Regular people such as myself cannot even imagine how it could be for him. He was so talented and so talented. To be like that and lose it all, must be so devastating. he knew he couldn’t sing or dance like before and here are these fans screaming for you. There were grown men crying and screaming for him at the press conference for this concert series. He knew he didn’t have it and the concert people surely knew as well. a blind man could have seen it, don’t you think? Had to be pretty tough to take.

Great article IAN, I thought I heard you say that you never believed Michael to be guilty of those charges. I see now that Debbie has now admitted that Michael is not the children’s biological father, and surprising she has changed her mind about wanting custody. Wonder who got to her? Sadly those kids have a tough battle themselves ahead.

@Kate:Changed her mind to not want custody? From the article looks like the Nanny doesn’t exactly have clean hands. If Michael isn’t the biological father, this could get really messy.

Those poor kids indeed. Can there really be a non-invested party who actually cares? The nanny maybe, but let us remember Elvis. The dude was worth more dead than alive. We have no reason to believe this is any different. It is Michael Freakin Jackson for heavens sake. Without his enormous expenditures to live there is a lot of royalty money I would think. However, I don’t know a thing on this situation.

Interesting article. Lots of enablers in his life. Sad situaiton didn’t have to be this way. Agreed, greed is what caused his demise, bad doctors, friends. Those who wanted soemting from him, pushed him back into concerts he could never perform. People used him, controlled him. he was needy and vulnerable and easily manipulated. People took advantage of him, for what they could get out of him, including some members of his family.

But if your do IVF with donor sperm (and even eggs), don’t the donors relinquish any and all rights? It seems that would be SOP.

@Vittoria:I was thinking about the sperm donor. I’m not sure when CA passed the Uniform Parentage Act, I don’t think it was before 2000. Before that if a child wasn’t conceived during a marriage paternity was always in question. Parentage has gotten considerably messier in the last 10 years. An argument that her attorneys might use is that the Jacksons aren’t even biologically related to these children and that Michael apparently didn’t have much of a relationship with his family – so placing them with the biological mother would not be much different. The kids are the keys to the kingdom. It will probably take years for his estate to be settled.

well if he left 200 songs for the children, sure. I suspect he will be worth millions dead, that was his plan apparently.

I don’t know about the Nanny, and then there is the bio mom of Blanket, she could come forward, and there are those who say that MC was the sperm donar for the two older children.

I saw that too and wondered if this is the most recent since it is dated for the 28th and it is that in London I suppose but the middle of the wee hours of the morning. Why come out when the children are grieving and say, “your daddy was not your daddy” , there has to be an angle there, and to say she will never see them again, ever? She is an odd fish. I remember her intgerviews, crying, weeping, saying she was afraid for her children, she looked like she had been threatened then. Now and about face?

I wonder if IAN knows, and I am curious as to why the Daily Mail and not CNN or NBC or CBS ? CNN has a much larger audience, doesn’t it?

What I found the most interesting about the article was the fact that you think MJ was innocent and also that he was gay. I always thought he was just asexual. Why did her never just come out of the closet. Part of the reason people so readily believed the molestation charges was not only because he looked weird, but he seemed to never ever have had a genuine grown up sexual relationship in his entire 50 years.

I’d really like to know about the men he dated. And I have to believe his mother’s strict religion kept him in the closet.

Well you can read the piece from our paper.

    ——————————————————————————–

Ms Wilson said the bus pulled up in front of the gates of the mansion while photographers milled around the entrance.

“All of a sudden the gates open and out came the ambulance while paparazzi were all running and banging and trying to take photos in the back of the ambulance,” Ms Wilson said.

They managed to capture the historic moment with photographs that show Jackson’s body being taken from his home as his minders try to keep the paparazzi at bay.

Ms Battaglia said the scene became chaotic as Jackson’s staff fought to block the paparazzi from grabbing final pictures of the dying star.

Ms Wilson said passengers on the bus had no idea what they were witnessing.

“It was all happening. We weren’t sure who was in the car at that stage,” she said.

“They were just yelling out and then the ambulance took off and two black SUVs came out of the driveway and followed it.”

The women said photographers dashed to follow the ambulance.

“The paparazzi were running towards our bus saying ‘go go go’,” Ms Battaglia said.

“They got in a car and took off driving erratically, chasing the ambulance,” she said.

“I couldn’t believe what was going on. It was surreal.”

As their bus then left the scene the driver paused to speak to a local woman who sells maps to the stars’ houses.

“She was crying on the phone and bus driver stopped and said “Mary, what’s going on? Is it him?” Ms Wilson said.

“She was wailing and crying but she couldn’t talk, she just said “Yes, it’s him. It’s Michael.”

Yesterday the two women were feeling flat after their brush with celebrity death.

“Today we’re a bit sad about the whole thing,” Ms Wilson said.

The event lent a bizarre and tragic twist to a celebrity-filled day for the two Australians, who were staying at the historic Hotel Roosevelt, once home to Marilyn Monroe and Clark Cable.

Earlier that morning Ms Wilson ran into Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as they were leaving the hotel.

“That was about 10.30 in the morning. I was just walking down a corridor with no one else there and this door flicks open and there’s Brad and Angelina,” she said.

The body of Michael Jackson, who died Thursday, has been released by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Coroner Investigator Jerry McKibben says Jackson’s body was returned to the singer’s family Friday night and was moved to an undisclosed mortuary.

Jackson’s body had been kept in its own crypt at the morgue under lock so that no pictures of the body would be leaked, a source told FOX News. Such a move rarely, if ever, happens.

The source told FOX News investigators conducting the autopsy were also surprised at how healthy Jackson was.

While he wasn’t necessarily normal, he appeared to be stronger than they expected. Investigators were surprised to see significant scarring on his face, this being the first time they had seen Jackson without make-up.

He had bruises on his chest consistent with someone trying to revive him, but there were no obvious signs of a heart attack, which leads investigators to believe some sort of drug or drug combination caused either the heart to stop beating or the lungs to stop breathing.

Craig Harvey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner, said Friday there were no signs of foul play in the autopsy and further tests would be needed to determine Jackson’s cause of death.

Jackson died Thursday afternoon at the age of 50 after being rushed from the Los Angeles area mansion where he was staying to UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m.

No funeral plans have been made public.

Just read Michael Jackson’s father is demonstrating very inappropriate behaviour after his son’s passing. He is happy, joking, and no body says anything to him. No wonder he’s this way, no wonder Michael turned out as he did. Not only is Jackson’s father at fault, but all those around who witnessed it and never said, what are you doing and thinking. Your son just died and you’re here joking, laughing. Shame on you.

Joe, 79, shocked onlookers as he clowned around outside the family home in Los Angeles.

They said he looked “almost ecstatic” and “totally relaxed” as he trotted down the drive to chat to family friend the Rev Jesse Jackson who was giving TV interviews outside the house.

One fan said: “Millions are mourning around the world and he’s laughing his head off. It’s absolutely sickening.”

His bizarre performance was in total contrast to the grim appearance of the rest of Jacko’s family, including weeping mum Katherine, 79, who now have to sort out a nightmarish tangle of problems thrown up by his sudden death.

