ReplyI’m a little frenchie and I’m wondering if Angelina and Brad are planning to return in France this summer. Are they still together ? And what about this lugubrous idea she has to share with Brad her last “domicile”, in a cimetiry ?
In one way it’s good to see them treating those kids……like kids! On the other hand, it’s just more photo ops; how many photographers stake out MickeyD’s to be on the alert for A-List Celebs? Geeze Angie, smarten up girl
ReplyAs to that questioned photo of the child behind Brad in the SUV, someone mentioned that it looked more like a reflection in the door frame, so i blew up the photo x3, and although grainey, one could see it is indeed a reflection in the door frame around the window, and not from the glass or inside the vehicle. Must be a very surprised MickeyD’s attendant….
ReplyHey Patty, the link to the article is underlining what Ted C said yesterday, that the marriage is working and they are fine, so is that the reason for this blog entry, because there had to be a reason for linking that story? Are they back together now? Is that the message behind this?
ReplyGood question – i still can’t see Brangelina going to a drive through MIckeyD’s to buy an SUV full of Happy Meals though. It’s more their style to send an assistant out to pick some up and avoid the paps. Yep, these two trips thru the drive-thru were set up publicity opportunities imo. They are not together imo, how could they be? What decent person would want to be intimate with someone such as each of them are now? Brad dirty, smells of body odor and beer pouring through each and every pore of his body? Angie back to doing heroin as reported immediately after giving birth to twins ( if indeed she did) They are two messes who are together to serve the other’s purposes, not to make a big, happy, normal family. This way she can get high as a kite, and not be out in the open with it, as can Brad nail any female/male he wishes and know no one will say a word because they are The Brand….hope it blows up soon

Even after the first flush of romance, he still was overly affectionate and loving toward his wife, with angie, he just treats her as if she’s another hanger on
I do notice that Ian posted the picture of AJ when she had supposedly spent the twins birthday alone at the hotel her mother lived in. It will be interested to see how these two are going to act after Ian’s book comes out.

ReplyI agree they are totally done. But to make that known publically would mean risking some of the bounty they have accumulated by creating the image “The Brand”. They want “it all”…i can’t wait until they crash and burn, which i do believe is coming sooner rather than later.

ReplyYou know, I never got the whole “brand” thing. IMO, it hurts them more than helps them but apparently not everyone feels that way. They are now mega famous because of their “brand” and I guess that’s what is keeping them together as you mentioned. I personally think their popularity (both of theirs) would shoot up a bit if they did break up.

ReplyActually, if you look back on it now, becoming the publicity driven Brange did more harm than good. It made them appear to have false , inflated egos of self-worth, made them targets for any bad press, and exposed them as B-list actors rather than the previously believed A-listers based upon the failure of all their films since getting together in such an insulting manner (W in-our-face married Brad and single Angie with a chyt-pot of kids photo). They made the huge mistake of falling for their own publicity lies and now are paying the price for that. Trying to convince the paying movie going public that they are just one of us in order to get better ticket sales, and higher ratings of their films in order to remain A-Listers just won’t work now; it’s way too late.
brad pitt has now stated in his interview that he is thinking of leaving the acting to the younger actors and maybe that means he is going to become a director I HOPE NOT, can you imagen of all the long movies with all the talking and long sunrises for 3 hrs and no action. maybe him an jolie are going to retire to france and adopt or open a orphanage behind those hight walls and then we will not have to see them or hear from them again. (wishfull thinking much). it looks like all the breakup stories where false and they are going to stick it out for longer. welcome back mana san glad you are back.

ReplyYano, that could very well be the reason for the frantic movie making by both for the past few years; amass all the cash and property they can, retire and produce or direct ( Brad does have Plan B Production Company after all) and then they can move around the world constantly to all their many homes and laugh at the stupidity of HW is financing them….wouldn’t be surprised one bit. Especially with the decadant life style of both; loose sex, heroin, etc…..hummmm

Not only did I notice Diane’s choice of dress but I also noticed that both Brad and Diane were dressed in lighter colors while the rest of the cast was dressed in black. I don’t think that was by accident but not sure why they done that. I don’t believe there is anything going on between Brad and Diane but it is funny.

ReplyI don’t either , from what I gathered in the gossip plane, is that Diane K. is a very nice and intelligent gal. I do however believe it was not a happenstance that she choose the dress color and make-up. Maybe she just wanted to show the tramp, what dress up is suppose to look like.

Re McD’s. Someone mentioned to me that maybe this is the weekend handoff for visitation between them. Since it was twice in 6 days the numbers for a weekend Dad would add up, this gives them the opportunity to be photographed without actually having to be together longer then it takes to hand the kids back to the other .

There are quite a few articles of him calling her “irresponsible, and the other day her having a difficult time landing her plane with the girls in tow. I think X17 has the pic’s and story. More outlets should pick this up.

