IUC Poll Final: Just like U.S. elections we rig the vote but still can’t catch Levin’s TMZ; Perez Hilton finishes 6th

After receiving zero votes on Saturday in our poll for best gossip source, we decided to use a different strategy Sunday that is most common in the sleazy entertainment biz – payola. Our roving pollster Joe Go promised free tickets to the Broadway smash play “Broadway Joe Undercover” to people who voted for www.ianundercover.com Only problem, this play does not exist. It was a hoax to get people to vote for us.
Still, we could not catch Harvey Levin’s TMZ, but we certainly made it close. Levin got 4,439 votes out of 14,251 people polled. IanUndercover finished second with 3,751 votes followed by Page Six with 2,817. In Touch Weekly beat out US Weekly for fourth place 1,666 to 1,519. Perez Hilton supporters made a last day run for it, receiving 842 votes. Other interesting sites to receive votes were barbie.com, sheila.com, espn.go.com, mad.com, youcube.com, and even priceisright.com did pretty well with 14 votes.
