The designer is Betony Vernon – she has a number of different lines she produces, plus commissioned pieces. HOWEVER, AJ is wearing a piece from her sex collection – jewelry that doubles as sex toys/stimulators. AJ’s wearing a puffer. I guess the gal always has sex on the brain…

Doug Pitt announces $1 million Pitt family donation.
As a St. Jude affiliate, St. John’s will require more specialists on its staff.
In response, Doug Pitt announced the Brad Pitt family, Doug and Lisa Pitt and Rob and Julie Neal will donate $1 million to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at St. John’s.
In honor of their mother, the center will be renamed St. John’s Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.
When the St. John’s Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center opens this summer, it will temporarily be located fifth floor of the hospital’s west pavilion.
There are future plans to add a new 31 pediatric unit, a 10-bedroom hospital-based Ronald McDonald House; and double the size the neonatal intensive and pediatric intensive care units.
St John’s Auxiliary has pledged $1 million to help fund this expansion and other projects.

Thank you, yes he is better, as old as he is he is still my little boy. I have never have one mishap with my daughter but my son has given me many sleepless nights like this with accidents. Once he was on a trip in another country and I got a call he was stung by a box jelly fish and was in shock, badly. Did anyone ever see that movie with Will Smith , Seven Pounds? whew.

Replymorning all. i have found that to ignore people looking for a fight is the best as it is so much energy wasted to argue with people that want to fight as this is the only way they receive attention, maybe they are in a an unhappy relationship or a bad family . i also believe that they have the right to disagree but not attack people personally, but maybe they have a fury temper and cannot help attacking sometimes as it has happened with me when i get angry and then i realize that i am just making myself drop down to the perps level and have tried to stop attacking people because of their different views and skip their posts.

OMG: You did hear that The New York Times reported that Jolie is a master p.r. manipulator, didn’t you? That she bargains for positive press with the likes of People Magazine and other publications? She even calls the shots with her so called “editorial plans” that she dictates to the mags.
Soooooo….why would it be such a stretch that she has people watching what Ian writes here? Ian has put out a lot of info about AJ that is not positive. Being the controlling person the NYT describes, it would almost NOT make sense that she wasn’t watching blogs and other media outlets. Or, at minimum, her minions are.
I remember on Huffington Post, there was a poster named GrandyK who would show up on every AJ thread with information that was never out in the media to defend every last word that was ever said about AJ that wasn’t positive. We always asked how that poster got such intimate insider information about AJ but that question was never answered.

Under any negatvive or off-brand story about Ange there is a comment from an alleged “insider” who just happened to stumble on this story/site and just so happened to work on that very film Ange was working on on and the time and just so happened to be able to give an absolutely categorical assertion that the story was not true based on this assertion. Ange and her people have been all over the internet for years. There is a lot of very damaging stuff on her to try to keep quiet after all. Plus she has her eyes on government – ha ha!

Making BBC comedy Personal Affairs in the shadow of the River City set in damp Dumbarton might feel a little flat after Los Angeles.

But her pal Angelina Jolie has taught the stunning actress – who plays a bitchy boss in the show – how to keep her feet on the ground.

Archie, 34, starred with the Oscar-winning beauty in A Mighty Heart, the acclaimed true story of the search for kidnapped American journalist Daniel Pearl.

Meeting Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt – who helped produce the film – proved a lesson in humility.

Archie said: “Angelina Jolie was phenomenal to work with. We got on very well. I’m still friends with her.

“You go thinking, ‘What will she be like? What’s Brad Pitt going to be like?’ But I’ve met hundreds of actors with more arrogance than those two. That’s the biggest shock.

That was interesting, particularly this bit which I didn’t really know about before:

I didn’t know she posed for photos collecting her mother’s personal effects, how anyone could bear to do that is beyond me. I know she used the death to get sympathy when she teared up at the press conference after Aniston’s “uncool” comment though, and has used it since when James Haven compared her current weight loss to how she stopped eating “after their mother died” – quite clearly another sympathy ploy to bring it up again. I have to say above all things that she has done for publicity, hooking up with a married man, getting knocked up, adopting children etc, this to me is by far the most abhorrent. It is so abhorrent that I genuinely find it dffficult to believe that she could/would do it. Did she not love her mother? Because if she did I can’t understand how she could possibly use her death in that way. And her brother too. Is it really possible that someone could be so utterky devoid of feeling? And people wonder where she gets the “evil” epithets from! It is totally incomprehenisble to me.

Hm she didn`t “pose for pictures” she was photgraphed while entering the hospital were her mother stayed! Just like Kate`s beloved Jen just happened to be photographed while she walked several blocks hugging her last boyfriend John Mayer. But sarcasm aside paps follow both parties and yes they photograph both of them because it earns them a lot of money. ReplyWe all are aware that Angie’s father and another family member have commented about her mental illness, and that it was first noticed by family members in early childhood (Marcia Lynne took her to a mental hospital for treatment at one point)….and this flat affect is often one of the symptoms of serious mental illness. The total lack of feeling, caring, concern…..i pity those around her who depend upon her without realizing that she is so ill….imo
mia. if you love and appreciate what your parent has done you would have spend every moment with them near the end and said no to trapsing all of the world as well as making a movie knowning that your parent does not have much tme left. even when a mother or father says carry on with your life they actually would like you to be around but don’t want to beg for your attention. my father had demensure and we where there to change his nappy and look after him as we refused to have him hospitalized and only see him when the hospital allowed it. my cousin looked after her mother the last 4 months and spend every day making her food and her husband and kids supported her she was with her mother when she passed away and she was not rich like lollie she actually gave up her baking which helps support her family because her mom needed her more. that is what i admire about family who’s hearts are in the right place.

