IUC TRAVEL: Discover A Top Notch Resort Hotel Minutes From Center of Paris

Posted on September 7th, 2009 by HisHighness in IUC: Travel

Some hotels are much more than simply a place to rest your head – they are havens for the glamorous, the successful and inspiration for anyone in midst of travel.  The Pullman Hotel and Resort in Paris district 15 is a large, opulent hotel that is an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of central Paris and is within minutes from the city.  In other words, it’s like visiting club med but having a big metropolis like Paris within walking distance.  The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool and health club, wifi throughout, amazing restaurants with incredible views of the entire city and a reputation for first class service.  If it’s authentic French joie de vivre you’re after on your vacation then this is an ideal spot.  A particular stand out here is the rooftop patio with its lush lounge chairs – a suitably romantic and relaxing escape against the backdrop of stunning Paris.  And the best of all is that Pullman is highly affordable.  In fact it’s cheaper than most less appealing hotels in middle of the city.  This hotel is not to be missed!

I want to go. Sounds like an amazing place. I need to find something in Paris that is more relaxing. Last time I was there it was too stressful. This sounds like the perfect place.

    @Vittoria:

I see five stars up there.

I heard that Mickey Brett was paid off. No book happening there. So that leaves Andrew Morton, and IAN (we hope) and wasn’t there suppose to be one of her friends writing a book that was going to come out early 2010? The one who slept with both her and Brad? I doubt Andrew Morton will have much to say that will be earth shattering, his book on Tom Cruise was really watered down. Libel laws I guess.

So, the only book that I really see puting anything out there is the one that IAN is writing, but since it has been pushed back to December, and he has changed the title, and he has not so much as mentioned their name in almost 4 months now, (seems to be a dirty word these days) we are (I think I can collectively say we) are starting to feel that may not be a book here either. Not sure really what to believe at this point. Never really had an experience like this before where there was an elephant this big in the room.

Starting to wonder of the Men in Black did not sneak in and carry the real IAN off to another planet somewhere and the one we have is his stepford.

Stranger things have happened. I hear that there is a secret cult that does that sort of thing, they get rid of people and replace them with their doubles.

Say it ain’t so? Keane asked this a few weeks back, no answer, guess it does not hurt to ask again?

IAN, is that really your love?

Have you read that theory about River Phoenix being murdered and it was his double, forgotten what they call that person, but they maintain that Brad has one, and that the same Brad we see is not the same Brad, lol.

Anyway, Twilight Zone for sure, but that is certainly what if feels like around here now. To me at least. When I think back to how it was back in Feb. through May, what a difference, even in personality ,or so it seems.

I guess people move on, yes?

LMAO It’s all really strange. Maybe there will be a book and he’ll come out crowing: I told you so! LOL But, I think if there is a book coming out it will NOT have any exclusives, just rehash of all the stuff that’s been out there and being gossiped about for years now. Nothing new is my opinion.

Not sure what happened there, but I was going to say, now that does not seem to satisfy people, they want him to be gay . When we first did the Kickapoo riddle we were thinking that it may have those overtones, but because of the spanish quotaion at the end, which seemed to warn that he could not run from his wrong doings forever I think we ended up leaning more to the fact he got a bit too drunk and did something he forever regretter.

There was a Daddy Dearest Letter at FF that also said that Brad was not -all that glitters is not gold -or implied that the Golden Boy was not all that golden, so I found it interesting. I wondered if perhaps the person that wrote that letter may know anything about what happened that night in Kickapoo.

I too wonder if we will ever get the full story on any of the stories that were introduced here. There were so many, and while it is normal in the process of investigation to have many different lines of stories going we wee all hoping that some of them would come to completion.

It would be nice if IAN would return and give us an idea, but like you and others I think that is probably not going to happen. Can’t blame him really, I am sure what he is doing is more profitable and more important than this blog.

    Business is business. Onward .

Kate I love your loyalty, but you know Ian has abandoned this blog, and if Simon and Schuster are anything to go by it appears he might be abandonding his book too, or at least the original intent of the book that is. Beyond the Fairytale has been dropped already. My prediction is the book will be full of fluff that can be found by anyone willing to search the internet. Ian, if you are reading this I am sorry but that’s how most of us feel, do you even realize the sharp decline in hits on your blog, I hate to say it but we get more hits on Gull Dang (and its not even open to the public) in one hour than you do here in 2 or 3 days! Does that say anything at all to you? Or is it only saying something to us?? There! I’ve said it: I’ve mentioned the secret society (HA) that is Gull Dang. Now we don’t have to tiptoe around the elephant in the room!! Ian – surely you must understand that since you lured people to this blog in the interviews and book for MJ that people are coming here and saying WTF?? If they only could have seen the activity in Feb-May then they might have been impressed, but not now. I don’t care if I get blocked, I don’t come here often enough to care anymore.

So, all of the hoopla about brangie was to start promoting your book about them. Are you abandoning that project as well? It really makes him lack credibility. Like the Sudanese model …stuff like that. most people came here for the Brad/Angelina stories: we didn’t necessarily believe all he was saying, but it was a fun read. I couldn’t give a rat’s ass if they stay together or break up…i just follow along to get me through the day at work LOL, but i find it hilarious how people at FF roast Keane , then do the same to anyone who disagrees with them over there (mind you i’m not defending keane – i think she’s an antagonist most of the time). But maybe that should be the real story – how anonymity on the internet allows people to say things they wouldnt in real life LOL

Well, you know, the only thing wrong with FF that I can see is that one thread IUC Hostility, that exists solely to bash IUC and/or the posters here. They come here to lurk then go back to talk about it. I can say that we don’t exist here at IUC strictly to bash FF. There are a lot of really funny and smart women on FF that are really entertaining when not sitting there bashing US!! It would be like Ian posting an FF Hostility Thread that had something like 35,000 comments all with one purpose: to berate, belittle and trash anyone on their site. Thats the only thing I dont like about FF. Firefly lurks here just to get fodder for his/her emoticon comments (which are quite humorous by the way) but such a collossal waste of time from someone who is so obviously talented.

Yeah I’m not in too sweet a mood today to be honest!

So, seeing as Ian is totally MIA as far as Brange is concerned these days, maybe his good friends SR or Ms Nine Cent might like to throw us a bone on this subject? Perhaps they could give us a hint about whether the deal was for a postponement or a complete cancellation a la Britney? If it’s the latter then I think the decent thing to do would be to let your date(s) know. Much more gentlemanly than allowing them to keep on calling you without ever intending to answer the phone hey?

I keep thinking about that post from someone a while back questioning your sense of “social responsibility” with reference to the Britney book and asking to discuss it with you on or off the record. Ian, all I can say is, for someone who gets such great stories – and believe me I know how hard that is to do – it would be a great shame if your journalistic talent wasn’t matched by your ethics. I know how hard it is to choose the ethical path over the more financially prudent one, but you have to decide whether your conscience can live with the huge fraud being perpetrated on the masses for the gain of a small handful of already very wealthy people. Can you rest easy at night with this on your conscience? I ask you this because I am asking myself the same question right now on a completely dffferent subject matter. I think I know which way I’m going to go, was just wondering about you?

    @keane cyber queen supreme:
Personally , I don’t really care all that much about the book. I have read several books IAN has written, I am familiar with the way he writes. After following the blog for so long, and watching also his films, participating in the chats it is pretty clear to me what the book will be, if and when it does come out. I will buy it, and I would like to read it, but I am not holding out that there will be anything so explosive that we will all be shocked. If so, all the better. I do hope someone will expose these two fakes. What was more interesting was was going on at the moment, the behind the scenes, We see one thing, and hearing the scoop on what was happening (yes I know maybe it was not true) was interesting and speculative fun.

I came to this blog “because” I was already a fan of IAN’s which is why this is so very disheartening to me. I know how sincere he can be, I know what decent guy he can be because I have been his fan. I believe he is talented, it has been a long time, but I remember him promoting his music years ago. Very versatile guy. I think he can be very funny, sneaky, bright, and at the same time he has a kind of kind gentle quality about him that I think some of you may have seen in some of his interviews this go round. So many people write him off as a tabloid writer, which I think is grossly unfair. When someone spends five years on a book, and really put their time and emotions into it to find the truth, that is hardly tabloid. He has done the several times. Do I sound like I am being the supreme defender, not really, just fair. What is ,is.

This blog was so much fun when we all started here, and for many back in January of this year because it was interactive. Not just with each other but with IAN also. While he has been busy with writing, editing, filming and promoting his books, it is hard for some of us , myself included to grasp how he can just not take five minutes out of his day to do that. It is what built the blog up. Not just the Brange stories, because with just those, it is like any other blog. It was the interaction, people getting to know and like IAN that made it different. I think he underestimated that. You can not do that for months, and say “story developing” much less story is going to be a “blockbuster” then just vanish. Not another word.
I think rather than a bride on their honeymoon, most here felt more like Jen, when Brad threw her “under the bus”. That is the best way I can describe it. I say that because it is not just leaving people high and dry, but also the feeling of betrayed to a point. Patience went a long long long way. Loyalty also.

I have been accused so many times of working for IAN or being him, I have taken that as a compliment. Loyal, yes, and I have explained why. I think many here are still in a sense loyal to IAN, but it is very very hard to shake that feeling when the door is slammed in your face “time and time again”. It is compounded when you have other sites, not just FF, laughing at you because you support this site, and the man that runs. At some point you have to step back and look at things and ask yourself , “why?”.. and that is what everyone is doing now.

Yes , people have seen this for a long long time. Yes we have chosen to ignore it. No we are not sheep being led over the cliff. Everyone laughs at us because they think we do not undersand the character of “Sugar Ray”. On the contrary. It is because we do, it is because we have committment and respect, or we did I guess I should say.

IAN has put up hotels and rail always on his blog, as long as I can remember, each time he goes on a trip, I assume he gets comp rooms, rail with Via. Barter system possibly. I think it is just bad timing that he chose to put this up, while at the same time he pushed the book back, and did not let anyone know, no explanation, no comments. I am sure he does not feel he has to do that, and therein lies the miscommunication. Because of the loyalty that has been displayed here by a handful, and the dogging we have all taken for it. I suppose on some level we feel he should have said something. After all, he did do updates on his other books when there were changes. I remember with Guy L. everytime there was a snag, IAN wrote an article about it. Why, because I suspect it was important to “him” and he wanted to let ‘whoever” know that he was not backing down. So what is different with Brangelina? We don’t know. I bet I have asked IAN at least ten different times something in regards to this, by email, only to be completely ignored, which is terribly offensive. Etiquette in email , never ignore, even if you say, how are u, sorry can’t chat now, or can’t discuss. Please don’t email me again. Something. All a person has to do is say that ONE time, and it ends. Normal people do not have to be hit over the head with a brick. We can respect his privacy, if we know that is what it is. This place is not a hotel, can’t hang a do not disturb on the door, but you can certainly tell someone that.

