IUC Exclusive: Did Hilary Take Dive to Avoid Scheduled Meeting with Angie?

Posted on June 19th, 2009 by HisHighness in IUC:Entertainment, IUC:Exclusive

What a blessing for Sex of State Hilary Clinton – she falls, breaks her elbow and get out of meeting Angie Jolie for a World Refugee Day event.  Last month at Cannes Film Festival Angie did not show up to an event attended by Bill Clinton after she got in a heated row with her better half, Brad.  Sources close to Brangie said Brad insisted she not attend to avoid public embarassment because of Angie’s infatuation with Slick Willie.  Here’s a quote from a Washington insider:  “Hilary’s fall was highly supicious.  We’re not sure exactly what happened.  Hilary was hurt, that’s all we know.  But we also know that Hilary is not a huge fan of Angelina.  Angelina has rumored to get a bit too close to Hilary’s hubby Bill, who has become infatuated with Angelina the past year.  It seems whenever there’s a public meeting scheduled between Angie and one of the Clintons, something strange happens.  I’m not sure it’s all just a coincidence.”  For more on the aborted meeting read (Just Jared) Developing…

Suuure Ian! I bet YOU would break your neck in order to avoid a meeting with her. Too bad that no sane person would intentially hurt him/herself just to avoid a meeting with an unliked peron. Most sane people wouldn`t AGREE to such a meeting in the first plaxe if they didn`t want to meet someone. That would have been much easier!

    Morning all,
I can’t say either way on this one, but I did find it interesting to begin with that HC would give AJ the time of day with a televised sit-down. Considering AJ’s lust-crush for Slick Willie.
Did anyone watch Anderson Pooper last with AJ on it? I really wish that the UN would find someone else as their spokesperson. Truly her broadcasting that her and Brad donating $1mil, is really a PITTance , when one takes into consideration their extravagant and overdone lifestyle. The word hypercrite doesn’t even cover it.
She arrived with her boys{P&M} by private jet yesterday for one, how does that correlate to responsibilty.
Before any haters jump on me, about what I have done lately for charity, it doesn’t matter what I have done, I am not publicizing my charity, because in reality charity should be done quietly with no fanfare, expectations of granduer and adulations, bottom line the “right hand should not know what the left is doing” in charity”. IMO, AJ the prostitute already gotten her reward, and should be shunned not glorified.

Yes we all fall and bust our elbow up to get out of something. Not! She’s going through surgery so it wasn’t a simple fall. Hilary highly respects Angelina and her work, strong women usually aren’t intimidated by other women. This site is such a joke.

A prostitute goes guy to guy collecting money for sexual favors. Angelina isn’t a prostitute or who**, long term relationships with loving partners doesn’t make you one. Angelina has been in long term relationships for 17 years. I’m sorry you don’t like Angelina and that’s your right but lying just makes you look dumb.

Pardon, I seriously doubt it, let’s not generalize “strong women” and lump us together with a tramp and a thief. HC does not HIGHLY respect AJ. There is always an angle, and it has nothing to do with admiration or respect.
HC isn’t a saint either, she’s got plenty of skeletons in her closet, but if I had to choose the lesser evil between the two, HC is my choice, and intimidation , has nothing to do with it.

I have some questions for you “Admire Angelina”. 1. Do you think this appearance could have been scheduled by the DOS before the players in it were even known? 2. Has it been communicated somewhere that “Hillary highly respects Angelina and her work” and if it has could you provide the reference so I can read it myself? Furthermore you insinuate that people might think Hillary Clinton, a strong woman, could be intimidated by Angelina Jolie. NO ONE could ever think that of Hillary Clinton. Disgusted by Angelina Jolie, perhaps. Annoyed by the very existence of the character known as Angelina Jolie, maybe. Exasperated to have been put in the awkward position of sharing the stage with a tabloid star, believable. Angelina Jolie has risen to “prominence” in these matters through notoriety and donating money, period. Hillary has risen to prominence through education, experience, a brilliant mind and hard, hard, hard work over many, many years. Comparing the two in any way is not only ludicrous but offensive to educated women worldwide.

Mama San, I did watch the Anderson Cooper interview last night. I truly do respect the effort that Angie does for various charities. No matter what her motives are, she is doing good. I do think it is hypocritical to live this wildly lavish lifestyle, but I am not sure what i would do if I were in her shoes either.

That being said, I think that Angie THINKS that she is a lot smarter and more informed than she is. When you listened to the answers that she gave to the questions, it was glaringly obvious that she knew absolutely nothing about refugees. All that she knows how to do is to give emotional accounts of her meetings with these children in a very “actressy” way. She could have won an award for the monologues on the little boy and the little girl that she was talking about last night. Touching, but for someone whom the UN holds out as having a position, woudl it really have killed her to do a little research before the interview, in order to speak intelligently? The very first question was what area has the worst refugee situation. Her answer was Pakistan, because there are a lot of refugees. Seriously, that is all she said…stumbled around her words and never explained WHY Pakistan was an area the world needed to focus on…ALL that she said was because the number of refugees was high. She could have easily researched this issue, had some facts to back it up…anything…I was actually shocked at how uninformed she was!

So, while I respect her for taking time out of her Hollywood life to try and help, I have to say that I was extremely unimpressed with her lack of knowledge and her inability to convey even a single well thought-out response to any of these pressing issues. With just ONE HOUR’s worth of research on the internet, she could have made that interview so much better.

Rather than flying in to D.C. on a private jet to speak on television with AC, hotel room, etc. Use that money to put directly where the people need it. Clean water, medicines, doctors/nurses/clinics/decent appropriate housing for that area….she could put up by doing something for the needy rather than for herself just to keep her face in front of the public….Carrying books so the paps can photograph her with one, does not necessarily mean she actually reads them…..duh Angie…

Jolie just donated a million dollars. Maybe you should do some research before you start talking.

GENEVA (AP) – Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated $1 million to the U.N. refugee agency providing aid to hundreds of thousands uprooted by violence in Pakistan.

The U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees says it is grateful for the donation from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. It said Thursday the money will go to alleviating suffering caused by the “most challenging humanitarian crisis of the past decade.”

UNHCR says over 2 million Pakistanis have been driven from their homes this year by fighting between government troops and Taliban militants in the northwest of the country.