This is key, a healthy hypochondriac, given an overdose of drugs by doctors. Wonder how this doc feels, being the one who injected the drug that was most likely responsible for the end of Michael Jackson. No doubt other drugs were involved however, it is ironic that while in the care of a heart doctor, he gives him a drug unrelated to heart disease, and he dies, as Sanjay Gupta, Deepak Chopra, and his lawyer have pointed out, doctors and most likely family, friends were Michael’s enablers.

This defies logic as it is the first rule of CPR-put the patient on the floor!!!!! The cardiologist was a financially compromised TOOL. Judging by the BK filings and assorted liens against the Dr this “opportunity of a lifetime” as he called it in his resignation letter to his patients, was a chance for him to get out of debt. Of course, there was a bit of soul selling involved. Bet he never guessed that his own greed + the MJ machine would actually kill the golden goose.

Michael Jackson’s Nanny:”I Had to Pump His Stomach Many Times”
    Sunday June 28, 2009

CelebNews@Usmagazine.com! – Michael Jackson’s Nanny:”I Had to Pump His Stomach Many Times”
    ShareThis

The nanny who cared for Michael Jackson’s three children is providing new insight into the King of Pop’s battle with prescription drugs.

In an interview with The Times of London, Grace Rwaramba – who worked for Jackson for more than a decade – reveals that she had to pump Jackson’s stomach “many times” after he’d taken a dangerous combination of drugs.

“He always mixed so much of it,” Rwaramba, 42, is quoted as saying. “There was one period that it was so bad that I didn’t let the children see him. He always ate too little and mixed too much.”

Look back at Michael Jackson’s life

Distraught over Jackson’s drug use, she once proposed an intervention, contacting his mother Katherine and sister Janet for help, only to find herself fired by the King of Pop.

“He didn’t want to listen; that was one of the times he let me go,” says Rwaramba, who started out as an office assistant.

Revisit Michael Jackson’s most unforgettable moments

Rwaramba, who was last fired in December, also sheds light on Jackson’s debt (he was reportedly awash in about $400 million in debt at the time of his death).

Last April, when she visited Jackson’s children — Prince, now 12; Paris, 11; and Blanket, 7 — she had to buy balloons for Paris’ birthday because the singer was so broke.

Says Rwaramba, “Michael had no idea about money.”

See Us’ photo tribute to stars who have died too soon

On Friday, the day after Jackson died, Rwaramba says the singer’s mother Katherine called her from Michael’s rented L.A. house and asked where he kept his money. “She said, ‘Grace, the children are crying. They are asking about you. They can’t believe that their father died. Grace, you remember Michael used to hide cash at the house. I am here. Where can it be?’”

She told Katherine to look “at the garbage bags and under the carpets,” Rwaramba recalls. “She said, ‘Grace, where are you? Come. I will pick you up from the airport.’ She sounded so strong. So strong!”

Rwaramba is now meeting with Los Angeles detective investigating Jackson’s death.

You would know seeing as your my cat right? You must know everything about me seeing as you live in my basement with me (except I don’t do basements obviously, I like a view). I actually find it very interesting that The Daily Mail published a story from Ian. Looks like Brange don’t quite have the control over the media they think they do. I always say publications are only faithful to whatever is the big story at the time, not individuals. Whatever anyone may think about The Mail it has major readership; nearly 3 million people a day and very middle-England based too. It’s good for Ian and good for his future book sales. It’s not so good for Brange obviously and their inevitable attacks on Ian’s cred, which is something I’m sure they’re weeping bitter tears over right now. Shame.

I read the whole boring article. I give Ian props on a couple of points. He did an excellent job of writing for his target audience. Its a very easy to read with simple language. To assure that his points are understood, he kept circling back to reiterate them, also an oft used tactic for adding length without adding content. He makes sure to get his self promotion in the first few paragraphs before the majority of readers lose interest. He even drops a couple of names with broad accusations and insinuations late in the article as a treat for those who stick around, and incentive to keep reading the regurgitated

Well, that explains his sudden disappearance from the scene (of the crime?) There wll be an investigation into “Dr. Tohme Tohme” I guarantee it! And MJ has 200 unpublished songs for his kids! Dang, that is a fortune. Everyone in the world is going to be fighting over possession of those children – everyone! :P

Mays, 50, was on board a US Airways flight that blew out its front tires as it landed at a Tampa airport on Saturday, MyFOXTampa.com reported.

US Airways spokesman Jim Olson said that none of the 138 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises, according to the station.

Authorities have not said whether Mays’ death was related to the incident.

Probably unrelated as in no conspiracy here. I would guess post flight pulmonary embolism.

Mays had just returned from Philadelphia, where he shot a new OxiClean commercial. He was a passenger aboard a plane that suffered a blown front tire upon landing. He told a local TV station, “All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head.”

We’re told Mays was at his home around 6:00 PM last night, and according to a source Mays was “acting fine and normal … he was talking business with his father-in-law.”

Don’t get me wrong, I am hoping those kids get into a stable environment ASASP, with as little bickering over custody as possible. With that in mind, is it a good idea for these kids to be around the grandfather, who was the one that battered their father and basically started his downfall? Hm not sure what the deal is really, I’m sure it will all come out in not too long a time. It might either have been an annonymous doner or someone he knew personally, but if it was the former I’m wondering about the ethics of the doctor (for a big change). As in adoptions don’t they normally try to match the racial profile of the kids to that of the parent(s)? He must have opted to have white children in my view, again probably waving some money at someone. And as for where they’ll go now, God knows and none of the options sound good at the moment. They don’t know their bio mother well and she relinquished her rights to them for cash. The grandmother won’t have long left herself and coping with another death will not be good for them at all (I believe she is divorced from MJ’s father, but I don’t know for sure). And I think that nanny who was interviewed by the NOTW is a shady character. She’s the one with ties to the Nation of Islam who is said to exert an undue degree of influence over Michael and kept being sacked. I’m not sure about her at all. Seems like the only person who genuinely cares for the children would be the grandmother or one of MJ’s siblings but it doesn’t sound like the kids know them very well either. What a sorry, messed up life they seem to have had and probably will continue to have in the future. Sad.

Question is though, who do they actually know? From the nanny’s interview in the NOTW it seems like the only people they really know are staff. She says they had a cold and distant relationship with their father, weren’t allowed to play with other children or even had a teacher. She says they called her mum. Now from what Ian says about her she sounds like she sees them as a meal ticket to me and is the one who got the Nation of Islam involved, so she doesn’t sound like an ideal prospective surrogate parent! I would think that someone like Jermaine would be their best option but he already has about 7 kids doesn’t he? Would he add another 3 to that mix? I think the bio mother will fight it out with MJ’s family and I sincerely hope that whoever gets them in the end is in it for the right reasons and not the cash.

Sounds like mother’s in it for the cash, they know their grandmother better but she may not be deemed a suitable parent considering Michael’s upbringing, and then there’s the dubious nanny. Doesn’t sound like any of the siblings are being considered, although they sound like much the better option. Poor kids, what a depressing list of options.