I too agree with your thinking that it’s a form of blackmail against Brad; leave me and see what they have to deal with? The only child i feel Angie truely feels any emotion as close to love as she is capable of feeling is….Maddox, and it’s definately not a healthy momma love either imo. ReplyInTouch magazine had reported they had a huge fight the morning of the twin’s b/d. Brad is supposed to have stormed out and gone to Europe i believe. It was reported that Angie went to the same hotel that her late mother, Marcia Lynne aka Marceline, lived in till she died , and spent the night there….alone.
Also, while doing the Angie flying search on DListed, one of the many articles that came up concerned the twins and their supposed illness; unable to digest any foods, especially Knox, and Viv’s extreme allergic reactions to her environment. Those were the reasons given for why they aren’t paraded for photo ops as all the others were. TedC did make reference to Ferocity (angie) only giving up heroin for a baby, then going back on it immediately….i wonder if that would be the cause of such severe reactions in newborns? just guessing here
ReplyThey always feed their kids crap. There have been so many stories about how she doesn’t cook and that their diets consist of a lot of junk food. How many times have they been photographed with cheetos? Her love for the junk (as in food, not heroin) is well known.

Hi Mama San, welcome back, we have missed you! Yes Ian does do well in interviews doesn’t he? I didn’t think I would be that interested in MJ myself but his book has some very things in it that I was never aware of, so I am glad I bought it. I agree though, not much else to talk about on the blog as far as Michael is concerned unless you are really passionate about what is about to follow, and some will be.
In Touch says that they are co-parenting and that sounds closer to the truth to me. I don’t believe that anything is working, he looks to happy when he is away from her for that to be true. The buzz around is that they are done, just looking for the right time to split publicly. They don’t sleep together anymore or even in the same room. jmo We having been hearing that for a long long time though, and the longer they keep up this facade the worse they make it for themselves and the kids, at least it would seem. On the other hand, some couples keep their relationship on the downlow for a year before anyone knows they are dating, I guess timing really is everything, but let’s be realistic, Brad is not going to be nominated for anything. SO- What does it matter?
ReplyIsn’t IAN’s Brangelina Book due out sometime in Octobeer? That is one read i’m really looking forward to. Even if some of what’s already been posted is included, it would be nice to have it all together in one book where one can look it over in a more cohesive manner, thus clearify theories. ReplyMy cousins live in FL as well, and my aunt wanted me to visit with her and my niece in July. I was like “no thank you”. I was in FL for their wedding a couple of years ago a week or so past Memorial Day and thought I was going to die. In July? I’d melt into a puddle or spontaneously combust…I’m not going to find out which option. Plus, they live on the gulf side, somewhat inland and the bugs were insane. PS. I hate fire ants, those suckers hurt.

Hubby is into fishing big time! He has two bass boats for the lakes and tournament fishing, and one for deep sea fishing when we go out for a weekend after grouper, redfish….Florida is great! Two hot months compared to six with ice , snow and freezing temps…then it’s heaven the rest of the year round….you should go visit with your relative, and when you do be sure to visit Disney World, and St. Augustine on the northern Eastern Coast.

Fluoride toothpaste huh? I love local secrets! My old boss schooled me in Chiggers. I had a bottle of clear polish with me wherever I went that week. And I was constantly yelling at my niece and nephew not to go near any holes or stick their hand or a stick down them.
I love fishing! I was actually fly fishing (or making the attempt) all last weekend in the High Sierra. I’ve been deep sea fishing in Mexico and tried to convince my family to go out in the Gulf when we were there, but to no avail. The last time I went in Mexico though, I was fine on the boat, but when I got back to land I was ill. The ground kept moving up and down and I was miserable. It was gone by the next day, but damn, I was not a happy camper that evening. Every year my family in Nor Cal go far up north to Salmon Fish and that is always a guaranteed good time. I have many a picture of me with a huge fish.
I’ve been to Disneyworld and Epcott. I liked Epcott better. I will go back to FL eventually. I think my aunt and uncle might relocate down there to be closer to the grandkids and my cousin. Its just too much for me to be down there with four kids under the age of 8. I’m not equipped to deal with the ensuing madness. I want to muzzle them by day three.

ReplyYes, you were out to sea more than a day, which takes away your “land legs”….when you come in again, it’s hell trying to walk without stumbling like you’re drunk or worse..haha. I too love Epcot, and Universal Studio. But the kid in me can’t resist the Haunted House and the Pirates of the Carabean rides. Amazing the entire Disney World is built of actual house sized structures….nothing is amusement park about any of it….loved Liberty Square, and of course the Midnight Electric Light Parade!
Never been to Mexico. My son’s graduating class went to Cabo for Senior Trip, but that’s been it. I figured if anything happened, we could be there before too long in the big boat….momma’s worry

It made for a romantic image: Jennifer Aniston meeting with Bradley Cooper for a Washington D.C. rendezvous as a follow-up to their “just friends” New York dinner in June in New York.
Only one problem.
“It didn’t happen, they were not there together,” says a rep for Cooper, 34, throwing cold water on the Capitol hookup reports that have circulated online. “Bradley was there on a stop-over from his USO tour.”
Cooper isn’t the only one busy denying a romance with Aniston, 40. Her costar in The Bounty, Gerard Butler, 39, recently blasted such rumors, calling them “just annoying.”