I have seen Deb say, and I think I agree with her, that IAN never wanted this blog to be about Brange and it quickly became about them, and he probably did not know how to change it. Well he found a way. Others have suggested he let it go so that all of us would leave and he could start over completely, makes sense, after all he is pimping it on his book jackets, in his book he talks about it, and in his interviews, so he is not closing down the blog. Just hoping the last handful of us will all go away perhaps? Yet, at times he will post an appreciation, why? What is the point of that?

All the fighting, the name calling, the hurt feelings between the two boards, has it been worth it? No I don’t think it has. If even one person has left here feeling less of a person then it has not, not for me. I think I can speak for Keane and myself when I say we never felt we lorded over this blog, ever. We felt extremely loyal to IAN and wanted to help him any way that we could, and that is all it ever was. To all those who were hurt, I am deeply sorry, you have my most sincere apologies. I am glad you all have found a happy home elsewhere. Am I leaving IUC, no. I will still chat and post here until IAN emails me and tells me to get lost. I still have hopes that in the future the blog will return to being interactive and fun, but I really doubt that. I know this is his last celebrity book. Then he plans to write a play I believe. So time will tell. Til then, my best wishes to all. Cheers, Kate

Hey Cuze. Yes I believe he does as well. That was not my intent. I was speaking more on a personal note, not on his abilities, I have complete faith in that. I don’t underestimate at all that he does, or that he is keeping it close to his chest so to speak.

I like IUC, the format, etc, the people here. I liked the iteraction with all the players, the writers. That is what makes this different than just another message board. There is a message board here. We could have all gone in there is that is what we wanted to do, no one wants to do that, to have thread after thread. The interaction comes from being in the blog format. For some that does not work as well. Others like the message board better, they feel they have more to chose from. I don’t really care that there are not 1000 posts a day either. It makes the topic to long to load. That is probably nice for IAN, although I don’t think he set up this blog as a source of income, but rather just feedback.

Many journalist today are using twitter for the same reason. Blog owners too.If they can not come up with a topic or are not sure how to expand on it they get on twitter and discuss it with a group and then off they go, that is pretty the norm today. That is what seems to work. People like interacting with the person they are following. News people are doing it as well. I have heard a few say they like being in touch with their core audience. We thought IAN did as well. I still think he does, but for whatever reason he is not around. I don’t like the way he has chosen to handle this. That is what I was blogging about earlier. The way it has been handled, this is my home, I will not jump ship just because I am unhappy. Where is the loyalty in that? Where is the faith? I am a stronger person than that, and I choose to give the people I believe in a better shake than that. Warts and all.

Brad Pitt Moves Out of Bedroom

Atlanta, GA 9/08/2009 06:53 PM GMT (TransWorldNews)

Brad Pitt has allegedly moved out of the bedroom he shared with partner Angelina Jolie. Sources say the couple now sleeps in separate quarters of their French chateau. Their constant arguing is what led to the alleged sleeping arrangements.

“Brad moved out of their bedroom. But they are not only sleeping in separate beds, they are sleeping on opposite ends of the property,” an insider says.

The source says the couple hasn’t officially split for the sake of their 6 children. “The only reason they are still together is because they don’t want to upset their children,” the insider adds.

Neither Jolie nor Pitt has commented.

Looks like AJ is warming up the petri dish again… Entertainment Tonight just reported awhile ago that AJ has been taking pre-natal vitamins and has been trying for baby #7 for the past two months….she must have frozen a ton of Braddy’s spermies considering he wouldn’t touch her with a ten foot pole (hehehe) these days. Sorry AJ, not falling for this phony story!@Kate:

Rumour is she also had an abortion at age TWELVE….either Jamie’s or her mother’s b/f….AJ admits to being sexually active in KINDERGARTEN for pitty’s sake….is she sick. or is she sick?….ewwwwww

Pattyanne, simply put, she is sick! This woman has always been beyond strange. Being with BP and manipulating her image to becoming an ” Earth mother ” have not changed who and what she really is. But I feel she and BP are stuck with eachother. Who else would want them? LOL. Hope you have a great day.

Thanks MickeyB…i think we pretty much agree that AJ is a mental mess. It’s horrible that no one has put the brakes on her child collecting considering her history. Rumours are that Brad is more into H than his bong now that he’s been with her so long. Note on those photos of them shopping in France recently with him wearing shorts….the veins on his legs are as bad as AJ’s veins now….sure sign something is not kosher.@MickeyB:

There seems to be several magazines reporting on this seventh pregnancy…supposedly she is three months gone. How sad, and pitiful. We all need to keep that collection of babes in our nightly prayers…it’s an outrage to bring more into the mess they call family. They are more like a pack of wild animals than children according to reports…I hope AJ is off her methadone for this one…. :-( Oh! That’s right! She uses surrigates!

    Hi Pattyanne
These stories were in Aussie mags a couple of weeks ago but this week the same mags stated that she has told friends ( what a joke – she doesnt have friends! only the paps she pays lol ) that she isnt pregnant. I would seriously love to know who her friends are, I have never seen any evidence of her having anyone other than her creepy brother, Marianne Pearl ( only whilst filming and promoting A Mighty Waste Of Time oops sorry Heart – the organ Whoralina is missing ) and of course the wrinkly woman who helps with her adoptions or as I like to call them Hostile takeovers! LOL x x

story about sadistic lil’ David Miscavige via ex Scilon Marc Headley (who’s suing the cult and might win his case):
“This is a story from the Int Base for all the guys out in ANZO. This will have slightly more significance for all of the ex’s out there as it concerns some of the “royalty” of ANZO old timer scientology families. I will try and keep it mainly about the ANZO guys that were at the Int Base.

So there are a few families that have been around forever in ANZO. Children and grand children of at least two of those families ended up at the Int Base. The two families I am talking about were the Conleys and the Allens. From the Conley side, you would have Gary Conley, Gary was the son of Jim and Kaye Conley. Kaye’s sister Cherie was Kate Ceberano’s mum. For all of those outside on ANZO, Kate Ceberano is the aussie superstar recording artist that has had several platinum record albums and regularly shills for the Scilons every chance she gets. Okay so Jim and Kaye were in PR in LA. They would routinely get put on high profile PR jobs such as representing for Scilons at the 1988 LA Olympics all the way to taking care of LRH’s old house in Arizona. Jim and Kaye were both in the Sea Org. Their son Gary, also in the Sea Org would reach the highlight of his Sea Org career in the late 1980’s when he was the Inspector General MAA in RTC. He worked directly for COB and the IG – Marty Rathbun. He was basically the highest MAA post on the planet.

As for the Allens, there was Lisa and Kate. They were the twin daughters of Elaine Allen. Elaine Allen had been in ANZO from day one and was supposedly the first registered Scientology minister in Victoria as of May 1977. Both Lisa and Kate had their ups and downs and were regularly in trouble at the Int Base. In the early 1990’s they would both end up busted off of their posts in CMO Int and end up posted in Golden Era Productions, the so called bottom feeders of the Int Base. Kate would end up being an electrician and Lisa was posted as the Director’s Assistant in the Cine Division were they produced all of the videos and films for Scilonville. Their brother Shaun, worked in OSA in LA. I think there was another sister, but I am not sure where she worked.

Kate was married to this very cool Swedish guy in the Estates Division named Matz Markowitz. Matz was an engineer and could probably fix anything. Matz was never going to be anything but an engineer and was a good worker. Kate looked out of place in Electrical and had hopes of getting out of there one day.

Gary Conley would also take a fall – literally. After being busted out of RTC and posted in the Estates Division, the bottom feeders of Golden Era, Gary was working high up in the ceiling of the garage building cleaning the rafters. Without a safety cable or any kind of harness, you can guess what happened. He slipped and fell to the hard concrete below and shattered both ankles and his feet in several different places. Doctors told him he would be lucky to ever walk again, and after several years in a wheelchair, he actually did, with an odd limp, but he did end up walking.

Gary ended up being posted in the E-Meter manufacturing building I think mainly due to the fact that sitting down was the only kind of work he could do now. The only light in Gary’s life at this point seemed to be that Kate Ceberano was his cousin. He had her music cassettes and would force us to listen to them every chance he got. He would constantly have to remind people who the hell it was as she was popular in ANZO but had never been heard of in the states.

While Kate was slaving away in Estates and Gary was rolling around the Int Base, Lisa had bigger and better plans. She used her connections on the Director’s Assistant post to get in good with COB RTC and slowly rose up the ranks until 10 years later, she would become the Commanding Officer Gold. Lisa would regularly tell stories about her mum back in ANZO and how she was the Commanding Officer at the Advanced Org there. Her mum, Elaine Allen had met LRH in 1973 aboard the Apollo and was an old school Scilon and had been working in Scilonville well before David Miscavige was knee high to a grasshopper. Her being the CO AOSH ANZO was no surprise and as far as anyone was concerned, she would hold that post until she died.

Lisa was married to a guy named Paul Schroer. Paul was in RTC during the time where Vicki Aznaran was COB RTC and therefore when Dave Miscavige showed up, he promptly busted everyone out of RTC that worked with Vicki. Paul was one of these people. Because Paul had this past stigma stuck to him, no matter what he did, no matter where he was posted, every time he ended up doing anything that Dave Miscavige was involved in, he would end up getting in trouble.

The situation with Paul came to a head in the early 2000’s. Paul was the Director of A/V Manufacturing and Lisa was the CO Gold. David Miscavige had this big plan to re-release all LRH lectures on CDs was going down to A/V manufacturing just about every day to check on where things stood. Paul had no chance. David Miscavige was going off on a trip somewhere and had a message for Lisa. David Miscavige told Lisa, “You get rid of him or I am not coming back!” She had to take Paul off post and send him to the PAC RPF, or COB RTC was not going to come back to the Int Base. It was unclear to some if David Miscavige realized that Lisa was married to Paul. We knew that he knew. This was another one of his sick twisted ways he did shit. Get the Wife to RPF her own husband because David Miscavige was sick of him and had been sick of him since the day he became COB RTC just because Paul had worked for his nemesis, Vicki Aznaran. Paul did end up going to the RPF in PAC and Lisa divorced him so that she could keep in good graces with David Miscavige.

As if that was not enough, one day Lisa was told by someone in CMO INT that her mom had been flown to LA from ANZO for an ethics handling. When Lisa inquired further about this, she found that her mum was being routed into the RPF for Out-2D! Now while I have no doubt that older people can still get it on as good as the next person, her mum was in her 60’s. She was the CO of a Sea Org installation and that last thing that a 60 year old woman that works over a hundred hours a week is going to have time for is to get some nookie on the side. Lisa could not believe this. It was one of those things that just did not make any sense. Lisa was going to LA for something else and arranged to meet her mum down in PAC.

