IUC Sports: Condi Rice headed to NFL? Bush to Revive Ping Pong?

Here in New York everyone was recently transfixed by the absolute stupidity of New York Giant receiver Plaxico Bureess, it was the 35 million dollar gunshot wound, that will destory his career and land him in jail for at least 18 months. He will be made an example, due in court in March..
Condaleeza will be looking for a job soon. Roger  Goodel, the NFL commissioner should be looking over his shoulder. Once Ms.

Is Condi the next commish of NFL?
Is Condi the next commish of NFL?

Rice decompresses from Washington, her testosterone will spike and she’ll be ready for some Football. Watch and see, maybe as frequent in studio guest at Fox. But no matter what, in the next two years Fleeze sees Condi working in the NFL. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Goodell
What will George Bush be doing? PingPong, yes that’s right the sport is making a huge comeback. George will successfully ( for once) manage a chain of Ping Parlors in the Southwest.   Meanwhile, Obama will be building an indoor basketball court in the White House.

Sports and politics are very similar. Both plot strategies, both want to beat their opponents and both keep score. There are also great personal stories in sports and politics, stories of valor and failure and sex and cheating. Very often you will find politicians who were successful athletes in their youth, they are able to translate their winning values into the an enduring popularity with voters who then allow them to compete in government.

I quite disagree about Rice. I don’t think the owners want a commissioner who’s that butch (even soft butch) bossing them around and fooling around with their Revenue Sharing scam.

Plaxico would be out of a job right now if she were Commissioner.

Goodell was a consensus pick and he’ll be there until the middle of the next decade. Rice appears headed for the Forty-Niners job, with the skids greased by Gene Washington (her “escort”, and head of NFL Operations). The once-proud marquee franchise that boasted Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and the West Coast Offense is a shadow of its former self and couldn’t beat the Pride Parade, much less the Raiders. I think Washington will prevail on Rice to take the presidency of the club, whip the club into shape, get the new stadium in Santa Clara, and coach the team herself if necessary. The Yorks have been disastrous owners and the rest of the League is looking for a fix.

You can bet that once Rice takes over the 49′ers, the clown car aspect of that franchise (Coach Singletary pulling down his pants at halftime to show his players that they are playing like ass, for example) will come to a screeching halt. She won’t wait for Singletary to cut people for disciplinary infractions or nightclub beatdowns of the girlfriend. She’ll do it herself.

The Yorks don’t give a damn as long as they get their new Stadium in Santa Clara. Which is what the NFL wants, too. They are tired of dealing with the San Francisco City Council.