Replyyes, i read that interview, thought it was a great one, very candid and non-pretentious of Jennifer, but then that’s what people love about her, nothing phony, but a real girl next door sort of g/f. Show’s a natural looking Angie as a young child, however the times given don’t make sense. Says Angie made it in 1982 when she was four years old. Which would make her now 31, and she’s 33 ??

Was looking at a recent edition of Grazia mag in the docs waiting room today and there was the most hilarious article about Ange’s appearance at Cannes. They picked 2 particularly clear photos of her face which made it more clear why she looked so weird. It is quite clear that her face has been botoxed to within an inch of its life, it was so full of the stuff it looked swollen (just as Nicole Kidman and Kylie Minogue’s faces have looked in recent years). She also looked so thin she could have been seriously ill. There was a pic in a free paper today of Lindsay Lohan looking exactly the same. Wonder why that might be?! But the botox overload I think was deinfitelty becuase she is so thin she has lost all the fat in her face. If she gained weight she wouldn’t need to use it so much I wouldn’t have thought. Hilairous thing was the article was clearly from her PR team trying to convince us that the reason for the strange appearance of her skin was because she was using some bizarre spiked instrument which was supposed to make the pores bleed and make the skin look youthful. Apparently Ange uses it because she “doesn’t want to have plastic surgery”!!!! Gave me the best laugh I’ve had in ages.

I think the recent split of the UK’s answer to Brangelina, Katie and Peter, tells you a lot about how these games work. There was a very good article in Now magazine about it – Now mag does occasionally write genuine stories rather than total PR BS like OK, Hello etc. Said there was an agreed timetable for the announcement of the split agreed by their PR people, but he got pissed off with it and announced it sooner (either that or he timed it to help promote his album who knows?). Brangelina will also be on an agreed schedule, unless one of them decides to break ranks. I think they both have too much to lose to do so though. Think they are both trying to exit from it with as much of their career and status intact as they can. I don’t think we’ll be seeing any dirty tricks, at least, no overt ones anyway!

I think it would show numerous small surgeries….eye lid reduction to get rid of her earlier heavy under eyebrow skin hanging on the upper eyelid, thus giving her the new deep set eye appearance; ears pinned back to look sleaker; the nose is a definate PS job x ? to get it so different in such small steps such as raise the sunken bridge higher, make the tip more refined and less wide and bulbous, oh yes, definately the nose. Eyebrow lift do you think? would have to be to give that cat eye look, that and the ear tacking surgeries….could think of lots more by those photos…thanks for that post

ReplyI just got off the phone with Cory Allen, Daniel Edwards spokesman. Very nice man, had a real good conversation. He informed me that this sculpture based on Edwards previous work, {Brittney Spears on a bear rug}. Is his attempt to bring breadfeeding “out of the closet” and to remove the stigma.
Apparently he {Edwards}knows both Brad and Angie{so what}, anyway., and respects Brad contribution to N.O Katrina victims.
No , neither was contacted for their “blessing” regarding this statue, and apparently they were not in the know, this was done specifically to cause controversy. I brought up to Mr. Allen that a better example could have been used, and that the controversy may overshadow what message they want to promote.
He also informed me that there are other pieces to be shown, and that to stay on “good terms” with the La leche League, Salma was not used because LLL does not advocate “wet nursing”.
I got his email he let me know that he will send me updates and showings dates and times for the auction and where and when these pieces will be shown. Never one to let a sleeping dog lie, I called LLL myself in Oaklahoma City, OK to express my personal disgust at the possibility of them advocating this work of {shit} art.
Allegedly Edwards also made a sculpture of “Suri’s poop”.
Whatever, I still don’t agree but art is controversal, I’m just tired of the “selling out” part.
Cory informed me that he would pass along my opinion to Daniel Edwards , I told him that I thought Salma had nicer boobs anyday over Jolie, he agreed.
The guy sounded sincere and he called me back faster than greased lightening. Never forget peepes we do have a voice and if something ain’t right call it out, you maybe surprised.

Ok, Patty Anne might need to help me out as well as she has seen the movie.
It is a mystery/horror/vampire book, but in the end, it boils down to a story about growing up and into yourself. I’m not sure exactly why I liked it so much. I liked the fact that it was nothing like Twilight. There really isn’t any romance to speak of and by the third chapter I had a pretty good idea of how things would wrap up, but that didn’t deter me from finishing. I wanted to know how and why what I thought was going to happen did happen. The book was written with great suspense and it was just well written. I didn’t feel at any point like I had lost IQ points while reading it. There are multiple characters whose story lines all intersect as the vampire touches all their lives. Almost every book I have read that deal with vampires go into great depth about how lonely of an existance being a vampire is because they live and the rest of us grow old and die. Each vampire hates their life because it never ends. At the center of the book is the 12 yr old named Oskar who is searching for acceptance just like Eli (the vampire). They have found something in each other that was lacking in their lives and become best friends. Oskar was always being bullied at school, didn’t have any friends, was terribly lonely, and then he meets Eli who herself is in need of a friend and some semblance of humanity because there has been such a great void of humanity in her life. She hates that she is a vampire and the fact that she has to drink blood, but because of their bond, she doesn’t hurt him even though there are times when it is all she can do not to kill him and drink him up…