@Constant Gardener:When it comes to child custody a will does not have to be followed. It’s up to the Judge to determine what’s in the best interests of the children. That said, a surviving biological parent first dibs, unless there is some compelling reason not to grant them custody, if they want it, they get it. In this case, I think Nation of Islam can kiss off getting their grubby little paws on the kids. Jesse Jackson is not going to allow that to happen.

I believe that since her parental rights were never terminated, she is considered the next of kin even though she was not the custodial parent. What a mighty battle this will be. Agreed, MJ is responsible to a large degree, but on the other hand, fame and the insecurity that was MJ, caused him to choose the friends, lifestyle he did, and the opportunists didn’t need an invite. They saw an insecure, relative simple, manipulative person who never took any responsibilty for his life or actions, waiting to be taken advantage of. They did take advantage of him, his family, friends, network of colleagues. In the end, there was little he could trust and of course, in order to change it would require work an admission of responsbilty, guilt and a plan, complete with follow through and integrity on a new path he would need to take. Michael was immature and didn’t realize, he held the key, there was no one that was going to come around and save him. On the other side of that coin, the docs are also very responsible for killing him, as they did Anna Nicole Smith, Elvis Presley, and who knows how many more. This needs to be stopped. People need to be more honest.

Sounds like many of Jackson’s friends, family, wanted money from him, so they’re not going to be honest with him. Jackson wouldnt’ want to hear honesty; particularly not in the latter years he had a fragile ego. In order to get healthy a person has to have a lot of honest people in his or her life. They need to be accountable for themselves, taking an honest look at themselves, continuously learning, understanding, changing and growing, but they also need help from others. No man is an island and you can’t do it all by yourself.

The flip side; his family could have intervened. Most people who are sick, or have addicitons, it has been the whole family that was dysfunctional. They’re usually a bunch of yes people along with an abuser. Usually when a family gets healthy by working through problems, communicating, getting help, the sick person also gets healthy – as the level of understandign and communication changes. An unhealthy drug, alcohol, sex, gambling addicted person is that way, because no one is consistently honest with them. They’re too afraid of loss and how others perceive them.

Jesse Jackson is hardly the go to guy in determining children of unknown or unclaimed parentage or who should raise said children. LOL.

If guardianship of the children is stipulated in a will, they will order as such unless to do so causes harm or risk to them. Someone would have to contest that in court that MJ’s desires for his own children be subjugated. In other words a judge can’t just say, yeah screw the will and the decedents intentions. It will have to be challenged legally. It is the executor or executrix of the will who will be expected to make these things happen obo the decedent.

@Constant Gardener:When there is another biological parent alive, it doesn’t matter what the custodial parent wants – unless the other biological parent agrees to it. Unless there is clear and compelling evidence as to why the other parent should not have custody – and not having a relationship with kids, is not compelling evidence, they get the kid. There are many, many cases where Mom has died, Dad is estranged from the children and he still gets custody.

With an addiction, sometimes you just have to GET AWAY from the dysfunction, walking away from abusive pasts and any connection to the addiction. I would imagine it would be VERY hard for MJ (or anyone with that level of worldwide celebrity) to go ANYWHERE where there wouldn’t be someone who recognizes him and takes advantage of the situation. Plus, who wants to leave EVERYONE and everything when you are rich and can get anything at your disposal? It’s just too surreal an existence, normal ways of “healing” yourself are just not practical. Yes, however, this scenario does not contemplate what arrangements and preferences MJ may have made for his children and regardless of what those turn out to be, if any, it is the duty of the court and the executor to see that the wishes of the decedent are upheld unless there is a 3rd party challenge or unless doing so breaks the law or poses a danger to the minor children. If there was no will then the laws of intestate succession for the state of CA will likely supercede. The court and the executor will be expected to uphold the wishes of the decedent’s will. They can’t do shit unless someone comes in and challenges it. I have no doubt someone will.

Yeah, that is why I am saying if MJ did not make arrangements, Debbie Rowe as the non custodial parent is next of kin bc her parental rights were not legally terminated. If he did make arrangements then she can challenge them on the basis of being next of blood kin.

I heard that he may have worked his way through quite a bit of her cash too though. Don’t know for sure, it was something someone said on here in response to one of Ian’s posts which mentioned her. They said the story that she’d worked her way through $10 million was to conceal the fact that it was her father and a friend who had siphoned it off. It sounded like a journo, as they asked to speak to Ian on or off the record (Ian was doing a book on Spears at one point I believe). Might have been a fake though, who knows.

Glad you brought that up – Britney’s father gets alot of flack in the media about the amount of money he requests for taking care of Britney. IMO, he EARNS every bit of it. Keeping the vultures at bay and taking care of a famous bipolar young daughter, keeping finances together and making sure reliable people are around his daughter, so that his daughter and grandkids will have SOMETHING someday, sounds like a job with which I’d never want to take.

The child labor laws in the entertainment industry are a joke. If you look at the child actors who have grown in adults reasonably unscathed what they had in common was that their parents were parents first, and often were not dependent on the children’s incomes to support the family.

We were the last industrialized nation to enact child labor laws and there still are not laws re:family farms. I know a few of the Jackson siblings have had issues, but we forget there were members that dropped out of the entertainment business, out of the limelight. If they are willing (and who wouldn’t be for their brother?), seems this would be the wisest choice. Reports are, they want to be with Grandma, and she could, of course, still be a major part of their lives.

I had read an interview earlier in which the closely associated with Jackson person said that Blanket is thought to be Michael’s biological son; he looks like Michael, and shows Michae’s talent for song and dance. I found that very interesting, as so many reports just blow Blanket off as unimportant. I hope someone does a DNA on the boy to verify this or it will hang over his head the rest of his life.
I’m glad to read that IAN also didn’t believe that Michael molested those boys. Michael was a child / man who longed for acceptance, and love, and unfortunately only seemed to find it from children who are so pure in their acceptance of others. As Michael said once, Children don’t find me weird, they accept me as one of them. How sad a life he lived. I hope the Jackson family has to work their tails off now to live in the manner in which they became accustomed from hand-outs from Michael

There are some tough people in this world who manipulate, use, abuse, and take from others. I feel like MJ’s rollercoaster is something many celebs have to deal with to some degree. It’s unfortunate that so many people feed into the media which pushes more and more press and demands on those who original intention was to entertain. Injunction re Guy Laliberté Bio, Maclean’s Sorry to Cirque, Michael Jackson Bio,
By Pat Donnelly 06-28-2009 COMMENTS(0) Stage and Page with Pat Donnelly

Filed under: Cirque du Soleil, Guy Laliberté, Maclean’s, Ian Halperin, Pierre Turgeon, Michael Jackson
Maclean’s magazine has apologized to the Cirque du Soleil, sort of. In last week’s edition, on page 9 (don’t blink or you’ll miss it), there’s an editor’s note that recognizes the Cirque’s complaint about the June 15, 2009 cover page, which boasted the headline: “Cirque du Soleil Sex, Drugs & Acrobats: A stunning exposé of the biggest show on earth and its billionaire founder”.

But the magazine’s carefully worded statement takes issue with the accusation that it has given ” a false, unjust and defamatory image of the company.”