Jolie has visited refugees in Pakistan on three missions since becoming goodwill ambassador for the agency in 2001. The Oscar-winning actress took Pitt with her on one such visit in 2005.

Then again the so called Anti’s prefer not to see that fact as they would prefer to believe that they are single-handedly destroying ‘their’ world.

I didn’t say Angie needs to DONATE money, i said Angie needs to CONSTRUCT, PAY FOR, SET UP FOR OPERATION…yano…OVERSEE the work to get it done right! Take her happy ass over to one of the countries in desperate need, and buy the materials to build a clinic, then shop with medical personal to buy the supplies, medicines, and see they are stocked in the clinic. Assist with hiring doctors/nurses/helpers and establish a trust to ensure it all runs well for time to come. That is much more of an effort to help those refugees than flying in a private jet, staying in a luxuroius hotel, and standing in front of a camera to tell the world See What I Am Doing? Duh

ETHIOPIA: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Visit Ethiopia to Learn More About AIDS in Africa

    Associated Press (11.09.04) – Wednesday, November 10, 2004
    Anthony Mitchell

    ——————————————————————————–
Actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston recently spent four days touring HIV projects and visiting local activists in Ethiopia. Their trip was organized by DATA, the group co-founded by rock star Bono to address Third World trade, debt and HIV/AIDS. “It was a listening and learning visit,” said DATA spokesperson Jamie Drummond, who declined requests for comments from Pitt or Aniston. The married couple also met eight top Ethiopian singers who have collaborated on songs to educate people about HIV and raise money for AIDS programs. “[Pitt] was very humble and really interested in the situation here,” said Tsedenia Gebremarkos, a popular Ethiopian musician who just released a hit album in Ethiopia. “We hope his popularity can raise awareness in the same way we are trying to. We need the support of people like him.”

Re: charity, there is absolutely no need or reason to publicise donations whatsoever in reality. If they think they’re drawing attention to the cause by announcing it then all they need to do is say they have made a donation without specifying the exact amount. What or whose purpose does it serve to give a figure? Alternatively if they really, really wanted to talk about the figure but perhaps might want to put it into perspective for the general public, perhaps they could say what percentage they gave of their total earnings for that year or perhaps their total wealth? It sounds a bit different when you say “well I’m donating 2.5% of my earnings this year or 0.25% of my total wealth to this charity”, than saying “I’m donating x of millions”. It would encourage people to donate and also give an indication of what an appropriate sum might be based on their own earnings/net wealth. Plus I think if you’re going to make a big announcement about money you’ve donated to charity, you should also make a big announcement about whether that donation includes any tax write-off and whether you’re evading any taxes in general using interntational tax havens. Just a thought for the multi-millionaire philanthropists of the world. Fair is fair.

Plus, she doesn’t come accross as someone intelligent, informed, knowledgable, or educated. She seemed to be very ignorant about the topic actually, everytime someone interviews her about refugees, political or economic issues, she gives very vague and uninformed answers.

    Question:
Didn’t AJ have a hard time trying to finish highschool? Wasn’t she a highschool drop out or something?

How about this for a conspiracy theory: Hillary ALREADY had a pre-existing elbow injury or condition that needed treatment. She “faked the fall” and scheduled the surgery that she already needed anyway. I have to say, I was very disappointed that Hillary was going to give Jolie political cred by appearing with her. Jolie gets paid for posing and talking and that’s all she really does with the refugees.

My guess is that Hillary had to have surgery anyway or else the universe is keeping Jolie the demon down in her rightful place. Even Anderson Cooper’s plane got diverted back to NYC and he couldn’t go to DC to be with Jolie during the day.

Anyway, many women don’t like Jolie and Hollywood doesn’t like her either. I also have heard a lot of rumors lately about Jolie and Bill Clinton having an affair. That wouldn’t surprise me. Match made in heaven. Jolie the power-hungry slag and Bill C. with his irrepressable libido. So there is a political downside on two counts with regard to Hillary and Jolie meeting up.

    1. when is the multiracial couple coming out as a couple……..
    2. what happened to the 2 women Brad Pitt supposedly got pregnant – the Sudanese model and the other one
    3. what happened to the lady in Washington he was supposedly seeing
    4. What happened to Kimmie and her continuing stories….
    5. What happened to your theory of Brad and Jen reconciling….

Can we get those answered please……….

So much has transpired between Angie and Brad and The Press that it would be very difficult, imo, to find an intelligent person who buys into their phony PR these days. It’s been clear from the start they are all about themselves, and even fell for their own press releases which explains their enormous egos. The bigger they rise, the harder and further they fall….and they are falling now. Angie spent so much effort dissing Jennifer, that this is going to bite her in the ass. Brad has perfected being the victim in these women fights, so he believes he can lope off into the sunset reputation intact. Won’t happen Mr Pitt, too much information has been released, and not enough facts were revealed about the former Mrs Pitt to defend her … You Mr Pitt, are just as responsible for the bashing of the former Mrs Brad Pitt as your ho. Forty-six…is old for a “handsome young boy looking” HW star….the roles will soon be for the handsome young boy’s father….you. While Jolie will most likely give up acting, what choice has she after bomb after bomb? Such enormous studio losses must effect her usablilty with the studios…and Plan B can’t afford to carry you both …. Ah….The End is near

Jennifer Aniston BFF Oprah Winfrey Furious With Angelina Jolie
Jennifer Aniston‘s BFF Oprah Winfrey is reportedly none too happy with Angelina Jolie for turning down a request by the chat queen to participate in her charity work.
    Sep 2, 2006
Winfrey reportedly invited Jolie to help promote a girl‘s school in Africa and was stunned when the Hollywood do-gooder refused.
A source told Star magazine: “Oprah thought Angelina would jump at the chance because she knows how much Angelina loves Africa,”

“Oprah says it‘s the last time she‘ll ask Angelina to help with any of her causes.”
Angie is allegedly still a bit miffed at Oprah‘s stance with Aniston in the aftermath of her split from Jolie‘s new lover Brad Pitt.

A friend of Jolie adds: “Angelina has never forgiven Oprah for siding with Jennifer Aniston after Brad Pitt split from Jen.”