ReplyThanks Astro, seems all the media is recycling that same interview from back when Brad did Burn After Reading. He was starting to promote CCOBB and it went with the current theme of the movie. I bet I heard him say that in just about every interview he did, and I have seen this already by three different news outlets, but they all are pulling it from somewhere else, some even admitting where they got it and when he gave the interview. I doubt he is allowing any real interviews these days, other that a few fluff questions from the German tab. He seems to use them quite a bit.

It’s by Terry Goodkind and it’s the Sword of Truth series{Legend of the Seeker, TV series is based on these books}. I was not a big fan of Fantasy until I read these books. I was hooked from the get go. Richly textured , colorful charecters, vivid and engaging story-line, of good vs. evil, wizards, sorcerers, Mother Confessors, gars and witches. 12 books in all, but I tell you I could not put them down ,had to read the books through.
I am over the vampire per say phase too, but True Blood is really an awesome show, that I would suggest over the books that they are based on.

ReplyFantasy and me just dont mix too well! I usually just end up laughing because I cant take it serious – exceptions to me are science fiction (up to a point) but I just have trouble with fantasy! One reason I like the Jack Whte series re King Arthur lengend was he took the fantasy of King Arthur, Merlin etc and put them all in real situations and he had natural phenomena explanations for the myths (for example – people considered Merlin a Magician because he could be in two places at once – Whtye’s interesting explanation was that Merlin had a twin – an intriguing idea and certainly possible). I will look into the books you mention but dont be offended if I dont get gung ho about them – give me historical fiction with facts and real people and entwine a story around them – that I can get into with gusto. But I will look up the books you have mentioned since you have mentioned them so heartily!

I am getting ready to read Kurt Vonnegut’s “Breakfast of Champions”, I still have to read the top 100 books of the 21 century , my dad and I have a running bet, he’s almost through with the list. I got about 65 that I have read. I was supposed to read “I, Claudius”, it’s just not my kind of book.

ReplyI would love to read what others say about books and movies – as to my doing reviews about some books – I might try it but dont promise anything. I dont know if you saw on a different thread where I mentioned to you and Tamara (and anyone else interested of course) that there is the historicalnovelsociety.org – I am a member and keep forgetting to mention it. They publish a long “newsletter” every three months which is broken down into the centuries and areas of the world and give little recaps of books and little critiques of same. They also publish a magazine which interviews famous historical novel authors. You get both the large and long newsletter and the magazine for an annual fee of about $50 per year. Not trying to sell anything but was not sure if you had seen the post wherein I mentioned it some time back!

ReplyIf you watch the TV mini-series called I, Claudius – it is fascinating and brings the book to life. It is a soap opera in ancient rome with people and events that really happened. (I have watched it many times whereas I found the actualy book rather dull.) I know ancient rome is not everyone’s cup of tea (puts my sweet hubby right to sleep as soon as I start talking about it!) but the people and places are real and that is part of the interest for me!

ReplyI find the Crusades extremely depressing (except for the Templars and Saladin) – I dont know exactly why – possibly the hypocrisy and the idea of evangelizing the entire area. Such horrible things were done (on both sides but more so by the christians). Anyway, I wont get started in that area. But I will look up the series of books you mention!

Robert Jordan wrote an awesome series of books called the Wheel of Time. Unfortunately, he DIED before the last book was finished. (How ironic is that???) Now his widow is working with a writer Jordan himself chose to finish the last book. Still, it is a huge, epic story with extensive history of a non-existent world! If anyone out there likes fantasy books and hasn’t heard of or read these books, GO FOR IT!

ReplyOh, most DEFINITELY there will be a final book! It is being written as we sit around chatting! I check Robert Jordan’s website from time to time to follow the progress. Don’t tell your hubby and SURPRISE him. He will love you even MORE for it! LOL I’ll let you know the expected release date. There are a LOT of devoted R. Jordan fans out there who are patiently awaiting this with LOTS of love and understanding. Jordan had the entire story and ending outlined. And his wife was his editor … she knows the story and characters well. Jordan chose a writer he trusted so it will be true to form. I started reading the books in the early 1990’s and have ALL of them in hardcover. I just can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Wrinkles, grey hairs{ they can sprout overnight}. I for one can relate, having gone through a wicked divorce a few years back I literally gave myself 10 grey hairs in two days. Dark circles, tremors, high blood pressure, insomnia, sleepwalking, bedwetting, nightmares, seizures,weight loss&gain,aggressive behavior, emotional outbursts, just to name a few, besides aging overnight.
I would not be surprised if Shiloh or the other kids in this family or the two numb nuts are or have suffered some of theses symptoms.

