@ Kate – I’m not so sure, it depends on how widespread these stories become. Like I said, I may or may not have been on the blower to one of the UK’s biggest selling publications yesterday and I may or may not have informed them about this site. I may follow this up tomorrow with calling another major player, just to make sure I am being fair in the dissemination of information. I will have to see how busy I am tomorrow. You would be interested in what the journo I talked so said, seems like the media are very far from being informed about the reality of a certain someone called Angelina Jolie. Yet.

@guest: Yeah I'd imagine that's true being married would have been a hinderance, unless it's a long established marriage. And I guess too many countries won't let a man adopt on his own bc of stats on abuse, so she had to. I guess the incident after Siloh's birth made him go back and forth about the relationship in general and ruled out marriage. Didn't know about Madonna braking the law in Malawi, I did learn AJ got Maddox from a well known Cambodian child-broker, now out of business. @Kate: Oh you can't compare them w the average family. Like I said, I think AJ will return to her previous statis post-Brad, she only ever gets any real thunder thru of her entanglements, but time will tell.

@p:Supposedly one reason she didn’t want to get married she would not have been able to adopt Pax, most foreign countries now require parents to have been married 2 years before proceeding with the adoption process. It’s easier to collect children as a single parent – paying people off doesn’t hurt either – look at Madonna, I just read the government of Malawi is backing her adoption, never mind that it breaks their own laws.

I agree, I was simply amazed that they were hailed as America’s Royal Family with the way they were collecting children with no foundation at all. Don’t get it, but that is Public relations, and she is good at that,I will give her that. She will survive this, and so will he, some how she always does, she will find a new angle, and come out again on top. disgusting. The average person would be in a mental ward, and hubby would be working 3 jobs to pay child support.

Thing is you can’t really blame people for not believing every story they read since these rag headlines often totally contradict each other. I mean who said Brad yanked his hand away from AJ? You see? I’m not saying it couldn’t have happened, but they’ve said all kinds of shit like J Roberts was at deaths door when she wasn’t. If anything I wonder if these tabs are taking their cues from Ian and Ted these. There are many more “split” stories, I notice.

The thing that irks me is how anybody look at the situation rationally — the overnight relationship, replete family, the impulsive on-the-go-lifestyle, having one kid right on top of the other, the broken vow to slow down for the children, AJ’s psychological history and drug use, how public they are with the kids — and NOT think this thing was a train wreck from the first? Or how was she cleared to adopt to begin with?

Don’t worry about the people on other sites. It’s confusing. Especially if they’re SO naive they didn’t ask any of these basic questions… after all if they’re interested, there’s enough actual facts in evidence that make this whole thing highly questionable. But there’s nothing you can do.

I don’t know the laws re out-of-wedlock adoption. I did wonder how many agencies /countries anywhere would allow people to adopt together that haven’t been together very long. So yeah maybe he’s out of luck w bios unless he can show she’s an unfit mother.