Mia 9 out of 10 of every pap photo I have seen of Brangelina have clearly been prearranged. You can tell because they make sure they are dressed up very smartly, have immaculate hair and make-up and make sure the photogs get a set of good, clear shots of their faces by making sure they walk slowly enough for the camera to capture them. I have not seen this particular set of photos but all others that I have seen of Brange, apart from one where they are dashing into the back entrance of a hotel from a car and the photog only gets a side view of her face as she is deliberately turning away from him, are clearly prearranged, staged “candid” photos. And yes you are right the paps make a lot of money out of those photos but Brange make as much if not more (from what I hear it used to be 50/50 on the picture sales but now Brange take 2/3, so more than the pap agency). If we’re talking about AJ visiting her mother in hospital the paps would have had to track down totally confidential info about where she was being treated. It would not have been easy for them to do that and it probably wouldn’t be in their favour as by invading the privacy of the most famous woman in the world at such a sensitive time would destroy their relationship with her forever. For the sake of one set of shots it would not be worth them wasting a lifetime of income. (Even the first pics of Brange together on the beach in Namibia, taken by the Big Picture agency, were only worth a million quid I believe to the agency. Yes that’s a lot of money, but nowhere near as much as they or which ever agency they are now with would have made since. I tend to think it is probably Big Picture because those Namibia shots were prearranged by her). So yeah, I haven’t seen the photos of her at the hospital but chances are they were prearranged by her. But yes, there is nothing wrong with forming your own opinions, however misguided they may be in this instance and others.

Replyjan, it sounds to me that you have a very loving and close family. Our true riches in this lifetime are family, imo. It’s heart warming to see someone who feels that way also. I nursed my mother who died of lung cancer 10 years ago….broke my heart, but i felt i needed to be with her while i still could. I miss her every day still. there was no way i could continue with life as usual, and hire someone to do my job with my mom, it was my privledge and honor to ease her passing….God bless her soul@jan:

ReplyThis is just one of many times I have heard similar reports but from production staff. The consensus, AJ is a class act and a consummate professional. She’s on set on time and prepared to work. She takes direction without taking offense. She knows her lines and doesn’t argue the directors vision of them. She is polite with everyone on the set, top to bottom and clearly knows they have a job to do just like she does. She knows what is expected from experience and gives it, often without being asked. She knows she is working and doing a job, unlike the majority of actors who are there to have their egos nursed.
FYI, ya’ll need to take a look at your egos if you think AJ would bother sending minions anywhere, let alone to a site as insignificant as this one. You may feel big and powerful when you are here but, at most, one person feels more negatively towards AJ, 20 feel the urge to defend her against what are clearly fantasy.

Mia, no-one can prove the exact percentage they receive from picture sales unless they have access to either the agency’s or Brangelina’s accounts. So unless anyone fancies breaking into the agency’s offices and stealing their accounts, we aren’t going to get it. But believe me when I say it is not at all uncommon for celebs to have deals with pap agencies for prearranged supposedly “candid” shots. It is widespread and is a major source of revenue for a lot of celebs, from the A to the Z list. The difference is that Brange can command by far the highest fees because they are the most famous, most marketable couple in the world. They can dictate their terms and the agency will go along with it. I would have thought most celebs get more like a third of profits from picture sales. A half to 2/3 is high.

ReplySince Father’s Day is coming up, and I recently saw a article that said Brad was chosen over a few other actors as the choice for the one to wear the Daddy Day under wear I wanted to take a monent to cast my vote for a man in Hollywood who I respect, who I have always liked, feel is genuine, a good father, humble, and gracious.

He has to be the one behind all these articles released to In Touch and Star, and I don’t think he would do that without her approval now that they are friends again. There are just too many little signs, the way she casually jokes, the donation to St Judes, the necklace. Brewing behind the scenes. For Ian to have said it he would have to have a source who has signed a release form which I assume would cover him with regard to legal issues too i.e. this person agrees to stand by their statement in court should be be sued. ReplyI would love to believe that Brad has waken from his Angie induced sleep state, and come to realize what a major jackass he’s been….to Jennifer most of all. Brad’s bro, Doug, announced the generous contribution to St. John’s Hospital in his hometown of Springfield Saturday. The money will establish an endowment fund to pay children’s cancer specialists, the Springfield News-Leader reports.

As to speculation about a celebrity’s sexual preference, well, imo, they are open to any and all speculation by the very public that supports their lifestyle. They are aware of the consequences when they choose to become a celebrity, or hope to anyway. Fans want to know all about their favorite entertainers, the good, the bad, and yes even the ugly. It’s nature to wonder about someone who is put on a giant screen for you to view every little wrinkle, hair, etc. They , in a way, sell rights to their lives to us who pay for the tickets to view their films, buy their books, rent their DVD’s. It’s a trade off they willingly take. There are laws in place to protect them, or any U.S. citizen from false accusations, harmful inuendos etc. That’s why speculation is just that….speculating. When it is said in Quotes, Joe Blow said, ” yadda, yadda, yadda” it’s the same as Joe Blow being here and telling us that statement in his own voice….and he can and will be held accountable in a court of law to prove what he’s said about a celebrity. No one means any harm to Jennifer Aniston, and i for one love her for what a terrific person she is….and i really don’t care if she is a lesbian, or bi-sexual or hetrosexual. It’s her inner qualities that i so admire. Yeah ITA, I just think it shouldn’t matter. It shouldn’t be a big deal what she is: straight, bi or gay. It’s just a biological characteristic like eye colour. Believe me when I say there are many very feminine women out there who just happen to be attracted to other women. PA, life is not being kind to Brad , he is getting his in more ways than he ever imagined. I am a big believer in forgiveness, and that includes Angelina if she pulls her life together for her children. I believe by now Brad is fully award of his mistakes. I know many believe Jen was to play MP, she wasn’t, she was never going to play that role. She did get the rights to it, and Brad did form Plan B for Jen to do more movies, but they had not decided on who would play MP. Jolie just took the role, from Jen in a sense because it was her project, but MP offered it to her. Brad was uncomfortable with it. just a little fyi there.

