IUC Exclusive: Angelina Suicidal After Row With Brad
IUC has learned Angelina Jolie threatened to kill herself multiple times after a row with Brad Pitt a couple weeks back. According to a source close to Angie, the Oscar winning actress started writing a suicide note. “Things have not been good,” the source said. 
“A couple weeks ago they had a massive argument. Angelina threatened to kill herself over it. It was very ugly. I have never seen her look so frail and desperate. The kids were within earshot. I’d be amazed if Angie poses on the red carpet with Brad at Cannes. For that performance alone she would deserve and Oscar.” Developing…

Isn’t the threat of suicide a standard tactic for master manipulators? Apparently it didn’t work too well because he hasn’t gone back it seems. It seems odd that she’d even consider showing up at Cannes. People are going to talk about it if she goes or if she doesn’t go so QT’s film is going to take backseat regardless. These kids must feel like they are in a battle zone at this point.

ReplyYa know, I don’t like her very much, but I don’t want the girl to off herself. If this is true, and she actually wrote a suicide note, why hasn’t someone turned that over to the authorities? Police or medical personell can legally have her committed with proof of self physical harm or witnessed suicide threats. Is no one around her brave enough to get the woman help? Does everyone bow down to A-listers, no matter what harm they might do or what frame of mind they’re in? HW is a sick fuckin’ world to live in, for sure.

ReplyThere is something seriously wrong with a woman who would threaten suicide when she has 6 little ones depending on her. If this is true then i am seriously saddened. Sad for the kids. You don’t threaten to kill yourself if you don’t get your way. How can you frighten your children like that? Above post said the kids were in earshot. They are way too young to have to deal with those two clowns problems. For crying out loud, I’m not an AJ fan at all but she needs to get her sh*t together. Once you have kids their needs should come first. These two need to stop thinking about themselves, stop the manipulation, stop the PR machine and figure it out how to deal with whatever situation thay are in. Reply@sama:Anwering this question literally opens a can of worms for me so I’m trying to find the words, without putting myself out there too much. I’ve known AJ for 11 years…most recently she was trying to contact me through a message board where she found out I was posting. She be-friended other posters and she did manipulate her way into their lives. She even met with a few of them…flew in and had dinner. Anyhoo…she tried to harass and degrade me through there, all while I was oblivious to it because I was still majorly traumatized (that part I’m not getting into).
So…she posted on that site and then followed me to another site. Brad found out and was angry and she started posting to him there, begging him to forgive her and then posted a picture of a mama lion and a daddy lion with their pride.
I don’t speak to either of them directly. Haven’t spoke to Brad directly in over 2 years so I don’t know about Cannes or day to day stuff. Just know what I hear from my best friend (who he’s still close to). And he’s mum on the subject lately. But what I hear is that they are ovah, and Brad and Jen are 3/4 of the way of getting back together.

ReplyShe truly is the biggest waste of skin as a human being I have ever seen. I am only saying that because of her actions, her choices. She has chosen to hurt, maim, cripple, batter and crush so many people. All of this pain and hurt she’s caused, all for selfish pursuits.
Killing herself would actually be a smart move on her part. It would be a great PR move, she’d be canonized as a saint. And since no one says bad things about a dead person…the monster she is would never be made public.
Actually, killing herself now would be the ULTIMATE PR move.

ReplyNo wonder she’s “desperate, sad and confused” as one article said. I guess that maybe she doesn’t know how to deal with it when her manipulation doesn’t work anymore. But I imagine that if you threaten it, you probably aren’t really going to do anything “permanent”, because if you really wanted to off yourself, you would do it in a way so as to not be discovered until too late.
Monstrous that she (or anyone else for that matter) would say something like that when the kids could overhear. Poor little buggers, they are going to need some serious help at some point in their lives. Brad should have called 911 there and then, and had her get the help she desperately needs.

So given that Cannes time is what 6, 7 hours ahead of eastern time in the U.S. I’m a little confused as to how he was seen in Cannes having lunch alone at his hotel on Saturday, but yet no pictures.

