IUC Fashion: Brangelina chases Golden Prize – with bribes?
The day of “it is an honour just to be nominated” has passed without a tremendous amount of surprise or dismay and now it is time for the stars to settle into their disingenuous politics until the fateful day arrives.
The Oscars – nothing but a glamorous day of indignance, disappointment, anorexia, and envy – are coming. And that tiny little statuette — holding more power than a real man with even the most luxurious amount of hair — is the golden ram of Hollywood. Stars bow down to this coveted idol only to have their dreams shattered like the tablets on Sinai.
This year poor Brad Pitt is in for it. Not only is he responsible for six children, New Orleans, and a big career, he is also faced with the challenge of Angelina on Oscar day. The fact that Brad Pitt will not win for his performance as the Incredible Shrinking Man is really not an issue, but the mere inclination that Kate Winslet – a woman far more meaty than Angelina – is going to take the cake must have poor Brad quaking in his bitch-whipped boots.
Angelina’s camera-gluttonous performance in The Changeling, ironically about the loss of a child, is rather counter-intuitive for her public, since it seems she would happily give her entire brood away in exchange for the golden prize. But the Academy will not accept bribes, especially when they come in the form of multi-ethnic children. 
This year, I fear Brad Pitt will suffer a fate worse than The Wrestler’s, while Angelina puckers her lips to the camera and states “It was an honour just to be nominated.”

What? Why are you all up brad’s butt? He’s the one who has been campaigning for his overrated performance. He was also giving bitchy looks when he lost. I hear he’s the diva in the relationship but whatever. maybe you are paid to bash Angelina and Praise Brad because His performance doesn’t even deserve a nomination.
ReplyI guess you missed the daggers that Miss Angelina was firing off to Anne at the Critics Choice Awards, so you are kidding right? Everyone in LA are laughing about these two, and everyone knows that it is her that wants the Oscar; he is campaigning for David Fincher, he KNOWS he has no chance he is going to win, she on the other hand thinks she is suppose to, that is is her right as the reigning Queen of Tinseltown. How much more does she have to donate to get it? Leo is the humble one, and rightly the one who should be in Mr. Pitts place, and Miss Jolie has just pissed off the masses just for being nominated and taken a spot that belonged to those who rightly deserved it. Neither of them stand a chance, at all. Erin got it right, completely right. Wait and see.