“CO GOLD here to see Elaine Allen,” Lisa said into the security console at the Horseshoe in PAC. Dressed in the RPF black shorts and T-shirt her mum came out of the Big Blue building escorted by another RPF’er. They had not seen each other in many years and now the circumstance were not at all good. They both cried and hugged. Then Lisa asked what the hell was going on. Elaine proceeded to tell her about some stupid Ethics Mission that had been sent from Management to yell at everybody in the AO and get the stats up. Typical of Scilon upper management that they send out some green weenies from LA that had never worked in an org before, only been in the Sea Org a few years, and only knew what David Miscavige’s “ Ideal Orgs” should be like and anything short of that was a criminal activity that should be destroyed. Elaine was none too impressed by these guys and they saw her as an enemy. When the stats for the AO were down, they piled into a room and put Elaine on the meter. Gang Bang Sec Check. After hours of yelling at Elaine and accusing her of having sex with a public Scilon, Elaine joked, “Yeah that’s it, I went Out-2D!” They had their confession! Even though they knew Elaine was being facetious and not serious, they rolled with it and wrote up the whole back story and even picked out some local public guy that they knew Elaine had met with before. This was it. After more than 30 years of dedicating her life to Scilonville, she was going to go to the RPF in Los Angeles for something that she never did by some kids from Hungary that joined the Sea Org 2 years ago so that they could get free room and board. After Elaine told the whole story to Elaine, Lisa was pissed. Lisa had enough power to maybe make this right again and told Elaine this. Elaine was upset, The Ethics Mission in ANZO had already spread the lies about Elaine. They had also screwed up enough other stuff at the AO that it was doomed at this point anyway. The org had already not been doing well, the new programs coming down from Int management had all but closed the place down anyway. Elaine was tired of being the hard ass Sea Org member. She wanted a break. Too bad the PAC RPF would be the furthest thing from that.

While Elaine did not want to do the RPF, she did not want to go back to ANZO either. It was a lose lose situation. Elaine was getting on and the RPF was the last place that an older person should be. Elaine could not believe how many old Sea Org members were on the RPF in PAC. Back, knee, and hip problems were the order of the day down there. Elaine was worried that she would end up broken and disposed of down in PAC. They hugged some more and Lisa said that she would have some stuff sent down to her mum to help her along until this whole thing got sorted out.

When Lisa got back to the Int Base, she went up to CMO INT. She asked a whole bunch of questions and tried to find out who sent the mission, who the people on the mission were and everything about this mess that landed her mum up on the PAC RPF. The dust was still settling from all the destruction these guys had caused and the CMO INT people told Lisa that they would let her know as much as they could find out.

Meanwhile an International Event was being pre-produced at the Int Base and David Miscavige wanted to review some footage in the Edit bays and Lisa had to go meet with him there.

Often, when David Miscavige would come into the edit bays to review an editor the latest music score for a video, he would make small talk or lay into someone before the review started. Today would be no different. As he sat there waiting for a few more people to show up, he started making small talk with Lisa.

“So did you hear about this old slut in ANZO?” David Miscavige says. “Yeah, we’ve had a mission down there and they put this chick on the meter and she confessed to all this lurid shit. Turns out this old hag down in ANZO has been fucking this big FSM down there and smoking his pole every chance she got. And she like 60 years old! She was the fucking CO of the AO! No wonder my new programs have not been getting done. Anyway, I could not believe it ” David Miscavige laughs as he recounts the story.

Everyone in the room besides David Miscavige is quiet. Pretty much everyone knows that Elaine was Lisa’s mum. Lisa is stunned into total silence and just stands there as he talks. He is oblivious as he flings out insult after insult.

Knowing that Lisa once hailed from Down Under he asks, “Did you know this bitch?”

“Yes, Sir. She is my mother Sir.” Lisa answered. You could see David Miscavige squirm for a second there. Here he was in a good mood and just trash talking about some old dag down in ANZO and all the sudden he is being made out to look like the bad guy here.

“Not really? She is your mom? I had no idea, really I didn’t.” David Miscavige knew that even his normal vulgar insensitive banter was over the line this time. He was literally shitting all over her mom and to top it all off, it was all bullshit.

“Lisa Allen is my maiden name Sir.” Lisa tells him so he can connect the dots.

After Lisa explained to him the whole story, he said that he would check into it and sort it out. He never did. Elaine stayed on the RPF. She did end up having the normal pains that 60 year old people have that work over 100 hours per week. On the RPF you are not allowed to walk. You have to run everywhere you go. Most RPF’ers have perfected the fast walk that looks like a light jog, but either way they are not walking. To add insult to injury, the RPF are not allowed to use the elevators. The RPF work in the basement and their showers and berthing are on the 6th floor. So in the best case scenario, you have these people jogging up at least 12 flights of stairs daily just to get to get to and from their rooms.

What’s the point of all this? I guess there is no point. This is just how David Miscavige ruins lives on a daily basis. It does not matter where they are from. I am aware that there are people in ANZO that are on the fence as to what they should do in regards to Scientology. I thought that many of them would know of the Allens and the Conleys. Obviously the Rinders are also old time ANZO Scientologists, but most people know about Mike Rinder and his departure from the organization.

I know there may even be some people out there in ANZO that hated Elaine Allen. She might have been a hard ass that no one liked. She was still someone’s mother and she was still a person. While there might be such a thing as Karma and she might have gotten what she deserved in the end, it does not mean that people can be treated like animals and this stuff should be allowed to take place in a modern day world.

To all those fence sitters out there in ANZO, is this what you signed up to support? As long as the money stops or slows flowing up the line to David Miscavige, new random programs will continue to come out. More and more people will disappear to the RPF in LA and you will be forced to buy things that you already have and get new E-Meters that put the old one to shame etc. More and more families will be disconnected and more and more people will be hurt by this organization.

What will it take for you to face reality? And I am not talking about the one you “created.”

    No wucking furries eh?

    Until next time…
    BFG”

Kelly , his wife, should be at his side now, not off making movies. They created Jett together, they should help one another thru the grief of his untimely death …together. To Patty Anne – this is what I posted at Female First in response to your accusation:

“I gree with you AC! KC is trash talking to restart the action at IUC – she loves the attention she gets when she does this so just ignore her and she eventually goes away. And it is unfair of Patty Anne to blame this site for KC’s trash talking – KC does what KC does and no one here has asked her to restart the trash talk. You are wrong in your accusation Patty Anne.”

No one at FF suggested to KC that she restart her bothersome ways at IUC. I posted the above at FF and am posting it here so you (Patty Anne) and all the others (especially Gull Dang members) can see what I have said about Patty Anne “behind her back” so to speak since I am not sure if she saw my response at FF. So It is now also posted here so she can see it.

Skip your post, are you kidding me? LB, you are contributing by laughing at the vile that Lavonda is contributing to. You -as a long time poster on this blog are condonging this BS. I find that apalling. I am not going to skip your posts. I would have never thought that you of all people would find it funny to laugh and make fun of other people. I think it is pretty clear what is going on. You think Lavonda is funny when she tells people to STFU, really? You think she is funny when she is engaging with Keanes Cat for laughs and at the same time she is making fun of people in the south. Don’t. please, bubba, we are not stupid. I have to wonder if you do not PM with Lavonda and Bitsey, for say just “sh*ts and giggles” ..? I am not from the south myself, but I can only imagine how offensive this is to anyone else.

LadyB, it’s a shame you didn’t read my post more closely, especially in your stated profession, i’d expect better of you. I said i was not accusing anyone at FF for being involved in KC, i SAID, as one of you posted, ( i gave the URL of the topic and the post) IAN should not have banned KC as they were the best poster here or some such comment, i thought with communication and understanding we could all agree that such comments as KC’s should not be tolerated…at least that was the message i tried to convey. I noted i was accused of chastizing FF posters, and you yourself accused me of ” And it is unfair of Patty Anne to blame this site for KC’s trash talking” If you are looking for trash talk LadyB….then you are in the wrong place. I am so disappointed in you, i badly misjudged your character, i had thought you reasonable, understanding and friendly woman. I won’t mistake that again….BTW…i have been at FF over two years now….check on some of my Gwenneth posts and topics…i’ve only left the past two months due to unreasonable , narrow thinking persons such as yourself.@ladybert62:

For anyone wanting to know what happened just now. I had read on FF from the IUC Hostility topic a post from one of them that IAN should never have banned Keane’s Cat, she was the best thing going her (or close to this)…i ccp the insulting, degrading, filth KC posted (spammed) here to show them what we go through, in hopes they would understand, and we could communicate agreeably how to handle such crap in the future, or at least open friendly dialog. Evidently it did not work out that way as you can see. So Be It. My attempts were met with accusations of “chastizing” them, Blaming them ( not KC), and stirring the pot”…i’m sorry no one heard my intended message…but at least….i tried.

LadyB, can you tell me one thing? (And this is all I really will ever ask of you). If you don’t care what Kate’s opinion of you is, and (I assume) anyone else who chats privately at Tam’s blog, why keep engaging us? Why write posts specifiically to “Gull Dang members”? I know you think I’m a bully and agree with the appalling things said about Kate on FF, so why even think of us or our friends? BTW, as you dislike my bullying so much, did it never occur to you that by implicitly condoning the behaviour of the likes of Lavonda, you are engaging in the exact same behaviour that you despise? I must admit that I never thought about you in too much depth, but when I did I thought: intelligent, funny, nice person, a bit arsey sometimes. But it just goes to show how little you can tell about people from their contributions to a gossip blog. Good luck with your life anyway LadyB. Peace.

I thought you left there because you wanted to be part of more of a book club? We were disappointed when you left. Are you angry about Gull Dang? You seem like you are angry with me for something? Did I do something to you? If I did, why haven’t you told me so we can work it out? We have posted together for a very long time. If that is not possible I understand, but I am really confused as to what is going on here? I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. Between you and IAN I just don’t know what to think.

I would expect you to drag this into the sexual gutter however you would be surprised to learn how many highly educated and sophisticated minds discharge their spare mental energy doing role playing on the internet. Keane is one of them, her boorish personality aside. I am obviously not one of them, there I said it for you. Really you are very childish. What began as a couple of troll posts from KC who we thought your troll Ian told you was BANNED FOR LIFE, YOU and YOU ALONE have turned into a 2 forum flame war. You must be a very important person. Ian is lounging in a 5 star hotel in Paris, shoving it in your faces and when you revolted, likely unbanned KC since you all were about to defect. Analyze.

I am a troll. I troll this site because of the way I was treated when I was a “regular”. I didn’t go all over the internet whining back and forth between forums or go start my own blog, I decided to troll. It has been so gratifying, let me tell you. Very cathartic. That is why I pick on the people who were especially hateful to me when I was here. I see them acting the fools then acting the victims and I am more than happy to stir the shit amongst them when I can. Paybacks can be a bitch ladies. I have not engaged in a nasty way with anyone who wasn’t an absolute asshole to me when I was a regular here. I too stand in Ladybert’s defense. This is a mob mentality, very low thinking and negative energy, very primal. She is as entitled to her opinion as you all are to yours. It is ignorant and unfair for you all to pile up on her for standing up to you. I have seen you women do this time and again at this forum. What is wrong with you people?