How is he paying for it now? I also would like to know how you know for certain, Angelina is this witch you seem to potray her as? How would you know Jen is as classy as you seem to think she is? I think you answered your own question. Why would someone keep making up stories? How convient of some to say “Her sexuality doesn’t matter” But, it’s okay for Angelina to be accused of beastiality etc.. There definitey is some sort of double standard here.
Imo Brad and Jen are deliberately putting out into to make sure no one knows what they are really doing and Jolie puts out fake sources to muddy the waters. I don’t beleive Brad and Jolie are together, I do believe Brad and Jen are friends and are close, more than that who knows.
I don’t believe that Jen will be with a woman, I am not convinced that Brad is even bisexual beyond some experimenting, and same with Jen, I think they both are basically heter

As far as Angelina Jolie and Mr Pitt go, they are still on. There is nothing that Angelina would put out that, Brad would not give the go ahead on. They are very much still a couple and it’s not all for PR. Rest assured there will be an actual marriage between the two. Yes. They are also working behind the scenes on the more humanitarian side of things regarding Darfur. It’s not all talk and for PR purposes. Lastly, I’m not a plant for AJ or BP. I’m someone who might be in the know. I don’t have to lie the facts will speak for themselves.

ReplyI don’t know Sunny, but I have a feeling that IAN is looking closely at everything. There are some sources he trusts completely and he has his reasons that we do not know. The ones he may not feel that way about could be ones that he has not had a long history with and they have not proven themselves over time. Toni is the one who said she dined with J the week before she came to IAN to spill the goods and said she slept with both of them and Brad told her he though Jen was a lesbian. Now the reason that does not work for me is that Brad and Jen have always claimed to talk it all out and it would defie logic that one would not sit down and put this on the table, espcially if he himself is sleeping with men and has been for 25 years, right? ITA with you, we were all uncomfortable with it. I would bet my house that the source was instructed to act on behalf of Ange and here we go again making Jen the scapegoat for Brange’s bad behaviour. I can see why that would bother someone, especially if they were a fan of Jen. But I just think so many women in HW are gay or bi, it is very normal and i wouldn’t be surprised about it at all. There are so many lesbians in theatre, a much higher proportion than in other fields I have found. Being gay myself I could easily see her being that way but would understand that many people would find it hard to believe, as they usually do with me. I also think Brad is a very effeminate, pretty looking man. The one boyfriend I had in my life looked something like him. I think he would appeal to someone who liked girls. He used to (almost) appeal to me! I don’t know anyway, I’m not too bothered what Jen is at the end of the day but I think when it comes to it Ian will be pretty fair to her in his book. I am not in that camp, I think the kids are fine, Brad I believe is good father, not like Opi, but for as much as he knows to be, and the kids are wll taken care of, loved, not abused, have loving grandparents. They may not get as much time as some kids with mom and dad, but nor do many kids in the US with parents that work 50-60 hours a week. Kids that are dropped off in dayvare at 6am, picked up at 6pm, taken home, bathed, eat dinner, bed time at 8pm, get 2 hours a day, now in comparison to an actor that may get to spend weeks at a time or days, that is no too bad.
What are the chances the kids are seeing a lot of fighting in those big mansions? Seriously, they have nannies, probably not much. How bad can it really be for them?

LOL, that is funny but so true, they just look dirty together don’t they. Angelina looked really beautiful before she was with Brad. When she was in Alexander ,the Premier (well I guess if they were together 18 months he was with her then) she was stunning. Remember that , I have taken a lover at the end of 2003, if they were together for 18 months that is him. That is really dispicable on her part to make a blatant statement like that and drone on about the sex, and worse for Brad to put Jen through it. Even if she knew, what was she suppose to do in that situation. She might have told him she does, but I don’t think she did. It is to big a decision based on assumption. I’m sure Angie would not be worried if Jen was gay and Angie does still worry about Jen and Brad. Brad and Angie don’t look right together, but if they are happy it is better for every one for them to stay together, but I don’t see any happiness in either of them. Here he is in the middle of his life, about to start the descent into older age range, and he’s still trying to find The Woman. It’s sad actually. To me it seems he is looking for someone else to resolve his personal issues so he can find peace in life. There is no “perfect woman” or man for that matter. ReplyIn four short years…the public has seen Brad and Angie ride the fast train to Hell. Angie looked out of her mind drunk or on drugs at Canne…one photo shows her with one eye half shut the other wide open, and neither eye was looking in the same direction…no muscle control over the direction imo. She would have been horrified at that photo just a year ago, when she still had self esteem. Brad has aged enormously though, but compared with Angie, it is she who appears to have had the life sucked out of her. ToxicDuo is such an appropriate term for their pairing. Reading about Z’s possibly having RAD, and seeing how Shiloh acts either extremely shy or angry, Maddox looks to me as if he just wants a knife, a gang, and a bike, Pax, ah, poor Pax, a stranger in his own home. The twins? they are blank chalkboards to me. Very strange, and not happy family imo. What do they call the many nannies who come and go from their lives? Mommy Nannie One, Two , Three?….poor kids. I think he would try and keep the darker stuff quiet for a couple of reasons 1) his kids. Well let’s hope not, and what PA says about Angelina. They both really need to get their lives together for their beautiful children. You know Brad must have a dark demon driving that congential sadness if he can not get it together. He has all he has ever wanted, the fame, fortune, the children, all except what? What is missing for him? Something has to be for him to be on this merry go round. IAN said that In Touch was going to break a story this week concerning lawyers for both sides, that it would be a big story, so maybe they are coming to some kind of an agreement for the children. If all the stories are true about Angelina, I do hope Brad gets the kids until she can get her life together. Not forever, I believe she loves her children and I don’t want to see her lose them permanently, but just til she can work things out for herself safely. It should really be what is best for the children, and I would love to see her slack off from films , be more of a mom and devoted to her causes, that I believe is really what he calling is. Totally, and I believe, unlike some that Angelina is intelligent, she is self taught and well read. I really don’t think she’s going to listen anyone in regard to what might be best for the children particularly if there are disabilities involved. Replybb14. This is from Down Under in one of our mags just out. Apparently despite rumours that Brad and Jen didn’t meet up at the Hotel, they did according to the Hotel Manager. He said they were together. I know it is true I don’t get paid for lying or telling the truth, but they were here for a good 2 hours. Jens Limo driver stated that when they reached the Hotel Jen rang Brad and said “I’m here.” Jen has always made sure that the door would be open if Brad wanted to pick up where they left off. After Brad found out thru his Mother Jane that Jen was happy to meet up they began to talk on the phone about it. Brad discovered how upset Jen really was after they split up says an insider I think he’d always figured she coped well because she seemed so upbeat but Jane told Brad the truth. Jen has been carefully planning for the moment when she can see Brad openingly says a source close to the actress “Her dreams of being able to be seen with Brad again are coming true.” As stated, Ange has now decided to forget about Brad and move on. They have been sleeping in separate houses on the estate and staying clear of each other.