As to the fantasy books…I just never got into them. I know I should give them another chance, but I just haven’t. I have visions of Renaissance fairs (which is dumb because I actually really like them due to the beer and turkey legs…I’m a cheap date), but there was something that I couldn’t latch onto for whatever reason.
If you like fantasy please try “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss. I know I’m pretty much prostituting that book today, but it is great. Soooo good. I want to spread the greatness that is this book!

On when he’ll marry Angelina Jolie: “I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely. When someone asked me why Angie and I don’t get married, I replied, ‘Maybe we’ll get married when it’s legal for everyone else.’ I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it–hate mail from religious groups. “Man, I resent people telling others how to live! It drives me mental! Just the other night, I heard this TV reverend say that Angie and I were setting a bad example because we were living out of wedlock, and people should not be duped by us! It made me laugh. What damn right does anyone have to tell someone else how to live if they’re not hurting anyone? How many times do you think real love comes to someone in a lifetime? If you’re lucky, maybe two or three.”

“Do you know how you tell real love? It’s when someone else’s interest trumps your own. I like to put it that way: trumps your own. Love of somebody else–of family, of your kids–becomes the most important, most worthwhile thing in your life. It’s what you foster and protect. You have to recognize real love when it’s there and know that in going after it there is always risk. To live with love, you have to chance losing it. That’s also true when you decide to have kids. It’s the risk you take for love.”

Lessons learned.
“As I’ve gotten older I’ve become aware that time is fleeting. I don’t want to waste whatever I have left. I want to spend it with the people I love, and I want to do things that really mean something.”
Admitting his fears.
“Angie’s mom died a couple of years ago of cancer. I haven’t had to face a lot of death. I’m untried in that way, and I don’t know how I will deal with it. My real fear at this point is the safety and health of Angie and the kids. The fear of losing them is what keeps me up at night.”
Owning up to his biggest role.
“I don’t know who or what is meant to be in my life, but this is certainly where I want to be. Here with them. I think this is the pinnacle. Even as I’m bound to this thing, in a way I’m freer than I’ve ever been.”
Becoming a family man.
“My life has been about big changes. It’s always been that way. When I go down a path, I take it to the end. Then I take another one. I took the path of not having kids–now it’s time for family. Children are a dominant value in my life now, and they weren’t before. They were always something I thought I’d get around to having when the time was right. It wasn’t what I was really seeking. In a way, I think I had to go and exhaust me before I could be good at being a parent. This family is full of life! There are laughs, aggravations, irritations, but at the end of the day, it’s fun. When life is really good, it’s messy.”

“I liked to smoke a bit of grass at the time, and I became very sheltered. Then I got bored. I was turning into a damn doughnut, really. So I moved as far away from that as I could. I was done. In Missouri, where I come from, we don’t talk about what we do–we just do it. If we talk about it, it’s seen as bragging.”
Building his dream house.
“This was my first architectural experience where I tried doing something myself. It is something I wanted to do for decades. This is like play to me. It’s the only thing that can take me away from any problems I may have. After a few years of work, it came out so nice. Now I’ve got so many damn kids, it’s the only place we could all fit in. We’re double-bunking rooms as it is.”

After 6 months of riddles and hearing that they are married, and had it annulled, and that they are no longer together, and just putting up a front, and now for the first time Brad comes out and makes a strong statement like this, I really do wish IAN would take a moment and comment on this interview that Brad has given. This is a direct contradiction to everything that has been said pretty much, and while I suspect it may be damage control, it would be nice to hear something substancial from IAN on this . I noticed he did not say Angelina was his soul mate or that she was the one that gave him the love in his live, but he does still indicate he would marry her, and that they are together.

Funny thing is Jolie herself stated that she could not do the “football hold” as this sculpture depicts, and as a matter of fact soon after the infamous “W” cover she quit{alledgely} breastfeeding altogether, because…..she was tired and did not have the time.

ReplySeriously, because we support IAN, and we have sat our butts here for all this time, it would just be nice gesture. It does not matter what Brad’s actions show, just because it appears they may be done, they could just as easily be together and fighting all the time. Were they ever married? They are referred to as married all the time, they never correct it. I remember questioning IAN on the annulment of that marriage and that was suppose to be when a souce was saw Brad taking papers to the set of Salt. IAN was sure they had the marriage annulled.
Now after reading Unmasked, I will say he is very thorough, and he double checks his sources, and I don’t anything will make it into his book he can not back up, but how much of that is what we disussed here?
It just is starting for feel like we are , well I know you guys know what I mean. I don’t have to say it.

