Courtney Love Claims she paved way for Britney’s Meltdown

   Ian. You didn’t say anything for weeks between your Geraldo appearance and a few other appearances to talk about your book. Now Circus comes out and the girl, Britney, seems to be doing well.

   You’ve had four nastee articles out in a matter of days.

   You said (several times) you were writing a book that was sympathetic to Britney and that you thought she would be happy.

   You ask that I stick to the facts while you meanwhile race on stirring a pot of molten bitters. How else should it come across?

   You said nothing between your interview with Geraldo (disaster by the way) and was it E! (good one)? Now Circus comes out and Britney is doing better.

   Why put out several posts so quick now that seem mean? Why are you attacking Britney or is that where you lurk these days, listening to people who want her demise. “She was hard to work with.” Really? Courtney paved the way. Really? You were a big fan of Courtney weren’t you?

   I hope you understand where I might be coming from — I was deceived by your interviews and statements to the press as to Britney Spears someone you dogged for 18 months.