I just don’t understand how tiny letters on a monitor can become the certer of one’s existance….lurking, trolling, waiting for an opportunity to make a dig at someone for a real or imagined slight. I have always gone with the “talk it over” yano, clear the air , figure out how to fix the misunderstanding, and if it can’t be fixed, ignore one another politely. One can only withstand so many ignorant, insulting and rude comments thrown like daggers at them without wondering what is wrong with the person doing it that they are that important to the quality of their life? Do they troll their office, neighborhood, schools in search of some slight so they can rouse themselves to yet another battle? What good comes of it? I fail to see anything good coming from it. What could have been enlightening chat , friendships forming, learning new things in a positive manner …. has insted become Kindergarten of name calling, threats, insults, and neener neener neener , stix and stone kiddie stuff. I suppose i just don’t play games, which seems to be something most of you here now fail to understand. Enjoy yourselves, and when those of us you enjoy tearing down are not here, i hope you don’t stop but choose to begin to tear one another apart….there must be a million secrets you all hold near and dear…and you are welcomed to them.

Oh my God, is this one of those nightmares where one has to relive junior high??? Cause if it is I REALLY want to wake up now.

People are so bored that they come to a site they don’t like to act like junior high girls??? Really?? Because this is the first blog I have been on that people felt the need to call other posters names and wish them to have deaths in their family. I’ve been coming here for months now and am pretty disgusted at this point…I thought all of this had run its course and IUC had gone back to being a gossip blog, with the occasional travel review.

Ian, Sugar, Ms. 9 any out there? Hello?? If this is what you want IUC to be would you please just tell us that you like it like this?? I’m not an idiot, but I am very loyal, and I want to give you the chance to let us know what you envision for this site going forward. If you like it how it is now, I’ll leave, but I don’t want to abandon the site if it is just being hijacked.

The other posters “stirring the pot” obviously have an axe to grind for whatever reason. It has nothing to do with me so I’m staying out of it. Sorry to say but allot of people do not like Keane. She and i had words once and that was the last time i directly spoke with her. As far as I’m concerned she is the one person I will never defend. PS- the comment about Kate’s parent’s was not cool . Wrong on all sorts of levels.

I am a long, long-time lurker. Didn’t mean any harm, but this site is like a psychological study on what people will believe and how the spark from a tiny piece of gossip can grow into an unchecked forest fire. I developed my own opinions of the folks who post(ed) here, watched how relationships, cliques, and even individual personalities developed and crumbled, watched a phony guru in his many incarnations rise and fall, and until this moment did not find the need to comment. But tonight’s cat fight, (no resemblence to any other cat, living or dead–swear to God) was like the Season Finale to a beloved cable network drama. I can hardly wait to see which supporting actors will be renewed for another season, whether the main character lives or dies, and if the butler finally gets pinned for the crime. I’m going back to Lurkersville now, but I wish the Very Best to all of you. Okay, maybe just some of you. MOST of you, even.

    Hi Ladybert
Hope you are ok. Just wanted to clarify that I have nothing against FF Im just sad that some of the people I chatted to on a regular basis have gone over there and trashed some of the people from here. I understand the frustration at IAN not posting anything of interest on the AJ and BP front but it has upset me as to some of the comments that were made. Its not hard to work out who I am referring to and I dont dislike them I was just a little hurt by their comments, which I took personally. I hope you know that I dont have any issues with you as we have always been able to giggle at eachothers posts and on Fridays I always raise my glass to you!
However as for that disgusting excuse for a human being named Keanes Cat that is a whole other story. How can anyone wish another person’s parents or family members to die? that is beyond cruel. I know that KC has been trying to stir up trouble over at FF as well so I dont blame anyone other than the foul mouthed cold hearted bitch that posts under KC.
As for the comments referring to Kate and Keane – I have disagreed with both of these ladies ( and they have disagreed with me ) at times but have done so in an intelligent and polite manner. I do not have a problem with people having a differing opinion – its all good as long as we dont stoop to the Cat’s level.

as far as I am concerned we are all here and at FF to share our disgust at AJ and BP, and that should be enough to unite us all. Now I suggest that everyone go get themselves some grog and relax!! lol.

So, Miss Ladybert I will give you a shout out tomorrow ( friday ) so get that Baileys ready! x x x x

KATE – please know that you and your family are in my thoughts, dont let other peoples bitterness and cruelty beat you down. More than likely KC’s mother put her in a hessian sack and threw it in a river so KC does not have any understanding of what love and loyalty are! x x x x

Your posts today have confirmed to me something that was suggested about you a long time ago but that I did not want to believe about someone I considered an internet “friend” and was indeed fond of. For the same reason I wanted to uncover the truth about Brange I just wanted to resolve in my mind the truth about you. You have definitely revealed that to me in no uncertain terms today so my mind can rest easy at night over this little matter at least! Just wanted to resolve that quick thing with LadyB that’s all. But BRANGELINA, yes BRANGELINA, that most certainly is a tale that interests me for sure! Like where did they borrow those pesky kids from? And is Brad really a drunk or he is more of a whacked out party funster like his good (but sadly now ex) lady friend? These are the key questions and areas of interest in my mind and always will be! There’s nothing like the reappearance of an old self-confessed PR dame to remind you that they are still very much with us on this voyage of discovery. Keeps the mind focused and the wit keen! ladybert62 Hi there just to let you know that I am back from the US been gone a month and had a great time. I had a great time in SF but the hotel I stayed out was in a bad section of the city. In fact the tour guide who I confirmed a tour with told me us to get out of that hotel has quick as you can and check into the Holiday Inn. Apparently there have been many shootings there he said just get out. Well we couldn’t do that we never had the money to check into another hotel, so we made the best of it. But it was a bad area. In fact I was sitting in the lobby of the hotel one night and a guy came running through told everybody to shutup or I’ll fire, the police came running thru after him but they didn’t catch him. But the other parts of SF were absolutely beautiful the views that this tour guide took us to were breathtaking, we even seen dolphins near the golden gate bridge which he said was very uncommon to see them. But on the whole we loved it there even went out to Alcatraz which was very interesting. Anyway I;m back and now have to catch up on all that I have missed. I see nothing much has changed on the AJ and BP front. I even bought Ian’s book on Michael Jackson, and saw his home where he was carried out from.

HI BB14 – yes I know the area. When you first told me where you were staying I almost had a heart attack. I even walked to that hotel during lunch break to see what it was like (hotel looked ok from outside but the area was awful). I then talked to my hubby about it and asked if I should just tell you to not stay there. He advised me not to do that on a public site like this and that maybe you did not have the money or time to make such a change at the last minute. So, believe it or not, the entire time you were gone I was actually worried about you and I am glad you are home safe and sound! I am alo glad they told you in advance that the area was dangerous (I did try to do this much for you also!).

And, being someone who has lived in SF for about 42 years, I have never been to Alcatraz! Been meaning to go but just too lazy I guess and I am jealous about your seeing the dolphins – I have never seen them in the Bay Area.

What did you think of Ian’s book re MJ?

The site has been very s l o w lately while Ian has been promoting his book.!

    So welcome back anyway! :P

So much to see and enjoy..Saw you were in San Francisco, did you get a chance to see the Golden Gate Bridge and maybe cross it to Modesto? Neat islands out there also. Hope you got a chance to check out Disney ..well worth it! Most tourists want to visit Graceland, home of The King. I lived not that far once, and never went….go figure…lol.
As for The Brand, it’s all smoke and mirrors still. He’s living in one building, she on the opposite end of the estae in another. I’d come closer to believing the second story about those two druggie/alckies….

You just couldn’t stand it could you? You are the problem here. How many times do you need to hear it and from how many people before you stop lashing out and take a look at yourself? You may be and probably are a gracious person in real life but the persona you have on this blog is off the chain. I mean seriously. What is it about you that attracts trolls no matter what forum you go to? Your an adult. When people tell you something and there is a consistent theme then it is time to stop defending yourself by lashing out and start to do a bit of self examination. That is what most people would do at this point. I mean most people at this point after all the shit piled on you from all over the internet and you have not stopped just once and thought, “Is it me? Am I really coming off that badly?” No. Not you. You just stay in denial. You will not mature as a human being until you master this. It will just keep repeating over and over in various areas of your life until you attempt to deconstruct it.

I, for one, am a little bored with Brangelina. They just don’t interest me as they did even months ago.
However, it seems to me as though Angelina is changing her image to that of an “earth mother”. She definitely knows she has the media in her pocket.
Where did she learn all this? Easy! Anybody can see how easy it is to manipulate the media.

It seems everybody is doing it; The Cult of Scientology, fly-by-night celebs, bloggers, talk show hosts, producers of reality shows, (everything from AI to beauty pageants,) to plaintiffs in extortion-type suits, you name it.

And this is what’s scary: When the world has a climate of ongoing evil manipulation such as this, where it’s tolerated and just about anything goes, it is fertile ground for a powerful dictator to arise.
I mentioned this to my history prof, and he told me I am absolutely right!

Isn’t Braddie heading to 46 years of age? One can see the gray hairs in his beard. Will his penchant for being as natural as he can be interfere with his landing great roles? Or will he change his mind and go for the artificial look that will make him look younger.
BTW, it was widely reported several yrs ago, that Braddie used a body double for his thigh shots in “Troy”.

It’s the baggage he still carries that makes me sorta bored with him. He hasn’t really matured that much. Yet I can’t help but wish Brangie well; and it’s mainly for the sake of the six children.
So maybe that will keep Brangie interesting, hmm. jmo!

It has been a pretty sweet week all in all! (Sweetness intake is usually directly proportional to stress!). How about you?x

He warned me the last time that I’d better not do it again. Guess he didn’t realize he married a “collector.” Ooops. Guess the “cat” is outta the bag … AJ and I have something in common, I’m afraid. And while we are on the subject of sweet treats, may I also recommend Marks and Spencers for what I believe is unbeatable chocolate? For me M&S chocolate blows other confectioners out of the water with its slightly-nutty and not overly sweet chocolate. SO much better than all the leading brands! If you are ever this side of the pond you must stock up on it for your return journey, you will not regret it!

And it IS hunting season right now (which I don’t particularly care for, by the way … but I have to confess that moose burger is the absolute BEST, and Mr. McGyver (the Wilderness Man I’m married to) makes the most amazing moose and pork sausage EVER! All lean, hormone free meat. He came home with 800 lbs. of moose meat last night. Good Lord that’s a lot of meatballs! And the terraine most Alaskans hunt on is wild and rugged, to say the least! Hubby got pictures of a wild fox that was following them around, eating their granola bars. And a little ermine as well. The fox was literally at their feet, and they have the pics to prove it. AWESOME.

The oldest is a 3-year old Himalayan mix, then a 2 year old purebred Manx, a 1 year old registered Japanese Bobtail calico (or Mi-ke) and now, that kitty’s auntie … a 4 month old registered Japanese Bobtail DARK brown tabby. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH (they are all so darned cute!!!) … and those silly little bobtails are hilarious. If you’ve never heard of the breed, you MUST check them out.