@Liin:no I’m not in hiding, but I am coming to the end of an extremely painful process of recovering from trauma. Related and unrelated to what she did. Very painful. But I tell ya, I am one tough bitch.
I’m not worried about her now, all the harm she has done to be has been done – or rather, attempted – and I am safe now because for reasons I won’t go into, she no longer views me as a threat and she is backed into a corner. And I am completely confident that I am safe, which is why I’m posting here. And I’ll be putting some next steps in place, just not sure what they are as of yet.

ReplyIn most states in the U.S. threatening suicide is sufficient to be committed to a psychiatric ward of a hospital for 72 hours obversation. I think Angie more than qualifies!! Just because this threat worked with BBT years ago, doesn’t mean it will work on Brad. In fact, i’d think it would give Brad all the more reason to consult with his attorney about Angie being a danger to herself and mostly the children. If she believes they are more important to Brad than she is, who knows what her sick mind could come up with? Let’s all hope and pray that Brad grows back his balls, and takes definate steps to end this joke of a relationship immediately.

Yet Brad is wearing exactly the same clothes, right down to the untucked white shirt sticking out the bottom of the blue shirt, that he was wearing in the Friday shots. Methinks that they were taken Friday and for some reason, JJ was instructed to muddy the waters. He’s saying that Brad took the kids on Saturday AND saying that he arrived in Cannes Saturday, which would be pretty much impossible given the time difference. ReplyI think it is called a 302 or 304 can’t remember. One is voluntary other is involuntary. However, you can go in on your own and then try to leave, but they may 302 you which means you have to stay. I have to admit I know from experience. I live with chronic pain, spinal cord thus neurological. I have a child who I love more than anything in this world. But I couldn’t cope with the pain, didn’t know how. But I got help and I found a way to live with it although sometimes I find myself creeping back into the black hole. AJ is disgusting in using this because a man wants to leave an unhealthy relationship. I am ashamed of myself for wanting to end my life due to constant unrelenting pain and deformation of my body. And of course my child knew and it breaks my heart everyday knowing that I put her through that. Children know more than we think. They are not stupid and they can sense when things are amok. Last night on the Miss Nines thread Mickey B mentioned that Angie had tried to commit suicide and it was in a tabloid whereever he/she lived but did not have any other information about it. It seems IAN was able to talk to someone who knows more about it and does not think she will go to Cannes. In light of this attempt I can not imagine Brad making a threat to ruin her, so that source had to be full of it, right? Would he do that knowing she was on the edge? naahh..don’t think so.
I agree, Brad and Jen are 3/4 back on the way , there are too many hints she is dropping. I loved the chicking licking bone lol Pretty funny. She has a great sense of humor. Dang I have led a sheltered life! I just read a little article on the evil Ms. Jolie on the NOW magazine which stated that due to her unending turmoil with the hapless Mr. Pitt, that the evil Ms. Jolie is “bonding” with her co-star Liev Schreiber – who also happens to be having trouble with his significant other Naomi Watts. It seems that they have 2 kids together and Liev Schreiber is so jealous that he cannot breastfeed the newest one that he wants a ‘Strap on nurser” so he can experience breastfeeding as it somehows feeds milk through a tube to the baby? Say what? What ever happened to just holding a bottle with milk in it! (Look out Ms. Watts as it seems the evil Ms. Jolie has her eye on your man!)

