IUC Exclusive: Sam’s Sis Bans Lilo from NY Fashion Week
Charlotte Ronson has finally escaped the celeb shadow of her DJ dyke sis Sam, unveiling her new fashion collection at NYC Fashion Week. 
The event went over extremely well. Charlotte informed security that if Lilo attempted to get in that they throw her sorry ass out on the pavement. A source told IUC that Charlotte seems to be the one with “the real talent in the Ronson family”. (ABC)

Sheeesh Ian, dyke? That just sounds so hostile! Actually, Mark Ronson produced Amy Winehouses Back to Black album, I think he is very talented and successful too. Not just Charlotte. This is an old story…Charlotte banned Lindsay from some gig she had in LA several months ago, so it’s not surprising that she’s banned her again.

Sure, they make your legs numb and result in seizures if worn for more than 20 minutes, but you’ll look so sassy its worth it!

ReplyPeople are aware of my thoughts concerning Ian H so I am not going to sugar coat what I think.
For months, Keane has been the most regular poster on this site. For good or for bad the reason this site has gotten half of the hits/comments are due to her. She has stated on this blog more than once, that she is a lesbian and she is not ashamed of that fact. For Ian to public call out Samantha Rosen as a “dyke” is one of the most atrocious things he has ever done. He has absolutely no shame nor does he have any sense of loyalty when it comes to his most dedicated supporters.
In my humble opinion, he has just verbally slapped Keane across the face.
Ian. You are a total and complete asshole for this.
ReplyI was wondering if Ian was getting ready to throw Keane under the proverbial bus with this latest stunt of his OR if he is trying to get rid of the remaining few from the Brangie Flock. There will not be a book, IMO, so perhaps he is kicking you all to the curb by insulting Keane on such a personal basis? SUBTLE! I don’t think Ian would ever throw Keane under the bus….but then I never thought I’d see this blog go down the way it has with the trolls, the insults, the Cat who is now back it seems…so Im wondering, and this is a question for Keane, is dyke an insulting term…to me it seemed like it is but I’m not a lesbian so I don’t know. For instance isn’t it okay for a black to call another black a N”"”"”er but a white cannot because it’s an insult, is that true? Personally, black or white, straight or gay, anytime a person calls another person by a slur is an insult in my book. I think most of the regulars must have felt a sense of slander from this post because as you notice there are only 6 comments (unheard of back in the day, yes?) and two are yours and two are mine! LOL
Simon and cShuster still has the book on for December (it did get pushed by from October) but it is now just called Brange…not Brange Behind the Fairytale, but of course this could just be the first in a long line of setbacks until the book just fades away. We just don’t know what to think about Ian right now, we are waiting and watching but not posting as you know! ha As we’ve stated many times we are not blindly following a cult leader here, we are very aware of which direction the blog is headed which is why we have pretty much disappeared. I’m sure if Ian were to post something interesting we would come back to chat, but we just aren’t all that into this blog the way it’s being run right now! Too much nastiness and not enough moderation. No one wants to go to a “home blog” and be told that someone wishes her parents would just die already…that is beyond vicious…I don’t even have a word for it!