ReplyTo Keane – in case you return to this site after your birthday partying – I read a quickie article today that says Britain is thinking about setting up 20,000 families with 24/7 cameras in the house so “they” (Big Brother) can watch these particular families to make sure the kids get sent to school, there is no drug use and no other “sins”. ReplyI read today that his son says that Ryan gave him cocaine when he was eleven years old, and that he constantly cheated on Farrah, that she was not a huge love of his life, but that at the end, he catered to her every wish hoping to be a major player in her will. They recently implemented the cameras to catch red-light runners in SF and they have totally useless cameras in high crime neighborhoods in SF but once again, it looks like Great Britain is on the cutting edge of a new wave soon to hit our Nanny-Government in America! Hi Astro, I would agree , when six children are involved, it is definitely not the time for a break-up. I don’t see where People says that, but maybe I did not read it carefully.
He is making a point of pushing family life right now, and at the same time talks about not being sure of not being sure of who he wants to be with. He does not say she is his soulmate either. There are still rumors floating all around LA that they are not together as a couple, but only as parents, and in not other capacity. I have no idea if that is true, but that has not gone away. To add pressure to that is Quentin .
Last week in Toronto IB was received fairly well, but it was expected to be, why not, there is a heavy French-German population there. Will it do as well here in the US? QT did not cut the film down as rumored at all. He just dumped it out like a bucket of puzzle pieces and took out the ones he did not like and added in some that were not there. It is still just as long as it was. We saw what 2 plus hours did to Jesse James for Mr Pitt. Quentin’s last couple of films have not done well, so people either hate him or love him. In addition to that, it is not a summer action flick despite the way it is being marketed. From those who have reviewed it they say it is a very talky film with intense violence thrown in. They need a very strong opening for this film to do well, and it needs to remain strong for a few weeks.
Why am I pointing this out to you? Because this is what Public Relations is all about. Brad has an obligation to be part of selling this movie and by doing that he has to sell himself. This is a guys flick. Probably will draw some women, but certainly not as many as men. He actually needs these guys who think the mother of his children is hot, to go see his film. If you were to go back and read some of the interviews he did with Jen just 8 weeks before they announced they were seperating, you would understand what I am talking about. He lied straigt to the camera, and to the reporter, with his arm arm around her waist.

on it being the right time for kids- “so you never wanted children with Jen, why did you say you did in every interview, and when you split, why did you not defend her then with this admission?”

His indignation only shows to me, that deep down he knows that the public at large ain’t buying it, it is a desperate attempt, and IMO his self-righteous indignation is hilarious. He knows people ain’t buying his lady love’s line of shit. Getting pissed in an interview at this late in the “game”, is basically …too late and a bad PR move.

ReplyI have preached to anyone who would listen to me for years that it is unfair for someone to be able to make a charge against another with no legal determent to lying. If a person was held legally accountable for what they charge, more liars would think twice. The innocent person being accused must pony up enormous amounts of money to fight the charge, while the person making false accusations has no penalty at all…..where is the justice in this? Oops! I lied!…and just walk off …free. meanwhile a person’s life is destroyed. I wittnessed this happening to a very dear neighbor. He lost everything to prove his innocence. He was convicted. Brad is not intelligent enough to remember his ever changing truth day to day. He is an actor who lives his life acting like a person. Nothing he says/does is real. His children will grow up thinking that lying is normal and acceptable. His daughters will grow up believing that morality is a non-issue , personal satisfaction is what is more important. Who knows what will become of them, but for Shiloh i predict much trouble in her life. She will suffer lack of self esteme issues throughout her life, and look for love in much the way her mother has. I worry so much for them all. In IAN’s book “Unmasked” he does not reveal hardly any sources because they had to sign confidentiality contracts. The subject matter for this book doesn’t really affect that too much because of the discription of who the souce is, but I can see how if that is the case with the Brange book, no one will believe it. He was in touch with high up aides in Michaels camp, and he is making a film to back it up.

The children will never lead any semblance of a normal life. For them to “act” as if they are, is in their reality “normal”. They , JMO are grooming their children to be shallow, promiscous, sexual confused, unstable, and emotional stunted teenagers and adults,least of all having entitlement , over-indulgement, sadistic, and self-destructive attitude and behaviors ..JUST LIKE THEIR MOTHER. Regardless of Ms. Wholie’s carefree, and careless example of a lifestyle she is setting for her kids, she is the dominant figure, and it’s her not him that the children are starved for a healthy , nurturing , loving relationship with their mother.. and shame on her for using that against her children and pitting them against each other to vie for her sick attention.
These kids are in danger of becoming exactly what their parents are truly doing behind closed doors, not the public ” perfetc family” that is being forced fed by them unto us. Children are not only sponges but they are also mirrirs of what we the parents are. Just like parrots, children re-enact what their parents do , what they see, it is how they learn. If you otice the recent pic’ sof Ms. Wholie and Mad, he is mirroring his mom, her facial expressions, clothing{glasses} , walk etc. , and I’m quite sure HER attitude as well ,he’s her “little man” so to speak. I think Ian has forgotten how powerful word of mouth can be, we are his free adverstising. He talks about his blog in Unmasked, what do you think all those people will think when they come on here to read the regulars talking about being totally duped by Ian? How lame is an article about french fries that was posted almost 2 weeks after it came out? I am not sending out a missive to Ian to respond, he never does and it makes us look childish. This is just how I feel about him right now and that’s why I don’t really post here anymore. He had a good thing going, and right now that is the operative word: going!! IMO

