IUC Exclusive: Toothy Update…
Update: The Hollywood mogul who claims he was lovers with Toothy made it clear in an email to me last night under no terms was he afraid to come out. “Almost every studio exec I know is gay,” he said. “In this case I had to do everything to protect his (Toothy) career and well being. Otherwise, it would have been career suicide for him. Everyone in this town knows I’m queer and never in a million years would I try to hide it.”

Is this the same exce who yesterday said NEITHER of them would work again if they came out?
Replyyes, but he clarified it. He meant that if he came out with Toothy they’d both be toast. He made it clear if he came out with someone else it was o.k. – as long as it was not a famous Hollywood star.

Looks like Ted is going for Day 2 on Toothy, he is not giving this one up Ian, what gives. He is still dropping hints, still taking guesses, are you guys in this together, not speaking, not agreeing on what is what, something is not meshing.

I saw some recent pictures of Reese Witherspoon, and it looked like she may be preggers in a couple of them. What do you think? Any chance she is going for No. 3? Is this why Jake and Reese seem so happy out and about lately, along with trips to the doctor’s office? What’s your take?

Mememe – no that’s no what he meant. Everyone knew he was gay as its completely acceptable to be gay if you’re behind the scenes. What he means is if he outed Jake he would never work again. The biggest secrecy law of HW would have been well and truly violated and his career would have been finito. People who work in the tv/film industry are professionals and are discrete about the proclivities of those in front of camera. If someone behind the scenes sold a story about a star to the press they would never work again more than likely. They would be seen as untrustworthy and as having behaved in bad form. Its a ruthless enough industry in terms of staying in work as it is anyway, something like that would easily blow you out of the business.

ReplyHe’s in a tricky position though, he could get majorly sued and the network has serious de niro to lose (I’m guessing Ian probably doesn’t have millions stashed away Jake’s lawyers could go after). He’ll keep up the pretence so as not to associate himself with this site’s revelation.
ReplyThen why can’t Ian be sued? That does not make sense to me, if it is true, how can one sue..if Ted tells the truth he is in the clear, if he lies that is another thing.
Look how many Ian has outed. He would have to have mega millions to withstand the lawsuits of Oprah, Tom Cruise, Leo, Jake, Justin, Brad Pitt as esperimenting, I mean serious? If he can get away with it, if Perez can, so can Ted. You can’t be sued for something that is real. What would the care hold on?
ReplyHe can’t be sued becauseIan is just repeating stale gossip, gossip that has been floating around for years on blogs and the supermarket rags. His pal Ted hides behind lawsuit proof BI’s, everyone knows who Ted is talking about, but as long as Ted doesn’t acyually say it, ted is in the clear. Ian and the rest of the bloggers that gues the BI’s and post them are in the clear as well since they will point to Ted as the source.
Ian is smal potatoes anyway, do you think Leo’s or Winfrey’s people are paying himor any of the other bloggers any mind?

ReplyAND it says on the other post they dated the same girl to pretend to be straight. Something doesn’t ring true. If everyone knew he was gay why would he pretend to be straight? I call BS.
ReplyHe says they did that to draw attention to him instead of Toothy. “We needed to take the spotlight of Toothy and put it on me,” he said. “And it worked. No one believed I turned straight, but it caught their attention.”
ReplyOkay, love this site. Could the exec. be Alex Young ??? (Kate Walsh’s beard) And why did he and Kate divorce sooo fast (it seems like these “marriages” last forever (i.e. john & kelly, will & jada…). Also, after reading around here, is there ANYONE in Hollyweird that isn’t bi or gay ????