Mia, there are many, many things that go on in the world which are known by people but are not openly stated to the general public. It would not be in the pap agency or Brangelina’s interest to reveal they have a deal, so I can’t provide you with the proof you seek. It may well be revealed publicly by someone party to the information at a later stage though, these things often come out eventually. If you only believe things that you have hard proof for then why come to these sites at all? Most stories are based on what sources say about people/events as opposed to coming from the horse’s mouth. And BTW, just because something comes from the horse’s mouth, doesn’t mean it is true either. Celebs and their PRs lie all the time.

I was approached by a woman in London talking about human rights in Iran and felt sick about what we discussed. Their system of crime and punishment is not dissimilar to Taliban-governed Afghanistan, it is truly repulsive. I feel so badly for the Iranian people. Yes I agree, I don’t know about personality disorders or whether she suffers from one but I do think what she cares about most in life is fame, money and power. The look of hatred she gave Anne Hathaway when she won the award over her said it all to me. And I do think she cares about her HW career, I think that was the ulterior motive for hooking up with Brad and doing all the incessant PR ever since. She wanted to be Queen of HW and get first pick at all the roles. And I think the children were probably just tools in that scheme too. But yeah I agree with Kate that she wants to conquer the political world next, but she wants to conquer HW first for sure. I can’t say for sure what drives her personally to do all this but my guess would be that she is emotionally detached from people, doesn’t feel love so doesn’t understand how much more important that is in life than achieving things. There is a void in her life where love should be so she tries to fill it up with her career, status and personal achievements. It may be due to some sort of personality disorder but I think there are people in the world who care more about their career/fame than their personal lives and will do anything to achieve/maintain it (Posh Spice for one), so I don’t think it is necessarily so. I think she gets a buzz or a thrill from what she does which she gets more from than her relationships. I would guess she has been damaged in some way because of this but again it is jusst a theory. I personally just can’t understand people who care more about career than love because I am the exact opposite. JMO.

In an emotional interview on Thursday’s ”Access Hollywood,” Jon Voight went public about his estrangement from daughter Angelina Jolie, pleading with her fans and handlers to see that she gets help for unspecified ”mental problems” now that she’s split with husband Billy Bob Thornton. He blamed himself for failure to act on her behalf, and he also begged his daughter to let him see his grandchild, the baby she and Thornton adopted just months before she filed for divorce last month.
Voight says his daughter, who won an Oscar for playing a mental patient in ”Girl, Interrupted,” began showing signs of mental illness as an infant. (He divorced Jolie’s mother before their daughter was a year old but says he remained a presence in her life.) He said he was ”brokenhearted…because I’ve been trying to reach my daughter and get her help, and I have failed and I’m sorry. Really I haven’t come forward and addressed the serious mental problems she has spoken about so candidly to the press over the years, but I’ve tried behind the scenes in every way.”
He said he had confronted his daughter a number of times. During the making of ”Girl,” he said she told him, ”You can’t help me! You can’t help my pain!” They had a brief reconciliation when they worked together on ”Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” but it didn’t last. He said he tried to greet her recently at a Hollywood party, but her manager blocked him and said, ”She doesn’t want to see you.” (The manager tells the story differently, telling ”Access Hollywood” that he interceded because Voight ”aggressively, physically grabbed her against her will.”)
Because of his estrangement from his daughter, Voight said he hadn’t yet seen his grandson, Maddox, the year-old Cambodian boy Jolie and Thornton brought back to the U.S. in May. ”That is the greatest pain,” he said. ”I’d love to help out with the baby.”
Billy Bob Thornton, Voight’s son-in-law of two years, has problems too, Voight said. ”I never had the feeling that they were going to make it because of both of their serious problems, and they’ve both been very public about them, so I never really held out any hope.”
Jolie responded to Voight’s comments in a statement, saying ”I don’t want to make public the reasons for my bad relationship with my father. I will only say that, like every child, [brother] Jamie and I would have loved to have had a warm and loving relationship with our dad. After all these years, I have determined that it is not healthy for me to be around my father, especially now that I am responsible for my own child.”
Jolie is currently preparing to shoot the ”Tomb Raider” sequel, and producer Lawrence Gordon told ”Access Hollywood” that he was unaware of any problems she had that would jeopardize the big-budget franchise. ”I have an excellent team around her,” Gordon said. ”If there was a problem, I would know it.”
So…..the producer had her watched for signs of “trouble” while making Tomb Raider? Well, well. It’s not that big a secret after all….so….someone GET HER PROFFESSIONAL HELP…puhleezze!!