The note continues: “Maclean’s does not agree with that characterization –the cover image was in fact available on the Cirque’s own website — and we recognize that the Cirque is a great Canadian creative institution. We are unabashed fans of its work. Halperin’s book is an unauthorized biography of Guy Laliberté. The excerpts of the book that were published in the magazine refer to past events and do not necessarily reflect upon the Cirque du Soleil itself as an ongoing business enterprise or on its current employees.”

Was that an apology? Well, at least it does recognize that the Cirque du Soleil, as a business, and its employees, should not have to answer for the off-duty antics (of many years ago) of its founder and owner Guy Laliberté.

(I was going to link to the full text of the editor’s note, only I couldn’t find it on the Maclean’s website. Perhaps this reflects more on my lack of technological skills than its actual absence.)

As for the unauthorized bio by Ian Halperin, titled The Fabulous Story of the Creator of the Cirque du Soleil, it’s not going to be easily located in the bookstores, as of Monday morning. (It was still available in a major downtown bookstore on Saturday.)

The Cirque du Soleil sent out a press release this weekend stating that, on Friday afternoon, it had received a “provisional injunction and safeguard order” regarding a recall on all copies of the bio published by Transit Editeur Inc.

The reason? The unauthorized use of a copyrighted Cirque du Soleil photo on the cover. See story by Jan Ravensbergen in today’s Gazette.

What a foolish mistake on the part of Transit publisher, Pierre Turgeon! Everyone knows that the Cirque guards the copyright of its images with a fervour equal to that of the Disney corporation. (Just try messing with Mickey Mouse!) The Cirque picture was picked up from the souvenir program of Alegria. This is something that no rookie newspaper editor would do. Halperin must be mightily annoyed that Turgeon let him down.

He has certainly made it clear he isn’t happy with Laliberté: See Gazette story re letter of demand.

Now Transit has to recall all unsold copies of the book and provide a new cover – for both the French and English editions. (The purloined Cirque photo stands alone on the English edition, while it accompanies a photo of Laliberté on the French edition.) Not much can be done about the 16,000 copies of the French edition and 6,000 of the English edition already sold. This weekend Guy Laliberté: La vie fabuleuse de créateur du Cirque du Soleil rated number six on the Gazette’s bestseller list for French Books.

On the positive side for Halperin and for Turgeon, as you can see from Ravensbergen’s Gazette story, their next book, an unauthorized biography of Michael Jackson, will be launched this week, by Transit. This book is titled, presciently, Michael Jackson: The Last Days. Six months ago Halperin predicted that Jackson would be dead within 6 month. As he has just boasted on his website ianundercover.com, he was only off by a day.

Since Halperin is adding an update pertaining to the star’s death, it seems likely that the English edition of the Jackson book will precede the French version into Quebec bookstores.

Now let’s hope that Turgeon has checked out the copyright of any photos used on the cover or within the Jackson book. Another blooper of this magnitude, he does not need.

Police have launched a criminal investigation into Michael Jackson’s death, it’s been revealed.

Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman has said that although the police are publicly saying that the star’s death isn’t being treated as suspicious, privately, they’ve said otherwise.

Mr Oxman said: “This is a new development, there is a criminal investigation taking place by the Los Angeles Police Deparment. This is the case. They have told the family.”

As we reported earlier today, Jacko’s personal doctor, cardiologist Dr Conrad Murray, was questioned for a second time at the weekend by LA detectives. They say he has been questioned as a witness and not a suspect.

Officers said he was co-operative and “provided information which will aid the investigation”.

Mr Oxman said that the Jackson would launch their own legal battle if police failed to charge anyone in connection with the King Of Peop’s death,

THE family of Michael Jackson yesterday ordered a second autopsy on the singer’s body before accusing his personal doctor of a cover-up.

The extraordinary move came as more allegations emerged of Jackson’s long-term addiction to painkillers, including from his children’s nanny.

“The doctor’s bizarre behaviour here is creating all these suspicions,” said Jackson family minister, the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

“They are suspicious of this doctor and they have real reason to be because any other doctor would say ‘here’s what happened in the last hour of his life and I was there. I gave him some medicine’.”

The Sun of London report painted a tragic picture of a 50-year-old man so frail he weighed only 112 pounds and whose stomach contained no food – just semidigested pills.

Several of Jackson’s ribs were broken in the frantic attempt to pump life back into his heart. Four needle wounds were near his heart, apparently from failed efforts to restart it by shooting adrenaline directly into the organ.

Jackson had lost most of his hair, and his haggard face was disfigured by 13 plastic surgeries, The Sun said.

His emaciated hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle marks, the paper said.

I see nothing wrong with kids working on the family farm. Honestly I don’t. I grew up that way, the kids I grew up with did, everyone turned out ok, no one got their eye shot out, LOL. I deal with human rights issues in countries where the US imports products. Children are slave labor in many countries for the benefit of the US consumer. I don’t see anyone stepping up to protect those children, children who aren’t milking cows or bailing hay on the family farm but who are beaten and starved so the we may all have a cheap gadget. Factories are inspected and bribed and the machine moves on. Why is there no outrage about these children?

It is being reported by the Tampa Coroner that Billy Mays died of a pulmonary embolism as predicted. I would like to take this opportunity to invite the board to make certain that you get up and move around on long flights. You do not have to be a heart patient for this to happen to you. I believe BM had no previous symptoms of heart disease. Often, by the time you have symptoms of heart disease, you are either dead, dieing or the damage has been done to your heart muscle and it cannot be undone, only managed. So please everyone, get up and walk the aisle of the plane a time or two. And make sure your annual checkup includes screening for heart disease. Heart disease and heart failure (GROWING EPIDEMIC OF HEART FAILURE IN THE UNDER 65 CROWD INCLUDING ME) are extremely debilitating and sudden cardiac death is very real. Heart disease kills more women in the US than any other illness including cancer. Had they known about his heart disease, it is possible that a simple, cheap blood thinner would have prevented his death.

In flight embolisms seem to be more and more frequent and if this news was already posted upthread, apologies, I am at work and just checking in from time to time.

This may sound silly but it is bugging me. Everyone in the world has been looking at those kids and going ‘hello MJ, you can’t bleach sperm ya know’ and now it looks like it will come out that he is not the bio dad. So, is him having been put on the birth certifcate fraud? Is it like an ilegal adoption? Could legally he lose custody post mortem and therefore his family would be out of the picture? Or am I talking bollocks- has been known. Too hot to think!

    @lizzieb:

I find that unlikely. It has always been obvious that the kids couldn’t be his so if there was anything untoward legally I’m sure someone would have flagged it up before now. Those kids all had blonde hair when they were little, there was no way they ever came from him! I don’t think that it is a possibility but like you say it is so hot here it’s difficult to grapple with these issues! What I do wonder though is why he chose to have a sperm donor, was it just to do with him wanting white children or was it because he had a genetic disease and didn’t want to pass it on? But if that was the only reason, why didn’t they racially match the donor? I don’t know about you but I’m watching Andy Murray at Wimbledon and trying to catch bits of the Madonna Malawian adoption of Mercy doc between games – much to concentrate on! All I have gathered so far is that it sounds like the charitable foundation Madonna is involved in, Raising Malawi, is a Kabbalah-based organisation who are trying to Kabbalah-ise the country. The govt are completely in bed with her, happy to receive her money and do her bidding. The courts are a joke, the judges didn’t even know Mercy had a father at the first hearing even though all the newspapers were reporting it. Developing…. ha ha!