ReplyA phony suicide attempt/threat for attention / manipulation from/of another is always broadcasted by the one doing the manipulating. Otherwise, what good is it? They certainly don’t intend to go through with it or they’d have QUIETLY DONE IT! Ergo, Jolie had to get someone to inform Brad, and most likely others in the household for it to have any chance of changing events to suit Jolie. Thank you ladies. I guess it just struck a cord that AJ would use that when there are so many people suffering, way more than myself. She could have it all if she wanted to. Sure she may have chemical imbalances, who doesn’t. Sure she may have had a shitty childhood, don’t know many people that didn’t. But she is amoral and she will never put the best interest of her child in front of her own.
ReplyOh, and it felt good getting that out. And believe me, when I or anyone else says the nuthouse, they are not lying. I went voluntarily, and I found they weren’t giving me what I needed. Most of the people in there were addicts looking for a fix. If not, they had extreme mental issues. It was kind of like a place to hang out, not get help. My husband called the health department, and I think the staff realized I was there for help, not to hang out with a bunch of crazies and get wacked out on Oxycontin (bad stuff, stay away if ever offered.) Anyway, AJ could get the best help money can buy. Suicide is serious and not something to throw around during a tantrum. @sheen:

ReplyBut this is the ‘tell’. How they behave when they are stressed. The person with the difficult childhood will have a much harder time coping.
Having had a tough childhood myself, I don’t doubt that she could be suicidal—or desperate enough to think that is what she wants to do right now. Her whole life–her image—her persona—the family she’s tried to build in an attempt to have a ‘normal’ life with a ‘normal’ husband—–is all going away. That’s truly scary—no matter how manipulative the person can be in other ways—this is probably true.
She has controlled everything for years and not had much in her way. It really must be scary to feel this sudden shift.
She had way too many issues before she put together her ‘family’. I really wish she had worked on them first.
Now all these kids are involved in this.
Thinking about it—I’m afraid she could really do it. After all, it would make her a real icon. People who commit suicide or disappear have all sorts of cults and intriguing mysteries around them.

I really doubt she has the coping skills she needs to get through this. Probably the fact that she’s filming has helped because she has to take her mind off it for certain times of the day and can’t wallow around in her depression as much.
I think she’s falling to pieces, but it isn’t Brad Pitt’s fault.
Probably more of a medical condition.
In my personal experience, the people around me who have threatened such a thing ended up making real attempts—or they were so depressed they made half-hearted ones in a desperate bid for help. I felt crazy and suicidal for a couple of months when my marriage ended.

In a statement released by the court, Jolie, a mother of six, said the case against Thomas Lubanga is a “landmark trial for children” and paid tribute to the former child soldiers who travel to the court’s seat in The Hague to testify.
“After watching the proceedings from the viewing booth, I stood up and found Thomas Lubanga Dyilo looking at me,” Jolie said. “I imagined how difficult it must be for all the brave young children who have come to testify against him.”
Tuesday’s visit was Jolie’s second to the world’s first permanent war crimes tribunal in less than two years. The goodwill ambassador for the U.N. refugee agency UNHCR said children deserve special protection during wars.
“Using children in conflict is a heinous crime and destroys the very fabric of a society,” she said.
Jolie also met with the court’s chief prosecutor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, during her private visit to the court.
Lubanga, founder and former leader of the Union of Congolese Patriots political movement and its armed wing, has pleaded innocent to charges of recruiting and using child soldiers in tribal conflicts in 2002-2003.
His is the first international trial to focus solely on child soldiers. It started in January and is expected to continue throughout this year.
The United Nations estimates up to 250,000 child soldiers still fight in more than a dozen countries.

ReplyJust catching up after a busy morning gardening. I do think any suicide threat was just a manipulation on her part. If she really intended to commit suicide she would do it/try. The fact that she made the threats with the kids within earshot is horrible. PLEASE PLEASE LET BP’S PARENTS TAKE THE KIDS FOR WHILE!!! All of this is JMHO, but there is a history of suicide in my immediate family and in one case it was the reverse; getting help for the person and they still went ahead with it.