You ask me how I know that it is “a proven fact” that the twin pictures were sold for a huge figure? Well because the international photo agency that oversaw the deal and People mag who bought the pictures confirmed it. I would view that as enough proof! By the way what I DID read was that Brangelina used to set up photo ops in order to limit the paprazzi stalking. They agreed to one phot oportunity let`s say in India in exchange for being left alone by the paps for the rest of their stay. Looks like it was their way of dealing with the contsant pap harrassment. And believe me no pap agency that pays for the travel costs of their employees would be happy about their photographers returning empty handed. The same goes for freelancers that have to finance their own expenses.
And as for rumors that aren`t openly discussed well they are hearsay until proven true!

ReplySometimes mia, when a parent is so concerned, and has made every attempt to help a mentally ill child to no avail ( the money and power of AJ could hinder any attempts) a public intervention might have been the parent’s only recourse , in his mind. Marcia Lynne, AJ’s mom, admitted her to a mental institution when she was much younger, but AJ signed herself out without treatment just three days later. It will not go away with time, or heal itself. Sometimes the end product justifies the means to get there. For the safety of AJ, the kids, and even other people in her immediate life. One never knows with any certainty just what a mentally ill person is capable of doing, and some do pretty horrendous acts to harm themselves, and others…i pray someone will convince Angie to seek proper mental health care, for the sake of those six little ones if not for AJ’s sake. You have to look at what their agenda might be. There have been suggestions on this board that they might not have got all of that money because MAYBE People weren’t getting exactly what they thought they were paying for. I don’t know this for a fact obviously but that has been the implication here. And if that was the case, do you really think People would come out and tell the world that and tell the world why? No way. They will protect their money-makers and protect their own business. It wouldn’t do them or Brangelina any favours to reveal that if it indeed was the case. Although it surprises me that you suddenly ask for proof and act as if you were totally objective when you are ready to believe every single claim that Ian and or his sources put out without any proof. And really the fact that Ian once CLAIMED that he wanted one source (the Sudanese) to sign a release form is no proof that everything all his sources ever said about Jolie is true. I am sure (ex) members of their staff have their own agenda and reasons why they would want to hurt their (ex)employers.

Nope because you initially said $14 million which is an exact figure and that that was a “proven fact”. This is what you said:

That’s a totally categorical statement. The next time you revised it to a “HUGE SUM” because you realised the $14 million hadn’t been confirmed by anybody, it had just been speculated on by people and you had taken it as fact (like a lot of people have) even though there actually hasn’t been a confirmation of the precise figure at all it seems. A “huge sum” could be anything from $7 million to $100 million to a billion” couldn’t it? It could literally be anything. Nobody knows. Do you see how shaky the supposed “proven facts” are now Mia? You have to understand that most of the media world is not a place where “proven facts” necessarily abound. If someone says it is taken as the truth, without question and without anyone thinking about it too deeply. That’s how people get away with so much. The public on the whole don’t question too much about what they hear and rumours or PR stories are accepted as fact.
And what made you think I believe every story Ian has posted here? If you’d been reading the threads over the past few weeks I have said I actually don’t believe much of what has been written from “Toni”’s revelations about Jen’s sexuality onwards. I think most of them have been planted by AJ’s camp because they are clearly designed to get sympathy for her and make Jen the scapegoat again. I think Ian is being bamboozled with too many sources and information right now, as he has said. And yes of course staff members, colleagues, associates may also have an agenda, but you have to make a judgment about who has more to gain/lose than anybody else by lying? Sources telling Ian info on Ange may stand to lose their employment, their reputation and professional standing and gain what exactly? You genuinely think Ian has the resources to pay them? He is not a national newspaper. Ange and team sending her associates to leak positive or sympathy-garnering stories about her may help to save her career and thus protect not just her finanical interests but all the companies/professionals who make money out of her. That’s a big old motivation to lie. The only motivation people may have to sell negative stories on Ange is if they don’t like her and want to stitch her up, which is why he has to corroborate what they are saying with other independent sources. If he can do that then he has grounds to go ahead and publish, if he doesn’t then he is just opening himself up to being sued which is not, I suspect, his aim. Did I make it clear enough for you this time?

BUT I must say, Ian is printing what is most likely false information for the sole purpose of getting hits and you all are buying into it. Think people. Think about some of the things he has printed. They make no sense. And if they were true, Angie and Brad could trace it back to the source since things are so specific and that source would most likely be fired. As the years go buy on the Jolie-Pitt relationship, one thing’s for certain – Angelina has been a good influence on Brad’s charitable giving, especially for local issues affecting his home state of Missouri. Nope again Mia, we’re having big problems with you leaping to conclusions here and in general aren’t we? Check back over what stories have come out since then: that Ange is suicidal, the suggestion she was abused as a child, that she is pregnant, that she was raped, I don’t believe any of them. And all but one are pretty negative, unpleasant stories. On the contrary I do believe the story that Jen may be bi/gay, but I think it was deliberately planted by Ange’s team to take the heat off her. The whole thing is so biased to try to absolve Ange of any guilt over her affair (the “Jen knew about it for 18 months but did nothing to stop it” angle) that it was quite clear what the motivation was for leaking it and who it came from. These things really aren’t that hard to figure out if you just apply your mind.
As for the bestiality story well I asked Ian about that in one of his chats as a matter of fact because I wanted to see how strong the evidence was for it. I said “how much evidence is there for the bestiality story” and he said “there is a lot, a lot of evidence” so I’m assuming he has heard it from several reliable and independent sources. That is the basis on which I am judging that one. And as for the incest story, well Ange has kindly offered up a lot of evidence on that herself. Publicly lip-locking with your brother on not just one but several occasions while gripping him in a full-on, body to body embrace, and declaring to the world how “in love” with him you are “right now” when accepting an award is really the evidential basis on which I judge that story. But of course, as you say, it is up to everyone to make up their own mind about the stores on the basis of the evidence and reliability of the source as they see fit. So no mia I don’t automatically believe every negative story Ian tells me about Ange and disbelieve anything that may be construed as negative about Jen, I make a judgment on the basis of the evidence I have at my disposal. I hope that answers your question.

