IUC World Exclusive: Obama Stole “Lipstick on a Pig” comment from of all people – Dick Cheney
IUC has learned Senator Barack Obama stole parts of Vice President Dick Cheney’s reelection campaign speech in 2004, which occurred in of all places on Obama’s home turf in Honolulu. Cheney, berating John Kerry’s approach on national security, said “He’s trying every which way to cover up his record of weakness on national defense. But he can’t do it. It won’t work. As we like to say in Wyoming, you can put all the lipstick you want on a pig, but at the end of the day it’s still a pig.”
A call by IUC to Obama’s headquarters has not been returned.
This is not the first time Obama has been accused of plagiarism. Last February, Obama admitted he used parts of a speech by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick without crediting him. Ironically, Obama’s running mate Joe Biden was forced to drop out of the ‘88 campaign cause of being caught plagiarizing Neil Kinnock, the former Labor Party leader in the U.K.

Umm hello, lipstick on a pig is not a new term that John McCain invented, I dont know all that was said, but if it was simply the idea then this is ridiculous.
ReplyIf Obama stole the silly phrase from Dick, then so did McSame, who’s been spouting it off for the last year or so. And really, folks, isn’t this whole thing a non-issue that the Republicans are just using to avoid discussing real issues like the economy and health care?
ReplyI think the expression should be: “You can put all the lipstick you want on Dick Chaney and it will still be Dick Chaney!”