    Hello!
The Cult of Scientology is indeed very, very dangerous! There are some whistle blowers who are trying to warn us. We are so immune to shocking developments in our society that we don’t respond readily, it seems to me. As I said before, these things happen gradually. If it happened overnight, we’d know the threat for what it is. But given to us gradually, we are lulled into inaction.
It’s the Trojan Horse concept. It’s the Unicorn concept. We are just too distracted with “red herrings” that are thrown to us. Remember the former administration that wanted to continue the war on a country which had nothing to do with 9/ll? How they kept those “colored alerts” coming? Red alert! Orange alert, etc!

Now I love my country just as much as the next person. When a person loves his country, he/she uses their freedom to constructively criticize their beloved country. However, the extreme right considers that as being un-patriotic. A big lie! Hardly anything is more patriotic than trying to keep this country righteous!

So the Cult of Scientology is rotten to the core, imo! They target celebrities because they have such devoted followers. They target the rich for obvious reasons. And their spokesperson in the movie industry, little Tom Cruise, is using his power to control the industry. The latest I’ve read is how he contacts casting directors and uses his power to approve or disapprove of their casting choices as regard his cult.
It sounds far-fetched but his recent history of interviewing those four, five actresses to be his wife, the couch-jumping on Oprah’s Show, etc! etc! would have been deemed “far-fetched” beforehand.

    JMO!

I agree that moose meat is delicious! And it’s because of the food it eats that flavors its flesh. The same goes for rabbits, ptarmigan, ducks, geese, muskrats, beavers and everything else.

Salmon is fabulous cuz it’s very oily due to the extreme cold of the waters. The other fishes are almost as good but the salmon can be prepared in many ways. This was developed over time because that was the food staple of the original Alaskans.
There are so many varieties up there. And some ways of preparation that is not publicized.
The natives make ice cream that is out of this world, imo!
    And the water tastes excellent.

    But the cold; Brrrr!
They must silently say a prayer of thanks for the inventor of jeans/levis. That withstands the cold better than almost anything.
As an aside, they did a study of suicides in San Francisco; esp. those who used the Golden Gate Bridge. Among those who survived the drop, the majority were wearing jeans.

Well, the story of the unicorn is a charming myth. It’s a creature with a pointy, long horn and is like a small horse.

The mythical creature played all day long and didn’t care for any serious living. So when it came time for Noah to build his ark, there it was splashing the water and having such fun. Well, we know what happened next. He didn’t respond to Noah’s warnings to come aboard the ark.

There was a hit record about the unicorn. If I’m not mistaken, it was during the ’60’s. I’m sure one can YouTube it.

    No problem!

We Taureans are something else, huh? So I just try to be mellow around them and submit to them. Well, up to a certain point. .

I have always read that we are materialistic, loyal, stubborn, accepting and other traits that I always denied. Finally I came to the conclusion they were mostly right. And this is why:
I went with a pal to a long, long beach which is rather isolated, and very popular with all types. We had to descend a steep cliff which had a good trail to negotiate.
On the way he asked me what sign I was. I told him I was a Taurus but astrologers were wrong about some of us; that I wasn’t materialistic at all.
He then pointed to the stuff I was carrying down. I had a large backpack loaded with food, drinks, reading materials, tapes, lotion and other “essentials”. In my arms were a beach blanket, clothing, my shoes, and a walkman.
    There went my argument!

That cracked me up! Me thinks “essentials” has an entirely different meaning for Taureans! Comfort, fluff, all the senses have to be covered! Oh boy! What’s better than a tropical white sandy beach, warm sun on your skin, feet in the sand, the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, smell of … well, the smell of the TROPICS (I’m a scent fiend), a cooler full of your favorite beverage and, of course, something good to eat! Aaaahhhh. That does it for me. Also, I think “materialistic” has a different meaning for Taureans! The flashy car? Nope, I couldn’t care less about that. Huge mansion? Nope, our log home on the mountain suits me just fine, thanks. Money up the wazoo? Uh … nope, that would be waaaayyyy too uncomfortable for moi! I’m happy with enough to pay the bills and support our menagerie of animals, and of course, my need for STUFF and that trip to the tropics I so desperately NEED. Then there is the word “NEED.” Hmmmm. Do you think there is an entirely different dictionary out there for Taureans???? Stubborn? Ha! Not ME!!!!

Hi, I’m back late Sat. nite.
There may be a dictionary for Taureans. I sure need one sometimes. Other guys puzzle me because I don’t consider myself like them. But then I’m a minority; so I can’t have walked in their shoes, as they haven’t mine. However, my friend showed me that I haven’t looked at myself that closely.
So? So I took many classes in human behaviors as well as participated in large group discussions. Still do.

Eventually, I got to know more about why people are racists, (including minorities,) and so much that is of extreme value.

One of the great, great lessons I learned in my counselor ed classes: We see ourselves in everyone we come in contact with. Anything we hate about strangers is what we hate about ourselves. In other words, strangers are like mirrors. If there’s something about them we hate, it’s because we recognize something we hate about ourselves in them. And that hatred is usually triggered by FEAR!

I’m in total agreement about the flashy cars, mansions, etc! However, a Taurus celeb, Jay Leno, has a fleet of expensive cars, and I’m sure he has enough money to buy several mansions. Oh, well!

I’ll be happy to just keep learning about everything. As some of us say, we are a work in progress!

Of the things I hate about Alaska, and there are many I’m afraid, is the intense cold. And cabin fever. And putting on layers of clothes only to have to take them off once I come inside.

Yes, I once lived there. And I still have friends up there. However, sometimes too much water has gone under the bridge. As Thomas Wolfe wrote, You Can’t Go Home Again. So it’ll be only visits for me from now on. And I don’t drink anymore. (The late Dean Martin used to say, “And I don’t drink any less!”) And Alaska, like many other dark and cold countries have a great number of drinkers.

Still, nature gives and nature takes, eh? After all is said and done there are great adventures still to be had.
My friends are scattered in various towns and cities. Are they still friends? Well, they are if I return. They have this attitude that if I want to know what’s happening up there, why come on up!

Although I wouldn’t want to be there should natural disasters happen.
I already heard about the weird stuff going on and continuing to happen because of climactic changes.

What Braddie didn’t do is defend Jennifer Aniston while all the nut cases accused her of everything in the book, and many others they made up. Not standing up to the evil doers; that, to me, was/is very unmanly and evil.

I don’t know Ian, personally. I do know that I’m grateful for his defense of Michael Jackson. I am not a fan, never was, of Michael Jackson. However, I plead guilty to accepting the accusations of child molestation back then. Now I see things differently, thanks to Ian. And if I can, I’ll help spread the word of MJ’s innocence re: child molestation.

My thanks to Kate, Keane Cyber Queen Supreme, and all the others who stand by him. It’s good to know you people as much as I’ve come to know you from your posts.

I have yet to hear Ian’s side of the story regarding accusations of untruths. I’m thinking that he will answer all the accusers with his book about Brangelina. And the book has been postponed. I have a hunch he is experiencing pressures of all sorts to not go ahead with it. The same with his publisher.
This sort of thing has happened before. It happened with Andrew Morton and his book on Tom Cruise. It was so watered down by the time that it came out that it had little interest for the public.
The Cult of Scientology did their work well.

So, Kate, et al: I am in your corner.

Off topic, but I have to say that I truly admired Patrick Swayze. He gave all he had for his profession. But what I admired even more was his attitude while he was stricken with such a horrible disease. Truly a magnificent man. He, like the late Senator Edward Kennedy, handled his fate with such extra-ordinary class and bravery!

Well HALLELUJAH! You learn something new every day! I KNEW I liked you, Alif! A former Alaska resident … no wonder you know about moose meat! LOL. You don’t have to tell me about what a drag the winters can be. I’m a California native and a hopeless BEACH BUMB, so going from shorts and flip flops to Carhardts and Bunny Boots was a shock of horror for me! After all these years, I’m used to it but still need those Hawaiian/Mexican holidays on a yearly basis.

And here’s a funny one! I used to have horses but decided to sell them because caring for them in the winter was more than I could handle by myself. No running water to the barn, so all water would have to be hauled out. Not a big deal really, but a chore. The biggie was cleaning stalls. Okay. What happens to liquid in sub-freezing temperatures. It freezes, of course. What do horses do in their stalls. Poop and potty, of course. So, there’s a bunch of frozen stuff mixed in with the sawdust and straw, and it’s like a giant POPSICLE! You have to wield an ICE PICK to break it up. And then there would be huge blocks of it that would have to be put into the wheel barrow and then wheeled through the snow to be dumped. Good Lord! My breaking point was the winter I had pneumonia and still had to go out in -12 degree weather to clean the stalls. It almost killed me. That spring, I found another home for the horses!

Drinkers? I suppose so, though all my friends are either non-drinkers or light drinkers. Honestly, I knew more heavy drinkers in California. Like anywhere, it all depends on the folks you hang out with. My oldest brother used to INSIST that EVERYONE used drugs. My sister and I would TRY to tell him that “everyone” was only every one HE knew because we personally knew a lot of “everyones” who didn’t use drugs! He never did believe us. LOL

Natural disaster? Man, did you HAVE to say that????!!!! WHEN a disaster comes, we can only pray it comes during the summer months. We have a HUGE generator that can fully run our house. And we hooked our nearest neighbors into it as well. And we have fuel and lots of food and water stored under the house. BUT, that won’t last forever.

So, while for many, visiting Alaska is sufficient and wise … I still LOVE IT.

Another great post, Alif. I’m not a hater either. Can’t think of much in this world I do hate, actually. Oh, I hate violence and I hate Satan, and I hate bad behavior of all kinds … which covers a HUGE range of behavior, by the way! But I’ve never hated anyone … my dad taught us early on the difference between hate and anger and had zero tolerance for hatred. An extraordinary man way before his time. Honestly, I simply do not like Brange together, as a couple. Only because I don’t like anything they do or anything they stand for as a couple. But they have those kids, and for those kids’ sake, I actually hope they can work something HEALTHY out. I don’t care about either of them, really. Not anymore. I used to like BP, but like you, I disagree with the things he has NOT done. So I’ve lost respect for him. AJ? I never knew anything about her before she hooked up with BP. I’ve only seen 2 movies she has been in (Bone Collector and MAMS) and I liked them both. I often wonder WHY I come to these sites! For some reason, I just can’t help myself. Is it an illness? Kinda like swine flu? Is it airborne or something in the water? Hmmmmm. None of my other friends have this affliction. Perhaps I need professional help. LOL

I think we need to start a Patrick Swayze thread. He most certainly did handle himself (always) in a dignified manner. Kennedy, Swayze, Christopher Reeves, Michael J. Fox … Michael J. Fox is still around, thank goodness, but each of these men did/have done/are doing so much for their cause. Very noble and they deserve so much more.

I was exhausted just reading about your winter travails. But a hardy soul does have his/her rewards.
And natural disasters? Yes it could happen anywhere. Why I’ve heard that California will yet get hit with a gigantic tsunami (from Pacific volcanic eruptions) and that the new Pacific coastline will be in Arizona.
They say that in jest, however.

