IUC Exclusive: Gay Hollywood Insider Reveals to IUC that Will Smith has been part of “Elite Circle of Hollywood Gay Men” for years
A well known Hollywood insider has revealed to IUC that Will Smith has been part of an elite circle of Hollywood’s gay men for years. Terrance Dean, author of the bestselling, explosive memoir “Hiding In Hip Hop”, dated many leading Hollywood men when he spent years working on film sets in Tinseltown.
“It should come as no surprise that Will Smith, or any other major Hollywood celebrity is gay and have used the services of escorts for male company,” Dean told IUC. “Many Hollywood male celebrities use discrete services and will pay top dollar for male company. I have been privy to maintain friendships and relationships with many actors and rappers, while all along knowing our relationship could never be public. We have down low gay parties, functions, and events where only we are invited to be amongst our kind. Hollywood and Hip Hop have many gay celebrities and many will go to great lengths to keep their sexuality a secret. Even if they have to marry, date several women, and produce children to prove their heterosexuality. However, Will and Jada have often stated that they have an “open” marriage. People in Hollywood knows what that mean. I think the world be even more shocked to discover how deep and vast the circle of gay men and women in the entertainment runs.”
Dean told IUC the story of his friend “Sandy” who worked with Smith on the film “Wild, Wild West.” “Sandy” informed Dean that the crew started taking bets on Will Smith because one of his male suitors often visited the set and stayed in Will’s trailer. They were taking bets on how often his male suitor arrived and how long he would stay. “Everyone on the set knew what was going on with Will and his “friend”, Dean said.
Dean stresses how many of the gay actors, rappers, and celebrities he encountered romantcially and socially refuse to come out of the closet in fear their careers will be destroyed.
“It is very tantilizing for those who have no idea and remain in denial about many actor’s and their gay trists,” Dean told IUC. “In regards to your recent stories you posted on your blog about Will Smith and the madame who outs him and other celebrities, to me, and those of us (people of color) in the business, this is not a big shock. I know many Hollywood celebrities and rappers are still hiding their sexuality. I traveled in many circles and dated many celebs in Hollywood and Hip Hop.”

ReplyThere is one way to help solve this. We need more gay movies and ones where the parts are not played by supposedly straight men who want to prove what great actors they are because they can kiss a man on screen.
Maybe we all need to read more Dan Savage.
ReplyI agree with Pamela, with one small caveat–there are plenty of gay movies. What we need are GOOD gay movies, because most gay movies are bloody AWFUL. They come off as totally ham-fisted and trite because instead of just telling a story–like “straight” movies–they seem to all be laboriously whispering from the sidelines, “See? See how we gays are JUST LIKE YOU? See how we have the EXACT SAME romantic entanglements as Kathryn Heigl and Reese Witherspoon do? Can’t we all just get along? Let’s hold hands and sing the praises of diversity, shall wee?” Ugh. That’s not entertaining. A story is. Here’s a good gay movie for you: “Mambo Italiano.” Great little gay movie–seriously, Netflix it–that’s just a little romantic comedy story with gay characters–like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” but gay. Nothing more. More gay movies like THAT–that appeal to a wide swatch of people simply on their entertainment merits alone–would make a difference…
