IUC Exclusive: It Was Simon Cowell who called for change at American Idol

Simon Cowell was not pleased with last season’s American Idol. Shortly after the season finale, IUC has learned, Cowell sat down with the bosses at Idol and demanded the show get a facelift. At one point, he even suggested hiring a female to host with Ryan Seacrest. Finally, he settled on finding a new female judge. “This was a slow season,” Cowell told his cohorts. “If we don’t do something now next season might be our last.”

thats not true, i think putting a new judge and a different change actually is going to make people view it less.
Replyi like american idol the way it is now.
and i think this gives it a bigger chance to slowly end which hopefully it doesnt.
This post makes a lot of sense !
ReplyThere are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
ReplyIf you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