Well, of course, drinkers are everywhere. But they seem to concentrate heavily in dark, cold, snowy countries. Look at Scandinavia, Russia, Northern Asia, Ireland, and Alaska. It’s not a judgement just a fact. While there are many drinkers down this way, they have a lot of outdoor activities that sorta temper the drinking. And drinking is not as acceptable as it is in northern climates.
The local lawmakers made drinking on the beaches a cause for arrest. So what did the drinkers do? Very clever of them; they started collecting in rafts offshore and having their parties.
The public inebriates down this way are usually the homeless. The police do a lot of citing and giving them warnings. But the climate is in their favor here. They are pretty much tolerated during the daytime. There’s plenty of free meals and some collect recyclable bottles and cans. And I do believe they are able to sleep outside in the city after some lawsuits on their behalf.
I tend to not give to young and healthy appearing panhandlers. I don’t care to enable them in that lifestyle.
And here’s a clever thing: The police in other states tell their homeless how wonderful California is to the homeless. They extol our climate, hinting that there are places to sleep overnight in relative privacy and comfort, etc!
I found out about this from several homeless people in Northern and Southern California.

While I love Alaska, it’s not the Alaska I used to love even more. Nothing is the same including California.

The news about Patrick Swayze is very comforting to his fans and family, I”m sure.
He was a dignified person despite earlier problems stemming from alcohol abuse.
Like Senator Kennedy, he had a beautiful courageous last act in the story of his life.

Michael J. Fox. I mainly know him from “Back to the Future”. I know that he won a bunch of emmys for his tv series. Also he’s an activist for stem cell research.
Christopher Reeves. When his accident happened he was fully expected to not survive. One can only imagine the hell he went through after that.
Not to forget the women. Farah Fawcett was also stellar in her final stages here on earth.
Natasha Richardson was a talented star who would have had an even stronger presence as she grew.
Her husband, Liam Neeson was in awe as he related how Senator Kennedy took some time to personally send his condolences even as he, Kennedy, was going through his trials.
LN said he became a U.S. citizen partly because of the tremendous outpouring of sympathy from Americans.

We have lost so many this year who have made their lasting mark in our world.

Hey Alif, I was so sorry to hear that Patrick passed. I was rooting for him, even though that cancer is so severe and one seldom surives. I have lost several friends to it. Lisa and Patrick seem to have such a love story, unlike so many stars.

Hard to understand with so many outside influences that take ones like why they put themselves in harms way. Those latest pictures of Angelina are disturbing, she is scary skinny, and I mean that because it just appears so unhealthy. Only one month ago at the premier of Inglorious Basterds she looked the best she had in a very long time, and if it is indeed true they are trying for their 7th child, she certainly looked better prepared back a month ago than she does now. Why would you lose weight and start taking prenatal vitamins? Makes no sense to me. Would seem more reasonable to gain a few pounds and eat healthy, don’t you think? Odd also they would be adding to their brood when they can not seem to even handle taking all six out at one time as a family.

I can imagine there could be some pressures on IAN regarding the book, by them or whoever. It could be as simple as he has not had time to wrap it up since the timing of MJ’s death threw him off on this book. I suspect he has had to go back over so of his sources as well , just based on the one that was trying to mess with him on the false pregnancy reports back in the spring.

One thing is certain, it will not be an easy ride, much worse that what he has had to deal with for his book on Guy, and on MJ. Someone though needs to tell the truth about the frauds committed, so …:)

Allthough I’ve had a long history of working in medical facilities, I never specialized in womens’ problems. I was more the ER type of worker. Gave that up to go for higher education.
So I ‘d be in the dark about Angie’s suitability to be pregnant yet again. From what I’ve read there are suspicions about her twins even being theirs.
But I’ve had a hunch for a while. I wonder if BP has “slow swimmers” just like little Tommy Cruise. But it’s just my hunch. I’d be happy for him if he could sire children even tho I have little to
no respect for him. It’s the other things that make me draw the line. For one, I don’t like being manipulated unless it’s for a justified or noble cause. I just don’t see that from Brangie.
But there’s always the opportunities to change for the better. And that would have to include making amends; telling the loonies to cease and desist the bashing of the innocent JA!
Incidentally, I note that look-alike, Megan Fox, is getting attacked on many sites. What did she do?
Nothing near as evil as what AJ has already done! jmo!

Yes, this summer will be notable for many losses in show biz! Just learned that Mary Travers, of Peter, Paul and Mary (a hitmaking folk singing group of the ’60’s and ’70’s) has died of leukemia.
Also, Henry Gibson, who was in “Laugh-In” a smash tv show of the ’60’s, and who
won an award from The National Society of Film Critics, as Best Supporting Actor, (for “Nashville” 1974), has died after a short illness from cancer.

I, too, have lost several relatives from cancer. I have read good things about the progress toward an effective treatment but funding is difficult to obtain. We’re so involved in spending on other things like wars, prisoners, etc! etc! that we just don’t have enough for this critical matter.

Hi Alif, I had heard about Mr. Gibson, but not Mary, isn’t it odd that it does seems to fulfill the old wives tale that deaths come in threes. I was talking with an associate the other day and we wondered about that. Interestingly, when someone lies they tend to use the number three in their story somewhere. We will have to pay better attention to what Miss Jolie and Mr. Pitt say in the interviews they given in the future. According to the body language experts they fail miserably.

Yes, there seem to be many causes that funds are not going to. I hesitate to make any more personal references on here about some of the ones that are important to me, and there are several.

I had to sign in again today to see any posts, did you have to do that? There must be a problem with the board, a glitch perhaps.

Nice to see you here Alif, it seems not everyone has been recruited lol :) Loyalty to friends and faith in someone I choose to support is not something I walk away from. I remember when I first began posting here there was only a handful of posters a day, so we have come full circle, except it was a bit more peaceful. I enjoyed then also. I like the puzzles, the guessing games that IAN put out, we had some fun with those. I am not referring to the SR riddles, this was before that. It was more like “Clue for a day” kind of thing. Intractive. Brain teasers, nothing to take too serious.

Did you see Ted C’s rant about he and his partner breaking up and why he went back to smoking and getting a bit of hassle for it. I was surprised, they have not been married that long, and were together for much longer before the wedding. That explains his comments that the smartest thing Angie did was not to marry Brad. Wonder if he now does not believe in marraige anymore. What is it about that, a ball and chain ? It does show how much of what Ted says is colored by his own personal experiences. One day he says Brad is bi, the next he says he is not.One day they are happy as can be, the next day there is a tropical storm brewing in paradise. samcc..

Between life, work, hobbies, church, animals, The Awful Truth and IUC, that’s all the time I have. As it is, I usually have to come on late night when everyone is sleeping. Boooo hoooo. I used to talk to a poster named Z. I MISS HER!!!! HI Z IF YOU’RE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE!!! xxxxxxxxx

I was soooo bummed about Mary from Peter Paul and Mary! My parents had ALL their albums and my dad would play them sooooooo loud. I loved their songs and new all the words. My all-time favorite album was Peter Paul and Mommy .. and I have it on CD so my daughter can listen to it. ALIF, I love all the news flashes you give us. It would be nice if we could get a social issue topic going in the Forum or something. I was pretty interested by the uproar caused over Obama commenting on Kayne West’s being a “jackass.” I couldn’t figure out why, considering he HAD acted like a complete jackass and no one was arguing THAT. And causes not receiving funds. Those are great topics. Let’s think about it.

    Back at almost midnight, Thursday.
A friend invited me to the males-only, weekly meeting again. I don’t really want to. I did when there were 3 guys orig. from England. But they stopped attending. Many come back later on if only because they’re passing through.

Anyway, that ’s the place they dish about celebs of all ages. Since this is an area of Calif. that has attracted many celebs, many of whom are retired. For example, Martin Milner, (Route-66 tv series) is down here. Many others!
But also, these guys who attend have been in show biz in a smaller capacity; or they know other people who are in. So the grapevine is busy 24 hrs.
Well, I took off from all that. Don’t know why. Maybe because I might be tempted to tell about my own experiences with show biz. And I don’t want to do that. However, they always say to the forty to fifty of us, that “what is said here, stays here”. Fair enough!

I don’t know too much about Ted C. His blinds are too much for me to decipher. And I notice that he doesn’t put juicy stuff out there re: really big names. Only the latest wannabe or some such.
Don’t know if it’s because of his bosses, or what.
I did read a little here and there. He seemed like a happy homebody with his s/o (signigicant other). But that in itself just didn’t seem interesting to me.
So what did I do? Just out of curiosity I went to the Blind Vice section of E! Online Community Forum Home. There is a thread about popular blind vices and the reveals.
Still didn’t know most of what they’re talking about.

    To be coninued–

I feel sorry for Brangie. But I’d be so happy if they do start to make amends. And if Brad seeks therapy to conquer his mean streaks, sometimes bordering on the sadistic, imo!

Then too, what if he decides to come out? I know many a person out there is starting to wonder even as he tries to “butch up” his image. I don’t think I’d bet the rent that he’d be that brave. Instead he’s remaking his image. Sorta tryin’ to channel old time movie stars.

Yes it seems that this site is deserted. Ian probably knows why. And we certainly have our hunches.

Anyway, I’ll be back tomorrow at this thread. I will post, if possible, the losses of celebs since Jan. 1st.
    Cheers!
He proved he can morph into his latest female partner, so he can mimic the old time movie stars. Ah, but he doesn’t have what they had. They were originals!

Ted C is completely infatuated with the Twilight kids right now. They are super hot and they are bringing him loads and loads of hits because he has some really good inside sources there. When I used to read just him, he wrote a lot about the Brange. He has a great Blind Item called Fake-a-Ferocity. Check that one out and see whatcha think! What I like most about Ted is he uses his own sources and doesn’t quote from other gossip sites. And he doesn’t write things he can’t back up. E-lawyers are always on him. He and his partner got married only a year ago and are already splitting. Not his choice. I feel bad for him. Only reason I still read there is because I have been for years and I still like TED. I don’t care much about who he writes about though. It’s just kind of like visiting with a friend every day. LOL

Your group meeting sounds … huh? Confusing? LOL. Sounds like a hoot, actually. So … guys sit around gossiping and then it stays in the room? How the heck do they do THAT?????? Is it a man trick or something? Baaahwaaa haaaaa haaaaaa!

A very good morning Alif and Togi, i was reading your comments Alif , about the manner in which Brad morphs into a version of his lady-of-the-moment. He has consistantly done this throughout his time in HW, and i noticed he continued this pattern with AJ….in the beginning….now however, he seems to be trying to morph into….gasp!….George Clooney! I’ve been watching his appearance ever so gradually changing from Mr. Angie Jo .. aka .. Bad-Azz, to Mr 1920’s Film Director, hat and all! Hi Alif, do you think that Brad is gay, not bisexual. I remember the yestergay riddle, that made me wonder if Ian was headed that way. Hard to grasp that when he has been so gaga gushy mushy over GP, and per Ted he is in total lust and love and his world will end without Angelina. I know there are many that say it is a known fact he is bisexual, it was not a known fact 4 years ago, but apparently it seems to be now. I have wondered though by some of his comments , like the one being stuck in the midwest and no one to turn to like you and getting preached at, sounded like he aims alot of his congential sadness and frustration on not being able to just “come out” as a gay man. If he is not gay, then there are many people working overtime trying to make everyone believe he is.