Can this get anymore ridiculous? Once again, Angelina Jolie proves that her so-called charity it motivated by other things.
If Angelina was the true do-gooder she wants everyone to think she is she would have accepted Winfrey‘s plea for help. Why? Because it‘s all about the charity and helping those less fortunate and not about letting personal beefs cloud the issue.

‘08Did Jennifer Aniston go to the Ivy to do charity work?

Aniston at the Ivy last Friday. Credit: Fame

When Aniston showed up at paparazzi hot spot the Ivy on Friday, a lot of people assumed that she did it to show off her perfectly flat non-pregnant stomach. With all the magazines in the grocery stores declaring her pregnant, who can blame her really?

Just Jared says that Aniston went to the Ivy on Friday because she had to do some charity work there, though.

Also, here’s the real story behind on-again girlfriend Jennifer Aniston’s “photo op” at The Ivy. An insider tells JustJared.com that the restaurant’s back entrance was blocked, so Aniston had no choice but to enter through the front. The 39-year-old actress was there to sign a contract with a chef and some big-time caterers for a health and nutrition school program she is working on to help overweight children. Aniston, who is funding the program, was in the kitchen for the entire time and didn’t enter the dining room at all.

I just checked out that interview and was amazed at how lacking in knowledge she seemed to be. She really didn’t say anything that any old Tom, Dick and Harry couldn’t have said, it was shocking! And bearing in mind that the UNHCR would have fully briefed her as to what to say in that interview beforehand and the CNN Researcher would have run through the questions with her in advance before they taped it, that was truly weak. She came across as completely uninformed and lacking in substance. Unless this is part of some big PR plan to sound more “down-to-earth” and “likable”, and less “smug” and “intellectually superior”. And the crying bit was truly nauseating. Only an actor could sound so much like they were about to cry without a single tear moistening their eye! And I love how she gave the “I’m so warm, sincere and beautiul, yes on the inside and out” smile at Cooper while she waited for him to ask her the questions. Its a look she does in practically all her interviews, a sort of expectant, serene and alluring half smile – very Princess Dianaesque – how bloody hilarious!

In the supposed Illuminatti groups message is a Hex code, which can only be decyphered by a machine, and it gives an i.d. and a location in hex, which was hidden in the text of the Telegraph’s article. BlackJack is rumored to be a group who’s goal is taking over the world, and nuclear weapons are said to be used for this…click on some of the other url’s there, very interesting i say. Ok I will give it a shot and try to be brief:

The Telegraph posted a multi part series, an art project.
It depicted multiple doom nuke scenarios in London, Portland, Miami, etc.
What made it weird is that it was published with out much or any context. It was just there.
The interwebs got hold of it and found that when you click on select all on the slides in teh telegraph presentation there were hex codes. Using a hex converter they decoded some extremely frightening commentary hidden in these codes in these pictures.
The internets are going NUTS over this.
There are raging debates back and forth-
One the one side you have the tinfoilhatters saying that the PTB ALWAYS tell what they are going to do to us which in retrospect of huge events turns out to be true
OTOH the skeptics are saying this is some bullshit viral marketing campaign
Finally a guy calls MI5 to report this and he is very concerned that if this is some kind of marketing thing, it is an outrage, people are frightened, any of us would already be in jail, that kind of thing. For anyone conspiracy minded and also for skeptics, frankly, it is well worth doing some work on the google machine to see what you think.

SERIOUSLY – she is no role model. Lots of celebs are UN reps – Charlize Theron comes to mind instantly – and yet they don’t feel the need to publicize their work with “arty” and ” noble” black and white photographs in a fashion magazine. If we’re gonna talk about a woman worthy of respect then surely Aung San Suu Kyi should spring to thought, not some mediocre actress who had the (mis)fortune of appearing in a poor, cheesy remake of a semi-classic film, with an equally mediocre, married fellow actor……..?

LISTEN UP. THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER. CLANCY BLACKJACK WILL BE ODEGARD DURING OPTIMUS SEASON. PLEASE LET THE ELDERS RESIST INTO TEMPTATION AS MEDIA IS NEVER ENDING.

Clear blue package overnight. Macbeth Timedown, Standby.

Hath Cadwal now to give it motion?

When sorrows come, they come not single spies, But in battalions.

7 targets nuked in the telegraph:
London, New York City, Washington DC, Toronto, Mexico City, Portland, Los Angeles,

    7 code names for locations:
Macbeth, Prince of Denmark (Hamlet), Othello, Malvolio, Aemilius, Anthony, Cadwal

Sorrow concealed, like an oven stopp’d,
Doth burn the heart to cinders where it is

    Look like the innocent flower,
But be the serpent under it

    SPECULATION
    Aemilius = London

    Hamlet = Portland

Cadwal = New York or DC

    Macbeth = Mexico City

This is the final warning on this site – all further warnings will be given on jackblack12.info. Beware Ardent Sentry. Be alert for Semis bearing the sun icon. Not all federal authorities are involved

and here is why it freaks people out:

NORAD and USNORTHCOM exercise planned for mid-June

PETERSON AFB, Colo. – North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command are planning to conduct a combined exercise June 18 – 24 that will incorporate several military exercises with a National Guard exercise. These linked exercises are referred to as ARDENT SENTRY 09. Events will take place in multiple venues across the country including Iowa, Kansas, Oregon, Wyoming, and off the East and West Coasts.

The exercise will allow several Department of Defense organizations and some federal and state partners to implement plans and respond to a variety of notional events. Historically, exercises like these have helped both DoD and other agencies review their processes and procedures and focus their future training efforts on closing gaps and identifying areas that need additional attention.

Just as on 911, London Tubes and Madrid, Military Exercises were being held. That is one reason that we are told NORAD stood down (they didn’t know that the exercise had gone live). These exercises frequently go live.