ReplyLook, I still have a lot of respect for Ian, I understand he’s busy promoting his book, but I’m not a child, and I won’t be placated like one with a story about how many grams of fat are in a large fry. I want him to come on here and tell the truth! He is too busy with Unmasked, that is something I can understand. It was the McD’s post that really upset me. I was happier with the MJ articles because that is coming from a truthful place, that is what he’s all about right now and I respect that. I just think that if his Brange sources are now backing down, if he is under a gag order, if he is saving his best news for the book, then just tell us that! Those are things we can totally understand, and I would respect him for that. It isn’t rocket science. It just annoys me that he thinks he can placate us with this lame story and that we won’t react to it! I still plan on buying the Brange book, I totally plan to discuss it on this board, but right now, if he wants us to talk about fat grams then NO NO NO!! I also think that if I don’t like this board right now that I shouldn’t be here, I’m not going to come on here on a regular basis and just bash Ian, Im just not going to come on until there is something to talk about, that’s all!! I have ordered it and it is waiting for me on my kindle – as soon as I finish the book currently being read (am reading slower than usual this week as not feeling too good), then maybe that will be the next one! ReplyCover story of the UK National Enquirer today was “Is Jen having Brad’s baby?” – this was apparently Ange’s “angry accusation” to Brad. Could be her PR though I guess, stir the triangle up again, use Jen as the scapegoat, get sympathy yada yada yada. If these people were together they would have no need for all this desperate PR. I think the pitt bull would have more chance with Brad these days, and we all know Brad was no fan of him! Was just wondering whether they will delay the announcement of the split until after Ian’s book? If they did it before everyone will think he must be right. I think they’re going to try to delay it until quite a while afterwards, it’s the only way to protect themselves against people believing all Ian’s revelations IMO. Will be interesting to see how it plays out!

Well that would certainly support the “Insider” running around spouting that Brad and Jen are back together and plan to make a public appearance in the fall. I don’t believe it. As far as delaying the split untl after IAN’s book, he would have to delay by at least a year for it to have any real positive effect. I think he will try to attack IAN”s credibiltiy before the book comes out with everything he can. That is how they handled Mickey Brett.
Tamara, I understand what you are saying, it is a bit disconcerting to have people going around the internet speading that we are the subject of IAN’s book. It makes everyone afraid to post here anymore.

She is positively glowing with happiness, as has been noted in the press. Some even speculated she was preparing to become a single mother. IMO, something major has occured in Jennifer’s life that has her on cloud nine, and it’s consistant.

This is a perfect illustration of the frustration. Most of us love movies and books. We thank heavens for the terrific entertainment that we find in these venues. We are grateful for the fun and pleasure derived from watching films and reading books. I can probably quote huge parts out of a lot of movies. LOVE THEM!!!!!! When some reallly stupid people insist on telling us what reality is and that what we see is not one thing, yet another, it is irritating. We just came to be entertained. Not for a rubbish pile. Truly. hat is why people aren’t looking to rip George Clooney to shreds and discover his innermost personal life. Why? because he seems a decent fellow that we all wish well. Very simple and yet some stars insist to constantly over complicate things. Pity.

If anyone other than Johnny Depp is cast, I think I will cry. Some things you just don’t mess with and Harvey is #1 on that list. He’ll probably put Tom Hanks in it. I am looking forward to the book. Only one thing got me thinking, why is Jennifer mentioned in the book. Is it because it brings the most pr and money because of the triangle. Can nobody leave her out of this insane triangle.
So from what i read on this site, it is going to be that she knew he was cheating with angelina for 18 months, she wanted out of the marriage and this was her way, she didn’t wanted to have sex with him, she is gay/bi.
So who is going to hurt the most by this book when the above is mentioned. Brangie or Jen. I think Jen because everyone allready knows that he cheated on her by the comments made by Angelina last time “i couldn’t get to wait to get to work” and “our kids get to see where there parents fall in love”.
Mark my words that the most attention will go to the part about the marriage ending from brad and jen.
I don’t think the following will happen but it could (i think jen says nothing about it when asked)
ReplyWhen he has sources who are saying this and nothing concreed it is also a risk that he included this because if jen says anything about this book when asked and she says it is all bullshit he can trow the book away. Then you can say but he has proof, i thnk that people believe jen over IUC so it wil not matter. IMO
P.S. and I’ll hush – I think Bradley Cooper is adorable. Not as adorable as John Cusack (yum)…thank you very much, but adorable none the less. I look forward to any and all shows that he’s in. He seems a decent sort.

ReplyI agree with that Re, but IAN will not be unfair to Jen in the book , he likes Jen. His goal is to get Brad outed and to make people see what a liar he is, not Jen. Now he revealed a long time ago that she knew for 18 months and did nothing and that Brad got involved with Jolie for the reason you stated, but that was a while back. We do not know if IAN has since then gotten her side of things to add to it. If you have ever read any of his books you would understand that he always goes back and forth telling how he first thought this and why, how he followed that lead, then what changed his mind, and whether he thought that was credible or not. You are not going to see him do a hatchet job on Jennifer imo. The guilt does not lie on her shoudlers, regardless of the reason, he is the one still lying.