The person who has done so much of that questioning had some illegal things happen to her so I think she was naturally being suspicious. ReplyA doc was previewed on TV this morning about some teenagers in the UK going to work in Asia to see how the food we eat is produced and prepared for our consumption. They were working in a fish factory where employees worked to remove tuna steaks from the bones of the fish. It was so hot in the factory and the working condtions were so bad that one of the teenagers immediately fainted. One of the other members of staff said oh its fine we were expecting someone to faint, people faint in here every day, its a very hot place to work. All the staff were known by a number, not their own name. They had to stand at their work station and prepare the fish all day with very few allowances for breaks. If they were ill and couldn’t work they didn’t get paid. They earnt the equivalent of one pound a day I believe. The family the teenagers were staying with ate rice and fish heads (leftovers from the factory presumably) for every meal, every day. They could not afford anything else. Most of the world lives in poverty like this or much, much worse. I just thought we should bear this in mind before contemplating whether we should or should not feel great sympathy for the plight of Ms Angelina Jolie. Just thought I’d throw that into the mix.

ReplyThis reminds me of my friend who is a nurse and the tales she told me from A&E (ER to yanks) She thought she had seen it all but was shocked at how many suicide attempts came through the doors when it became quite clear that the attempt was no more than an extreme attention getting exercise. Those who genuinely wanted to end their lives were one thing but rare as they tended to do it where they might not be found in time. However a lot of, in her words, ‘fucking idiotic bits of kids’ would do it to pull a trump card in a relationship. One girl, having had her stomach pumped, and having been told that she had liver damage for life said ‘at least he won’t leave me now’

She was studying at the London School of Economics at the time so I believed her, but it now sounds a bit high in relation to the bank account stat. But anyway ladies and gents, if you have a degree just think how privileged you are. You are part of a very small part of society. So much is taken for granted in the UK it drives me insane. The fuss people make over minor problems makes my blood boil. How would they cope if they had a childhood which involved liviing on a rubbish dump to collect anything they could sell every day of the week just to be able to afford to eat and without enough money for shoes, to have to eat rats when they couldn’t afford to buy anything else, and to have a cardboard box to call home. Reality for a lot of people in India (more people living in poverty than any other continent in the world) and many other places besides. But Angie is feeling suicidal everyone!!!! Watch me weep.

And believe me, when I or anyone else says the nuthouse, they are not lying. I went voluntarily, and I found they weren’t giving me what I needed. Most of the people in there were addicts looking for a fix. If not, they had extreme mental issues. It was kind of like a place to hang out, not get help. My husband called the health department, and I think the staff realized I was there for help, not to hang out with a bunch of crazies and get wacked out on Oxycontin (bad stuff, stay away if ever offered.) Anyway, AJ could get the best help money can buy. Suicide is serious and not something to throw around during a tantrum. @sheen:

Angelina Jolie was spotted at the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands today.
The actress watched the trial of a Congolese warlord charged with using child soldiers, the Associated Press reports.
Jolie, a mother of six, called the case against Thomas Lubanga a “landmark trial for children.
“After watching the proceedings from the viewing booth, I stood up and found Thomas Lubanga Dyilo looking at me,” Jolie said. “I imagined how difficult it must be for all the brave young children who have come to testify against him.”
The story next to it is how BP took the boys to Star Trek.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if its being dealt with by the Hague’s war crimes tribunal it doesn’t sound like it requires a bit of fluff to draw attention to it. Looks like it already has the attention it deserves. Like so many of her other “humanitarian” exploits you wonder if she volunteered herself rather than being asked, the timing being so very convenient and all. Anyone else?

Lets all just take a minute to take a good look round that quote for a bit shall we? Anything jump out at you there? Anything just screaming to be pointed out at all? I think you all know what I’m getting at. This woman is truly unbelievable. Its just the same as that piece written by the African writer who talked about how both Angelina Jolie and Anderson Cooper witnessed a child die in Africa and how they retained the only photo of that child, and how they both considered it a life-changing, formative experience – probably more than the child’s parents did the writer suggested. That child’s death was all about them he said, and it sounds like this trial at the Hague is now also about the heroic Ms Jolie, not just those poor, not famous children. Repellant.
BTW – I totally agree with you re the PR game. I’ve seen a piece in Now magazine I think it was that looked like it came from Ange and described how she advised Brad to go back to his shallow life with Jen and spend his days helping to highlight her hair or whatever. I firmly believe it is her who has put these fallacies about Jen out there, and who has incited the loons to use it as artillery against her. What kind of evil mind does that kind of thing? And why the hell doesn’t Jen fight back??? It baffles me.