I just thought of something…Ian has been cozying up to Perez the last few months, defended him against Will.I.Am, remember that? Well, Perez has a long standing feud with Sam Ronson, she sued him over a story he did saying the drugs in the car with Lindsay were hers. So I think the dyke reference was a nod to Sam that he doesn’t like HER particularly, not as a dig at Keane, or any other lesbian in the world! LOL Of course it goes without saying that he obviously wasn’t thinking clearly when he posted this! LOL
ReplyFor as long as I have posted here IAN has used terms like this, if anyone has paid attention or followed the blog they would have seen that. This is not the first time, so no he is does not have some ulterior motive to run Keane off. I don’t feel comfortable with those terms but IAN does, and he uses them off the cuff. In the past when he has at times I or someone else has politely said that we did not feel comfortable with it and would he mind changing it, and he did.
I am not back to post on here right now, so for those who are going to disect every word I type and pounce on it, don’t bother. I will not respond to anyone, at all. I find it interesting that everyone is who appalled all of a sudden, and Lavonda of all people , and those who have been clapping and and supporting her . I took the time last night to read some of that for the first time, gave myself a mental break after those comments by KC. I don’t know why I was surprised. A new person comes along, to seek and devide and cause more damage in 2 weeks than has been done in 2 months. Lavonda, being hailed as the big comic, who has been on here with comments of peoples dead children , including mine, dead parents or soon to be, including mine, and so on, and she is a hero, along with her trio of friends. Amazed that decency does not prevail. Comes in to seek and devide, nothing to do with her, to cause trouble, and suddenly look where we are.
For those who believe IAN is trying to shut the board down, he is not. He has if on his book jackets, he has it mentioned in his book, he mentions it in his interviews. It is in articles about him even a late a few weeks ago. For those who feel he is trying to get rid of the few loyal followers , he is not. He would not, and is not trying to “dump” us, nor is he ‘throwing anyone under the bus” .
What we write out here, and what we know to be the truth are two different things. IAN is not deliberately trying to run Keane off. He adores Keane as he has said many times. He also has said that he would never do anything to disrepect his posters here.
I may get thrown off at times by trolls that upset me at a vulnerable time with terminal parent, but I know what the truth is.
For those of you at FF who continue to speculate that the board is being moderated , it is not. IAN is busy. He does not have time right now to deal with ever comment that comes across. That should be evident by now. If you are having a problem posting perhaps you are using a different email that what you used before, no one is banned, and as we can all see not even Keanes Cat. It does not take much to use a proxy or got to another computer.
Last, leave me alone. I am here , when I choose to be, to support this site and IAN, and to chat with those who I are here for the same reason. I am not here for your pleasure of the day, to release your frustrations upon. I do not really care at this point what anyone thinks, I have tried for months to make peace between the boards, to no avail Apologies seem to mean nothing to some. So time to move on. Do your thing, we will do ours.

I am going to repeat what SZ (I know she is not well liked here) said about this because it rings true. She and I agree that we have never heard any man, either gay or straight, use the terminology of “dyke” in a positive manner. I don’t think that he intentionally did that but I am appalled by his lack of sensitivity especially since one of his main supporters is a lesbian. He could has said Lesbian DJ and been just as effective in this little thread. I will never condone the use of any word or phrase that reinforces stereotyping be it gender, sexual, religious, or nationality-based. I am not angry with him but I keep thinking it is 2009. These words have no business in today’s lexicon.
He is Jewish, right? He wouldn’t be too appreciative if we started using some of the offensive words I have heard to descibe Jews, I would think.
Frankly, conspiracies aside, I am truly wondering what has happened to this place where he is concerned. I don’t believe that he has written a quarter of these threads and think that someone else has been “behind the helm” since around early June. Mind you, it is just a feeling I have for the way or tone in which it is written. Before, it felt more like a personal set of threads, like he was letting you in on some new secret. For the last few months, it is almost so cold, it is impersonal. The writing is not the same either in tone or texture. Perhaps he needs to find a new assistant?
The threads set the tone and reflects on the posters that come in to comment. In the long run, he is still held responsible for what is printed in his topics that start these discussions.
I find it odd that after Kate made her statement about no moderators being on board, commentors posts have shown up as if by magic 24 hours later?? Glitch, Please! LOL! I have never had a problem posting here but know more than a few others who have tried and failed.
Anyway, sorry for typing a bible at you.

I’m a Modern Day “hippie” of sorts. LOL Different issues, different turfs, but still taking a stand. By the way … I agree that Ian can (and does) use socially unacceptable terminology at times. Posters here call him on that … as he is now being called on his use of the term “dyke.” I find it offensive. I find ANY derogatory terminology offensive. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

Just wanted to quickly point out that SZ is not disliked here to my knowledge. Well perhaps by one or two people for what she has said on other sites in relation to a very personal matter. I have no real opinion (although I know of her opinions of, and what she has written about, me!). I don’t think anyone else really has a strong opinion one way or the other. She’s not Keane’s Cat or Lavatory after all!
Oh and just one other thing, I, like you and Togi, have always been a bit of a hippie (I am currently knitting my own yoghurt!). ReplyJust to throw my two cents in with this – as it seems to all be about me as usual even though Ian was talking about Sam Ronson for effs sake and I haven’t even bothered to comment until now(!) – as Kate says, Ian has used this sort of terminology before and we have discussed it before so this wasn’t a dig at me. Ian uses words like this for shock value I would say like the likes of Howard Stern. I’m not really a fan of using anyone’s sexuality, race, gender religious beliefs or whatever as an epithet to describe them to be honest, but unfortunately it is still par for the course across the whole of human society and most certainly the media. And yes I do find the word “dyke” offensive when it is applied to me as I am of the feminine or “lipstick” (eyeroll) variety to tell the truth. But I am also guilty of looking at very butch women and thinking they look quite “dykey”. I am actually not a fan of butch lesbians and absolutely hate gay bars and the gay “scene”. I hang out with a mixture of gay, straight and bi people and don’t identify with the gay “community” particularly at all. Just because someone else happens to be attracted to members of the same sex doesn’t mean they will necessary have anything in common with me! That being said I am militant about gay rights and about how gay relationships should be treated as equally valid and “normal” as striaght ones. Same rights to marry, have children and just not have a great big bloody fuss made about the fact that they happen not to be straight for three. So with regard to this, I am a bit uncomfortable with it as I have been with previous uses of such words, but it is not really keeping me up at night to be honest. I have way, way bigger fish to fry at the moment. Anyway, as Mrs Merton would say, let’s all have a heated debate!

