of the airline industry. While most airlines in recent years have cut back on customer service and needs, JetBlue has never stopped to raise the bar for customer satisfaction and comfort, even in the heart of a worldwide recession. JetBlue continues to tear up the airline rule book, presenting customers with service that often defies current airline standards. I have never met a more friendly and amenable airline staff and have never felt more safe in the air.
Best part of the JetBlue is that every seat is first class without the VIP price tag. All seats are in leather and have a portable tv with amazing inflight entertainment. JetBlue travels mainly in the U.S. and Bahamas but has recently added some exotic locations, including Barbados, Saint Lucia and Kington, Jamaica. Make sure you try its signature snack on board – Terra Blue Potata Chips, a much better choice than than ordinary potato chips.
Having flown JetBlue since its first year I have seen several celebrities in its terminal, including Katie Holmes, Magic Johnson and Tony Danza. Let us know your thoughts on flying today – what’s your favorite airline and why?

    Air France, Lufthansa, and Virgin Atlantic. Great service. Their stewards do not take any crap from disorderly passengers. lol esp Lufthansa.

    Has anyone heard that Angelina has started the adoption proceedings to adopt a 3 year old girl from Ethiopia, against Brads’s wishes? Is there any truth to this, or is this another rumor? Since we know they were trying to adopt since last April and he was on board for that, and they were turned down, just curious how this is playing out. She has said for a long time she wanted to adopt another child from Africa for Zahara . Not sure how to phrase that without it sounding racist because it sounded a bit that way when she said it, I as a little shocked when I heard her say she wanted to balance out the family that way. As I mentioned before, my daugter does not look at all like me, well she does, exactly, but not in coloring. When she was a toddler, each time she saw another 2 or 3 year old on the tv, commerial or whatever the situation might be, she would run up to it, and pat the screem, the face of the toddler. It was really cute. Funny, because little brother coming along did not help because he totally looks like me, completely , so I get what she is doing and thinking, although I never really thought ever in terms of race of my child when they were growning up. I still don’t. I have had more people ask me if they are adopted than you can imagine, they aren’t, but she looks like she is.

    So,I understand she feels it would be good for Zahara to have a sister to share her culture with, but then at the same time, she would in a way be replacing Shiloh. She is the 3 year old right now, and who would her play mate be, certainly not her 14 month old baby sister that no one has seen. So while the boys romp around the grounds with the dirt bikes , the girls will adjust to a new sister, and like most girls groups, even in kinegarden, threes never work. Someone always gets left out.Two become close, one feels like the tag along. I know when my kids were little I saw that at times at slumber parties. I always tried to make sure that situation did not present itself.

    Seems they have been in the news quite a bit lately. Brad at the Cliniton Inititive (didn’t that use to be her gig?) Angelina and Zahara in Ethiopia (conflicting reports on who went, some say family of 8, some say just her and Zee, and Shi, some say just she and Zee, what no pics?) she and the trio of kids at Toys R Us,(with missing teeth before their time) and Shiloh dressed like Daddy, wearing his Fedora (okay, we are convinced , she is his, lol, like a clone) , Brad moving out again, In Touch, (revolving door at that Chateau) at the hotel again it seems, this time for good. okeey, sounds good, better than admitting they have just been co-parenting for a year, and the biggest news to date, da dum some news outlest are truly starting to question, “where are the twins ane why are they hidden?” seems it is not just us having a little fun here with Voxie and Rexie, people are taking this serious.

    Where are the twins? Are there any twins? Do they look so very different from Shiloh that they can not bring them out? or are they being hidden for the big day when Angelina makes her debut as the brave working single mom of seven children, and she carries one in each arm? If she waits long enough, does adopt a daughter from Ethiopia, and managers to get one more, perhaps for Shiloh so she does not feel left out, maybe she can get Gleb back from Russia, she can be the new Octomom!! or better yet, she could give Kate a run and take the heat off her, and Brad will take the hits instead of poor old Jon!!

    Okay my rambling is over as my painkillers are beginning to work…

    Welcome back IAN!

    Only one thing I’m certain of the kids won’t be in a real school.

    I can imagine Ian on the plane, sitting next to Katie Holmes, coveting her terra blue chips, of which she’s eaten only one. Suddenly Ian exclaims, “Look Katie, its Xenu, dressed in a Batman costume!” A startled Katie spends several minutes looking out every window on the plane before returning disappointed to her chair, to find her chips gone and a dozing, cherubic-looking Ian with a lot of blue crumbs around his mouth.

    “Since we know they were trying to adopt since last April and he was on board for that, and they were turned down . . .”

    ====

    How in the world does anyone know this for a fact? What is the credible basis for this statement? Where were they “turned down”? Is this another example of “we know for a fact they were married but we have absolutely no details to back it up”?

    International adoption application packets initiated in the U.S. are, for the most part, considered current for up to 18 months, though portions of them have to be updated more frequently. That’s one of the reasons adoptive parents have to plan way ahead with the preparation for an adoption.

    Is all this shilling for hotels and planes in exchange for comps on your book tour? If so, Ian, just be straight with us and tell us. That just seems fair.

    @Liz E.:

    Some more great research to back-up your post there Liz E., it’s a credit to you! And in response to your questions I was just wondering if you could answer one yourself – what is all this to you exactly? You’ve been posting here a long old time now and always spring to the defence of Brangelina with some meticulously reseearched detail. Was just wondering what your motivation would be for doing that and whether you might care to share some detail about the woman behind the username? Was just interested as to why someone would be so keen to present the “facts” as you see them that they would do so much research as you do on all these topics. If you are merely a “Brangelina fan” or a “disinterested observer” you sure as hell have shown some commitment to the cause!

    @Keane Cyber Queen Supreme: Perhaps Liz is sick of the lies told on this site!! I know I am!! Why do you need to know about Liz E? Because she tells the truth and exposes the lies you people sprout?? What she says it not “meticulously researched” they are just the truth as known by most people. You people seem to only quote the tabloids in regards to Angelina and Brad and you continue to quote whatever is said there. Why don’t some of you try to do some research before repeating things over and over.