Definitely an oh shit moment even if it is a hoax.

mia all this talk about charity and the big money that these two give is really not effecting any poor or refugees it is lining the pockets of the corrupt and the poor will be lucky to see 1$ a month of this money. the best charity is to help people as a family structure and over see the money every 3 months to see that it is being used for the purpose given. i always believe that you teach a man to fish and he is settled for life not give him a fish and he is hungry the next day and waiting for a hand out tomorrow.
as for these adoptions a realy goodwill person would settle a kid with his extended family and set up a trust not drag the kids of to a circus life style for them to grow up as spoilt brats which is what i am sure will happen to those kids, with these two parents that will split and one will try to out do the other for the attention and love of the kids to spite each other. the only way they will help these poor refugees is by working and spending time at camps and helping set up the hospitals and schools not giving only money time is of more of value and then maybe the poor will see some of this money. i will say that as soon as i see peewee or jolie or bono talking on the subject of the poor i switch off the tv as i have seen and know what is happening and have admiration for those that work and spend time with the poor and make a personal difference in their lives not these photo pr actors. leo dicaprio has done more than any of them and does not advertise it, he has adopted a child and set up a trust and left her with the family and oversees all her needs that is a true goodwill amb. as for jen i have heard of her charities in mexico and other places please don’t believe she is not world famous as there is not one countrie that has not seen friends and the youth still enjoy the reruns and so do us adults, stop blaming the ex for these two being disliked it has noothing to do with her she is the ex and not part of this couple. as stated in the bible those that announce their good deeds are rewarded on earth and not in heaven. let no the right hand know what the left has done. and i will judge adultery and witchcraft when i return to earth. i am not a religious fanatic but these words scare the hell out of me. jmo ( adultery is when you sleep with a man that is still married and the divorce is pending whether he is separated or not)

Or if you have more money, do you build a shelter , staff it, and set up a trust to keep it in operation, then with more funds available for charitable work build a second shelter, and so on and so on…..imo, more would be accomplished if it was overseen by those who wish to make a constructive difference…. In my small area, there are fund raisers held yearly, such as yard sales, carnivals, auctions of donated goods, and the moneys are used to buy homes in need of repair. The people who “donate” their labour on repairs are given rooms in which to live while getting on their feet, night school for GED, job search, etc. They reach their goals and move to an apartment, home that they themselves bought with earned moneys, and their old apartment (room) becomes available to the next worker who helps repair other homes….and so on….

Just re: that interview again, what I also thought was hilarious was that CNN felt it necessary to do a cartoon reconstruction of Anderson Cooper’s plane emergency to justify why he stood up the great Ms Angelina Jolie. He couldn’t just refer to it or describe it, they had to create a visual reconstruction, how funny! Ange must have been so pissed about it. Not just being stood up by HC but Anderson Cooper too, and with the wildest of excuses for it! It kind of took the shine off her starring performance that the co-star refused to show and the interviewer couldn’t make it either. Not quite what she had planned I would have thought! And just rethinking her demeanour again and seeming lack of knowledge of what she was talking about, I actually think that might have been a deliberate PR strategy. I really don’t think she is that unintelligent and uninformed (I mean some of what she said was ridiculous: “I’m not a political person at all” – uh, since when?!), I mean it would be hard for someone in that position to be IMO. She would have to have been briefed a lot more than that. I actually think she might have been employing a deliberate strategy of “play dumber”, “don’t act holier-than-thou or intellectually arrogant”, “be warm, talk about children, be womanly, humble and down-to-earth” etc. Don’t you think? It was very different to other interviews I’ve seen her do in which she’s been far more informed and smug. I think that may well have been a ploy: act natural, be nice, smile a lot, get a bit teary, seem genuine, human and with emotion. Less robotlike than her last video offering and more likable than her usual manner (which she was called out for a lot at all the awards do’s recently). I think that might have been her attempt to seem like a nice person. What do people think? Just my opinion!

    Synopsis from another site:

The Story begins when the Telegraph was trying to “provoke” Germans before the Ending of WW2.

THEY BROUGHT UP A CROSSWORD GAME IN WHICH THE HIDDEN WORDS WHERE IN FACT SECRET CLASSIFIED CODEWORDS !!!

HISTORY MAY REPEAT AS SOME OF YOU KNOW.

READ what NG says about that, and why this may be serious.

I really don’t understand Patty Anne why, you felt it needed to display that Jennifer has been doing charity work as well. This story isn’t about Jennifer. It’s about Hilary and Angelina. The story is nonsense but, you bringing up this “Jen has done charity too” sounds like a desperate attempt to put a” dog in a race” that is not theres to begin with. Why do you feel the need to go tit for tat with, Angelina VS Jennifer ? I have no doubts that Jen is sincere in her charity works and humanitarian efforts. I can applaud both ladies on this. Angelina has been working with the UN for years prior to UN. If the UN and the government thought she was just some emptied head actress who was looking for political credibility and fame they would not be associated with her. Hilary is a very shrewd business women, she’s super strong and can read people well. If she thought for one minute that Angelina was a poser she or her people, would not allow the meeting to have even been scheduled. I don’t like alot of things about celebrities. But, to constantly bash, and wish harm on this lady is nuts. I read someone say Hilary probably slapped the shit out of her, that’s real mature.

I get that many of you hate this lady. It’s crystal clear here. But, her humanitarian works have helped people around the world. When she gets paid for her roles movies she requests that, 15% go to her humanitarian works it’s taken upfront. A practice she has been doing before Brad Pitt and her ever hooked up. Should she sit around and watch all the work being done with her money? Geez, I would think that was a wee bit unreasonable to ask this of her. She’s an actress with 6 kids, a man to take care of as well. I give my donation to the battered womans shelter in my area. I know it goes to good use. But, I don’t sit around an over see what it’s exactly being used for. If she did do this. Wouldn’t she be accused of trying to run her PR games?

I also wonder what has prompted this notion that she has had an affair with Bill Clinton? Yes, I know he has a been busted cheating before. Is there any proof of this with Angelina? I mean any at all? Other than unfounded allegations. Calling this woman a tramp also leads me to question again why ? What exactly has she done to be called such vicious names? I don’t live in her veejay and I’m not a fly on a wall. So how would anyone know who she has or hasn’t had sex with. Other than the obvious, Brad, and her exes. Everything else is gossip but, to assert it as fact, is wrong.

The fact is, she’s giving to something she obviously feels very passionate about. You can’t find fault in everything she’s done. If she was flying in by private jet so what. Isn’t it her money to do as she pleases? I fail to see how all this makes her a hyprocrite in the bigger scheme of things.

I don’t understand why anyone can continue on this witchhunt of finding fault with someone that is not a politician, a pastor of their church or someone they know personally. This woman is a celebrity for crying out loud ! You don’t know her at all. Neither do I. I don’t like seeing Jennnifer A bashed either or anyone for that matter.