Yeah I’m not sure about the AJ vs John Voight stuff. Both AJ and James Haven seem to hate him so much and never shut up about it. Even in a recent interview Haven was bashing Voight, talking about the emotional abuse he inflicted on their mother I think and that he needed to get help for his problems. It just makes me think that there must be a reason there for that hatred. Children don’t tend to hate their parents without valid reasons, and certainly not when the parent is a HW star and their hatred is enunciated in a public forum. I’m not sure what their motivation would be in doing that. But I have no idea what the reason might be for their hatred. Who can say? I don’t know enough about Voight to make a judgment on that. AJ and JH say he was neglectful and emotionally abusive towards their mother, he says AJ has serious mental health issues. Well she has admitted to that herself. But what would be the advantage for a young actress to say such harmful things about her HW legend father unless there was a basis for it? I can’t see why she would be making it up. Perhaps Ian’s book will enlighten us with regard to that a bit more.

Bestiality is not such a rare thing. There was a doc on Channel 4 in the UK a few years ago where people in the US talked openly on camera about their sexual relationships with animals. It happens. And no, Ian saying there is “strong evidence” for it does not automatically make it true, it just makes it more likely to be true than otherwise. As for what evidence you would require to believe it well, as I keep saying, that is entirely your prerogative, I have no interest in whether you believe it or not or trying to convince you of it. ReplyDo you know what I completely fail to understand? This is a gossip blog. Some things, like the ‘rape’ story on Angie I find gratuitous and offensive and don’t comment. Other topics, like her general mendacity I do like to comment on and I find it amusing. That’s it, it’s not my life’s work, it’s just a bit of fun. In my job I have to mind my P and Qs so being very rude and unpleasant is quite a relief. So what puzzles me? Why attack someone personally? If you don’t like what someone says by all means disagree but to be rude to posters and make personal remarks about them is very poor and spoils what is an otherwise pleasant swamp of rear and loathing.

Don’t you think if Ian wanted to get hits for his site he may have gone for slightly less controversial subject matter though? I mean stories of bestiality, incest, child abuse and rape have put off more readers than he’s attracted lately I would have thought. Its not the greatest way to conduct a marketing campaign IMO. And there have been Brange stories on this site for a lot longer than the past few months. I’ve been reading them for a lot longer than I’ve been commenting here. It was between last summer and autumn time that I started reading here. I don’t know why the stories have stopped, but I have to say I was always amazed at the speed with which they were coming out before. Maybe he wants to hold the rest back for the book, otherwise we will all already know its content. That would be my guess. And before anyone says it, yes I AM IAN or I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT IAN or whatever. Might as well get that in before anyone else does!

Not really, his book for Michael Jackson comes out according to the website in July, Britney Spears in Feburary, and hopefully Brange in October. He has books to do PR for ongoing just as he has for the last ten years. This is nothing new for him, he does chats, he promotes his books, he does interviews. When he was promoting the one on James Taylor he promoted his music, when he promoted the one on Kurt Cobain he was on Court TV, when he promoted his book on Hollywood Undercover about Scientology he was on 60 minutes, IAN did not create this blog to promote his book for Guy, think logically. That is ridiculous, it just is not necessary. Now with that I am sure I will be called his cheerleader again, but this is just the facts. Anyone can google it for themselves.
I do agree it is frustrating not to have new stories to chat about after having them in rapid fire for so long, and I have no idea why he is missing in action these days. It would be nice if IAN would drop in and say hello or one of the others SR or Miss Nine.

Anything coming from Billy Bob has got to be an officially accredited Angie approved statement though. They have the same Manager and if BBT said anything she would be unhappy with he would effectively be facing the sack. I think they might have leaked that one out to distract from the fact that she’s currently with a woman and not into men any more. All the Angie approved sources have been very out there in that way: the suicidal story, the rape, and I think also the abuse implications. I mean what man in his right mind goes to a journo who writes tell-alls on celebs and says he raped the most famous woman in the world when she was still a minor? ReplyI liked Angelina when see wasn’t with Brad. She was a screwed up mess, but she did seem to truly Love Maddox. They seemed like a loving mother and son. But when she started with the knife stories and she set her cap for Brad damn whoever else was hurt she ruined any feelings I had for her. Jen didn’t deserve it and Brad truly did a horrible thing letting her try to hurt Jen. I liked Brad with Jen. But Angie brought out the worst in him. If they split and she is a fair and good mother I may like her again. But i’ll never like her with Brad. And Brad did do some strange things and I think he knew fairly quick she wasn’t who he wanted.

Yes, you both make valid points. However, without either new content or some kind of update from Ian, all of what any of us are saying is conjecture, circumstantial. Which is to say that with no evidence (Alexa does show this site with a 130% increase in the last 3 months) all that is left for any of us to do is wonder, speculate and theorize. Which makes this a chat room and not a gossip or celebrity blog. And also a good point about the topics and controversy. But there is no denying that those taboo topics built the web audience! Look, I am not putting Ian down. He seems like a nice enough guy. I have no beef with him personally. But from a business point of view (not to mention my own stupid love of gossip and conspiracies)-from a business point of view, the blog went from Win to Fail very quickly. Which makes it difficult to understand, at least to me.