I feel bad that so many regulars have bashed you about the lack of Brangie news, the rash of nasty posts etc. I still visit and will continue to talk to posters here. I know that when you can, you will return. Lately, I go to female first to amuse myself but obviously still return here to check in. The nasty posts dont bother me, I just try to ignore them and wish others would also but that doesnt seem to be the opinion of several others here as they feel posters should be banned – I believe in the First Amendment and that anyone can say just about anything in this country unless it potentially causes physical harm (yelling fire in a theatre for example) which is not going to happen by words posted at this site. Anyway, hope you are enjoying your traveling Ian and can get back to us soon. Watching her is like reading a psychoanalytic script of someone of the verge of a breakdown. She is one complex and contradicting woman, no argument there. I do believe that IAN’s book will explode the myth that she is the humanitarian and activist that she tries to portray. I do hope he probes into what the human factors are that made her the way she is, surely it is not all by her design, even though many hail her as a brilliant PR strategist. I believe that Esquire will indeed have egg on their face, after all that was a huge stretch , and a insult to all who hold their faith in God dear.

Oh , I forgot about that, that happens sometimes. There have been times when I can only see a few post on the page, like 20, and I can post, but I will not see my post. If I sign in , where I registerd before, (easier for me anyway) then I can see the posts and mine. I am usually too lazy to do it because I have never changed my password to something I can remember, so I have to go to my email and get it, which is a hassle, so most of the time I don’t sign in, but yeah it does fix the problem. There are 16 pages of registered users. Most I have never heard of. lurkers.

Imagine living like that , in a bubble, with unseen adversaries everywhere, never knowing if they are a few steps ahead of you. That is enough to make one drink. Then add in a tyrant, like her, she is like a deadly virus, that you can not get rid of, Brad can barely open his mouth and she smacks it shut with another cover award shot from a tabloid announcing what a drunk he is, how dysfunctional he is, what a terrible father he has become. How is he to overcome this force, he never dreamed that the woman that he thought was “not like that, she is so decent, such a good mother” would ever turn out to be his most powerful opponent. Just my opinon, of course.

ReplyI think how DJ died , with a pill in his mouth stll and a baggie in his lap sums it up, regardless of what I think of any of these people it is truly heartbreaking each time one of them sucumbs to death through drugs, alcohol. So young, so much to live for At the same time for the ones who are in pain, and are taking the presecriptions to stop it, one can understand that they may not see how just popping one more may be the be all end all. Help them all, and with all sincere regard, I do hope that Angelina is not going to be one of them. Bless the little children. It is difficult to grasp how Brad can not do something to put an end to end. The way he goes on about his greatest fear at night being that something will happen to one of the children or to Angie, you would think he would try a tough love approach, somehow someway. To give her the full benefit of doubt, if Ted C is completely wrong, and it is not drugs, then it is something that still places her at risk. Karen Carpenter died looking better than she does. jmo