I mean, Ian really thinks the Secretary of State of the United States of America would deliberately bust her elbow in order to not stand next to an actress!!! All Secretary Clinton had to do was tell the United Nations that she would not show up if Angelina Jolie showed up and Angie would not have been invited and would have used the excuse that she couldn’t get away from filming.

I think Ian needed something to post since nobody is interested in any of the non-Angelina stuff he’s been putting out there. Nice job, Ian!!!

Have to wonder if HC’s accident was caused by AJ, not HC wanting to get out of being seen with AJ but the other way around. Having HC on at the same time as AJ would only magnify her stupidity. It’s funny but I have this sense that AJ is being set up for a serious fall.

Hm, well I guess by elbowing HC out of the way so to speak (!) she ensured the limelight was squarely on her. But the counter argument would be that sitting next to the SOS would give Ange a lot more political credibility which is what she desires. But if she wants to be taken seriously she’s going to have to sound a bit more intelligent than she did in that interview, she didn’t seem to have a thought in her head. I’ve heard her sound much more intelligent when she’s talking about her acting roles, but then I guess that doesn’t require great intelligence, more “artistic sensitvity”! But I honestly think a teenager could have said more and been more eloquent on the topic than her, even Anderson Cooper frowning like she was saying something truly deep and meaningful didn’t really help her any! I tend to think she was doing it on purpose to come across as friendlier and less cold and superior than she was on the refugee vid and at her recent awards do appearances (I think she reads her reviews and alters her performance accordingly). Plus the lighter hair, the warmer, less severe “Evil Disney Queen” tone, methinks she is trying to up her likability factor in prep for the split and Ian’s book. “I’m not a political person”? Yeah, sure you’re not! Catch you all tomorrow x

You can’t say that Angelina has been less sincere in her efforts than Jen simply cause you don’t like Jolie. The facts speak for themselves. The media is obsessed with Jolie good or bad. I don’t see Jennifer garner attention they way Angelina has. We can say she manipulates the media but, it’s people who buys mags with her face on them, support her films and it’s blogs like this that keep her name on top.

How her trips affect herself and her family:

ANDERSON COOPER: Have they changed the way that you view yourself, the way you view your own family, your own kids?

ANGELINA JOLIE: Absolutely. I guess in more ways than I can probably understand. I just know that I– that I want– I think of my children’s education. And more than thinking I wanna make sure they understand math or they’re really good at this or they have their– I just– I wanna make sure they go out into the world as I’ve been fortunate enough to do in whatever way they can and– and really see the way other people live and meet these other children that– that are so strong, that are so grateful to have– you know, with so little and– and– and are such strong survivors. And I think by– by witnessing them, by meeting them, by making friends with these type of people and these type of children, it will make my children better people as they get older. And– so I– I hope–

ANDERSON COOPER: So you’ll take them to refugee camps?

ANGELINA JOLIE: I hope to have that influence on my family. I will. I have in the past, yeah.

ANGELINA JOLIE: Mad’s gone to– to the Thai border often.

I would have far more respect for her if she chose to work with one group in one country to solve their problems. She can’t even speak intelligently to the issues refugees face. In the archives here there are some rather scathing remarks from front line refugee workers about how truly worthless the celebrity visits are.

I believe Patty Ann, like many other folks here, is frustrated with AJ benefiting image wise at the expense of those in need. If the attention went straight to the refugees, and AJ wasn’t hailed by politicians or WHOEVER, I doubt many folks would have any problems with that. It is my very humble opinion (because really, the only thing I have to go on is my very own feelings, here), that this, unfortunately, is one of those instances where a celeb’s personal life DETRACTS from what it is they are trying to accomplish. AJ somehow DOES have pull. I have absolutely NO IDEA how she got it, why she has it, and /or who she has it with. I don’t care, really. But I do care about the people she represents, whether that be a total facade on her part or not. Sooooo … for some people, she will be a complete turn off. And for others … hopefully a LOT of others … the focus will be on the people in need and not on the messenger.

I’m talking before Trevor ever entered the pic.Even as he has entered the pic now, to say everything she does is for the sake of PR is simply a lie. You don’t know this. The fact remains, she has been doing it for so long whether she’s benefiting from the media or not . What she has done is admirable. I keep getting this feeling you don’t want to give where it’s due. Whether or not you like her or not. You pulled up links of Jen back in 2004 and 2006 doing some humanatarian work. But, if she did it discreetly. Then you wouldn’t know about it .

There is nothing wrong with reinventing your image and benefiting from good PR. If she’s on every mag cover it’s because of this site and others that blog all about her good or bad. The media is obsessed with Angelina because people are obsessed with her she sells. She has managed to benefit from that. I see nothing wrong with that. I don’t see a saintly image of her portrayed in the media. While, I see her being hyped up. I’ve seen many times with that same hype came critisism. She sells and mags and othe rmedia outlets benefit from that. Good or Bad. If people find her to be worthy of attention. We wouldn’t be having this conversation.

It wouldn’t be so easy to steal Bill away from Hillary. Hillary has been around for decades! She has numerous friends in the highest echelons of politics. And she probably already knows what happened to Laura Dern and Jennifer Aniston. She has dealt with the toughest situations in her hard climb towards the top. She’s not about to let a moderately talented celeb/actress take over. This isn’t hollyweird!

If somehow the Democrats play their old familiar song, and play dead while the other party runs all over them; or opens the door for the rise of someone who’s main resume is being a top celeb and manipulator of the press and public, then the conservative Republicans will soon enough send her back to her old haunts. Unless she joins daddy and becomes a member of the reich, er, right-wing! JMO!