I think she was in it for the publicity and to get a father for Mad and he was in it for the “Keane’s cat”! I think he thought he was in love with her because how couldn’t you be when the sex was that good. He wanted kids, she said “how many?”. He thought the new hair colour suited him and he’d wanted to get a tatt since he was 13 but had never had the guts until he met Jolie. Everyone was happy. But when the sex went from good to strange (and not in a good way!) and he realised she might actually have been admitted to a mental hospital for a legitimate reason he wasn’t quite so keen. By that time they already had x amount of children so he was kind of stuck. And the whole leaving his wife for a younger model didn’t help the situation much either I reckon. Both used each other for PR, her more so at first, him more so now. That’s how I reclon it went down. God I bet they can’t stand each other now!

Sorry to butt in, but imo, if Jon Voight were mentally ill there would be some obvious signs through his many years of film making, some sort of gossip would be out there. With Angie however, not only did she out herself about her mental condition, she bragged about certain activities such as cutting to feel relief from pain(??!!??) How that would relieve pain i have NO idea, look at her attraction to BBT, a man 20 years older than she, with whom she shared vials of blood, and had many times discussed publically their perverted sexual activities ( a room filled with adult toys? a la S & M) And yes her, S&M with Jenny Schimizu….many many signs of screaming for help, but sick enough in my opinion to refuse it when offered. Isn’t that why her mother had her committed to a mental institution when she quit speaking? I hate to say this, but this profile screams of a badly abused childhood, and i can’t but help question her mother’s revolving door b/f policy or the way she said she permitted her 14 y/o daughter’s b/f to move in with them….very bad parenting in anyone’s opinion@Kate:

ReplyHi Patty Anne – the little bit I know about “cutting onself” is this: (1) sometimes when children have an early sexual experience and it involves physical pain, then they associate pain with sex and somehow the pain becomes required in order for the sex to be pleasureable or (2) when someone has been extensively abused psychologically, they cut themselves (or burn themselves, or pinch themselves) in order to active their physical sensations to override the psychological numbing they have created to dull the psychological pain. I have been trying to read about it and understand it since it is such a strange phenomenon to me. Does these explanations make sense to you (since you have become my psychology mentor/reference on this site!)

I agree with an earlier poster who said they actually liked Angelina Jolie in her pre-Brad days, when she was mother to only Maddox, and a very obviously nurturing, loving mother to her son. Even her bad-azz attitude in film was attractive, but after hooking up with Brad, it soon became clear to any with an open mind, they were toxic for one another. It was downhill from then on. I can not stand her for what she has become, nor can i stand Brad for encouraging it in her, as well as in himself…for profit.

Did you read the actually article? Doesn’t really appear as they are laying the groundwork for a split. I thought Ian said they were already “kaput” ? Intouch changes their tune just like other tabs. Now,the latest is Brad brought Angie lingerie for her b-day yet, Jen’s name was somehow mentioned and it ended in a blow up. You would really have to be pretty hard up for gossip to believe any of that crap. The tabs have been saying there’s been trouble since the hook-up now they are moving on to year 6 together. I don’t doubt they have problems but, it would appear they are far from over. They aren’t immune to breaking up. So, if it happens then it’s won’t be shocking.
I think site was hit with a cease and desist. Or Ian has run out of shit to say about Brangelina. Not hard to believe. There was never proof to substantiate anything of his allegations.

That was genuinely hilarious which is terrible because it is such a serious subject matter. The problem with most actors is they are unable to speak without sounding like they’re performing a role. They can’t talk in a natural way, they have to take pauses for dramatic effect and emote like they’re angling for an Oscar. Bono is another prime offender. Do any of them ever realise how ridiculous they sound? If this is exemplary of Jolie’s public speaking skills then she wouldn’t even be able to run for office let alone win it. Talk about telling it like it is! Seems like Ian and Daryl are the only people in the worldwide media prepared to call Miss Jolie out on these things at the moment, except for that one NY Times piece. It was interesting that the comments section was almost exactly like IUC’s: lots of intelligent commenters and the odd loon saying you’re all jellis haters Angelina forever etc and even someone accusing another commenter of being Daryl in disguise! How funny. I guess this goes on all over the net; anyone who supports the blogger is automatically the blogger in disguise; anyone who writes anything negative about Angelina Jolie is automatically the same person writing under different uernames on every site, because how could more than one person in the world dislike her right? Yeah I think method acting is ok if you’re like Daniel Day Lewis and really throw yourself in to the part and suffer for your art but otherwise I think its just pretentious guff. Acting is just pretending/imagining anyway, you don’t have to keep doing it when the director yells cut! With most actors I tend to think “I’m a method actor” is short-hand for “I have no training” anyway! As for Ange well from bits I’ve seen of Changeling I think she can do “pretending to be a woman from a different period of history/society” well enough. What she can’t seem to do is convince the audience that she genuinely feels anything though. That performace was completely skin deep IMO. It was like she transformed herself into another person, but that person had the feelings and sensibilites of a robot. Much like that little performance on the refugee vid!

cutting can be a coping mechanism for physical/sexual/emotional abuse. cutting feels like a way to CONTROL the pain. since the person can’t get rid of the internal pain, they will attempt control it externally. common in borderline personality disorder, “depersonalization disorder” (where one feels like one is estranged from oneself).
what i can say from experience is that cutters like this tend to hide their scars and do not talk about it publicly. which leads me to believe that AJ got involved w/ it as a dare, or because she was sleeping w/ someone who did, or she thought it was cool. although i do see where she might have some BPD traits. IMO JMO

Hm, yes I knew a girl for a couple of years before I noticed she had scars all up the inside of both her arms. I was really shocked. I think she wore a lot of long sleeves to disguise it. When I first saw it I was so taken aback I immediately asked her about it and she just said “oh it was nothing, it was years ago”. It was clear it was something she was not proud about and didn’t want to discuss. Which is what you would expect from people who were genuine self-harmers I would have thought.