People are pointing to the quote from BP that he won’t get married until gays can marry. They’re insulted that he is so self-serving with this statement. They cite his lack of pronouncements about gay marriage when he was married to JA. So why delay any marriage now, when it didn’t stop him, then?
Consensus: He is using a popular, within show biz, movement to boost his image and gain power. He knows that some gays are entrenched in cyberspace, and will take his side from now on. He can manipulate them so easily!
Someone posted the question: Will BP stop wearing shoes because of how leather is obtained? Will he stop flying in airplanes because it harms the environment? Will he stop going to Mc Donald’s because of the slaughter of chickens, cows and pigs? etc! etc!
Also, they almost unanimously feel that he is not the brainiest star in the movie universe! (Trying to be kind, here!)
Which reminds me, I used to know some movie buff in San Francisco. This was 7 yrs ago. He happened to be a gay who could easily pass for straight. He had friends who were even more knowledgeable about Old Hollywood, than he. So, we had many conversations about this star and that starlet.
He felt BP was the best of the best in looks! I was condescending since I felt BP was more pretty than goodlooking, but put in my view that I thought BP’s light bulb was a little dim.
This “friend” in San Francisco, took me for some money, and never again answered my calls. The money wasn’t all that much, and I have since surpassed him in knowledge about Old Hollywood. Mainly, because of much research, and info being put in my lap.
Brad, it seems to me, is trying his best to resurrect the image of the old time movie actor. Trying to assume the glamour. He’s even been comparing himself to a few. But, imo, he is closer to Tommy Cruise than Clark Gable!

I’m a huge fan of Turner Classic Movies channel on tv. Especially the 1940’s mystery/comedy movies. When i’m not feeling well, i pop a DVD of one of my all time fav’s into the DVD machine, and relax with a cup of hot tea and a lap robe; always makes me feel pampered and so much better. They just don’t make them that way anymore. Tea and Sympathy was it? Tea and something, with Cary Grant…loved it! And those old time Topper movies!…awesome!@too curious:

As a Taurus married to a Leo who shares the deep love between us, i can only say the “in charge” trait of my Leo drives me nuts! But in a good way, because i can always find humor in it. He tells me the way i “dig in my heels” drives him nuts….hahaha Oh, but the making up!!! We comprimise with each other, in that we refuse to argue. When we butt heads on a major issue, we lay it on the table so to speak, walk away, thinking about it individually, and come back to it fresh the next day. Seems to work well for us. I love him with all my heart, as he does me. I”m still amazed by it. My first marriage was an Aquarius, and lasted way too long in my opinion. He was the one who told me on our 12th anniversary that marriage licenses should be like dog licenses; renewable. Arghhhh!!! DIVORCED his butt.

Yep, that’s why Ange’s “friend” leaked it to Ian. I think this is what Ange has had over Jen all this time and was the reason she never went for her publicly. It’s not that she’s an absolute saint, she just couldn’t say any more than she did for fear of reprisals. That point was also when Ian’s sources started to get majorly ropey and were all quite clearly coming from Ange’s camp or trying to gain sympathy for her IMO – “she is suicidal and I overheard her saying it in front of her SIX kids. BTW, did I mention she has SIX children already? etc”. Quite obviously a load of BS. Especially seeing as I find it pretty doubtful that any part of that statement is or was true anyway! Ian’s sources before that were anti-Ange, “Kimmy” for one. So Ange sent her “friends” out to give anti-Jen and anti-Brad stories (the kickapoo kink one for instance) to try to make up for it. I think it put a lot of people off the site too to be honest. Hopefully Ian will redress this in the book.

Lately, have been intrigued by the announcement of a movie to be made about Frank Sinatra. It’s to be directed by Martin Scorcese. We all know that MS gives the best roles to Leo.
It intrigues me because he’ll have his work cut out for him. How is Leo to assume the volatile, sexy persona of Old Blue Eyes?
Most other bloggers think Harry Connick Jr. is the best choice since he acts, and can do a very passable Sinatra singing.

Angelina has always eaten junk food and always fed it to her children. She freely admits that she can’t cook and that junk food is her whole family’s vice all the time. They’ve been pictured in fast food restaurants with them many times before. This is normal, going about their business type of behaviour for them. ReplyIs it just me or does Pitt never seem to admit that Jolie is the one? He says he has love in his life and a soulmate but never states it is indeed Jolie. He seems pretty vague. We’re left to assume that he’s talking about Jolie, but it’s vague enough that it also could be interpreted as they’ve both moved on to other people and are staying together for the “brand” and the sake of the kids (for appearances only). This is similar to the interview he gave a while back while talking to Ann Curry (the interview that showed she is flat out the head Brangeloonie). He skirted around the issue in that interview as well.

Yes, it is….I’ve actually been to Club One (the night club). Savannah is one of my favorite places. My brother went to grad school at SCAD. Very Old South and lovely; I could walk around the squares for hours. @ladybert62:
