At least somebody was excited for the chance to go see Katie on Broadway, even if they were protesters.
Also, is Katie talking to John Lithgow because scientologists believe Third Rock From the Sun was based on their wacky religion?
ReplyI heard about this one. The protestors were wearing “Free Katie” shirts weren’t they? And Tom Cruise then leapt onto a sofa and shook his fists into the air.
Wait, wait. I’m totally kidding about the last part. Tom only does antics like that on national television. Not in front of a crowd of 30 people. Please, the boy, after all, does know how to work his public mojo.
ReplyPictured, though not visible, on Katie’s left eyelid: Please help me. And, on the right one: John Lithgow, I’ll do anything, and I mean ANYTHING, just get me the fuck as far away from him as you can.
ReplyIs John Lithgow really balding that badly? Or is he just trying to make Katie more comfortable acting opposite him by extending his forehead to a James Van Der Beek like level?
And congratulations to Gwen Stefani on her Top Celebrity Designer win. I’m sure ABC will have a show called that on by November. I can’t wait to see Omarosa design a pleated skirt!
ReplyI wouldn’t put it past the Scientologists to having HIRED protesters to show up at Holmes’ Broadway gig. The same way publicists hired girls to scream for the Beatles and Sinatra et al. What more ingenious way for them to generate publicity for how ‘the world’ continues to persecute them than by hiring actors (most of whom probably are Scientologists anyway) to portray anti-Scientologists? Ian oughta know after having hung out with them that such a tactic would be well within their modus operandi.
ReplyIs Katie Holmes really a star? Do people actually get excited by her? I see that “Eli Stone” TV show proudly proclaiming that she’s gonna be singing and dancing on their series–and I just ask myself, “Does anyone care?” I guess there are still a few “Dawson’s Creek” fans out there who miss their Joey–but Joey’s changed. A lot. Does hooking up with Tom Cruise automatically make her a big star? Will “Eli Stone’s” ratings skyrocket through the roof when she’s on? Yes, Mr. Cruise is a MOVIE STAR (even though his career isn’t what it once was), but does this stardom rub off on his young wife? I don’t know. I always look the other way when I see Tom and Katie staring at me in the supermarket check-out line. They just give me the creeps.
