Two ex lawyers who represented Rizia Moreira in her case against Cirque du Soleil billionaire Guy Laliberte told IUC unwaveringly that Moreira is out for two things – CASH and to disrupt Laliberte’s life. The lawyers who represented Moreira, who is being called Quebec’s
Moreira with Herbert Black, her wealthy ex lover and current financier
version of Heather Mills, claim they got stiffed by the ex Brazilian model for tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
IUC has decided to defy a publication ban on the case, making a defense of public interest. IUC is published in New York City.
“She was a complete nightmare to work with,” one of the lawyers told IUC. “She lied repeatedly and was impossible to work with. She tried to file a complaint with the Quebec bar claiming my partner wanted to have sex with her and tried to ruin his good name. It was all complete utter lies. She owes us a lot of money and an apology for the way she treated us. Probably, we’ll never get it because she has no moral values.”
Meanwhile, IUC has learned Moreira tried suing Laliberte in her native country Brazil where common law marriage laws are different. She not only went after Laliberte’s cash in Brazil, but also an apartment he owns, cars and other valuable assets. “She will try anything and everything till she gets a large chunk of Guy’s money,” a friend of the ex couple told IUC. “She’s about the sneakiest person you can ever meet. Poor Guy, he’s been so nice about it all. No matter what he offers her it’s never good enough.”
Another ex lover of Moreira, multi millionaire Herbert Black, is financing her case. “After how she has tried to drain Guy of his cash for so many years I’m amazed Black didn’t run a mile from the outset,” the friend said. “She only goes after men with nine or ten figure bank accounts.” DEVELOPING…