Yeah I don’t really buy that “I was playing a mental patient so I nearly went barmy stuff”, it’s acting. They have a full camera crew and equipment around them, they can never forget it isn’t real. Plus when you’re doing a film you probably only do an hour or two of acting a day, if that, especially if you’re not the lead part. Acting is just pretending, actors try to dress it up as more than it is. You never start thinking it is real and it is never more than a performance. I’ve played a mentally ill muderess before and to my knowledge I have never murdered anyone….. yet!

Unfortunately I think they’re more of a mutual apprecation society. Someone linked us to an article by an African writer a while back which slammed them both for their attitide to Africa. He asked her what Africa’s main problem was and she said something like: “well they’re a tribal people you know, but they’re trying, they’re really trying”. The writer was like yes dear, that’s the root of Africa’s problems in a nutshell. And he also said that they bonded over the fact that they’d both witnessed an African child die and were in possession of the only photo of that child. He said it was like they thought the death of those children was more siginificant as an experience to them than it was to the parents. It was a very scathing piece. So yeah, I don’t know much about Anderson Cooper but this writer seemed to think they were cut from the same cloth.

That was interesting thanks, and very much along the lines of the article I was referring to as a matter of fact. Another interesting read re: Africa is Paul Theroux’s Dark Star Safari, not sure whether you’ve read/heard of it? Its a travel diary by a novelist so is enjoyable reading if you love Africa but it also has some interesting theories on what the continent’s “problem” is. Theroux taught there in the 60’s and when he goes back to visit 40 years on he feels that things have got worse not better. He deduces from this that 40 years of charitable initiatives are not the answer, he doesn’t feel it has been of long-term benefit at all. He visits hospitals that were built 15 years ago but have fallen into disrepair and destitution because no-one is maintaining them. He meets Westerners teaching in schools who are leaving their posts but no locals are interested in filling their place. He argues that donating aid to Africa can actually be counter-productive as charity then becomes one of that country’s main sources of income so it is in the interests of corrupt governments to keep their nation poor so they can receive the cash and not have to put any effort into building up their economies themselves. He also talks about people who move to areas where there has recently been a natural disaster and aid has been donated to build houses in the hope that there will be another one and they will get one too. Also says a lot of people he meets don’t necessarily want to stay in Africa and make the continent better, they want to go to New York and become a taxi driver and earn dollars etc. Its a very interesting read. Not sure how correct it is but it just goes to show how much more complex the issue is than many celebs may think.

Yeah there is definitely a form of double-think going on here. These “people” believe it is their right to come here and abuse Ian and us at will, because that is their “opinion” and they have a right to express it. If they are attacked back or someone defends Ian in any way then that is us being “cyber bullies” and we can’t accept anyone with an opinion which differs from our’s. Truth is I’m all for opinions, but if you come on to a discussion board you better be prepared to defend them if someone disagrees with you. What I am not for is abusing people. Ok, just to say it in brief, I was doing professional theatre at the age of 8, I was shortlisted for the Royal Ballet school at 11, I was top of my class in all classes at school all my life, I am trained in all forms of dance at the highest level and got the highest grades for all exams, I am a LAMDA trained actor and won at a lot of the drama festivals I competed in, I went to Oxford, came 26th out of the 260 people in my year in my first year exams so got a scholarship, worked in television making programmes in the most respected strands on the most respected channels in the UK and I’ve been scouted by a modelling agency in London. Do you honestly think that I consider making comments on an internet blog a big achievement and that I am here to flatter my ego?

ReplyAlexa’s musical passion started at a young age when she attended stage school from the age of 8. She went on to star in numerous plays, most notably at Oxford University where she starred as Musetta in La Boheme at the Oxford Playhouse and April in Company by Sondheim. She also had a leading role in the off-West End premiere of Falsettos and was a chorister at Keble College, Oxford. As for dancing, Alexa trained at the Royal Ballet School in Birmingham until the age of 11 and has since danced Ballroom and Latin competitively for Oxford University.

I’m working on a theory on the “BP was not having sex with Jen & AJ was banging him like crazy” and “Jen knew for 18 months” but I need some help from Kate and the rest of you! I really believe that Jen had a miscarriage and that is when things went south in their marriage but I’m not sure exactly when that was supposed to have been – sometime in 2004??? BP & Jen could have had some kind of arrangement re: on-set flings, so he fools around with AJ. Then Jen gets pregnant and miscarries. After the miscarriage she loses interest in sex (possibly due to the miscarriage itself or to the reason for the miscarriage – if it was because of toxic mold exposure due to the renovations on their house, as was suggested in one article someone posted, in the emotional aftermath she could have blamed BP because of his relentless remodeling). Anyway, BP tells Jen he’ll wait for her but then turns more and more to AJ and when Jen finds out that in the aftermath of losing their baby another woman’s child (Maddox) is calling him Daddy the shit hits the fan – that is far more of a betrayal. Of course, I personally can’t imagine allowing casual flings in a marriage or getting pregnant while the husband is sleeping with someone else, but HW lifestyles are much different than what I am used to!!
Someone posted earlier (not sure who, sorry) that BP probably deemed himself to be trading up from JA to AJ since Jen and her Dad were mostly TV actors and AJ & JV both had Oscars. I think you are right – his 3 serious relationships have all been with connected women: Gwyneth’s parents were both in the business and her Godfather is Steven Spielberg; JA has a parent in the business and her Godfather was Telly Savalas, and then on the the Evil Queen and her Daddy Dearest. I don’t think BP fell “in love” with AJ until he decided he was finished with Jen. Does anyone know at what point in his relationships he does the hair makeover to match the girlfriends?? He did this with GP, JA and remember the black hair once he and AJ were public?? [I totally loved hearing that AJ and Mickey B supposedly laughed themselves silly over BP dyeing his hair black to match hers!!}
