On a film set, an actor must produce quick results – it is too expensive if he doesn’t. Certainly, young actors, at the puppet’s end of a production string, have to be able to twitch on order – exactly what one aspiring teen actor did back in the sixties. “Carl” started working as an extra on films back in 1959 at age 12. He revealed to IUC that by age 14 he had slept with more than two dozen actors, producers and directors – all male. Now, he’s finally ready to tell all.
“I slept with some of Hollywood’s leading men,” “Carl” said from his current home in Tempe, Arizona. “Marlon Brando was the first big actor I slept with. He fell in love with me on the set of Mutiny On The Bounty. We had a two month fling. Others I’ll out in my book include Steve McQueen, Burt Lancaster and one of Hollywood’s most macho actors of all time who noone has a clue was gay.
“I met Steve McQueen on the set of The Magnificent Seven. I was a background actor. He noticed me and told one of the AD’s he wanted to talk to me. An hour later on a break I was making out with Steve in his trailer. That night we got drunk and ended up in bed. We saw each other periodically for three more years.
“Back then it was taboo to admit you’re gay. Even now people frown on it in Hollywood when it comes to males. I’m sure at least 70 percent of male actors today are gay and won’t admit it. They’re afraid of being blacklisted.”
The sharpest and most cogent account of his escaped is when he recalls a threesome he had with Burt Lancaster and a Hollywood exective producer. “They got me drunk at a party one night at the producer’s house, drugged me and raped me,” “Carl” said. “They tied me up, gagged me and took turns doing many things on me that they should have been arrested for. I became their sex slave for two days straight. When it was over I wanted to call the cops but they threatened me, telling me noone would believe me and that I’d never work again. The producer gave me $500 to shut up, which is exactly what I did cause I knew I would not have had any chance going up against such powerful people. In Hollywood, there’s a ton of payola – cash talks. So many horror stories are covered up cause the authorities are paid off.”

ReplyIt is good to know that after years of taboo of being gay in Hollywood, people are finally gaining the courage to be themselves openly, without fear of judgment. I can understand how scary it must be when you come from a time that widely condemned the revealing of being queer. There have been many actors that have been gay in Hollywood that have never opened up because of how closed minded people can be. I am sure many did have DL sex…that was the only way for them to have it.

I remember hearing about Roddy McDowell’s memoir. Before he died he left instruction that it shouldn’t be published until 20 to 30 years after his death because the parties involved would be long dead. He outs everyone. Should be a really interesting read.

He told us that it was a known fact that Burt’s agency had to pimp for him when he was in LA, providing him with 12 to 13 year-old boys and girls…what a piece of shit.