I believe there was a quote in it about how aid workers were upset to be sending women and children back to places where their tormentors still lived. “No one should have to chose between Justice and Peace” (maybe I paraphrased that).

ReplyHi All – I’ve been following this site now for a couple of months but have never posted here before. To be perfectly honest, at first I thought Ian might be full of shi*t – conflicting reports, postings that seemed like riddles that the members had to decipher and interpret, etc. But I still kept peeking in, mainly because the comments posted were often very interesting, intelligent and lacked a certain lunacy that usually overwhelms any site that mentions AJ. Then last week, I saw Ian’s IUCTV broadcast and my opinion and doubts regarding him completely changed/dissipated. The way he went through the questions from the members on this board was what cemented it for me. If he didn’t know the answer, he said so. If he believed something to be true, he showed no hesitancy in putting his money where his mouth was AND he acknowledged the contributions of the users of this site and stated that he felt the input and comments from the posters was what really made this site what it is. Needless to say, my opinion of him totally changed from a guy that was exploiting a hot topic subject for gain, to a guy that was straight up, and refreshingly, possessed an irreverence which is all but completely devoid on other sites and entertainment news outlets when it comes to reporting on Angelina Jolie.
I guess this was completely off topic, sorry about that – but for some reason I felt compelled – probably because I started out as a skeptic.

And he actually tells us stuff we don’t know and want to hear about as opposed to some regurgitated, PR BS. Of course he makes money from the blog but people don’t seem to realise how much hard work he is doing to keep it going. These stories are not easy to get and take a lot of work to stand up, I reckon he’s working round the clock at the moment. I agree I was also heartened by some of the things he said in regard to the evidence he has for some of the more outrageous and disputed stories (the dog one for one), and it reassured me that it was more than just something someone said to someone who said to someone else etc etc. I think those live chats help because people can see Ian for what he is, a down-to-earth, decent guy who has his heart in the right place, not some lunatic rumour-monger who is making up crap for cash and laughing at all his readers. @Keane: Re: Democratic Republic of Congo (war crimes) — HI Keane, 2 things just jump out at me regarding AJ showing up at the Hague for this specific event. 1) It’s Angie’s PR 101 that she always uses when she feels she might be outed or shown in a negative light publicly. Ex: stole Brad Pitt and then had pictures taken of the two of them in Pakistan(?) lifting supplies for refugees. Basically try to avert any negative attention by tossing in some true and heartfelt humanitarian interest. 2) (this one’s more scary in my opinion) The Democratic Republic of Congo is starting to allow intercountry adoptions and the framework is rather loose as they haven’t figured it all out yet. I know this because my adoption agency is looking into the specifics for me. I wonder if after having been denied in countries that have more established adoption regulations, she used the appearance at the Hague not only to try for positive press coverage when all is OBVIOUSLY not well in Jolie-Pitt land, but also is thinking of trying to STEAL her next kid from the DRC. That’s the thought running through my head and it is CREEPING me out!!!

A couple of yrs ago, I saw a young woman on a national daytime talk show. The topic was suicide,and those who tried it.
The young woman said that after she tried to commit the act, she went “to the other side” and was amongst those who had already succeeded in their attempts. Gossipwench is a plant I think, I guess they’re trying to stir up trouble here by going to JJ and getting the loons to come here and do their bidding for them. None of their plants have worked too well on this site for them. The persistence of the plants is truly mind-boggling to me. I find it unfathomable what lengths AJ will go to try to control what people think about her. It is like no negative comment about her is permitted whatsoever. For a woman who has “know your rights” tattooed on her body, it is amazing that she feels we are not entitled to the right of free speech.