@lizzieb:With the advent of sperm donation things have gotten a bit messy re parentage. It used to be a child born during a marriage was considered the husband’s no matter what. But CA law before passing the Uniform Parentage Act, said that the child had to be concieved during the marriage, he married Debbie Rowe when she was pregnant so if another father came forward it could get messy. Depending on where the last child was born, the laws of that country would govern. Adoption only comes into play if a surrogate is used with donor eggs. I have a relative who did egg donation, but because she conducted the pregnancy the children are considered hers. I hope they know who the biological father is in case any of the children ever become ill.

The ‘Jordan Chandler admits he lied’ story currently circulating is a hoax, but I recommend anyone interested in understanding that first case reads Mary Fisher’s article “Was Michael Jackson Framed?” There are copies hosted in several places online. I remember reading this article back when it was published and changing my opinion from being uncertain, but believing Jackson was probably guilty, to believing he was innocent. With the more recent allegations, I’ve never felt I knew enough about the case to form a fair opinion. But I’ve gained a new interest in looking into this case, after hearing comments from friends who feel CERTAIN Jackson was guilty – yet know even less about the case than I did – and feel strongly he shouldn’t be remembered favorably.

I couldn’t help thinking that as much as I think it would be a travesty for him have gotten away with these crimes, it’s also awful if it’s completely untrue he was a pedophile and the world remembers him this way. True or not, my main problem with my friends’ reactions is that the latter possibility – condemning an innocent man, even if in reputation only – doesn’t seem to cross their minds as something that is also unacceptable, something to guard against as much as we should guard against instantly believing these kids are liars because you’re blinded by fandom. I don’t doubt there are a lot of people who have formed an opinion of his guilt after carefully reviewing all the evidence, but I think there are many like my friends, for whom two sets of allegations and Jackson being ‘weird’ are enough to make his guilt certain.

I find it really interesting that Ian believes Jackson is innocent because I was starting to lean that way having learned more about the second case and the lousy credibility of the Marvizos. It’s hard for me to believe that the allegations represent airtight evidence when they come from, of all the families of boys Jackson befriended, two families with very dodgy backgrounds. The Marvizos had a history of scamming, and Evan Chandler was recorded talking about plans to go after Jackson, before his son had even alleged abuse. Jordan Chandler’s allegations came only after his father and a dental colleague (also with a shady background) gave him an unnecessary drug, one known to cause extreme suggestibility and to even implant false memories. It’s also worth noting Jordan sued his father for severe, life-threatening physical abuse in later years.

No its mainly Christian from C19th missionaries/colonialists in disguise. Now Madge and friends are spreading the influence of Kabbalah in the time-honoured tradition of chucking money at the country. It’s such a shame that these gifts always come with conditions. The programme actually ended by saying the orphanage was a great place, with better living conditions than the hotel they were staying in (albeit still quite basic), and while it was a great place for the kids to stay it didn’t make up for the kids having a real family, so having them adopted into western ones was ultimately better for them. The sad thing is I don’t think many of these children actually didn’t have families willing to take care of them. It was just that the families couldn’t afford to keep them. The orphanage had a small opening door in the outer wall where babies/children could be left annonymously by people who couldn’t care for them any more. Which begs the question, why can’t they just be sponsored by the foundation to stay within their own families/communities? Seems like the best solution to me.

I thought this was all done anonymously even when there is genetic screening or a desire for certain physical traits? I mean I know there are a couple of one off cases where SD children go legal on the donor but really, is this a legal angle that is legit? Just now catching up:

JJ interview last night: omfg BASTARD!
KJ petitions for the kids and estate: NO NO NO
They don’t think there is a will? OMG what a mess this will be!!! Is CA his permanent state of residence?

Dying Without a Will in CA
In California, who will receive the estate depends on answering a series of questions about the person who died.

    1. The first question is whether the decedent (the person who died) was married.

    A. If the decedent was not married, the estate is distributed as follows:
    1. To the decedent’s children, who take in equal shares if they are in the same generation.
    2. If there are no children or other issue (issue is the legal term for children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc.) living, the estate goes to the decedent’s parents.
    3. If there are no parents living, the estate is distributed to the “issue of the parents.” If the decedent had brothers or sisters, they will inherit the estate.
    4. If there are no brothers or sisters, the decedent’s grandparents will inherit the estate.
    5. If there are no grandparents, then the “issue of the grandparents” will inherit the estate. This could include the decedent’s aunts and uncles, or if there aren’t any aunts and uncles, the decedent’s cousins.
    6. If there are no cousins, Probate Code section 6402 provides that the estate will be distributed to “next of kin in equal degree,” generally meaning more distant cousins.

Tom Cat, I have some friends that are doctors, more specificially one is psychiatrist dealing in eating disorders. I know all too well about what you would call eating disorders, etcs, The truth of it Tom Cat, is that many of these so called “disorders”, that docs give these wonderful names to so that they can get a lot of money by treating them, are caused by isolation, someone with a bad or negative attitude, lack of honest friends, family members and developed repeated bad habits and wrong thinking. These “disorders” can be changed and treated Tom Cat without medication. Most docs won’t want you to know that, because well, that’s how they make their money. They love people like you who trust them blindly. You are $$$$$$$$$$$ in their eyes. Just as with proper diet, a good attitude, positive thinking, setting limits and not trying to please everyone, along with having honest friends, less and less people would be sick. I know some medical people out there studying and researching many diseases, adn I can tell you this, some of them have shared that when they find some interesting information about some simple, natural remedy which might be an easier less expensive cure that what’s out there, it’s not always easily embraced because the pharmacies dont’ want those “treatments” getting out to the public as those treatments are often simple, inexpensive and people can treat themselves inexpensively.

Doctors run a business, some are very good; and some not so good.

I understand it takes more than just feeding someone who perceives themselves as overweight when they are frail; it’s getting through so that they listen to and see things as they are, not as they perceive them to be. They have a protective barrier around them most often, from years of being protected from teh truth. Those people who protect them Tom cat, those would be called “Enablers”

So tom cat, are you some one connected to the doc that treated Michael Jackson????

A friend of mine who helps me with the housework (I can’t do so much without help anymore) was here Saturday and brought her 12 year old. She had been crying about MJ. Puberty, emotions, I get that but she was genuinely crying her little heart out. She could not believe it when I told her he was very famous when I was a kid which I am sure seemed completely impossible. At any rate, she told me she had dreamt about him the night before and was otherwise highly involved in grief. I was taken aback. This is insane about the suicides if it is true and as you like to say, has the world gone mad? Really!!!

