@TobyKat:I have the degrees and have worked in social services – other posters are correct that crosscultural adoptions are not always successful – especially when they involve children of African descent. Like it or not this country is stratified along the lines of race – the pecking order is Whites, Asians, Hispanics, African Americans. Social acceptance of a cross cultural adoption also depends on where you live. With the rise of intermarriage attitudes are changing but very slowly. Just an observation from many years on college campuses, children who were mixed race or cross cultural adoptions gravitated towards the student organizations that represented their minority race. On campus they felt more comfortable with people who looked like them.

DG-With your many degrees it is humorous to me that you cannot spell. That’s pretty funny. About what I would expect from a low level social worker who gets their rocks off pontificating about shit they know nothing about. Your fellow social workers in FLA are running a child pedo ring. So how do you fit in to that picture? Where the fuck do you get off trying to tell my friend TobyKat all about inter racial adoption? . About what I would expect from a low level government employee. Please keep your childish racist views to yourself. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You sound like some kind of drone making canned and unsupported comments. Since you are so wise to the ways of inter racial adoption, why don’t you edify all of us with your wisdom concerning, say, the adoption of handicapped and special needs children and how they would gravitate to others like them, you know, to seek their own kind? You, Miss DG are a fucking racist idiot. If you would seek out your own kind (ignorant, racially and culturally insensitive twatbags), the world would be a better place. Apologies to the rest of the board. TobyKat is my dear friend. What I have watched them do for their bio AND adopted child is awe inspiring. She doesn’t need an ignorant remark from a fake “social worker” to advise her and she doesn’t need me to defend her. But I am.