There are a few reasons I do not believe he is. Brad has always joked about it, done photo shoots that would cause people to question it, he is no insecure in thinking he could be found out. Mainly though, he has just fallen too hard for some of the women he has been involved with, by all accounts. He was so into Angelina in the early days, she could do no wrong. His eyes would light up like broadway at the mention of her name. That was one of the first thing that made many notice he was getting so involved with her, besides of course those who witnessed it on the set.

Today, he looks like a broken man, like he has gone down a dark dark path with a batshi*te crazy biotch , and one wonders how it has changed him. Will the old Brad ever resurface, the one who did smile and laugh and have a good time , well, we do see that when he is out at other places with out Angie. It is hard to truly feel sorry for multi-millionaires that have placed themselves where they are by design. He wanted to be a movie star, he wanted to be rich and famous, he wanted to be more than 2 x 4, and he is. That is the bubble he has created for himself, it is just unfortunate that he did it withsome he by many accounts is bringing him down.

Nice to hear your opinion, I know you have said before many have said he is gay. I have never heard gay, just bi , and as I said, only recently. I would agree, if he is gay, he will never brave it and come out.

Then he insinuates that Fakeys partner is bisexual, the comes right out and says yes he bi, then when asked if there are any straight males in HW, he says David D (Teas sex addict) definite yes straght, and Brad Pitt maybe. I don’t know PA, I think he just does not care about his appearance right now, signs of depression. He said once to LK I believe that he is just to lazy to groom his hair so he wears the hat out. I know some think he has plugs, does not look that way to me, he is just lazy. He has gained weight, (he looked slender at the IB premier in Berlin) in the last month. Angelina otoh has lost weight, When they went Gerbil shopping at the end of August, she looked normal, now, she looks as though she is starving herself. Imagine being backed into that mess, those making money off the Brand will not let go, you don’t want to hurt your kids or one give them up, no wonder they look the way they do. They have created a living hell for themselves. He says he is more free than he has ever been, doesn’t look that way. The only thing that makes sense in relation to that comment is , if he is gay, he has the perfect set up, to do as he pleases, and never have to come out. That makes him a coward and a hypocrite though, he is an advocate for gay rights, donates 100000.00 for Prop 8, so to be a fraud about that would be unforgiveable to many. Maybe that is the Great Deception. LOL..or one of many. So many to choose from these days. I vote that the congential sadness has taken over. He does not care how he looks. When they were split and not seeing each other back in March and April, he took off the hat and the baggy clothes, remember that. Looked different for a short 6 weeks. Something happened to change that, and forced him to go back, because we all know they were done, he was gone, and papers were in his hand.

They are playing a deadly game. It’s clear to all that their coupling has a terrible effect on both of them, that their children are not being raised in a loving , stable family environment, and that the level of depression in each is growing on a daily basis. All this suffering for a year of LUST. I don’t feel he ever was “in” love with AJ, i think it was his base instincts for a wilder, no holds barred sexuality that drew him in. That and the open relationship they share. Now they both show the strain of “getting what they wished for” but i feel the children will be the ones to suffer most of this. Why do not Jane and BIll Pitt step in, or Jame’ ? Definately an intervention is called for here.@Kate:

Are blacks and other minorites still relegated to the back of the bus in most peoples’ minds? Did you ever marry and realize it was a mistake soon after? Is December 21, 2012 of concern to you? Are you afraid of aging?
I have this problem with (describes symptoms). I’m looking for an apartment in this area. There are apartments available for (tells about a bargain price); and we prefer people we know, etc!
Finanical straights are widely discussed. Vacation hideaways. And the arts are mentioned. Many of us are not so deep into highbrow offerings. I am, sorta!
But then comes the experiences with celebs. I don’t know if it’s bragging, or what. Some revelations do raise one’s eyebrows. So I don’t venture any more of my experiences. I learned the hard way. Some practically demanded details when I casually mentioned one experience.

There’s a mix. Some are of various persuasions. Gays, bi’s, straights, celebates and others. No one kind prevails. There are some who are dealing with substance abuse issues, and those we refer to the groups that address those issues.
After a long period one starts to notice who isn’t suppressing their racist or anti-christian bent. These people start to reveal themselves and it gets tricky because by that time one gets to feel comfortable around them.
So that’s why I’m not eager to associate with that group. It may well offer opportunities to quietly oppose them.

That’s pretty cool and is something very beneficial to a lot of different people. Leave it to good old California to have something like that. There were, and still are, many, many things about California that I loved and truly miss … not counting the weather!!!!!! Sigh.

But darn. I had this really funny picture in my head of a bunch of men sitting around the campfire singing Kumbaya (sorry Kate!!!! LOL) It was just visual I created to make myself laugh (and it worked).

Hi Kate. I think I like PattyAnn’s take on this, as far as Ted not having a set stance one way or another. I feel pretty confident that he goes with what he believes to be the truth. He doesn’t make things up. Like me, I have my opinions. But they aren’t set in stone. Well, not USUALLY! LOL. But I am reasonable. If someone gives me good a good argument, I can at least see their side. I am also open to changing my mind if I believe that argument has more weight than the facts I had to form my opinion in the first place. Ted goes like that too, I think. He’s can’t be certain. Otherwise, he WOULDN’T fluctuate. I do understand that Ted bugs some people. I’m just not one of them.

In answer to your question re: my take on his sexual orientation. I would think he’d be bi but that’s just my opinion.

There’s a reason he is so unhappy given his deep feelings about equality for gays. I can’t think of a major star who comes right out and says the kind of things he does. It is admirable, imo.
If he is bi, he has a good thing going, for him. He has children he famously longed for. He has a partner who is also bi, therefore more freedom to do their separate things if the fire has died.

JMO but I think he’d start being happy if he tells JA he’s sorry for not defending her. And he proves it by demanding that AJ publicly express her participation in the hate fest for JA by the loonies. Would not wait with bated breath for that to happen.
That just seems to me a way for him to get some happiness back. It would be the manly thing to do.

There are still remnants of the hippie culture among some people down this way. Some feel a bit of nostalgia.

One person I use to see on campus has run for mayor several times. He’s deep into sun power as an energy source. He’d be like the actor, Ed Begley, Jr.
I get a newsletter from a leader on campus back in the day. All the regulars who used to congregate around the meeting house and share vegetarian food give him feedback about their current activities. I think one tall, lanky blond did become mayor somewhere in Northern California. Others kept up the activist lifestyle.

We had many a weekend (Whole Being Weekends) in the mountains (such as they are) doing all kinds of things like hiking, swimming, singing around a campfire, outdoor games, storytelling, a lot of dancing, dancing, dancing; workshops, etc!
A guy even talked me into getting on stage with several others to do improvisational comedy. Don’t know how I got through that one; although I rec’d unexpected compliments.
Then on Sunday, we’d have our breakfast, then later congregate at the large field, arms around one another as announcements were made.
It was at that time I met a guy. I didn’t know it but he was hurting badly over the recent breakup of his marriage. I befriended him and he never forgot. We’re still buds even tho he moved to upstate WA and married again.
There was an even more dramatic story that unfolded with another student. But I guess we all had our great experiences.
So it still goes on. There are die-hards among them who make sure it continues.

For his first appearance, Brad was looking very scruffy as he basically participated in an involuntary photocall out on the street. He was rocking a really messy goatee-beard thing, aviator sunglasses, a bomber jacket and jeans. It’s always weird to see Brad in those kinds of low-key situations, because I get the feeling he’s quite a dandy. Like that time he wore an ascot. Shiver. ”

Interesting posts Alif; working with various governmental agencies in the mid-west as i have over the years, i’ve come across similiar groups of people such as you mention. Perhaps it’s the basic human condition that many of us have evolved from that keeps some critical of others and their life choices. I don’t really know, but i do respect the rights of each individual to live freely within the bounds of society’s laws. If you don’t like it, raise your voice and change the law by majority rule, otherwise, we must agree in order to live peacefully. I saw on CNN online yesterday as i was coming down with this terrible head cold and surfing the news of the net, the Silent Majority is no longer holding to that title, but holding rally’s across the U.S. including a massive one in D.C. What was that old movie? “I’m Mad As Hell And I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore” with i believe Albert Finney? That time is coming here in the U.S. i firmly believe.

Anyway, always enjoyable, and thought provoking to read your posts… :-)

P.S. Found two good Bradly type posts of interest which i posted above.

I cannot tell them all I do without sounding self-aggrandizing. As some of them don’t care for my faith, etc!

Yes, Brad is going thru a phase of depression. It doesn’t have to be permanent. There’s all kinds of help out there if he wants.
I was struck by his loss of youthful good looks. But I wouldn’t count him out. He might become a good character actor.
His youthful prettiness got him the excellent opportunties for on-the-job-training in the film biz. And that might pay off.
It’s just that he’s carrying all the baggage from his past. It seems to me he needs to unload that baggage. That’s why I said there’s all kinds of help out there should he seek it.
He has to surrender in order to win the war. Does that make sense?

Yes, that was Faye Dunaway at the peak of her career. She won the Best Actress oscar.

Brad Pitt had the help of a body double, (for the thigh shots) in “Troy”. It was pretty well-reported at the time. Also, some actors have digital help when they have to show some of their body.

A little trivia on Faye D.
I think Natalie Wood, and others, turned down the role of Bonnie Parker. Then FD stepped in. She nabbed her first oscar nomination for Best Actress.
Around that time, there was a highly influential movie columnist by the name of Sidney Skolsky. His column was in The Hollywood Citizen-News, based in the heart of Hwd. So it was widely read by insiders.
He regularly featured contenders in his column during the oscar season. Many times he revealed the ones he favored to win. He did this over the years from the earliest part of his career.
That year, he supported FD for the oscar, over Audrey Hepburn, Dame Edith Evans, Katharine Hepburn and Anne Bancroft. Katharine Hepburn prevailed.

Some winners should have thanked him because he pushed them in his column. He also had a “Readers’ Mailbag”. And week after week, he’d have readers discuss who should win, in their opinion. Usually the one he preferred got a lot of fan attention in his column.
I had to research a lot of stuff. That was when I had fun with the awards.

There’s a new book out about Natalie Wood. The captain of The Splendour collaborated with Marti Rulli.

He claims that when they found Miss Wood, there were bruises all over her body, much more than would happen as she clung to the dinghy. He said it looked like she was in a terrible fight.
He said that he, Christopher Walken and RW rehearsed their story of what they’d tell authorities, over and over, with lawyers present.
He’s very definite that “foul play” was involved.

That makes sense. She was deathly afraid of water, especially dark waters. It seemed so strange that she’d venture out in the dark to the dinghy without someone to accompany her even with all the alcohol that the party consumed.

It’s titled, GOODBYE, NATALIE, GOODBYE SPLENDOUR. It’s by Marti Rulli, with the boat captain, Dennis Davern.

I completely agree that Brad could become an excellent character actor. I watched 12 Monkeys again the other night and couldn’t believe I had forgotten how great he was in that movie! Some people say he isn’t a good actor. I believe he is a very good actor. I, too, believe it is up to him where he goes from here. There are plenty of roles for men who are not young and hunky. He is still a good looking man, and probably always will be. He’s aging, yes. But he doesn’t have to look poo-poo-ish. He still cleans up well.

Isn’t it fun being enigmatic, Alif??? Faith always seems to be one of the things that throws people off. There are all kinds of common perceptions out there on what it means to be a Believer. A lot of people put us all in the little box they believe we live in. LOL. It’s politically incorrect to type-cast anyone’s ethnic background or sexual orientation (to a lesser degree), but it’s A-OK to talk smack about “religious” folks. There are soooooooooo many Closet Christians out there (the doctor, the lawyer (yes, I know a LOT of Christian lawyers .. LM Rear End Off!), the fire chief, the police officer, the teacher, the nurse, etc.). We’re everywhere … even on the Internet, blogging, and not passing judgment. Imagine that! Haaa haaa.

Well, just keep “helping” the good folks, Alif. It’s what you’re commissioned to do. And it feels good on top of it!

Those who work in medical facilities sometimes have otherworldly experiences. I’ve read of nurses and doctors actually observing spirits leaving the bodies of just deceased patients.

I read about a male, teen blond. He had lived a christian life despite intense peer pressure. He contracted leukemia and wasted away.
Time came when he was apparently nearing the end. His parents visited and were on the left and right side of his bed. The teenager was so weak that he could barely lift his arms.
All of a sudden he sat upright and looked straight ahead. He hugged both his parents. He murmured “Jesus”; after which he collapsed and died.
Many incidents happen such as that. Hospital staff just don’t talk about it. People wouldn’t believe them.
‘But the above story was in the paper.

I wasn’t there but my late sister told me this. She and my other sister were visiting a young man who had had leukemia. Now there were the familiar partitions that are used for patients’ privacy around the patient’s bed. So my sisters were sitting while their young friend lay behind the curtain.
Quite unexpectedly, one of my sisters saw someone’s feet behind the curtain walk toward their friend’s bedside. There was a pause, then the person walked out without being seen.
My older sister asked “Who was that?”
My other sister replied that she hadn’t seen anything.
The young man had just died.
Now in my family and culture we believe that someone familiar will pick us up when we are to go from this world, (a spirit guide).

    Togi.

Hi! It’s been ten days since anyone posted. So I thought I’d put this out there and see what you think.
It has to do with moose and how it’s hunted by some Alaskan newcomers for nefarious purposes; not what Mother Nature intended. Also, I firmly believe not what God intended.

I just called some relative after a long spell. I asked her how the natives are doing this year as they prepare for the hard winter ahead.
She told me the natives are hungry. She said certain people esp. from Anchorage come up to their country and trespass. She said they come up to kill moose; but only to keep the antlers. The rest of the kill is thrown away. She described the evidence that natives found. She predicted the rough times coming because there is less moose to share with one another.

We know this is not what everyone does. It’s only the ones who have no respect for the laws of Mother Nature who disrespect her creatures.

I told her that the natives should form a coalition to safeguard their livelihood. She agreed. We agreed the problem is that the natives are not sophisticated enough to utilize their potential power at the polls. They have little choice but to move forward using all the help they can muster from any and all sources.

Personally, I am completely disgusted by those who only kill because they want the trophies.
I well recall an article with photos in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. It showed a light-haired, rather portly man sitting in his living room surrounded by many, many heads and horns of Alaskan wildlife such as dall sheep on the walls.
He had the look of a zombie; like he had no soul.

Okay, Alife. Here is my response to your post.

I HATE HUNTING. I love animals, and I prefer them ALIVE, thank you very much. I absolutely ABHOR the practice of stuffing an animal, or putting a head on the wall. I find nothing more disgusting than those magazines with pictures of people holding up the head of a dead animal, smiling like they just went for a ride at an amusement park. I dreaded moving to Alaska because I knew it was a big hunting state and I couldn’t stand the thought of seeing dead animals. Just this very day, I received a phone call from my neighbor, asking if I would be okay with her coming over onto my property and “harvesting” a cow who had wandered into our front yard. I looked out the window and saw the cow over by our garden, her calf nearby. I couldn’t allow it, even though my neighbor shod my horses and housed her horses in my barn. She had an empty freezer and this was the last day of the hunting season … STILL, I couldn’t allow it. Not on my property. Not in my front yard. Not in front of my daughter. Not in front of me. To my knowledge, the cow and her calf both lived through this hunting season.

Okay, now that’s off my chest …

I’m in no way, shape or form a vegetarian. I love beef, chicken is okay … and I LOVE moose burger. Unfortunately, I’m not a big salmon fan, though I do like it canned with jalapenos, and we do can it that way. I also like halibut a lot. I just can’t cook fish to save my life. Love it in the restaurants, but not so much from my own kitchen. Bummer. As far as the hunting in Alaska goes, I personally have no knowledge of wasted moose meat. I can’t help but believe the kills made for antlers alone are not Alaskans. I realize the Natives in the Villages may be blaming folks from Anchorage … and the could very well be right. Anchorage is full of Seattle and Pacific Northwest transplants, more on the yuppy side than any other part of the state. But still … I’m not saying the Natives in that area are wrong. I’m just saying it’s hard for me to believe because from what and who I know, moose meat is very valuable to the state residents.

Now … I absolutely, completely, without a doubt 100% agree that the Alaska Natives out in the villages should receive a larger percentage of the harvest permits issued each year. From what I understand, they receive subsistence rights to harvest. I’m not a hunter, and I don’t know DNR (Dept. of National Resources … Fish and Game) law. My husband knows it inside out and sideways, but not me. The laws and penalties for poaching need to be MUCH STIFFER. I’m not talking about the guy who steps over the boundary and shoots an animal out of his zone. That kind of stuff is stupid. I’m talking about POACHERS. They are like land and nature rapists, IMO. They are criminals and should not be slapped lightly on the wrist.

My husband is THE most anal retentive person I know. He follows rules to a “T”. Not only does he follow the rules of the law, but he follows the rule of simple respect of life. He doesn’t shoot what he doesn’t eat. He doesn’t catch more than he needs, and more often than not, releases the fish he catches. And he is CAREFUL to not unnecessarily injure the fish (and makes sure it swims off safely) while removing the hook. He gets ANGRY when he sees people disrespecting fish. So do I. I have seen kids STOMPING on fish with their feet, and I have approached them and hollered at them for it.

I don’t know what the answer is, Alife. Most people don’t waste. In fact, here in the Valley, when a moose is hit by a car, the Troopers call groups that have put their names on a list (churches mainly) and the meat is salvaged. Moose and salmon are very important to the State. So many people rely on them to fill their freezers. This would not be a good place to be caught doing what your friends talk about. Alaskan juries would not be kind or forgiving. The people who are doing it are people with money. So they need to be hit hard in the pocket book. REALLY hard. REALLY, REALLY hard.

I am really ticked off about this and will have to talk to my hubby about it. He’ll be even more ticked off about it than I am. I’ll ask him what he thinks would work … outside of stringing the guys up by the kahunas, because I KNOW that’s what he is going to suggest initially! LOL.

OT … you mentioned no comment in 10 days. Can you see the other topics? If not, you need to log in. Ian is back and we have PMs (private message) capabilities. As always, I love your topics! Take care.

    Hi Togi!

    Thanks for the reply.
I believe the relative I talked to yesterday. She names the Native who came upon the moose kill minus the antlers. She said this is not an isolated incident.

I know that many yrs ago, the Natives would tell of fisherman who would go into their towns and fish. After they were done, the Natives would later see the dead fish rotting on the banks.

Will ponder over this development. Yes, it’s people from Anchorage who were the guilty parties. And they know who comes from where up in that less populated area of Alaska.
We both agree that the oil money attracted a lot of lowlifes up to Alaska.

Off topic, but I asked her, just for deckuvit what did she think of Sarah Palin. She had a favorable opinion. She said that Alaskans already suspect she’ll make a run for the White House in the next election.

We had a spectacular heat wave down this way. It’s lasted a few days. It was hotter than summertime.
    Had to stay indoors.
I used to love going to my favorite canyon (miles long) and try to see snakes. I saw one that was the most beautiful snake I’d ever seen in person or on tv. It had ivory white skin with deep purple triangular shapes and it was about three to four feet long and if an adult connects the points of his thumb and forefinger, well that was the size of its circumference.
Another time I saw a king snake. It wasn’t alarmed by my walking nearby in a parallel path. Saw more dangerous-looking snakes like a thick deep-orange-brownish snake in the nearby grass. I found it because of the fresh trail across the sand. Wanted to get someone’s attention so they could see it but no one came by.

How’d I get into that? Oh yes, the heat. It may continue.

There are motorists and byciclists who deliberately run over them, the same as other small creatures. I’ve seen snakes writhing on the pavement. No weapon nearby so I could finish the job to get them out of their pain.

Gave a quick run through of the newer posts. Don’t know what I can add except I believe Mackenzie.
In one of my earliest posts, I wrote about what can happen when one puts “spirits” inside one’s body. I wrote that in many cultures, it is widely believed that the “spirits” take over, and the real persona of the human is relegated to the background. And that the spirit directs the body of its host as to what to do.
If I’m not mistaken, it is also in the bible.

Well, I’ll return tomorrow. Hope you are faring well up there now that the dark is arriving earlier and earlier.

    @Alif:
Alife … go to the Forum. I’ve created a topic there for discussing these kinds of things. It’s too hard to get back to this place because it is now in the archive section! I’ve named the topic … um … Social Issues. I like that! Hope you don’t mind, but I’ve copied and pasted a few of our recent posts to sort of give a background on what we’re discussing! My memory has been slipping since my daughter was born. I’m pretty sure that babies eat their mothers’ brains while Mama is pregnant! I used to have a mind like a steel trap. Now, more like a steel sieve! LOL

    Good morning .
I have something to say, about aloe Vera, something about which you wrote above, about health and personal care… For a long time, I and my friend use the products of the forever living products. We always see the nice results and also we make money for our families and we are happy. My friend works with aloevera in the company of forever living has more than 5 years (My friend works ONLY in the Forever Living and has a wife and three children). I know aloevera products for nutritional for a long time, but a year ago, began working as a distributor in the FLP.
Of course, this job is so hard, but in no other case, You really can earn so much much money with so much much fun and smiling faces around..
So if you want to discuss something about your article, and about my experience with Aloe vera products for health, I’ll always be glad to talk.

Best regards from Washington and have a nice day!