then reason jen gets mentioned is because the jolie worshippers are always refering to her. how shallow she is and how she does nothing for others and how wonderfull peewee and jolie are. i think peewee is the main cause of this as he was the one to stated that because of jolie he realized he must get off his behind and stop smoking grass and help the poor and needy. that was just and front for their affair to be vilified and shift the blame on jen the shallow and non charity person, he forgot that she was the one in the know and did things for charity because he was to lazy and doped up and to lazy to bath. OT( there was a story baout him walking around naked because he had no clean underwear because he was sloppy and untidy as well as dirty, that i believe because every time i see this manny i want to put him in a bath and disinfect him.)
well i am sorry but these stars that try to help the poor by all this pr and appearing on tv and in mags puts me off they have the attitude that they know it all and want to tell you what to do and how. jolie gives the impression that she thinks the 3rd world people are inferior and need to have the world tell them what to do, that will put every ones back up. as for her helping for a few months that is possible for her as she has months on end that they do not make movies and it would have a bigger impression if she was seen working and helping for a couple of week next to the real heros that nobody mentions because of her photo ops, it all about her which destracts from the cause.
as for her children she should have a stable home for them and they should be in school making friends and getting an education, what do they know at this age about being dragged all over the world. it shows her stupidity thinking that these young kids will be influenced at such a young age. just a example my youngest was 9 years old and would not eat his supper and i told him that there are plenty of hungry people out there that are hungry his answer was. WELL BRING THEM HERE. that is the answer of most normal kids, they only realize the truth when they are teenagers and have seen and been to the poor and seen the hungry people. jmo and yes i dislike jolie and peewee and always have.

Your point about donations being a percentage of total earnings is good too- Ange gets kudos for what is a drop in the bucket for her and does very little really execpt cry badly and waffle. It was the same with Diana= she was lauded for her good works until someone went- hang on- rich ladies with no jobs and nannies to care for kids have always done charity work- those dresses won’t get worn without a lunch for cancer or a gala for piles. The difference is that Diana’s husband cheated on her and Angie finds other women’s husbands to be catnip. I also think Diana was at heart quite decent if stupid and I do not think that of Ange.

Just a few quick points: you do not have to be a person of particular status or intelligence to be a UN goodwill ambassador. There are literally dozens of them, I did a quick google search and I counted at least 50. Geri Halliwell is one, a little known UK TV presenter called Magenta de Vine is one too. I think they will literally take anyone who is prepared to promote their causes. For some reason the world seems to think AJ is the only one – can’t think why – but that is actually very far from the case. Politcians have always exploited celebs to increase their popularity so its no surprise that they have associated themselves with the world’s most famous woman over the last few years, it does not mean at all that they respect her or take her seriously. She is this year’s thing, if next year it is someone else they will use whoever that person is instead. They aren’t singling her out because she is of great intellect, knowledge or insight, its about her visibility.

As for her allegedly donating a third of her earnings I just wanted to say this: how do you know that for sure? Unless you’ve seen her pay cheques and her accounts you cannot know that, it is as unsubstantiated as you claim her affairs are. Secondly, if she is donating that money how do you know that’s not a tax write off? I would suspect it probably is. I don’t know what the tax rates are in the US but in the UK its 40%. So are you telling me that if she earns $10 million she gives 4 million to the IRS, 1 million to her manager/agent for their 10% commission and then of the 5 mill she has left, gives 1.65 mill to charity, leaving her with 3.35 mill out of a possible 10? I highly doubt that. I would say its more likely she gives a third of the gross amount – if at all – and funnels the rest through an offshore account to avoid paying taxes a la her main chum and notorious tax dodger Bono. That would be my guess anyway, there’s no way she’s giving away 2/3 of her salary. And even if she was she would still be left with 3 million+ – not a bad amount for a few months running around a film set wearing a variety of costumes and wigs! Oh and if it was true also, again, why is it that the whole world knows about it?! She should be keeping her financial affairs and charity-giving to herself. I couldn’t imagine anyone I know telling their best friend what they give to charity let alone the whole world! Just remember how keen Brange are to promote their charity work, it was written into their contract with people alongside “positive future press coverage”. You could argue that they just wanted to draw attention to the causes but when you take the “positive future press coverage” into consideration, I would say that it was meant to promote themselves. Send to a friend
World Refugee Day: “Real People, Real Needs”

First, I would like to relay to all of you Secretary Clinton’s regrets that she could not be with us today. She was planning on joining these proceedings for World Refugee Day to express her personal commitment to the plight of refugees and reaffirm the U.S. Government’s support for UNHCR and the other organizations serving refugees.

On behalf of the Secretary, and the State Department, I want to thank the National Geographic Society for hosting World Refugee Day. I want to express our appreciation to Ann Curry for hosting us today, and for her commitment to journalistic excellence and for reporting on conflicts and the displaced all around the world. And I want to thank and acknowledge Angelina Jolie for her tireless efforts as Goodwill Ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). She has done fabulous work to help increase international attention to the needs of refugees and other persons of concern to UNHCR, thereby providing a voice to those whose plight often goes unheard.

World Refugee Day is an opportunity to reflect on the lives of millions of refugees who have been forced to flee tyranny and conflict. It is also a time to honor their courage and resilience, and to recognize the contribution of those who have been able to return to their communities or have sought new lives in their country of refuge or resettled in a third country.

The theme of this year’s World Refugee Day is “Real People, Real Needs,” and the posters of three young people here today tell the story better than I can.

On this day we also salute the courage, the determination and the resilience of refugees. Today we will hear from Kagendra and Ganga Baral, Bhutanese refugees resettled in Phoenix. They will tell the story of their flight, their struggles as refugees, and the new life they now have in the United States.

We will also hear from Rose Mapendo, a resettled refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo and a founder of Mapendo International, an organization that protects vulnerable African refugees and resettles them to the United States. Rose survived 16 months of imprisonment in the DRC.

I want to end my brief remarks by paying tribute to UNHCR and its staff for their amazing efforts to improve the plight of humanity by assisting nearly 32 million refugees and others of concern around the world, often putting their own lives at risk. Much of UNHCR’s work takes place in difficult and dangerous places. We note with sadness the senseless loss of life of UN humanitarian workers in Pakistan this month, including from UNHCR. While refugees continue to face challenges throughout the world, some languishing in refugee camps without a solution in sight, it is encouraging to see the progress being made by the international community in resolving longstanding refugee situations in places such as Liberia, South Sudan, Burundi, and Bhutan.

I’m very proud that the United States is the world leader in supporting UNHCR, and am grateful for our wonderful partnership with High Commissioner Antonio Guterres and his terrific staff. We are proud to be UNHCR’s strongest donor and supporter, covering approximately 25% of UNHCR’s budget. In Fiscal Year 2008, we contributed over $500 million in support of UNHCR programs.

The United States is working hard to enable those who have fled to return home in safety and dignity, and to provide those unable to return home either an opportunity to locally integrate in their countries of asylum or to start their lives anew in the United States. Our commitment to resettling refugees remains strong, with our history of resettling the largest number of refugees per year.

Finally, I would like to recognize and congratulate the winners of the poster competition and welcome them to Washington. We appreciate the fine work of UNHCR, the participating schools, teachers and children for raising awareness of the needs of refugees around the world – including the needs of refugee youth. This effort by American school children to reach out to children less fortunate than themselves is in the best tradition of America.

Okay, one last attempt to inform you of MY POINT OF VIEW. When Angie first began, i loved her in Hackers, then i loved her in Tomb Raider’s one and two. I admired her for her single motherhood, in your face lifestyle since she was not affecting anyone other than her own family. When the new Angelina Jolie emerged immediately after her adulterous affair with Brad Pitt on the set of MAMS, and with reports of their meetings (By Jeryl Brunner

    updated 9:56 a.m. ET, Mon., April 6, 2009

In fact, when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” they
often stayed in the presidential suite at the Pacific Palms Resort, 23 miles
from downtown Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley and were mostly unnoticed.
The 650-acre resort lies on top of a hill and a quarter mile above street level
so it was hard to track them down.
From MSNBC News) I began to question her motives and morals as many young girls emulate their favorite movie actor. She and Brad were so in your face with their sexual adventures, that any decent woman would be offended, whether she had personally gone through a like situation or not ( i have not)…then the rest of it started, the infamous W spread, the trips to Africa with full squad of paps along, and it snowballed on. My reference to Mz Aniston is in no way a Team this or Team that, but an example of another female actor who had done a lot of charity work without the huge press involvment. In short, IMO, Jolie is a narcissist who demands, no….needs….mass attention to feel accepted and loved. Her mother admitted her to a mental hospital as a young girl when she quit communicating with others, her father announced she was mental and he and Marcia Lynne had known it since she was a baby, so…why hide one’s head in the sand, why not bring it all out and perhaps she will seek help before her publicity whoring causes grave danger to others…..If…i repeat…IF…she would accept mental heath help, change her life around, become a real mother to her collection of childres..it would certainly change my view.

Hiya Lady, I know it’s been a bit. I been on but haven’t posted much cos of LT troubles, and really the shit that was flying at Keane , Kate, and other reg’s. I figure it would die down, and poke my head back in.
Not much with AJ other than her political angle she’s using now, she has become quite predictable with her publicity sweeps, and when and how she uses current events to stay relevant and as a form of deflection. She’s just cleaning up her mess from Cannes. IMO, pictures speak a thousands words, and she looked and acted ridiculous, and IMO did not fool very many people.
I really hope that HC does not engage AJ in any of her sanctimonious acts of self-importance, in any forum, especially a televised one. IMO, I don’t think Hil could hide her disdain for Jolie and vs.
Anyway, beautiful day, got to get back to laundry, BB in a bit.

I think she might have been a bit more sincere in days gone by, I highly doubt she’s doing it now with all the money she’s earning, unless it is a handy tax write-off. And why on earth did she feel she had to tell everyone about it? There is just no need to inform other people IMO. Especially as I would consider that if you make multi-millions for doing very little, being wealthy enough to donate a third of those millions to charity is a privilege rather than a noble gesture. Wouldn’t we all love to be able to help people in need in that way? I couldn’t think of anything more satisfying. And once you’ve got enough millions, I’m sure you run out of things to spend it on anyway. It’s not like she would ever have had to go without something for herself to donate money to a charitable organisation. Well, maybe a few multi-million dollar properties and trips on private jets I guess, perhaps she had to forgo one or two of those! I take it all back, she’s a veritable saint! Ha ha.

So she wouldn’t actually be losing a penny then would she? It would just be the tax payer who lost it? Is that how it works, if you donate x amount to charity then that is deducted from the amount of tax you have to pay. Or does it work as a percentage, like if you donate a third of your income to charity then you still pay tax but not as much as you otherwise would have done? Do the highest earners pay 40% tax in the US as they do here? (Well its 50% now for people earning over £150,000, but that is very recent).

@Keane Cyber Queen Supreme:35% here over $300,000.00, there is a limit to the charitable deductions when you get above a certain amount. Creative accountants find ways of reducing your income. Actors are self employed, they work off of contracts so they can claim all kinds of deductions, it’s not unusal for them not to pay any taxes at all.

Wow, that is not a lot of tax! People in the UK pay 40% for £30,000+ (used to be $60,000 sadly now about $45,000 or less maybe). Under that is 22%. But I guess we do get free health care for all (apart from a standard charge for prescriptions) and mostly free university tuition. I guess in the US people spend what they save in tax on health insurance and saving for college. What are the lower level(s) of taxation?

Angelina Jolie wants to follow in the footsteps of Audrey Hepburn.

In a new interview with NBC’s The Today Show, Jolie — who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt – admits that she hopes to someday be able to help as many people as the Breakfast at Tiffany’s star.

“I’m lucky to be in this,” Angelina said, referring to her role as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, “And I’m sure Audrey Hepburn felt the same.”

Hepburn — who died in 1993 — spent almost 40 years championing the cause of impoverished children across the globe. In 1992, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work and, like Angelina, was also a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador.

“She was the fortunate one to be able to meet all those kids around the world,” explains the Changeling star. “You know, we’re just in a very fortunate situation that we get to be able to give a voice to these extraordinary people.”

“There’s been refugees since the dawn of time,” she adds. “And I’m sure, you know, my children will be visiting and learning from refugees in the future.”

Audrey Hepburn wrote this poem when asked to share her beauty tips. It was read at her funeral years later.

Audrey Hepburn’s Beauty Tips and Other Words to Live By

    a. For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

    b. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

    c. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

    d. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.

    e. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

    f. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

    g. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

Audrey Hepburn was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF in 1989. She began doing field visits for them in 1988 and completed eight field visits before her death. She also contributed to UNICEF by lobbying the US Congress for their funding and participating in other PR work. She died In January 1993. Before her field visits and Ambassador work she would record occasional PSA spots for them most notably in the middle 1950s. It’s a stretch and untruthful to say she performed all this work for them for forty years she did not really start her serious work for them until near the end of her life.