I am going to guess that this funeral will leave James Brown’s in the dust. MOAF for sure. I am conflicted. I think it is good for the families of celebs to do these things privately. But I will bet you if Daddy J is involved it will be an over the top spectacle. I am sure it will be on every channel here. Gawd that is so disgusting!

Heath Ledger was lovely and that was a real and true tragedy. This not so much. Did anyone really think it could end well for this fellow. I didn’t know so much about him, but as they say, a pictures speaks a 1000 words (or something like that). He looked pretty rough.

bb14. This is off the subject………. but do you think that Jen ad Bradley are for real or is she waiting for Brad. I did read that she was disappointed when Brad took off for Switzerland with friends and never came to her. After she was getting together with Bradley she received a text from Brad saying that he and Ange are trying to work things out for the kids sake, and that he needed more time if he and Jen were going to be together,. She texted him back saying that he had better make up his mind because she isn’t going to wait around. I wonder what gives.

This public funeral is going to be disgusting. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are vile men who have no dignity. Everyone is using him as means to an end still. Joe Jackson is even worse than the two “reverends”. Those kids are going to have a hell of a time.

But it isn’t just them, the rest of the “media” who are selling false statements and other bullshit to sell their rags. Jesus, even the Chopra family seem to be the cottage industry of MJ with Deepak’s daughter writing an article for The Huffington Post. She’s defending the nanny Grace Rwumba (i don’t actually know her last name) saying that Grace didn’t mean to speak ill of Michael to the reporter Daphne something and that Daphne had taken advantage of Grace who was vulnerable yada yada…I don’t have time to find the link, but the author is Mallika Chopra and it was on The Huff Post today online.

LOS ANGELES — Investigators on Monday retrieved medications from the rented mansion where pop star Michael Jackson was fatally stricken last week, a coroner’s official said.

Two coroner’s investigators and two police detectives spent several hours inside the three-story estate home and then emerged with two large red bags filled with evidence.

The coroner’s office performed an autopsy on the 50-year-old entertainer’s body on Friday but deferred a decision on the cause of death, citing the need for further tests. A second, private autopsy was being performed Monday, according to Jackson’s father, Joe.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told reporters outside the home that authorities returned to the home to gather additional items, which he identified as “some medications

Winter cited “information that was obtained by the Los Angeles Police Department along with some questions we had involving some of the medications,” but he did not elaborate.

He would not say what type of medications were picked up. He also did not say how much medication there was or where in the home it was found.

The investigation will possibly continue for another four or five weeks, “with extensive testing,” he said.

“With that in mind, is it a good idea for these kids to be around the grandfather, who was the one that battered their father and basically started his downfall? OR…are MJ’s parents divorced, and just the grandmother would have custody perhaps?”

In court papers that the Jacksons have filed, the family compound in Encino is listed as Mrs. Jackson’s place of residence. However, Mr. Jackson has no place of residence listed on the legal work – for his address it says tbd (to be decided). I don”t know whether that means they separated or divorced, but it seems to mean something is up.

Yeah, I had a little bit of a meltdown. Somebody I knew passed away a little over a year ago from a bad mix of medications and it really crushed me – really was devastated. The one person in my life that I never would have thought would go that way. Then the thing with Michael – it just brought all that sh*t up in me and, like I said, I basically had a meltdown. Got hysterical. And that’s pretty much the story. I think there was also a little bit of projection from my feelings about losing a friend and intertwining it with MJ. I think what was the final push was Ian seeming cold and being like “I told you so”. Made me go haywire.

    2 more entertainers have passed.
Gale Storm. A B-movie actress in the ’40’s. (Although at least one is a very, very good B-movie). She went on to bigger popularity in a 1950’s tv series, “My Little Margie”. DOT records then asked her to record for them. She had two huge hits: “I Hear You Knocking” and “Dark Moon”.

Fred Travalena. A very talented impressionist of celebrities. He was everywhere in the “70’s.

    @The Tom Cat:

Yes dear, those pesky hyphens have obviously just been dropped from the English language because you got called out on not being able to spell when trying to be a superior tw*t about someone else’s spelling. I’m not sure whether you are familiar with the dictionary at all but if you look it up you will see that hyphens most certainly have not been dropped when it is convenient to an obnoxious poster on a gossip blog. Especially ones with a “self” in front of, you know like self-congratulatory, self-important and self-justifying maybe? I’m sure you’ll be more than familiar with all those terms. Don’t get your knickers in a twist because you tried to act like the bg hard cat but made yourself look like a fool while doing so now will you? Life is too short to be such a dick I can assure you of that. And BTW as for your previous accusation that I am “self-aggrandizing” (note that crucial hyphenation), I would like to introduce you to the word “irony”. Buy a dictionary, look it up, educate yourself Tom Cat. And why don’t you have a nice little look through the hyphenated words while you’re there? That should keep you occupied for a good, well, hopefully the rest of your life if we’re lucky.

Bottling the caca up is not healthy for you either, so maybe an occassional freakout isn’t the end of the world, if you come out the other side a little purged.

The cozy Italian restaurant Il Cantinori is the setting for many a romantic NYC evening, and June 18 was no exception. But seated among the canoodling couples was one surprising duo: Jennifer Aniston and The Hangover star Bradley Cooper. “We put them at a secluded table in the back,” one Il Cantinori staffer tells Life & Style.

The pair arrived around 10 p.m. and left two hours later. “They were very flirty and into each other — it was definitely a date,” says an eyewitness. “Jen looked really happy. When they left, they went back to the same hotel together!”

I am confused: (1) Michael Jackson is not the biological father of any of his 3 children; (2) Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the first 2 children; (3) MJ’s dermatologist is the biol father of the first 2 children; (4) no one is saying who is the biol mother of the first 2 kids; (5) no one is saying who is the biol mother and biol father of the third child; (4) MJ did NOT adopt any of the 3 kids – do we have a potential legal mess here or am I making this more complicated than it needs to be? Thanks.

Here are pictures taken the night before he died, at rehearsals. According to Kenny Ortega they were in fact taken June 24th, despite being erroneously dated by many outlets as June 23rd.

    http://justjared.buzznet.com/2009/06/29/michael-jackson-final-rehearsal/

AEG confirmed that they have over 100 hours of Michael’s rehearsals recorded in HD, including the final night where he performed up to 11 songs and it went on for several hours. Every legitimate insider who actually witnessed the rehearsals has said the same–that Michael could still perform his iconic dance moves including the moonwalk and spin, and he sang live wonderfully as well. This includes the stage hands, the magician who was hired to create illusions (he worked on Britney’s tour as well and he sat in on the final rehearsals), the choreographer and producers, the backup singers and dancers, his old time manager Frank DiLeo, and very close friends including Marlon Brando’s son. AEG plans on releasing footage and audio of his rehearsals at some point, probably as a posthumous album and live DVD. There is so much misinformation being spread at this point with everyone trying to capitalize on him, hopefully the videos and pictures from the night before will speak for themselves. That alleged interview with Debbie Rowe the tabloids are passing around is also false, that was the same story and same exact quotes they reported years ago (2005 or 2006) and she vehemently denied ever making such a claim at the time.