Very true Kate. No matter what it is that is causing her to waste away, it is still a mortal threat to her person. Her brother James is the closest to her, i don’t understand why he’s not stepping in to help save his sister. Do you remember a year or more ago now, when Jame’ stepped forward and said ,”I am afraid my sister may die” ? Everyone then assumed she was HIV or full blown AIDS because of the way she looked. She now looks 100 times worse imo. Maybe that’s what Brad was referring to when he said, “One day it may all be gone”. ReplyI heard on CNN evening news last night that the federal gov. is enacting new methods of tracking all serious drugs prescribed to a pt. now….saying it’s due to both MJ and ANS drug related deaths. About Time~!! They say in the paps that Elizabeth Taylor has so many doctors prescribing to her, that no one knows for certain how much of what she is on….Remember when Britney was having her melt down? ReplyHello one and all, good to see a bit of calm has resumed today. And good to see all of our lovely posters have not been recruited to other sites as Kate said on the other thread! Just to throw a little line or two out there in that context just wanted to say that we are all grateful to Ian for banning the trolls. We have had a lot of trolls in the very brief history of this blog and they are all so similar that they tend to blend into one another for me. I have to say I have never given a minute’s thought to who they are or why they are to be perfectly honest. They bore me to death to tell the truth. They come, they get banned, they come back, they get banned, new ones arrive, they get banned and so on ad infinitum. It is pretty dull these days. Anyway, just wanted to comment that I am pleased that everyone I consider to be a friend is still here and posting and I’m sure I speak for us all when I say we extend a warm welcome to other friendly posters old and new!
And my thought for the day on Brange is: I feel like they are both destroying themselves because they know they have comitted an irrevocable act which is impossible for them to conceal or explain away and it is merely a matter of spinning out their celebrity for as long as they can before it sounds the death knell for their career (and possibly has more serious, legal consequences). They have used the media spotlight to elevate themselves to their status on top of the world but that very same spotlight will ultimately guarantee their destuction. They know it and they know that an increasing number of us know it too. You just can’t hide things from the media glare that you have fought so hard to display. Possibly one of the most stupid decisions in celebrity history I would say, even more so than Michael Jackson paying off those who accused him of child abuse. Which is why I think neither of them care much about what happens to them any more, they are happy to destroy themselves through whatever is their own personal poison because what is the alternative after all? They know their fate is spelled out for them, predetermined by their own irremediable actions. What these people have done to themselves is truly mindblowing to me and I genuinely think the revelation of it will be a seismic quake big enough to shake the world!
ReplyKeane, have you seen the photo ops of the happy family out shopping, AJ in that long black mourning style (hoochie mamma version of mourning .. wink!) and Bradley wearing those knee knocker shorts with the black sox? There is one shot, one of the gossip sites has it, forgot which, showing him clearly from the back. Behind his right knee is a new tat, but that’s not it….the VEINS in the calf of his Right leg muscle are HUGE! Every bit as large as AJ’s…..could it be H that is spinning him out of control as well? Sure rori, i posted it above your post. It’s got a lot of interesting stuff you can search through, but make up your own mind as to what you believe or not. I understand what you are saying, my experience was a “projection” while i was extremely ill, someone who loves me dearly projected themselves to me…to be honest, it scared the crapola out of me at the time.. ReplyGotta scoot for a few minutes, the homeless kittys on our back deck are knocking on the door asking for food….lol We buy 20 lbs of cat food a week to feed these poor things. Their owners lost their home in the mortgage fisaco, and moved out in the dead of night leaving behind their six cats, which we , of course, took in. They didn’t ask to be abandoned, and they are fun to watch lol
ReplyIt now seems MJ left quite a healthy estate. His mother , who has custody of his three children, will get $28,800/month and his three children will get $60,000/month. I for one am glad that MJ’s family is well taken care of by their father/son. Katherine has split from Joe, and part of the legal settlement with mom Debbi Rowe ($4 mil i hear) was that Joe Jackson must keep far away from the home where Katherine and the kids are living. Very wise. Joe is a fine piece of work imo..

Now, Not So Much: This once endearing moustache has expanded into an unwieldy mess of whiskers, taking over Pitt’s kissable lips — they’re tickled; we’re not — now bearing unnerving resemblance to our high-school chemistry teacher (and that dude way crazy). We don’t mind that Brad’s goatee is gray, but we are concerned that the moustache it’s attached to is not. It’s kind of orange-y. Oh, and by the by, only Robert Downey Jr. is allowed to have a goatee.

ReplyHow funny. I had six kids in my family and we never had to travel by CARAVAN! Had just one station wagon and we all, mom, dad and even a friend or two fit in it quite comfortably. Of course that was prior to seat belts, but we all made it out alive just the same! LOL. And while on the subject of six kids … I’d wager to bet there are LOADS of folks out there who come from large families, who traveled as families and did LOTS together as families. I have no idea what’s up with all two kids here, two kids there bit.

Obviously you don`t think too highly about tabloid writers otherwise you would realise that yes they are VERY much capable of making up their own stories – they don`t need Jolie to write them for them! Guess what I think gossip writers are the lowest of the low – pretty much the most disgusting profession on earth – but I think that they have absolutely NO problems of spinning their stories and filling the pages on a weekly basis!
