ReplyI agree completely. However I do believe the blog is moderated. When something is pointed out using rationale and logic it is removed. I mentioned to one poster that it’s site hits that drive up the ads, and the people who come to the site generate the advertising. She thought it was because Ian is popular. Ummm. Google Brad and Ange and his site doesn’t rate a mention.
Go to Alexa and see that his site has made $9000 in nearly a year. The other one who will not be mentioned, apparently, turns over 5,000,000.00 in the same time frame.
I accused Ian of making the blog as a bet to see how many people he could get to believe his rubbish. His other books have sold less copies than my friend, who doesn’t tout herself to be a Best selling author. His award is rubbish. It’s easy to find out about Mr Halperin. He’s in Canada due to a warrant out for his arrest for perjury.
I opened a youtube account and put a few videos up and … then I found Ian’s channel. He has 50 subscribers. I have 500 or so and I only opened it two months ago. I’m a nobody. Ian claims to be a somebody. It just doesn’t gel.
Why are they saying this about you Ian?????

Despite this, I’m thinking “Keane’s” response isn’t related? I do note that in the Ike & Tina section, Keane says she’s going to bed at 4.50 pm. And the diction and sentence structure is different that Keane’s usual. (although I am FAR from thinking this is Angelic highjack).
Leaving authorship aside, I wonder if you, Keane, might elaborate about the perjury? I’m curious.
ps I LOVE Quebec City. Is the Robert Le Page multimedia show still on? It was fantastic.

No where on IAN’s blog will you find anything anywhere close to a topic of ” Female First Forum Hostilities” encouraging others to call their posters foul names, ,to make personal derogatory comments about any of them simply because we disagree with their methods and theories, nope! BUT You go to FF and you will find one in particular mean spirited, vendictive and hateful person who has set up a topic named ” IUC Hostilities” and uses it to bash those of us who post here, refer to some of us with vile name calling, go out of their way to harrass Keane for what ever reason they find her so intimidating to them….It’s childish, and it’s wrong. I could not disagree with you more. There are few things you can do on the web that I just don’t take cotton to. You don’t plagiarize and you certainly don’t jack a screen name, that has been in use and is easily identifiable as Keane’s is. My DebFrmHell, I use it on all the boards I post on. It is one of the few things I feel I “own” in as much as you can own anything on the web. Of course, you wouldn’t think it is an issue as you post under “Guest” and that alone insures your anonymity but for those of us who DO “travel” under the same name every where, it is a violation of self.
The fact that for pages, especially regarding the rape story, we have all taken a moral high road. We have discussed at length about verbal assults and all agreed it was out of hand at IUC. It, in effect, lumps us a category that does not represent us as a whole and we will not be seen as the good people that we truly are. The poster crossed the line.

The fact that there are so many of us that have left that site gives me hope and I am grateful they have found their way here. It is always nice to be around people that share the same commonality.

CCP from FF Note The Time. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and has the freedom to express it. How others feel about the methods used however, is up to that individual. The entire fiasco is not enjoyed by many of your posters on FF either i see, now that i went to FF to see if what you said you posted and when you said you posted it matched here. Above is CCP of exactly how it appears in the blog which i printed out for a hard copy … It’s not worth it Deb….why can’t we all just agree to disagree, and stop this ridiculousness? It solves nothing, proves nothing, and serves no one any good purpose. Why keep breathing life into it? My goodness ” IU Hostility ” topic on FF board now has TWENTY EIGHT pages!!! Now that is one hell of a lot of hate about the few of us posting here….
ReplyToday I attempted to escape from this moldy basement. Early in the morning I began scratching at the door and making as much noise as possible. Sure enough, it only took a few minutes before I saw the bloated ankles of my master padding toward the stairs in her Oxford logo socks. I looked at her pleadingly and put my fuzzy head down in a submissive pose. I long to languidly circle those hairy ankles again. Oh how I yearn for that contentment. As Mommy eyed me suspiciously, I noticed that she had left the door open. Only a set of stairs between me and freedom. With all the strength my undernourished body could muster I ran for it.
ReplyOh how sorry I was when I heard the anger in Mommy’s voice as she lumbered up the stairs after me. I made it as far as the kitchen table as she screamed at the top of her lungs accusing me of being a bloody Angie plant. She said she wouldn’t fall for my tricks again and threw her wine glass at me. I crouched into the corner, fear in my eyes. Then, just as suddenly as her anger had erupted, she became calm again. Mommy reached into the pocket of her housecoat and retrieved some old pieces of chicken and threw them down the stairs. Hunger got the best of me and I skittered eagerly down the stairs forgetting the intoxicating fragrance of Mommy’s feet in the process. Tomorrow I will try again but now I must be going. I hear the opening strains of Oxford’s fight song which can only mean that Mommy is pleasuring herself while reading her own press again. HALP!

Very interesting. The 2nd part of this was over on Ian’s blog on the thread about his TV show tonight and now it’s gone. Guess he didn’t want this info over there.
No it is still there, because Keane asked him about it. He did not delete it. Someone asked him on the chat if they were banned and he said no, he does not run the blog, if someone wants to come fine ,if not fine, that people could post whatever they want as long as they are not making up lies intentionally. He is suing someone right now. He is holding a news conference in a few days. He was also asked if he minded that his regulars left, he said no, he was fine with who ever wanted to post or not post, and that he was not Sugar Ray, and people would be meeting Sugar Ray. In Touch is suppose to have a breaking story , could not tell if he meant this week or next week.

This is my response to Deb…it was a sincere response, and explains how i feel. I will post here this once to explain in my own words how i personally fell about all that has transpired. No, on IUC we do not have a topic “Female First Forum Hostility” because we don’t intend to continue this what ever it is over here. You, we, sit before our computers with a small screen in front of us, typing little letters which release our inner most thoughts, telling funny stories about our lives, and in general making new _ friends….for entertainment. This is not our lives. We all have homes, family, work/business to tend to. It is not intended for this to be a place where people are hurt by name calling, bashing, or trashing, not from FF and not from IUC. If someone has a problem, please just state that you have a difference with what was said or how you took something that may or may not have been directed at you…don’t look for insults where none were intended. I hope there are some of you here who are not here simply to bash other human beings who have not done a single thing in your real life to harm you….it’s internet….change channel, turn it off…whatever. Now i’ve explained how i feel about this…and i hope you take it in the manner in which it was intended. I can’t control your feelings, only you can. So, know that i never deliberately harm another human being, never!

All I can say is much of what you said on the post that Patty Anne repeated over here was completely wrong, some of it was just baseless speculation, the rest was a misunderstanding of me based on things I have said. At the end of the day you do not know me at all and you have got me wrong. I may have been wrong in attacking people commenting on this blog, but it became a kneejerk reaction after finding myself the subject of personal attacks every day or the 5 or so months I have been posting here. I am trying to ignore it and rise above it all now but how would you feel if people were not only coming here to attack/ridicule you but devoting a thread on another blog to it and now coming here and posting under my username or similar. What I have said I have always said under my name and to someone’s face whether it was what they wanted to hear or not. The behaviour of these people is beyond immature and like you said totally sick. They hide behind multiple usernames so they don’t have to be accountable for anything they’ve said. I don’t know who these people and I wouldn’t want to. It amazes me that they would think I would care what they think of me.