My opinion is that if one of us “regular joes” tried to do any of this t o just one kid (let alone the 3 Jackson and the 6 Brangie) on our own, we would be hauled before some authority pronto and be required to prove that us “regular joes” are providing the correct environment to raise a child! Jennifer Aniston Tries to Make Brad Pitt Jealous with Bradley Cooper

Atlanta, GA 6-30-2009 08:12 GMT (TransWorldNews)

Jennifer Aniston is allegedly trying to use her relationship with Bradley Cooper to make ex-husband Brad Pitt jealous. Sources say the actress, who is currently filming Bounty Hunter with Gerard Butler, was determined for her recent date with Cooper to be caught on camera.

“The paparazzi have nicknamed her ‘The Phantom.’ She doesn’t get photographed unless she wants to. This was no accident,” a source says of pictures of Aniston leaving a restaurant with Cooper.

“She’s definitely trying to make Brad jealous. She’s sending him a message that she won’t wait around for him forever,” says a friend of the actress. “Jen wanted Brad to wish it had been him there with her and not another man.”

Pitt was allegedly set to dump partner Angelina Jolie to rekindle his romance with Aniston

Apparently MJ is legally their father under Californian law because he was married to the surrogate at the time so there was no need for him to adopt them. The rest I am in full agreement on though, yet again we have a case of social services not being willing to properly inspect the lives of children of celebs. BTW, although jacko was in hundreds of millions of dollars worth of debt, his ownership of The Beatles back catalogue is worth $!.3 billion. It sounds like he didn’t want to sell it so kept borrowing from the bank. In reality he was still a billionaire. Those kids will be very wealthy in the not too distant future. Hence the desire for custody on the part of the surrogate I would have thought. These people have no shame.

I so agree with you…. this is main reason why I don’t like the Brange …. they actually have gotten away with a lot , by buying kids from outside the US ( There needs to be a law, that any adopting parent needs to do drug test, if adopting within or outside the US ) . Furthermore, the Brange are also selling photos of their kids, tax free because it’s for good cause….. de facto getting free press and increasing their commercial value of their brand ( tax free !!!) , free exposure gets you No 1 spot on Forbes List…. and so on, and so on…..

I can only hope, that the courts will be busy on the subject for quite some time, so the legislature will wake up and give us some laws, applying to everybody, to stop this ever happen again…… and if it requires AJ doing a drug test in future before she adopts any further….. would make me happy already…frustrated here…

Kate, hope your Mom is better. The kids are only valuable if they are considered MJ’s, therefore his heirs, unless the will is very specific. I have a real problem with Katherine having these kids, she saw what her own children went through, if she had any contact with Michael, why didn’t step in to at least make sure the kids were in school? The only one who seems to have stayed out of the limelight pretty much is Rebi and apparently she is still married to her first husband and has raised 3 children of her own. If they are taking the body to Neverland, he didn’t lose it? I thought it had been sold or foreclosed on.

And Miss Agatha – I didn’t like hearing that I made uncomfortable, I don’t like to make anyone feel that way – I’m actually a very introverted person so I feel uncomfortable a lot of the time in real life. I offer you an apology for making you feel that way.

At the moment, I feel very very sad for Michael Jackson. (I’ll probably get called out more for this than having spazzed out the other day). As talented as he was I believe the extensive damage done to him in his childhood set him on a tragic collision course.

This weekend I heard a very disturbing story about MJ. I was walking my dog and stopped to say hi to a neighbour and of course Jackson’s death came up, not surprising given the fact that the story completely dominated the press. Anyway, story was as follows: In 1995, Jackson was getting ready for a major concert – my neighbour was working closely with him as he did all of the costuming for the show and was present for the rehearsals. He said that Jackson usually rehearses one of two ways – he’ll go all out and really dance and sing and bring it up to performance level, and then, at other times, he would tone down and just kind of walk around the stage, tell the orchestra to just follow his lead and he’d just do a random move here or there. Neighbour said that he did the walkaround usually to explore the music and see what it brought up for him in dance. So… that’s the set-up to the situation.

3 days before the concert was to be taped, they were in the midst of a rehearsal and Jackson was up on stage doing his thing. Then all of a sudden he stopped moving completely and his face was frozen – total disconnect. At first, everyone thought he was joking, but then they started to realise very quickly that something was going on. The next thing they knew, Michael just tumbled over like a board. His body was straight forward and he went down face first – he literally landed on his face and was knocked out stone cold.. They immediately went over to him and that’s when they were really shocked at what they saw. Jackson was laying there without a nose of any kind. My neighbour said that it was absolutely incomprehensible to look at – there was justa a cavity with two small hole. Meanwhile, Michael Jackson’s normal looking nose was laying off to the side of the stage – somebody collected it and they then saw that it was actually a prosthetic nose. Without the prosthetic, MJ didn’t have a nose, so to speak. The all just stood there looking at him absolutely astounded how completely deformed he looked without the prosthetic. They did of course call an ambulance and it was reported in the press that he had collapsed. A number of media outlets thought he’d just fake collapsed to get out of the date. The people who were in the theatre that day made sure that nobody passed it on and it didn’t make it into the press. Neighbour said that one of the reasons Jackson worse so much foundation was to blend in the prosthetic. Anyway, needless to say, I was horrified by the conversation and it made me feel bad for him – the guy had no self-esteem and I just kept thinking what it must be like to go to bed every night and take your prosthetic off and seeing your image without a nose in the mirror every morning and night. It must have been truly macabre.

    * In later years he finally found a german plastic surgeon that was able to do a reconstruction using cartilage but that was years after this event. I wonder if all those nose jobs in between were just for vanity or because the guy didn’t have a nose and was tyring surgeries with different doctors to rebuild one.

*Oh and by the way, Jackson’s first nose job can be chalked up to his caring Papa Joe. Joe used to mock MJ from 5 on about how ugly his nose was and how wide – to me that was the genesis for changing it. I also know that he did not want to resemble his father in any way, maybe that’s a second reason. Anyway, I just felt really really bad for him when I heard this story. No wonder he was so interested in the remains of the Elephant Man – I think he could relate and I think he thought he was in some way grotesque.

Thank you. I have a lot more respect for people that just come out and say where they stand – which you did. I’d rather somebody have a problem with me and tell me, then those people that act all nice to your face and then talk about you behind you back. It may not always feel great to hear people’s opinion of you but it beats the hell out of false camaraderie.

@Harikari girl:I’ve wondered about the nose thing, did it change his voice? I know Barbra Streisand was told if she got a nose job it could change her singing voice, which is why she opted against it. That might also explain all the photos of him with the surgical mask.

I agree with you, HKG, Michael was physically and emotionally abused by Joe (and frankly I’ve wondered about other abuse as well). Did I read somewhere that Joe was a wanabe musician, never quite good enough? Sounds like Joe was incredibly jealous of Michael since he was very young. Too bad, no one ever pointed out to Michael that his father was ugly as sin, the photographs of Michael before the surgeries he probably would have been a very attractive man.

The Los Angeles medical examiner’s continued silence on the cause of Michael Jackson’s death points to drug abuse, a top medical examiner told FOXNews.com on Monday.

