McCain Raps about Paltry Palin

   I give this video an A for entertainment value and an F for realism. Obviously, McCain can’t go riding around in a convertible; every time he puts the top down, vultures start circling overhead.

   Seriously, though, McCain’s implosion demonstrates everything that’s wrong with politics and glorious in show biz. When you sell your soul in Hollywood, at least you get the money up front. In politics, you sell your soul on the off chance that, two years down the road, a fickle public might (maybe!) reward you by raining money and power onto your balding, geriatric head.

   Rule #1 in love, war, politics, and entertainment: Selling out should be should be a strictly cash-and-carry business.