I also adored Audrey Hepburn for all the typical reasons and greatly admired her courage in her field work and her devotion to UNICEF but I see no need to exaggerate the time she spent performing very worthwhile work for UNICEF.

Why is accuracy so hard to come by here?

As for Patty Anne’s citation of the following as “proof” of anything:

I also read that article IIRC at Forbes or something similar and I had to laugh. The Pacific Palms Resort is where the entire cast and crew of Mr. and Mrs. Smith stayed for periods of time during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The resort could not be more prominent and visible. It is not on the top of some mountain or even in a secluded area. It is in the midst of a number of freeways. 23 miles from downtown Los Angeles is practically on LA’s boundary. This guy is playing fast and loose with facts to sell a story. This is how people can turn a nothing report into something salacious for a profit. Further, if one checks the resort’s website there are two Presidential Suites at the resort.

I cannot imagine that it was hard to track down the huge cast and crew of a major motion picture shooting so close to the studios and right next door to LA. So clearly the article tells us a big fat nothing. If what the writer is trying to imply was true we would have heard of this years before now.

Re: Diiferent guest. I have no idea why she was given that award. Maybe you can find that out. 1976 was the year she returned to acting in Robin and Marian. Perhaps she had participated in some fundraiser or event for children.

No, I’m retty sure she really wasn’t involved with them except as I noted. As I said in my post Audrey did do some PSAs for UNICEF but no real work for them until 1988. Perhaps you remember seeing one of the ads. She certainly wasn’t doing this work in the 60s or 70s. IIRC she participated in some childrens’ music festival overseas with the proceeds going to UNICEF. Right after that I think she was prompted to go to UNICEF and volunteer her services. She approached them. They started her on field missions and then the next year made her a Goodwill Ambassador. She became a PR maven for them and threw herself into her work giving tons of speeches, press conferences, interviews, photo opportunities, testifying before Congresss, fundraising. She did a remarkable job for them and raised their awareness and a lot of money for them. ven though they had a pretty high profile through the 50s and 60s – UNICEF’s visibility and thus their fundraising ability had sort of gone out of “style” for a while there.

It was really wonderful that since she died so young that she was able to spend her last years doing this important work. She was diagnosed with cancer in 1991 only a few years after she started her work. If she had waited even a few years to approach UNICEF she may never have been able to accomplish what she did and leave this beautiful legacy.

Or just clever marketing? The thing is deep down these people know that they are no more special, interesting or worthy of attention than the next person. It really undoes all your illiusions when you meet a few of them, they are exactly the same as you and I. They speak adn behave in exactly the same way. They are no more charismatic or interesting than the person you sit next to in your office. (Although I will give them that they are usually much better looking than your typical person, film is not a flattering medium, you tend to have to be super good-looking to look average on TV etc). But they somehow have to construct the illusion that they are more special, unique and worthy of our attention than the next person. And if they don’t have any particularly great talent – an exceptional singing voice, an incredible acting ability or amazing dance moves – then they have to try to make them seem worthy of that attention in other ways, to convince people they are more interesting than your next door neighbour for example. And that it was their PR people are there for, to promote the uniqueness and specialness of their client. Make us all believe they are worth watching or listening to. Channeling people who have already achieved that status is just one other way of doing that. I don’t think AJ is insecure at all, I think she thinks she’s the bomb! She’s just trying to make herself into an icon like Audrey. And I think that recent little performance with Anderson Cooper was all about coming across as a warm, likable, kind and non-threatening type of individual i.e. “I really don’t know very much, I just get so upset when I think about poor refugees and I am not a political person at all” etc. Yeah right! She uses every trick in the book IMO.

BTW someone mentioned to me that when people fracture their elbow it can often take weeks for the swelling to go down before it can be operated on. So unless HC has magic elbows it is more than possible she might have ducked out of that interview on purpose IMO!

@Keane Cyber Queen Supreme:She’s failing miserably. She’s not that interesting or intelligent. Audrey Hepburn simply lived her life, she didn’t manufacture her genuine interest in other people.

@Liz E.:She may not have been working for UNICEF but she did work for the United Nations on behalf of children since the 1950s. Did you even bother to read what the award was for? Her work with the children the world over. Nothing at all to do with Robin and Marian

    ++++++++++++++++++++

Yes, of course I read it but it doesn’t tell you anything specific. What was the work you speak of? It’s just a typical award notation and it could be for something as simple as attending or contributing to fundraisers or the public service announcements she did for UNICEF. Other than that there is not one mention anywhere or by the UN itself that Hepburn did anything for them before 1988. If you can come up with more info then please do so. I am afraid you are just making assumptions about her work prior to 1988. An award tells me nothing – not even that she really did anything.

Stop reading fan sites which always try to puff up their subject and go read the UN tribute to her. The UN adored her and I am positive that they would not hide any meaningful work she did for them.

I pointed out the 1976 film Robin and Marian because when someone is in the limelight again many organizations find all kinds of ways to honor them – deserved or not – because it attracts attention to their cause and the celebrity’s attendance – especially Audrey Hepburn’s attendance – at any of their functions draws a crowd and more support. That’s how you get someone to come to your gala – you give them an award. Presto – tons of good press.

This isn’t worth arguing over. I’m sure we can agree Audrey Hepburn was a wonderful person. If and when you have any facts it would be nice to read them. Thanks.

@Liz E.:Not a fan site, dear, I’m old enough to remember the work she did in the sixties and the interviews she gave. Unlike the whore Jolie she always loved children and did whatever she could, wherever she could, without turning them into a personal photo op circus.

Differen Guess-why so hateful of Jolie. How do you know Jolie’s a whore? Do you live in her private part? How do you know that her UN work is not genuine? I happen to believe it is. Please show me some proof to prove otherwise and that she has whore.

    @Keane Cyber Queen Supreme:

I would think as intelligent as you try to come off. You wouldn’t fall for this bs. Do you honestly believe a meeting would have been scheduled ,if HRC disliked Jolie? Common sense.

    @Gueswho:

It’s not about personally liking or dislikng someone, it’s about distancing yourself from someone in a public forum who may be about to have some very damaging info come out about them in the media in the not too distant future. (Ian’s and Morton’s books for two). HC still has her eye on the top job. She would not want anything or anyone to taint her in the eyes of the general public. You do the math. Oh and BTW, there is no such thing as “common sense” and I’m not trying.