Baden added that the role of any doctors and pharmacists associated with the singer would likely be scrutinized further if the toxicology findings show drugs to be the cause of death.

“If he had large amounts of drugs in his system, the next step will be to find out who prescribed them and who administered them,” said baden. “If he did have Demerol or morphine in his system, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will get involved.”

According to Baden, the main reason the Jackson family would hire an independent second autopsy would be to seek faster answers about the singer’s death.

“The [state] coroner’s office knows an awful lot of information now, but they aren’t releasing it because they want to wait for the toxicology results to be completed, which could take weeks,” Baden said.

“A family-sanctioned autopsy can tell them right away, and it can also reveal details such as fresh needle marks on his arms, if he was suffering from any diseases or conditions, etc. And the toxicology results can be available to them within a few days, as opposed to weeks,” Baden said.

    *******

Once the toxicology results are in, I feel they will be going after several docs. It appears there were no health issues.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529480,00.html?test=faces

Dr. Michael Baden, chief medical examiner for the state of New York, told FOXNews.com that because the California coroner’s office did not mention any health conditions or trauma, it is safe to assume that the singer was abusing drugs in a manner that led to his ultimate death.

“One can reasonably speculate [that drugs are to blame] since the initial autopsy findings made no mention of an injury or trauma to the body and no mention of natural disease,” Baden, who recently performed the private autopsy of actor David Carradine, told FOXNews.com. “The fact that they didn’t say anything about it indicates he did not have a bad heart.”

In his autopsy, the L.A. County Coroner said that Michael had been taking “some prescription medications.”

“He appeared to be taking a variety of strong narcotics, and many of those drugs were obtained in the names of his staff and associates,” an insider added. “While the people around him insist they were acting in his best interest, the drugs were used to control and manipulate Michael — and the drugs eventually killed him.

“His family has asked the LAPD to investigate [whether there was any thing unusual about his money trail].

“A team has already started probing his finances.”

MJ’s story reminds me that “money is the root of all evil.” or at least is seems to fit in this case. joe’s greed and cruelty was unbounded. selling his children for $$ and fame, treating them like circus animals. look where it lead. personally, i feel michael never had a chance. some will say he was an adult and could have made different choices, but i don’t believe there was a day in his life he wasn’t surrounded by greedy pigs trying to exploit him. would any of us have turned out any better?

If the tapes reveal a healthy and vigorous Michael Jackson, this will dispell any claims that there was anything seriously wrong with MJ, and support what some of the more honest doctors with some integrity that were close to him are saying which is that MJ was a hypochondriac, that he had a drug addiction, a desire to be perfect; hence all of the plastic surgery; and there were doctors who gave out prescriptions like candy with out any morals or values. Additonaly, many of the vultures, leaches in his life that wanted a piece of the money, lifstyle also enabled him. I would suspect they have the results of some of the tests and are already investigating the doctors and friends now. In additon, Sanjay Gupta indicated he’d blow the whistle on those who contributed to MJ’s demise.

Clearly, if these toxicology results come out indicating an overdose, and the coroner who worked on David Carradine indicated; they have not at this point said anything about any heart problem, or any other disease that was serious, it points to a drug addiction, and that Michael was healthy. These tapes would support that and be further evidence.

If I were the doc with him for his final moments; I’d be concerned. If he injected him with anything he’s cooked; and even if he didn’t; as a doc he would know what Michael was doing, would most likely be witness to it, and any other doc involved giving him drugs, and or administering is going to face serious consequences.

The doc who was with him in his final moments is finished as a doc now anyway. An opportunity of a lifetiem he thought; Who in their right mind would go to him now and trust him after what happened to MJ in his care. He’s done. Of course, he had a bad reputation to begin with – lots of lawsuits against him, back child support. And he has 5 kids by six women: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2507708/Michael-Jackson-doctor-has-6-kids-by-5-mums.html

Conrad Murray could face manslaughter charges if it was he who brought this into the home, administered it, or knew about it.

    **************BREAKING****************** http://www.okmagazine.com/news/view/15388

Further speculation over what exactly caused Michael Jackson’s death is being discussed after TMZ reports that Propofol, an extremely potent and dangerous drug, was found at his home.

Propofol is used for surgical anesthesia, and the report indicates it is not supposed to be used except by medical personnel, as it can only be administered with an IV. A source tells TMZ, “There is no conceivable way this drug can be properly prescribed for home use.”

Anyhoo. Michael Jackson. Why oh why is his family allowing his body to go on display? Fair enough, many cultures have open caskets but this is for those who attend the funeral and/or wake. You know, people that know the deceased. No propping up their mortal remains for any Tom, Dick or Harriet to have a gawp. It’s macabre. Fucking Joe Jackson- how, in a country where it’s so easy to get a gun, is he still alive?

Actually, when I was told that story the other day, I didn’t really get it for a while. I kept saying to my neighbour “what do you mean his nose was over there?” “How did it get over there?” “No, I mean how can a nose just completely snap off and land over there?” Duh! I heard that they’re canceling the Neverland plans and trying to come up with something else because they tried to get a permit to bury him there and the county turned them down because it’s a residence. They also finally broke the will – his mother is to have sole guardianship of his three children (Note the word SOLE – no Joe Jackson), if his mom can’t do it or passes away then he wished Diana Ross to step in and take the kids, and two guys I’ve never heard of are supposed to head a trust that will remain confidential. He didn’t leave anything for Debbie Rowe (she was already paid off), but this one part in his will stumped me:

“Except as otherwise provided in this Will or in the Trust hereof, I have intentionally omitted to provide for my heirs. I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe.”

Are his children not his heirs? What exactly does this mean? I’m terrible with legal stuff so forgive the ignorance.

The will has been misinterpreted in reports — suggesting that Debbie Rowe was intentionally excluded. Jackson has even excluded his own children from getting property under the will. But all that means is that the trust he created will control the distribution of property.

  402. Different Guest said on July 2nd, 2009 at 2:46 am

@harikari girl:There was no reason for Debbie Rowe to be in his will other than as a potential guardian for the children. She was his ex-wife, also no mention of Lisa Marie Presley, his other ex-wife. The intentionally not provided for my heirs is more likely directed at his father and his siblings to prevent them from successfully contesting the will. It looks like he did have good legal advice re:the finances. It is still possible that Debbie Rowe could sue and get custody of the two older children.

I’m a huge fan of MJ’s music, and I just finished reading your book. I find it to be a very fair presentation of facts. Honestly speaking, I never did pay much attention to all the trials and chaos that MJ went through. Maybe it was partly because I really didn’t want to believe any of it. Although, I couldn’t escape some of it too… MJ was too big a star and news about him was just everywhere. I saw Martin Bashir’s documentary and was left feeling disturbed.

I was also determined to just keep it about the music. If MJ was guilty or not shouldn’t matter… his music was still GREAT.

When MJ passed away, I was shocked and saddened. To my own surprise, I was deeply saddened.

His story is truly tragic. After reading your book, I don’t believe he is guilty of anything. I guess what I’m saying is… thank you. Your book made me feel good about MJ the person, and not just the artist.

I hope he is now resting in peace, as this world was not kind to him.
