Murders in Jamaica more than triple NYC

It’s just like many of the Central American countries that have become to dangerous to visit as a tourist anymore. The police are just as dirty as the drug lords and gangs are. My son recently went to Jamaica and said it was obviously not a safe place. Soon they won’t have any tourist money. People follow you around constantly asking if you want to by drugs. They come out and hassle you on the beach about buying drugs and the police just look the other way. The same thing happened in Mexican border towns. It’s sad because these are great places to go for fun and they suck all the fun out of it.
ReplyFor years now I’ve been reading of the dangers of visiting Jamaica. Many articles about the various resorts have referenced the fact that you do not want to venture outside the resort if not in a large group.
What disturbs me most – on a personal level – is the amount of homophobia in that country. Popular recording artists sing songs about killing gay people and it’s viewed as perfectly acceptable.
I’d be interested to learn the percentage of the 1100+ murders happening in Jamaica this year that were actually hate crimes perpetrated against gays. Just as in Cuba, the U.S. turns a blind eye.

ReplyHave no cash to buy a building? Do not worry, because that’s available to take the loan to resolve such kind of problems. So take a small business loan to buy all you require.
