IUC names George Bush Worst U.S. President Ever
Enjoy today’s historic inauguration. Great to see George Bush leaving on a one way ticket back to Texas. Here’s to justice – hoping one day Bush will be held accountable for the 
disastrous state he left the world in and the millions of innocent lives lost because of his war mongering decision making. (Read This)

Come on, Ian. I expected better of you on Obama’s inaugural. Bush wasn’t responsible for “millions of lives lost”. That’s a huge pantload, peddled by the Euroleft who latched onto that hideously bad Lancet study that got debunked years ago. I mean, if it’s a meme, peddle it, but that doesn’t mean it’s right.
Most of the civilians killed in Iraq, strangely enough, were actually killed by the insurgents or Al Qaeda, not by the Americans, who are very good and reasonably careful about what they do (this quite unlike the garbage about the U.S. Armed Forces processed out of Hollywood by moviemakers who made bad antiwar movies that nobody went to-they ended up as tax writeoffs for the big studios). The Al Qaeda Campaign against the Iraqi people made them (and their insurgent allies) so unpopular that it made David Petraeus’ victory in that country possible.
You may criticize Bush for bungling and mismanagement. You may even criticize him for starting the Iraq war, as Obama has. That’s fair play. But to accuse him of murdering millions of people when that never happened is to take a short vacation into the land occupied by the Ted Baxter of our era, Keith Olbermann.
All that said, Democrats control both the executive and the legislative branches of power now. Good for them. They need to run the war. Oh, by the way, you will find out that now that Democrats are in power, war and foreign intervention are good. At least in Hollywood and New York. Expect more WWII style war movies.
ReplyPROPAGANDA…its a tool that unfortunately most believe but regardless of what any movie said we all lived through the last years with Bush reigning as president and he proved that him and his and unknowing and unwilling followers can be some of the scariest terrorists the modern world has seen…go war! Just because your hands arent dirty doesnt mean you didnt have a leading role in the dirty work.
