Well Cannes is May 13-24 and they are not announcing when Brad’s film will be showing until April 23 show they have 3 weeks to decide how to handle this war they are in and either put it on hold and so she can show off at Cannes (Geez would she miss her chance on that one) or he go it alone.

Well you start by getting an undergraduate degree. Ask Jodie Foster what that is. In your case probablyy in pre-law and/or economics. Then it’s on to law school, you’ll have to score high on your LSATs to get into a competitive school, and you have to concentrate REALLY hard for longer than 2 weeks to get thru (it’s not like having children), JFK Jr. struggled with his law boards and they didn’t cut HIM no slack so….
Funny as it sounds it wouldn’t shock me, I mean people get a bunch of attention paid to them if they’re president, right?

In my experience ( and i have some) these things are often hard to separate. Fantasy and real life are one big blur for her, even more so in a slow burn manic phase. She may well actually believe she has a chance, and heaven help anyone who dares to try to talk her out of it. London voted in a mayor by the name of Boris Johnson who admittedly was already an MP but won primarily for his comedic prowess on quiz shows. No-one had a clue what his policies were, they just thought he was funny and he won by a landslide. I have no doubt that Angelina Jolie would attract the same level of support from people who previously had no interest in politics. Especially in the US where electing a President is like voting in a new star; less about the policies, more about the fanfare and the rallies. Very different to the UK where its all very dour and boring, most peope don’t even bother to vote. I hate to say it but I think she would have a very good chance of being voted into Congress and possibly the presidency, stranger things can and have happened. Hitler smart – that really sums her up.

The only thing more laughable than AJ as prez is AJ as prez on a Republican ticket. A large part of the republican base continues to be fundamentalist and conservative Christians who would never accept a woman who’s had multiple children out of wedlock, is widely perceived as having had an affair with her current partner, has bared her breasts and more in countless films, I could go on. The republicans might be desperate but they aren’t stupid. Neither is Jolie since I don’t believe for one minute that she’d ever consider running for public office.

A guy called Boris Johnson won the London mayoral election by a landslide because he is a popular contributor on comic political panel shows. He was an MP beforehand yes, but he was seen as a joke, constantly making gaffes, saying unbelievablby racist and homophobic things and generally acting like an eccentric Brit buffoon. But the mayoral election? Landslide victory. People forget that a substantial proportion of the electorate are in the 18-25 age bracket – an age group majorly affected by and led by celebrity and advertising. They came out in droves to vote for comedy Boris. You don’t think they and probably a lot of older star-struck people too, wouldn’t come out and vote for Jolie? Believe me I’ll do everything in my power and I’m sure a lot of people will to prevent her ever getting anywhere near a position of authority. But this woman has a finger in every power pie there is out there, she is a force to be reckoned with.
